Thanks to Walmart extending me the offer to become a Recognized Reviewer, I have been searching their 1,000 items list for the last few days and thinking about all the things we need, or want, plus what we might give as holiday gifts, especially to the granddaughters. I’m beyond excited to know that because I’ve freely given Walmart hundreds (I think it’s over 1,000 by now actually), mostly on food items we’ve bought from them in the two years we’ve lived in New Hampshire, that NOW, I will save us at least a few hundred dollars a year by getting free products just for reviewing said items. Yippee!!
Plus, I can order some items that have not yet been released on Walmart.com! So, I finally found a great watercolor set (and I had been looking and checking different stores online for a while). What a FUN retirement “job” to have now, right? And currently, I am an elite Yelp reviewer too, but I digress. I’m a writer, right? And a writer writes, as we say. So there’s that.

I had been wanting to try some watercolor painting for months, since my blogger pal, and artist, Linda, has been painting her sketches with watercolor paints. She suggested I get a children’s set of watercolors to begin with and that’s pretty much what I did.

I’ve already left my review of these watercolors on the Walmart site, so this is simply an extra post to show you all, my readers, the background on how I found these and what they are. And it’s all thanks to Linda’s encouragement. Aren’t I lucky?

I felt inspired, since receiving my new watercolor kit (Thanks to Walmart! See my next article where I explain the program and show you the kit), that I got to sketching and painting right away yesterday afternoon! I decided to attempt another one of the sketches I’ve held onto for months (from Linda Lewis’ blog). Let me know what you think of it:
Linda Lewis’ child on tree swing sketch on laptop and my version of child on tree swing sketch on paper –Sheila MurreyMy child on tree swing sketch. My critique is that I really need to practice hands (haha! Mine kind of look like claws), and I probably should have used watercolor on the shirt and pants instead of the oil pastels. –Sheila Murrey
The shoulder/arm/back pain I have been experiencing for just over a week is continuing to ease. I checked Walmart for any other kind of pillow or massager, etc. and couldn’t find anything I liked any better than what I have (an ergonomic pillow, TENS machine, and PowerPlate massager in a sort of peanut shape). The herbal tincture from Herbal-Cottage helps, but I believe I need their nerve tonic as well, and they are out of stock on it right now. The Ibuprofen didn’t help at all last night, so I am looking at getting a stronger topical comfrey cream. I found one via a Facebook ad, but it’s about $50 for a 2 ounce jar! Not wanting to spend that, I’m checking elsewhere online. Let me know if you have used a good one.
I’m breathing and repeating my new mantra: “Art communicates more than words, builds new neural pathways (in the brain), and connects us all!”

I just finished a sketch of a Thai scene (thanks and link to Linda Lewis), from a lovely sketch that Linda shared on Apr. 7th! That’s how far behind I am on my sketching. That is on the list of several I’ve saved from Linda to help me learn and stay motivated. It was one of her first Thai scenes with all the wires! I don’t know if I did it justice or not, but will share it anyway.
Thai sketch, from Linda Lewis’ sketch of Apr. 7th, 2026 –Sheila Murrey
I have another Integrating the spirals blog in draft, but waiting to make the video for it, so it can wait.
Art takes precedence for me today since I am in shoulder/arm/back pain AGAIN. Ugh! I do NOT know what I did, but I have had to take a break from the hanging mobility exercises. And to think, that was what got me out of the pain for the last 2 months! I just don’t know. On top of that, I am aggravated because I finally had my Zoom call with my new doctor’s office (the one in Maine I went to nearly two months ago for all the testing and blood labs) and they did NOT give me much new information to go on. Plus they wanted $2500 for a membership just to save me on all the prescriptions and supplements they were going to recommend. NOPE! I ordered the bare minimum supplements from them and will discuss the rest with my local naturopathic doctors (husband and wife docs). I’m all slathered up with Stopain and the like (topical pain relievers since I don’t take Ibuprofen or such), just to be able to type! I also ordered more of the herb pain tonic too (from Christina at Herbal-Cottage in Florida). It’s a godsend for nerve pain relief.
Closeup of my Thai sketch, from Linda Lewis’ sketch of Apr. 7th, 2026 –Sheila Murrey
I did enjoy sketching this scene and think it helped take my mind off this pain. I did the whole sketch with a brown pencil that did not erase well. So, anything I felt I needed to change, I took care of when I began coloring with the oil pastels. I’m learning now to only shade one side of pots with color to allow for the light that might be shining on them from the top/other side. Let me know if that worked well. I loved the spirals in this, but of course!
I continue to remind myself that Art can communicate more than words and not only connects us all, but makes new neural pathway connections in the brain too! Ah, the brain is such a funny (odd, not haha funny) and mysterious organ of the body.

I had such a grand time on Julia’s Anchor Haven Debrief podcast! I met Julia via Gina Virginia Casella (see end of this article for more regarding Gina’s Dragon Dreamers conference on June 13th). And I do hope some of you can join us all day on June 13th for that. Gina and everyone on the team, as well as us presenters have been working hard to ensure everyone will gain new insights and perspectives on a range of subjects, so I think it will be worth your time and $40 to watch/listen. I know I’m excited about it!
Not sure why it’s there twice, with one having 112 views as of today and the other having 41 views. The time is the same, so I believe the videos are the same, only the thumbnail is different. I’m including both links so choose whichever works for you.

New Movement – Vanja’s Moves Method
After prayer, I began seeing a LOT of video ads from a gal in Australia named, Vanja. Perhaps you’ve seen those ads too, where she squats, and hangs, does splits, and all kinds of things. She’s incredibly flexible and STRONG! Of course, she’s much younger than ME, but she says she’s taught people much older than me how to get their mobility back! Ha! I didn’t believe it at first, but after watching more and having a one hour discovery call (which I did NOT buy into their personalized training program).
I did spend $27 on Vanja’s “toolkit,” which is why they routed me to have that one hour discovery call, and that toolkit gives me the beginner movements to follow to see if I like how they train. If nothing else, I’m looking at this as a way to replace the Pilates class I used to go to when we lived in Florida. And other than buying one piece of equipment to hang on, I won’t have to make any other purchases. I’m building my belief in this because every day, I’m squatting more and for longer time (seconds still at this point), and I’ve lost an inch off my waist–in 5 DAYS! I don’t weigh myself, I measure. But when I get my blood labs done the end of June, I’m sure they will tell me how much I weigh. Ugh.
Here’s the first few video “shorts” of the training I’ve been doing:
I’m really getting to the point where I look forward to hanging and squatting as soon as I wake up in the mornings! Today is Day 13 of doing the Moves Method and as I told my naturopathic doctor yesterday, I’m a believer! I feel better overall and getting a bit of zest for life back! Ha! Oh, and he found the root cause of my numb toes issue yesterday… so I can continue working on the bottom of my left foot, doing a cross-fiber massage on it while holding my toes back with the other hand! I’d never held my toes back before while massaging my feet, so there’s that. Go figure!
Video book reviews
I’m almost done creating a new video book review, part 1 for the daily devotional I’ve been reading (that was a birthday gift from my bestie since 4th grade), Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I have been getting a LOT out of it, though I am often several days behind in my reading and so the “daily” part of it has been the most challenging. This is definitely getting me into the habit of spending time with Christ Jesus every day… I believe that’s what the word, commitment is all about too! Spending the time.
Once that’s on my YouTube channel, I’ll start working on a video book review, part 1 on The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche that my Theosophy/Buddhist book club is reading and discussing. It’s DEEP and so rewarding! . Then, I’ll review Russell Brand’s new book, How to Become a Christian in Seven Days. Finally, I’ll circle back around to finish up the 2nd part of my review of Jennifer Carey’s book, Illuminating the Stories that Bind Us. The link to the part 1 video book review of it is: https://youtu.be/NtHNcOlCOMY?si=7ChQiP-m-6CXrKDM I’m almost finished with Jen’s book too, and will begin putting together a video review for it in July.
Unsolicited Radio is now on Rumble!
Our Unsolicited Radio channel is still rolling along, though I have had some ridiculous arguments with YouTube, so I’ve began adding all of our videos onto Rumble! I won’t muck and mire about YouTube, but I am NOT happy with THEM! I’ve been creating a new music show daily and adding it to YouTube and Rumble. Most premiere about 11am eastern time each day. I’m not including each link below, but here’s a few to get you started and you can check out the others on your own:
Follow me on Rumble via link at the very bottom of this article and yes, all four of these radio shows are now on Rumble. I’m working on 6 more crossover shows and a couple of pop music shows too! So very busy!
Couple sketches
As you know, I continue to use my friend, Linda Lewis’ sketches as models–follow Linda at: https://creativeartworksblog.com and this is not a sketch of hers but a picture of a piece of driftwood that I thought I might be able to sketch:
Driftwood face photo – original artist unknown but found on Linda’s Creative Artworks blog.My driftwood face sketch with markers and oil pastels on poster paper. –Sheila MurreyThis is a trinket dish I made from clay at the art studio and after it was fired once, I went back to paint it. I chose to antique it so that’s why you see more of the color in the crevices and lighter on the rest of the plate/bowl. I love how it turned out! –Sheila MurreyAnd this is a flower casting made from a clay imprint I made and then poured plaster into, to turn out this casting. Unfortunately, the plaster wasn’t measured properly, so the flowers didn’t come out the way we expected. The studio has offered I come back for another class gratis. I don’t know if I will. I simply filed down the rough spots on the flowers and painted it. I probably could have done a better job of painting it, but plaster soaks up a lot of paint. –Sheila Murrey
I’m working on one now that my daughter sketched and then painted on canvas at the art studio where she works. I’ll have it ready to show in a few days, but I am busy practicing my keynote speech for Saturday’s conference, so I may not post again for a week. You know how it goes!

Here’s the link where you can grab a copy of, We Are All Connected: The How and The Why. An analytical mind searches for answers. I’ve now sold several copies, even one to someone in Australia! So, I’ve made $40 from Amazon. I’m still working on reformatting the book though so hopefully the paperback version will print better. I’m still aggravated with how some people’s paperback copies had blurry print, even one told me the print looked like the printer had began running out of ink! Ugh. If that happens, get your money back from Amazon. I want you to have a readable copy!
Since hurting myself in January, I’ve been taking it slow like a snail on the dancing, and instead focusing on rehab exercises for strengthening the big muscle that runs from one’s back up/around the shoulder, the low back muscles that can cause sciatica pain, and the outer calf muscle in the leg that runs down and around the ankle and feeds he nerves of the toes! Thus, you’ll be seeing more Vanja Moves Method “short” videos on my channel before anymore dancing.
Currently, I’m challenging myself to use the $27 “toolkit” series of movements from Vanja for the next 4-8 weeks and take it from there. Our son-in-law just setup and put together my pull-up bar equipment I’d ordered from Walmart so I could do the hang movement properly. People were getting concerned that I was going to hurt myself more by trying to hang from the backside of a door, or from the edge of the 2nd story floor that runs above the stairwell. I know that’s hard to visualize and it was even harder to film. I have videos of all the ways I’d tried to hang around this 140-year old house. None of which were safe! So, I took it upon myself to buy a special apparatus for hanging. Hanging decompresses our backs! Who knew? Plus the granddaughters LOVE it! They want one for their room! LOL I told them they can come over any time and hang out with me. They are naturally very good at hanging and doing all kinds of gymnastics type moves on it and no one trained them! Ah, kids!
In my YouTube channel, I encourage those “over 50” to:
Open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’)
Become more aware of our thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease
Loosen up and move our bodies (we’re stuck in our heads also due to our “Programming” and physically unhealthy)
And become strong and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, and body.
And to question EVERYTHING!
Here’s where you can access my YouTube channel videos: https://youtube.com/@spiralsister and I have been linking to Vanja too, in the description of my video shorts, in case you are interested in who I’m learning this stuff from re: mobility and movement to rehab my body.

Next, I picked up this sketch at our local sushi mart and have no idea who drew it. But I was drawn to it and so, I took a photo of it and sketched it at home. I will show the employees at the sushi place next time we go and see if they like my version.

Attended 2-Day Better Way Conference
I’ll simply say that this entire weekend I was immersed in the Better Way Conference via a virtual ticket. The conference was held in Rhode Island and I’d learned about it via Dr. Bruce Lipton (though he was not a presenter there). People I’ve followed for YEARS were involved and the incredible information learned, both from the speakers and insights that dropped into my mind while watching and listening will become a SERIES of blog articles, so stay tuned!
Holistic health information was shared, receipts proving studies and some of the former so-called conspiracy theories were brought front and center, and ways we can ALL work to find a better way through to resolve any health issues were discussed and debated. Shocker, NOT everyone agreed on EVERYTHING either. And that’s always true when it comes to health SCIENCE, but all ideas, perspectives, and philosophies were HONORED and RESPECTED and THAT’S why I LOVED this entire two-day conference and want to be more involved for the next ones… and there will be more as they are offering a FREE franchise!

Empaths are sponges and until we learn that we can either build boundaries to not absorb what we don’t want, yet, OR we come to know that EVERYTHING works FOR our good, either to grow us or glow us like a slow burn candle… well then, we may FEEL too much (too much emotions), or react inappropriately and turn others off. And when we turn others off, it may take us YEARS (if ever), to reestablish those relationships–whether friend or family, such as when adult children cut off their parents because their parents have come on too strong (even if the parents think they’re good intentioned). Ah!
I’ve been learning a lot while reading all three of the following books (at the same time, I rotate them on a daily basis, and study (not simply read) them. I’ll be doing video book reviews on each of them, per my notes in the margins, and already completed one (part 1) of this one by my friend, Jennifer Carey. I’m reading it on my phone at night before I sleep, so I’ve not been taking notes. (I sometimes nearly laugh out loud though! I muffle myself because if I woke Richard up with my laughing HE would NOT be amused.)

Current happenings
I’ve been continuing to see my naturopathic doctor to resolve the toe issue, or should I say, toes plural issue, but that doesn’t sound right when I say it. And I tweaked my arm the other night when I went to our eldest granddaughter’s last choir/band concert of the school year! Ugh. Why didn’t I say NO to going? Why did I change seats TWICE at her boyfriend’s request? Apparently, my daughter was right when a day previous to this experience she told Richard that I (me) just cannot say, NO! Go figure. And then the Universe proved it to me. I don’t say NO nearly often enough! Lesson learned.
And here’s the update to a video I did two months ago, but I added screen titles to illuminate my lessons learned regarding these physical issues: https://youtu.be/DGpYUK4tqKA?si=9oTUpwsIEwhCTGi6
As well, I’ve been watching several of these Gina interview shows via her “Buy Me a Coffee” portal:
Now, we’ve got three more music radio livestream shows for you to watch/listen to, if you haven’t subscribed to our Unsolicited Radio channel already:
Richard is several shows ahead of me and I am working feverishly to get all the parts and pieces together in iMovie on my now, very overworked, MacBook Air, to livestream all of these shows. Sometimes my MacBook will spontaneously shut down and reboot in the middle of a livestream and the show ends abruptly! Not good when one is trying to launch a new YouTube channel and gain subscribers! But I suppose that’s a “first world country” kind of issue that no one really wants to hear about. I might have to buy a new laptop soon…
My last sketches
As you know, I continue to use my friend, Linda Lewis’ sketches as models–follow Linda at: X Yes, I continue to practice sketching. And yes, while I’m monitoring our livestreams of the radio show, that’s when I do my sketching. I can’t work on my laptop while the shows are live-streaming, so it makes sense. And I enjoy these. Richard also asked for one based on one of his artworks too, and he surprised me by using Photoshop to integrate my sketch INTO his art! Wow!
My “shrines” sketch, based on Linda Lewis’ sketch model. And after coloring my sketch with oil pastels and black marker. I did use my laptop to show this model from Linda as I worked on it over several days. I typically use my iPhone to view the model sketches. – See Linda’s blog article: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/05/07/thursday-5-7-2026/I’m very happy with this “shrine” sketch all colored in. Thanks so much to Linda for the original Thailand shrines sketch! See: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/05/07/thursday-5-7-2026/A Linda Lewis original sketch from her post: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/04/29/wednesday-4-29-2026/My copy or version of Linda’s cowgirl hat sketch. That white spot within the green thing is supposed to be her right hand. I know. I’m not good with hands. But I’m learning. I nearly didn’t leave room for her feet either! LOL I did enjoy trying to do this sketch though, and Linda always tells me that’s what is important.Richard gave me one of his wolf art prints and asked me to “draw it like a child would.” Well, THAT was easy. Ha! LOL! (because I do draw like a child!) This is what I gave him.Richard incorporated my wolf sketch INTO his wolf artwork! Ha! I think he’d had someone complain about his original wolf looking too much like their photographer’s work, so he removed the offending wolf, but I’m probably not supposed to talk about that story… so shhhhh! Haha!
Now, whew! How’s THAT for balancing perspectives?!?

About us
My husband is an award-winning illustrator, plus he’s a seasoned guitarist, bass player, and songwriter (with over 1,000 original songs). You can view some of his artwork and listen to many of his songs at: https://www.youtube.com/user/richardmurrey
I had a bad night last night. Wait. Let me reframe that. I had a restless night last night. I woke up about 1:30am after not going to sleep until around 11pm.
We’d had a fun evening out with our daughter and son-in-law, which is rare for us because they have a 14-year old and 9-year old twins. But I do think we’ll get out a bit more often because the girls all get along well and the eldest doesn’t have to do much for the twins–as long as they’ve all eaten something first. LOL
So the four of us adults walked two blocks to our neighborhood Italian restaurant (if you follow me on Yelp and read my food reviews there, you’ll know where we eat). We had drinks and delicious food and lots of lively conversation! Then we all walked home. Yes, we WALKED, not crawled. So, there’s that. None of us over imbibe, which is a good thing. Now that our daughter and son-in-law are in their 40s, they’ve learned, as we did years ago, that drinking to the point of crawling home (or to a hotel), or needing to sleep on the bathroom floor, isn’t fun. And it isn’t healthy. Of course I know many of you would say no amount of alcohol is healthy either, and you’d probably be right–though Guinness beer has been brewed since 1759. And no, I didn’t drink Guinness beer last night, I got a rather mild “mule” cocktail in a copper cup (a favorite drink to get “out” since I’m still debating buying some old copper mugs at our local consignment shop). I digress.
A lot of my herbal tinctures are made with alcohol, so again, I default to my saying of “levels, layers, doses, and degrees.” And a splash of cold water on the face, or turning the water on COLD at the end of a shower is sooo invigorating–and healthy! But that makes me think of my holistic health book, and not the point of this blog article.
So, what is the point of this blog article?
Book review videos
In the middle of the night, while praying, and shedding some tears over several poignant memories I had of visits with my mom and dad (before their passing), and then reminding myself that I know where they are as explained in my book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection.
After the tears passed, I went into meditation and BOOM! A great idea dropped IN! I am reading multiple books and just did that video about the art class… soooo… I’m going to start doing book reviews on VIDEO! Ha! Here’s a taste of what I’m going to put out: https://youtu.be/-H3YrlxZN7U

Exercising
I also decided that exercising first thing in the morning, like my friend Linda Lewis does, is NON-FREAKING-NEGOTIABLE! Today is the third day that I’ve exercised with Dr. Kristie Ennis (who is local to us, but she only offers Zoom classes). And she’s on YouTube – here’s her link: https://www.youtube.com/c/kristieennis I put one or two of her videos on and workout. Tada!
I just must do this as soon as I wake up, either in bed or next to the bed, or it’s not going to happen. Then, I can add some more movement like the JIGGLE WIGGLE later on and record it for my channel, etc. after I get the back/shoulder/toes in good shape again, as every time I’ve tried lately to do that again, I’ve hurt again. Ugh!

While listening a second time to Missy’s interview with Gina, I left the following comment:
“Epigenetics matters” is sooo tweet able, Gina! Yes! Ah! There’s so much great stuff here! And Missy, I was certainly a “run-on sentence writer” when I was in school. I also tend to talk too much and over share. But I’ve come to embrace it, and breathe through some of it after realizing “We each learn at differing rates of speed.” I love your self assessment too, Missy, on how good of a singer you are–though you’re probably better than you think! Remember even the pros have people talking over them when they sing! I’ve noticed this in small and large venues. I could talk for hours with you on the moon landings too (having worked at Kennedy Space Center for 6.5 years! Ha! Love this conversation and I get more out of each listen! Kudos to you both!
She even gets into talking about her time out west, Joseph Smith Jr. ghost stories, the Biltmore mansion and hurricane Helene and how it changed the landscape of Asheville, NC and PLASMA! I definitely want to hear more, or even have a conversation or two with Missy Hill!
Our NEW music radio show: Unsolicited Radio
Our NEW YouTube channel where you can see/listen to our music radio show, “Unsolicited Radio” (showcasing Richard’s original songs) is GROWING! We’ve got more than 60 subscribers now! We’re reaching for 500 subscribers so… help us out! Okay?
We’ve put a list of our original songs together in a format that marries the songs with some of Richard’s humorous (quirky, wacky, zany) ads in between a few songs to break it up! Don’t worry, the ads are for fictitious items. We’re not selling anything, yet, by doing these radio shows (other than the songs). It’s our way to help get the songs out to more people, and perhaps, even the “right” people, such as filmmakers, TV show producers, sound engineers, up and coming musical artists who are looking for original songs to sing/play, etc. We’ve never sought the limelight to be performers, simply songwriters.
I hope you’ll subscribe to our new channel and help us go viral! It’s FREE! And it means the world to us to get our 1,434 original songs out into the world! Thank you ALL so much! I’m excited about this!! Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/@Unsolicited_Radio
I’ll attempt another livestream at 3pm eastern time TODAY! So, go ahead and subscribe and YouTube will notify you a few minutes before the show goes LIVE. If for any reason it doesn’t work, I’ll try again around 6pm. I think both of those are good hours to livestream, so if today doesn’t go smoothly, I’ll try again tomorrow and each day thereafter. Deal?
I’m working through my self assessed peeved energy. And I know that’s what caused me to wake up at 1:30am last night due to a nightmare. (I dreamt I got hacked and lost all the money in my accounts!) Ugh! Nightmares can be terrifying! I’ve simply had so much going on with the need to rehab my body–okay, thankfully only a few parts, and Amazon printing issues with the 600+ page paperback. The YouTube copyright issues. Even the art cast not turning out the way I’d worked so hard on to make my first attempt at that be pretty! Why did I have such high expectations? Whew! See? I’m working my Integrating the Spirals process, so I can let this “peeved-ness” go!

Okay, I’m back with more fun mugs, if for no other reason than to get my spirits up after that debacle of an art class last night! Ha! I made a little video of it, so you can laugh! I’m laughing now… really! I don’t know why I made such a big deal within my own head about it last night. I think I was depressed. I could have pivoted more quickly but because I am now in “protection” mode regarding my back/shoulder/nerve down my arm, I am sensitive about all that rolling out of the clay, and how it COULD set my arm/shoulder back. Now, today it was only my back that was sore, thankfully! Imagine, being thankful for a sore back?!? I must be nuts.
My sweet friend Linda (over at: https://creativeartworksblog.com ), loves fun mugs–so I found these to share, especially because she shares fun mug images over on her blog.
As for last night, I did have a good time with my daughter. True, we didn’t talk very much. Nor did we get a photo together. It must bother me more than I thought, that thing about not getting a photo together. Her boss, the art studio owner even came around and asked/took pictures of other participants. But I guess because I was doing art and trying to guard against overdoing it, I didn’t think to stop and say, YES (in order to get a photo of my daughter and me)! Ugh.
It feels like I sabotage myself sometimes. Duh. Ya think? (Keep scrolling to get to the video.)

Yes, I had to do multiple livestreams on that first day, and I explain why at the beginning of each. Richard wants me to delete a couple of them but I don’t want to lose even 2 views! Ha!
I posted our second show yesterday and didn’t livestream it because of what happened at the end of the last livestream on 3-14-2026. Ugh. I know copyright protections are in place to protect us, but it’s OUR original music and YouTube didn’t even tell me what the issue was! I didn’t know they’d stop a livestream! And yes, they did send me an email for the FIVE copyright issues on the second show, but they still let the video play (isn’t that weird? Almost like they KNOW we own the copyright, but they’re showing they are doing their due diligence–or something). Ugh ((I think I’m just peeved a bit about everything right now. Amazon with the book printing. YouTube with the copyright stuff. My art cast not turning out properly. And just before writing this, my DAR Zoom never happened because they got the date wrong on it, even though I notified them ASAP that the date was wrong when they sent the email invite! I don’t know. Maybe it’s me. I screw up too. I gotta chill out.))

I’m sharing some fun mug art that my brother-in-law created (he’s an extremely talented digital artist, specializing in 3D graphics though, after writing the second blog article on this and sharing it with said, brother-in-law, he did say he created these with AI. I am sharing these over a couple of posts, as he sent my husband and I a good many of these artist renderings.
My good friend Linda (over at: https://creativeartworksblog.com ), loves fun mugs–and shares some on her blog that she finds on Etsy. So, I remembered I had all of these images from Tony (my brother-in-law) and I told her I’d share them. So, Linda, these are for YOU! Of course, everyone else is welcome to take a look as well. (And please comment if you like them to give Tony some love.)
I am also sharing these because I have to admit, my brother-in-law have not always seen “eye to eye.” But since I have come back to Christ, I will say, I do have more in common with him. And that’s good! It’s good to be able to understand one another, and not let our ego (like I probably did) get in the way. I often say, “I’m only human” and that “Nobody’s perfect.” (And yes, that’s my humble admission that I am far from perfect.)

I think Tony did an exceptional job on the following 3D graphic art renderings and wish we could get at least some of them made, either out of clay or 3D printing material. Wouldn’t that be cool?

Our son-in-law mentioned live-streaming (on YouTube) to us the other day and I had a brainstorm of an idea! I had not known how to do it, but he does it for his gaming channel and explained it to me… so now, and because Richard had recently did some audio compilations (we had no plans to “do” anything with them), we are thrilled to announce our new YouTube channel specifically for showcasing his original songs!

I’m sharing two more sketches my soul-sister, artist, and connected friend, Linda Lewis of Thailand (previously from Arkansas) has shared on her blog. Linda and I continue to uncover more ways in which, We Are All Connected. And sometimes it’s almost scary how many levels and ways we DO connect! I will continue to share sketches every so often of the ones that I enjoy drawing and coloring, as Linda is always encouraging me to find the JOY in each and every artistic endeavor I take on. Thank you sooo much, Linda!
See Linda’s painted sketches on her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com – as I read Linda’s articles about her daily life, her visits with her dear husband (who’s in a nursing home), and their son, who’s been so brave and steady in the face of the changes his parents have had during this last year or so–taking on the task of moving them from Arkansas to Thailand and all the minutiae of paperwork, organization, and care that has went into that! I honestly believe he’s provided a herculean effort that most wouldn’t even consider much less accomplish with so much love and compassion that I’m taking a big breath just to imagine!
I want to honor our connections on this lovely Mother’s Day. It could be any day though. Because after reading four exceptional articles from The Realist Juggernaut this morning, I am finding that honoring our connections (both current and past from our lineage and family ties), is what’s most important in life! Thank you, John, for these articulate and deeply profound posts that certainly, I will be reading again tonight and sitting with for a long time. I hope others will find them validating and valuable as well:

Health update
The naturopathic doctor used myofascial release and other soft tissue releases to continue working on my left foot, knee, and hips. I’m getting a bit more range of motion when attempting to lift my big toe, but we’re not there yet. I wonder, but hope, I’ll get full use of it again. I’m in no pain with it, so there’s that. It is numb on the inner half of big and second toe. But the sciatica is nearly gone in my back, thus I cannot complain. I have not resumed dancing yet, though I plan to soon!
Continued Forward Motion
I’ve been busy getting ready for Gina’s conference. I’ve done everything on the checklist for her, but I am continuing to refine and practice my keynote speech. I’ve also been building connections with the other guests she’s had on her podcast and previous conference, as well as the other guests on this upcoming June conference. Be sure to follow Gina’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@GinaVirginiaCasella
We’ve been watching the three Lord of the Rings films and now, the three Hobbit movies. I must say, my husband and I stay entertained! And I’m nearly complete on reading Russell Brand’s new book and I’ll review it in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned!
Continued prayers for a Facebook acquaintance (her sister, sister’s husband, and niece were in a head on car crash). The crash killed the unobservant driver. Her sister is an organ donor and being transferred to another hospital to keep oxygen flowing to her body–it’s been a traumatic last few days as she’s asked her readers to pray for a miracle, but now, it seems as she’s found some peace in knowing her sister’s organs will aid 8 other people to live more fully. She’d been angry at the hospital at first for not following the family’s wishes–they did NOT want the brain test to see if she was brain inactive. And you know me, I do not give up hope for anyone until we’re in the ground. She’s now simply asking people to stay more present with family and friends. And aware while driving. I agree. None of us know when our end will come.
Also, continued loving vibes and prayers to our author friend and blogger pal, Michael and his family in the UK (https://peacefulrampage.wordpress.com), as his half sister is recuperating from an incident in Idaho. We know physical distance makes things more difficult.
Integrating the Spirals – JIGGLE WIGGLE
In my YouTube channel, I encourage those “over 50” to:

Become more aware of our thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease
Loosen up and move our bodies (we’re stuck in our heads also due to our “Programming” and physically unhealthy)
And become strong and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, and body.

I’m continuing to play and sketch per my soulie sister type friend, Linda Lewis from Arkansas, who now lives in Thailand–she’s a lifelong artist. And we connect on many levels. So, I’m sharing two sketches I did, following her painted sketches as models.
See Linda’s painted sketches on her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com – Each of her blog articles that I used as a model are included below the images:
Per my husband’s suggestion, I used dual-tip brush markers to fine line some details and color in the darker portions. I began the sketch and colored in using oil pastels, so I changed up my process a bit. I think it worked better. Linda suggested I sketch with a pencil and use an eraser as needed. I may do that soon, as I goofed on the second sketch and had I drawn it with a pencil first, for sure I would have fixed that elbow! Ha! But I’m not aiming for Perfection, so there’s that.

Happy Spring! We’re enjoying one of our first 60+ degree days here in New England (New Hampshire, USA). And it’s been sunny too! We had some warm days before this but then they were rainy days. Ugh.
Classes
I did a two-day online class with Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi this week on AI. I learned a couple things but mostly, it was a waste of time. I did a lot of chatting during the presentations though (they streamed it with canned applause, which I don’t like), but when they got to the sales spiel, I turned it off. I went to try the first thing “animate this” on Google Gemini and it wanted to charge me $3.99 a month (for the first two months, then it would cost $7.99). No. There’s too many AI apps to choose from for me to pay anything of them–and hubby pays for ChatGPT so if I really need something that badly, he’ll use that to create it for me. I just wanted to test what I’d learned and wanted to animate my book cover to see what it would do. I wasn’t going to pay Google (of all companies) to test the new prompt. Ugh.
I then also took a five-day online class with Dr. Sue Mortimer. She sort of does what I do in Integrating the Spirals, and so it was neat to get a new fresh take on the whole breath work thing. And she is an excellent presenter. I simply have my hands into too many things to sign-up and pay for anything right now. Thus, I took these free classes to sort of see how I align with them. I liked Dr. Sue, but I am sitting with a couple of things she said as I wouldn’t present “the soul” the same way she does. And that’s okay. Just different. Dr. Sue has great things to say to us, heady people. And as you know, and as many of you are too, when one is an analyst, writer, researcher, philosopher, and/or intellectual, we sit a LOT! And she did a good job of explaining how we need to bring our breath INTO our bodies (using central channel breathing). Again, her presentations were worthwhile. I’m thankful for the ripples she puts out into our world!
As for Tony Robbins though, I’m thankful he feeds so many people. But I think he’s off my radar now. I put some opinion on Facebook. I don’t know if I should post it here. But let’s just say, bottom line, he’s a trans-humanist. And I am NOT. I do not want nano bots injected into my body. He’s for that. You may wonder why he brought that kind of thing up while talking with a worldwide audience of something like 800k people, yeah, when it was an AI class. I wondered that too. It didn’t leave me with a good feeling. Sorry, Tony!
Health update
I’m done with the chiropractor, at least for now. The naturopathic doctor has helped me immensely just from ONE visit! I really must leave Dr. Paterson a Googe review because I am still amazed at how much better I feel, again, after just my first visit. I go back to him in a little over a week. He did something called myofascial and positional release (I think). At least I know he did myofascial release and then I looked up the last two words. He’s also a DOM, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and I’d thought he might use acupuncture on my left foot, but no, at least not yet. He was much more gentle than the chiropractor too, so there’s that. It’s almost like he must work on people who have rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia or such and can do so much good, even using a gentle approach.
I have movement in my two toes (big toe and second toe), though the inner portion/side of each is still numb–but there’s no pain–on the left foot now (I estimate about 40% improvement), and the sciatica pain has reduced about 75%! Plus, I ran out of nerve tonic and I noticed I don’t have nerve pain from the shoulder situation anymore. YAY! I plan on resuming dancing soon, maybe even, (gasp!), tomorrow!
In Progress
I’m also in the process of putting together a keynote speech for new friend, Gina Virginia Casella’s upcoming conference. I’m thrilled to do it and it’s been fun thinking of ways to explain Interconnectedness along with introducing my new book.
The podcast conversation we recorded the other day should be Live soon–I’ll keep you all posted. And I enjoyed the gemstone reading Gina gave me. You can see examples of how she does those, as well as find the last conference recordings at: https://buymeacoffee.com/ginavirginiacasella/
We finished the 8 Harry Potter movies and I’m drafting a review of these with a great title that just dropped into my head last night. I should have it out tomorrow.
As I said, I have my hands in a lot of things right now. Ha! Apologies as always for my lateness in responding to your comments. I do love reading your comments though!
I’m still reading Russell’s book and others, the new Tarot book came in and I’ve already been taking a look at it.
And let’s continue sending prayers and loving vibes to our author friend and blogger pal, Michael and his family in the UK (https://peacefulrampage.wordpress.com), as his half sister is recuperating from an incident and she lives far from him. I sure know that feeling when we lived so far from my daughter during that time in 2022 when my husband had a stroke. Distance makes things harder when there’s serious injury or illness within a family.

Yours in consciousness-expansion as we evolve and revolve during our mystical awakening. All while doing-my-egoless-best, to take you on a limitless, spiraling thought ride to better health, through doing more with ease, to help us sustain the JOY in our lives! (With lots of Gratitude throughout.)

About us
My husband is an award-winning illustrator, plus he’s a seasoned guitarist, bass player, and songwriter (with over 1,000 original songs). You can view some of his artwork and listen to many of his songs at: https://www.youtube.com/user/richardmurrey
Here’s an older video on Vimeo of us performing back when we lived in an RV on an off grid plot of land in northeastern Florida: https://vimeo.com/416711742?ref=fb-share
My award-winning artist husband suggested I use one of our dual-tip brush markers to do my sketch and then color in with the oil pastels, so this is the sketch project I worked on the other day for Easter. I am still learning so, be kind in your comments. My sketch is the second image that follows, Linda’s is the first (because it was the image I used as my model).
My chiropractor said the numbness of the inner parts of two of my toes was due to the Extensor Hallucis Longus tendon. I have been able to get a bit of flex upward out of the toes since daily fascia blasting, massaging them and the foot with essential oil (Balance from DoTerra), as well as performing acupressure and red light therapy on it, AND using the tuning forks on it nightly before bed. I continue doing heel raises (sometimes called, toe raises or ankle raises), which I believe are helping too!
If you’re very curious, I found this link from the Mayo Clinic about the condition, but since I have no pain, only numbness and inability to lift those two toes, I’d say, thankfully, I must have a very mild case of it: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/23126-extensor-tendinitis
The pain in my shoulder and down my arm has subsided again, thankfully! And yes, I had to take the herbal tincture again. But also, I found that my Therasage red light heating pad also has a TENS option and I had not ever tried that before. So, this last week, I’ve been using that! Wow! It really feels good and eliminates the sciatica pain for at least an hour or two afterwards. I can’t believe I didn’t try it for my shoulder! Just goes to show we can have solutions right at our fingertips and overlook them for one reason or another!
All of this DIY health stuff is only one example of the philosophy I teach and share in Integrating the Spirals. My motto is “Use what you have and what you know, and integrate into your daily routine in any way, preferably the easiest way possible.” Ironically, had I been talking about that Therasage pad more often, even in a Zoom session, I might have thought about trying the TENS option on it months ago! Alas, I am a student of my own philosophy for sure!
I offer Zoom sessions to talk through situations like this and give you ideas on when/how to integrate the physical tools and techniques, even software tools, for whatever challenges you’re facing–if you’re interested and open to it. Let me know in the comments.
