I had such a grand time on Julia’s Anchor Haven Debrief podcast! I met Julia via Gina Virginia Casella (see end of this article for more regarding Gina’s Dragon Dreamers conference on June 13th). And I do hope some of you can join us all day on June 13th for that. Gina and everyone on the team, as well as us presenters have been working hard to ensure everyone will gain new insights and perspectives on a range of subjects, so I think it will be worth your time and $40 to watch/listen. I know I’m excited about it!
The episode of Anchor Haven’s Debrief I was on can be found at: https://youtu.be/pBlP6SFGKWA?si=OdBt-aewcR9hBTnQ or at: https://www.youtube.com/live/qQZZBdXNYRw?si=ff3HJwmesamPb9q-
Not sure why it’s there twice, with one having 112 views as of today and the other having 41 views. The time is the same, so I believe the videos are the same, only the thumbnail is different. I’m including both links so choose whichever works for you.

New Movement – Vanja’s Moves Method
After prayer, I began seeing a LOT of video ads from a gal in Australia named, Vanja. Perhaps you’ve seen those ads too, where she squats, and hangs, does splits, and all kinds of things. She’s incredibly flexible and STRONG! Of course, she’s much younger than ME, but she says she’s taught people much older than me how to get their mobility back! Ha! I didn’t believe it at first, but after watching more and having a one hour discovery call (which I did NOT buy into their personalized training program).
I did spend $27 on Vanja’s “toolkit,” which is why they routed me to have that one hour discovery call, and that toolkit gives me the beginner movements to follow to see if I like how they train. If nothing else, I’m looking at this as a way to replace the Pilates class I used to go to when we lived in Florida. And other than buying one piece of equipment to hang on, I won’t have to make any other purchases. I’m building my belief in this because every day, I’m squatting more and for longer time (seconds still at this point), and I’ve lost an inch off my waist–in 5 DAYS! I don’t weigh myself, I measure. But when I get my blood labs done the end of June, I’m sure they will tell me how much I weigh. Ugh.
Here’s the first few video “shorts” of the training I’ve been doing:
Day 2 of squatting: https://youtube.com/shorts/er0HbE2-Rxg?si=gPiWTStX14dLmH5l
And then I progressed to: https://youtube.com/shorts/n0a84v57Dc0?si=2aOrfzwSGuByzXom
And compared to: https://youtube.com/shorts/zRk0SngiwEg?si=MKiUwNbOxcDO8Mqd
I’m really getting to the point where I look forward to hanging and squatting as soon as I wake up in the mornings! Today is Day 13 of doing the Moves Method and as I told my naturopathic doctor yesterday, I’m a believer! I feel better overall and getting a bit of zest for life back! Ha! Oh, and he found the root cause of my numb toes issue yesterday… so I can continue working on the bottom of my left foot, doing a cross-fiber massage on it while holding my toes back with the other hand! I’d never held my toes back before while massaging my feet, so there’s that. Go figure!
Video book reviews
I’m almost done creating a new video book review, part 1 for the daily devotional I’ve been reading (that was a birthday gift from my bestie since 4th grade), Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I have been getting a LOT out of it, though I am often several days behind in my reading and so the “daily” part of it has been the most challenging. This is definitely getting me into the habit of spending time with Christ Jesus every day… I believe that’s what the word, commitment is all about too! Spending the time.
Once that’s on my YouTube channel, I’ll start working on a video book review, part 1 on The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche that my Theosophy/Buddhist book club is reading and discussing. It’s DEEP and so rewarding! . Then, I’ll review Russell Brand’s new book, How to Become a Christian in Seven Days. Finally, I’ll circle back around to finish up the 2nd part of my review of Jennifer Carey’s book, Illuminating the Stories that Bind Us. The link to the part 1 video book review of it is: https://youtu.be/NtHNcOlCOMY?si=7ChQiP-m-6CXrKDM I’m almost finished with Jen’s book too, and will begin putting together a video review for it in July.
Unsolicited Radio is now on Rumble!
Our Unsolicited Radio channel is still rolling along, though I have had some ridiculous arguments with YouTube, so I’ve began adding all of our videos onto Rumble! I won’t muck and mire about YouTube, but I am NOT happy with THEM! I’ve been creating a new music show daily and adding it to YouTube and Rumble. Most premiere about 11am eastern time each day. I’m not including each link below, but here’s a few to get you started and you can check out the others on your own:
Crossovers music show #1: https://youtu.be/tzc56nat5BM
Crossovers music show #2: https://youtu.be/ojn1hHglOGc

Various music show: https://youtu.be/QRvNhR9wJVc
Follow me on Rumble via link at the very bottom of this article and yes, all four of these radio shows are now on Rumble. I’m working on 6 more crossover shows and a couple of pop music shows too! So very busy!
Couple sketches
As you know, I continue to use my friend, Linda Lewis’ sketches as models–follow Linda at: https://creativeartworksblog.com and this is not a sketch of hers but a picture of a piece of driftwood that I thought I might be able to sketch:

I’m working on one now that my daughter sketched and then painted on canvas at the art studio where she works. I’ll have it ready to show in a few days, but I am busy practicing my keynote speech for Saturday’s conference, so I may not post again for a week. You know how it goes!

Here’s the link where you can grab a copy of, We Are All Connected: The How and The Why. An analytical mind searches for answers. I’ve now sold several copies, even one to someone in Australia! So, I’ve made $40 from Amazon. I’m still working on reformatting the book though so hopefully the paperback version will print better. I’m still aggravated with how some people’s paperback copies had blurry print, even one told me the print looked like the printer had began running out of ink! Ugh. If that happens, get your money back from Amazon. I want you to have a readable copy!

JIGGLE WIGGLE and the MOVES
Since hurting myself in January, I’ve been taking it slow like a snail on the dancing, and instead focusing on rehab exercises for strengthening the big muscle that runs from one’s back up/around the shoulder, the low back muscles that can cause sciatica pain, and the outer calf muscle in the leg that runs down and around the ankle and feeds he nerves of the toes! Thus, you’ll be seeing more Vanja Moves Method “short” videos on my channel before anymore dancing.
Currently, I’m challenging myself to use the $27 “toolkit” series of movements from Vanja for the next 4-8 weeks and take it from there. Our son-in-law just setup and put together my pull-up bar equipment I’d ordered from Walmart so I could do the hang movement properly. People were getting concerned that I was going to hurt myself more by trying to hang from the backside of a door, or from the edge of the 2nd story floor that runs above the stairwell. I know that’s hard to visualize and it was even harder to film. I have videos of all the ways I’d tried to hang around this 140-year old house. None of which were safe! So, I took it upon myself to buy a special apparatus for hanging. Hanging decompresses our backs! Who knew? Plus the granddaughters LOVE it! They want one for their room! LOL I told them they can come over any time and hang out with me. They are naturally very good at hanging and doing all kinds of gymnastics type moves on it and no one trained them! Ah, kids!
In my YouTube channel, I encourage those “over 50” to:
- Open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’)
- Become more aware of our thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease
- Loosen up and move our bodies (we’re stuck in our heads also due to our “Programming” and physically unhealthy)
- And become strong and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, and body.
- And to question EVERYTHING!
Here’s where you can access my YouTube channel videos: https://youtube.com/@spiralsister and I have been linking to Vanja too, in the description of my video shorts, in case you are interested in who I’m learning this stuff from re: mobility and movement to rehab my body.
Yours in consciousness-expansion as we evolve and revolve during our mystical awakening. All while doing-my-egoless-best, to take you on a limitless, spiraling thought ride to better health, through doing more with ease, to help us sustain the JOY in our lives! (With lots of Gratitude throughout.)

I am behind though now, after taking a week off, Gray. (Go figure.) And yes, I have a series still of health conference articles to write, though I’m not on any deadline, etc. (Most of that’s all in my mind–deadlines.) Thanks so much for stopping by!

It is good to have a break Sheila. Switching off the thoughts when in full flow is difficult as you say. You do have a lot of interesting themes currently. Great for motivation.
Currently we are on a week long holiday break in Yorkshire and it always takes a few days for Angie to switch off mentally from work left behind. I can nowadays go with the ‘expect that there may be nothing of note from the day to day’ and simply chill.
Cheers Sheila.

Ah, yes, Gray! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you and Angie enjoy your break very much! I hope you get a couple of nice photos while in Yorkshire. (I know nothing of it except for the pudding! Ha!)

Home tomorrow Sheila. No photographs. I did have my film camera ready for action in an old small army bag that was easy to carry. But left it at home! 🙄 Ah well.
In cafes they do a huge Yorkshire pudding that is filled with a full dinner. Cheers Sheila.

Wow, Gray! A huge Yorkshire pudding filled with dinner? I can’t even imagine! I’ve gotta Google that or something, as it sounds incredible! Oops on leaving the camera and army bag at home. But I certainly understand. I took my phone to the little quaint mini-Disney amusement park we went to with the family last Sunday, BUT I couldn’t take it on the rides, and the pictures of took of the granddaughters can’t be shared (that’s been a thing with my daughter and son-in-law, pretty much right from the beginning). They don’t want their faces shared publicly, and I suppose that probably for obvious reasons now (between creeps and AI, who knows how kids are/may be exploited). I’m just so glad I have three park images I can share to give a small sense of what our day was like. I had a FANTASTIC time! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed your outing as well. Thanks so much for your comment.

We had a great break Sheila. My accessed tooth was really troublesome for a while. But gradually subsided. Just thankful the tooth was removed just before the holiday.
Sounds like you’ve had a wonderful mini break too. Totally agree with your views on the modern day abilities to use images inappropriately. Very worrying.
Currently sorting out vinyl playing. Building up a nice turntable, amp and speakers set up. There was a good quality turntable in the holiday home. I bought some Neil Diamond albums up in Yorkshire from a charity shop. So it was good to sit back and listen to a whole album without break. Nowadays it is streaming on YouTube, Spotify, Prime, etc. for many and the ease available in jumping out halfway through songs. Oh for those days of vintage where life, in so many ways, was so different.
Cheers Sheila. 🙏🏽🍁🍂

Oh, I’m so glad you got that tooth removed, Gray! Yes, stuff like that can really hinder one’s experience. What a wonderful treat to find Neil Diamond albums and have the time to sit and listen all the way through after getting back home! Wow! I’m sure that’s so restful and inspiring, Gray. Bravo! p.s. Yes, life with music is very different now.

The guy who owned the place we stayed at was apparently very well known in the entertainment industry. So his house had a really eclectic vibe furniture and pictures on the wall wise. He had a turntable in the living room, so we could listen to vinyl of his as well. Enjoyed the stay immensely.
I bought a couple of Jamo Cornet 30 IV Danish speakers from a local shop in Machynlleth a couple of days ago. With my Pioneer SA500 amplifier I recently bought off eBay, vinyl is now being played. Warm 1970s resonance too. Gorgeous sound. Because the 1970s Pioneer turntable was Kev’s, I chose one of his favourite albums to play for the launch of the new/vintage set up. It’s Maiden voyage so to speak. The album I chose was Kongos by John Kongos. Kev played it a lot. My grandson was with me. He said ‘I rather like this’. Kev channeling his musical preferences into the heart and soul of his great-nephew from across the Universe!
The tooth situation settled after 5 to 6 days Sheila, and have since visited the hygienist and dentist. A fragment of the extracted tooth was working its way out, so she removed it. There may be more she says. Hope note. Sharp little blighters they are indeed. Your tongue gravitates towards it and gets little annoying scratches which get more sore as the day goes by!
Anyways……Cheers Sheila. Hope you have a glorious weekend. 🙏🏽🍁🍂

Wow, Gray! About the tooth fragments and about the new speakers/amp. I’m glad that tooth is continuing to self-clean itself out of your mouth! (Though a good oral surgeon cleans it out after pulling or extracting.) We’re currently watching a YouTube tour of Wales. We’re so fascinated and there’s sooo much more there than we suspected. I’m so glad to hear that your grandson is channeling Kev! Billy talked about that briefly in that interview too, “pulling down notes from the universe” or something such statement like that. I’m pretty sure he actually used the word, “channeled.” Ha! Yes, as you know, that’s my jam. Speaking of such, I watched another Next Level Soul Podcast interview where they suggested this planet Earth as a city or “university = universe-city” of learning for the soul. I love that.

Tooth problems are great are they. I can feel that another fragment may be there now. Nothing broken through yet though. Illness is a cumulative affair really. I have never truly been ill orientated. Always too much to do to get ill. But since that brain aneurysm scare it has steadily been one thing after another. Viral emphasis is my subconscious understanding to a this. Inherent challenging. I feel a good Vision Quest of isolation and focus for a decent span could heal. Maybe do a Billy and channel down the Universe vibe too. And yes…..that is your jam. I’m surprised you haven’t expressed the ambition to do your own Vision Quest.
That phrase regarding the University of Life usually means, to myself, learning how to survive hard knock-backs in life. ‘Life events’ teaching you how to survive. So the links with the soul is very likely to be included in such philosophy. I like that idea too.

Ah, but I have done my version of a Vision Quest with my blogger friend, Deborah Jaguar Spirit (nearly daily since early 2023 and shared many of her posts on my site). I found one of the first ones: https://sheilamurrey.net/2023/04/09/8-crocodile-imix-vision-quest-day-8-of-13/
Previous to that I wrote in 2020 a post about being an “Everyday Shaman.” I think you may be referring to actually doing a Native American indigenous sweat lodge type of Vision Quest with its accompanying solitary pilgrimage and time of fasting though. Maybe? So, it probably depends upon how one defines “Vision Quest.” And of course, I also visited Sedona, Arizona three times in my life. Once in the early 90s and then I went back in 2016 and 2019. The 2016 was a type of Vision Quest called, Journey into Self. I had time alone on one of the vortex mountain ridge alone and felt the energy of my grandmother of Cherokee lineage as I walked in suede moccasins that had no sole, so I could feel every pebble! THAT was quite the experience! And it definitely informed the “Integrating the Spirals” process and philosophy that I would codify after our Sacred Celtic journey in 2019. Ah! Thank you, Gray for bringing all this back to mind for me! I really am doing soul work and integration nearly every day! Wow! I had not thought of it in exactly that way before.
Yes, each tooth is connected to a body part. There are maps you can find online. The body is so strong, yet so fragile! I think of how a snake bite can kill us, but conversely how many people (like Veterans) who have survived torture and death captivity for YEARS. I think Native Americans–Cherokee in particular who survived the Trail of Tears forced march of relocation. I’m currently reading a book on that again, which is why it’s fresh in my mind. We also just watched the movie, The Long Walk which was a Stephen King novel adaptation. It was sad. I don’t know if I recommend it or not. Like the movie Dreamcatcher, Stephen seems bent on showing us the “shit” literally–if you know what I mean. I’ll take a good Johnny Depp movie any day now over these Stephen King flicks. But I digress.

This read is fascinating Sheila. You highlighted the Native American culture/philosophy and that is the one that I mean. In the sense of getting back to understanding your ‘true self/inner soul’. Spend a few days in the wilderness without seeing anyone else. Of course it requires deeper reading. And you already state your visits to Sedona and connections. I read a couple of books regarding this Vision Quest pathway and experiencing the pilgrimage and fasting you have identified. Also, Soulcraft, the book gives similar suggestions. I suppose you become one and bond with the Earth, its peace and its unsettling nature too and self reflection is heightened by fasting. It’s the darkness of night that would particularly spook myself! And bright sunshine would be a no no too. Hence why I probably haven’t committed.
I love the elongated Johnny Depp advert in a Sauvage promotion where he sits under the stars at night in the desert. He sits by an open fire, so maybe that would be the nighttime solution. That short film is amazing. I’ve watched it a fair few times. He has done a few little short films of ten minutes length. The recent Hyde one is amazing.
I sometimes shy away from Stephen King movies that can really be impactful. I read up before watching them. They can really upset one’s emotions in a bad way. But others are wonderful. A few authors can do this. I’m eagerly waiting for the new David Mitchell book and have preordered it. Comes out on September 9th. As yet untitled. He said it has been his most challenging yet. It has taken a very long time to finish and get published.
Back to Johnny. He is Scrooge in the new Ebenezer film. Comes out in November. The trailer is out now. Looks good. Some great notable actors surrounding him too. I love Sam Claflin, Sir Ian McKellen and Rupert Grint, all who play parts. I haven’t looked up who else is in the movie yet.
Thanks for the very informative reply Sheila. Your life is full of surprises.
Cheers and 🙏🏽🍁🍂

We’re really looking forward to Johnny’s new flick coming out, Ebenezer! We just happened to see the trailer for it last night! I have not heard of David Mitchell and as a rule, I don’t read fiction. I will read it as an editor or to learn how to build a character arc, but have not really enjoyed reading fiction since I was a teen. And once the internet came my way I was blown away by how much real life there was to learn about… so there’s that. Just like you mentioned about in your nursing career, you had to learn real life and things that made a difference in saving people’s lives! At least my tech career wasn’t that stressful (though it was stressful enough for me).
I will have to check out the Sauvage and Hyde short film from Johnny. I also love Sir Ian McKellen and Rupert Grint (from the Harry Potter movies, right?) though Sam Claflin’s name doesn’t ring a bell. I know I could look him up. Yes, life is full of surprises, Gray. I try to roll with it, like water. Cheers!

I am confused as to how this film will end up. The director is known for horror movies apparently. So there may well be a false vibe with the trailer. And fiction is fantastic when the stories are spellbinding. During Covid and being on the ward, I read all the Harry Potter books again. It allowed much respite after shifts had finished. Stress seemed to melt away. Back in the days of teenage years, Tolkein, Conan Doyle, HG Wells, Agatha Christie and more brought about comfort in their presence. As a youngster Richmal Crompton, Enid Blyton, etc. allowed escapism. Fiction offers a lovely balance to the books of learning and instructions.
You’ll love those little short films of Johnny’s. Look at Comic Con links. I believe they are there. 🙏🏽

You’re so busy I don’t know how you keep everything straight, but you sound full of life and energy, and that’s what it’s all about. Enjoy every minute of it. I’m proud to know you, Sheila!!!!

Thank you so much, dear Linda!! I am thrilled you love both pieces, the clay and plaster! I was going to ask you what you thought I might do to improve the plaster piece—I think it is kind of bland. But I thought the green would look good on the gray wall, and it does. Just think the yellow dots need more definition or something.
Your words of encouragement mean so much to me!!
