Considering how the soul may reside in or out of the body (science has yet to prove where consciousness resides), yet connected to one’s spirit, God, Omniscience, and so forth, this category may include those, with a focus on the soul portion of one’s BEing.
Raising consciousness – that darkness is density. While it is hard to look at the inhumanity that occurs, I know it’s important to not bury our heads in the sand and ignore. Dark and heavy subjects are so difficult to write! I choose to look on the positive things in life, but I know there is a dark side (lower dense vibrations), and because of that, I strive to help others by raising our vibrations and expanding consciousness. I do this by offering what I write, from listening to and reading what others write, and offering prayers (full of belief that ALL really is well), and by emitting unconditional love, and compassion whenever possible.
Shamanism
I have been one of those people (in an attempt to keep my vibration high), that ignores drama and tragedy—at least that’s my desire (admittedly, not always possible).
Now, as of Feb. 29th of this year, I have been drawn to the Shamanic path that includes observing the dark, as well as the light. Previous article about this here.
I don’t know, of course, where my shamanic path will lead, but as long as it enables me to expand my ability to help others and offer the most compassion I can muster, I feel that it will be a good pursuit. ❤️🦋🌀🙏
Yes, (winking)… Shamans take that “Rise” shit literally.
Shamans take that “Rise” shit literally.
Observing density
I wish we could ALL drop the word “Dark” and replace it with the word, “Dense.” Density of vibration (lower vibration) is typically what is being referred to when someone is talking about a painful topic.
When one describes a color as dark, that really has to do with color saturation, or the absence of light. But too often people infer that when anything is dark, it’s wrong, bad, sinful, painful, and so on.
I observe the same color, in low light, and the color itself doesn’t change, only my perception of the color changes.
Expansive (and unifying) Reminders
“Don’t place religion above God.” (I don’t know why any of us insist on knowing what we know or being “right” about anything, when God only knows.)
Sisterly Tapestry
As a peacemaker, and a Spiral Sister,
Consciousness, as a topic and in all of its aspects, beckons me to study it further, not out of mere curiosity as much as out of this fantastical question of “where do I stop and you begin?” –and because of my mother, aunt, and grandmother all suffered with Alzheimer’s dis-ease. I am a sleuth of sorts, always and in ALL ways forward-thinking to try and solve the riddle of why we’re here.

In Closing
About the word. “Love” – you may love someone, (unconditional), or “like,” lust, or infatuation, which many use the word love instead, though it really isn’t love.
Love is patient. Love is kind. All the time, not just when it’s convenient.
Love is caring. Love is being supportive and having another’s back (not back biting).
Love doesn’t require anything. ❤️🦋🌀🙏
The Universe is always (ALL ways) listening!Synchronicity: when you think or do something and someone else shows up in your experience saying or doing the same. Or when you think of someone and within minutes they call you.

❤️🦋🌀I have been reminded (by my body and my experiences this year), that as I write the words the Universe presents multiple ways to help each of us integrate the concepts represented by the words we write.
Moment by moment, integrate.
An example of this was when I designed my t-shirts, mugs, and more with the words “Minding my Energy” (which, is all about managing our energy), and a few short months later, I was faced with literally managing my own electrical energy, as well as re-energizing my body through diet and exercise!
I’ve been presented (sometimes daily) with quite interesting and challenging ways to actually manage my energy! And then, it IS my choice (and has been), to laugh WITH the Universe, or struggle. ❤️🤣😘
We are always tuning
Integrating mind and body involves getting your thoughts, intentions, priorities, physical activity, and reactions to external factors—ALL in BALANCE.
Yin yang observations and why we seek Balance.
We achieve and live in a state of whole health, as we embody balance. Our work, if there is any, is to always tune in to balance. ☯️
Spirit & Soul
Many books have been written about integrating our Spirit and Soul, and practices eons old such as Qigong and Yoga exist to guide us in integrating our breath (and Spirit) with our physical bodies.
My philosophy is this: breathing incorporates and integrates Spirit to Soul (think oxygenation of the blood).
All we need to do is, DO the daily, consistent practice. Lather, rinse, repeat. Ah, the spiral of tension and release. Action and rest. Charge and restore. ❤️😉
If you need help with the consistency part, there are many groups and coaches available—there are even apps! Learn, do, and stay accountable. (I offer a free Messenger “Move your body” group. Write a comment below or find me on Facebook to be added.
NOTE: Let me know if you comment, if you want me to keep your comment hidden, so others won’t see it.)
I have been participating in a weight loss program sponsored by my health insurance company (Omada), for 15 weeks. More about that soon in another post.
It involves tracking and monitoring key health metrics daily—including weighing in.
Watching the number on that scale each morning has been both a blessing and a curse. It’s biofeedback and psychology working at its best, whether I like it or not. Ha!
I am now, using the challenges I face (like gaining those couple of pounds last week), to push myself to learn more.
I watched (and later connected with) a menopause doctor, learned some more acupressure points (that really seemed to help last night!), and started my Activ5 workouts while watching DVDs, that I think are going to be real game changers for me!
I feel, mind, body, and soul that I am on a healthy path, now, to release the excess weight on my middle aged body. I am so excited! In fact, I actually released 1 pound and 1 ounce, overnight! (I have let go of 10 pounds in 15 weeks, and this includes days of losing, gaining, and plateau weeks.)
Body – Living environment
Most of my followers know that my husband (who is 11.5 years older than me), moved to an off grid living arrangement at the end of February. And then COVID hit. We didn’t have any time to adjust to our new address, until we were on lockdown (especially him, because he’s over 65).
I haven’t written much about the changes (yes, challenges), we faced because I do my best to stay focused on the positive I desire, silver linings, and all of that. Suffice to say, every single day we were “managing our energy,” personal energy, electric from the sun/generator (we had two generators die, and a tropical storm hide the sun from our solar panels, etc.), and consider every single use of energy consumption (right down to learning how to live without hot water, and store only so much in a dorm sized fridge)! Off grid living is NOT for the faint of heart.
We’ve figured most of it out now, some 9 months later, but we are still integrating the thoughts and new mental exercises to live this lifestyle in gratitude.
Body – Writing it out
Words are a kind of tuning instrument for me.
You see, everything is energy. And life exists (manifests) along a spectrum of energy.
A body is just a dense collection of energy at one point on the spectrum (and why it is visible), and it reverberates with and emits emotional energy (invisible) according to what is near it. It’s reactionary!
Think of a guitar string. If the guitar string is not plucked, there is no reaction. Thus, there is no sound. When plucked, the string makes sounds in alignment with it’s tuning—high or low.
You are like the guitar string that has the ability in every moment to choose how you are tuned, and whether you will respond to the plucking!
Choosing how to respond to the plucking, takes mental energy. And mental energy is far less dense and changes moment by moment, faster than the speed of light! So, why does it seem to weigh us down? (Stress seems to occur when we “carry” the “weight of the world” around on our shoulders (yet, it’s mere thoughts in our heads)!
An example of writing it out as I prepare for a talk
In closing
I believe the more we search for answers and try a variety of holistic methods, the more deep and integrated our healing. And the healthier overall, we become. (I wrote a book a couple years ago about how I reversed “lifelong” asthma.)
My hope is that you ALL will come to this deep and profound awareness of how much the Universe desires to integrate with you too!
As I prepare a course on integrating where we joyfully learn and practice ways to embody our light, or lighten our bodies, and ride the energy spiral to balance, (ah, don’t you LOVE the journey of a work in progress?), I’ll give you a peek… let me know if this resonates with you:
Potential new course topics. Organizing my thoughts and teachings. ❤️😉

A beautiful soul-reaching, inspiring, reverent, vulnerable, and enlightening read!
What Dreams Have Come book cover
What Dreams Have Come is an excellent book! I read it within 24 hours, as it is highly engaging, elegantly, and lovingly written!
Intimately personal
Film producer, co-founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and author, Stephen Simon, with his beloved wife Lauren (who gently crossed over to the Grand Beyond in her sleep), provides us ALL the opportunity to gain a sense of the “Other Side,” while welcoming us into their personal lives (by sharing the synchronicities of how they met, including family photos, and intricate details).
Over the years of seeing Stephen host the monthly DVD Spiritual Cinema Circle, we felt we had gotten to know him, personally. And he would often speak of Lauren and all the work she did for the Circle. We also felt Connected to Stephen and Lauren through their posts on Facebook. But never did I feel as privy to their innermost thoughts as I have sensed from reading this book. If eyes are the windows to the soul, then books such as these are doors to the heart.
Intertwining honor and love
Stephen and Lauren lovingly crafted a book rich in story that graciously includes the ways they honored and cared for each other (and continue to), as well as demonstrate the ways in which they highly value inclusivity (by bringing us in and honoring their family, neighbors and friends—including my favorite spiritual author).
Emotionallystirring
I cried, laughed, and yes, had jaw-drop moments while reading, What Dreams Have Come. I resonated with much of Stephen and Lauren’s candor and playfulness. (And not to give anything away, but my husband and I often recite our favorite movie lines to each other too!)
There were the touching moments of serendipity and synchronicity built into the way Stephen and Lauren met, and noted all the way through their marriage. The way they shared their pain and triumphs were inspiring to me.
I also really loved the end of the book—totally thrilling! And of course, this is not the end of a love and life together for the Simons.
UPDATE: Please listen to Stephen Simon’s interview with Allison Dubois: Interview
In summary
This book is soul-reaching, and deeply inspiring. It is reverent, vulnerable, and enlightening. I’m in awe of what Love can do—in ALL ways.

For many of us, WE wouldn’t even pose this question. And yes, I do draw a distinction between “real” and “exists,” such as if I were to ask, “Does God exist?”—a similar, yet different question.
WE undeniably KNOW God is—but, is the isness real (as in physical matter), or spirit?
Those who know God is Real don’t just believe, but came to this knowing through experiencing God, via our senses, by way of esoteric phenomena that we can only attribute to God.
I believe atheists and doubters have asked either or both questions at some point in their lives, because everyone experiences some things that they can’t explain.
I’m not here to change an unbelievers mind, but I would like to present a slice of my reasoning for believing the answer to both questions is YES.
Defining Reality
Any good survey starts by providing definitions. So, let’s examine my previous articles to provide my thoughts on the definition of “Reality.”
And as interesting as it is to attempt to define Reality it is even more thrilling to ponder a definition of the undefinable enigma, God.
God, Omniscience
I have been sharing my innermost thoughts about God, Omniscience, for several years (since my first audible experience in 2005). Links to my previous articles follow:
In the article, Research Is Shedding New Light on Hearing Voices, the author writes that William James, who established the first experimental psychology laboratory in America at Harvard, concluded:
God is real in the reality of the impacts on those open to the possibility. Considering whether or not to choose such openness, James decided that it is more beneficial to act as if there is a transcendent that gives an ultimate meaning to life.
William James, Philosopher and Psychologist—Father of American psychology.
Granted, not all believers in God claim to have heard God’s voice, such as Neale Donald Walsch, author of the series of Conversations with God books. Nevertheless, most believers do credit God with healings and a variety of phenomenon (such as synchronicities) that cannot otherwise be explained.
My friend and fellow spiritual author, Elliott Eli Jackson also writes of conversations with God in his series of The Sapiential Discourses books.
Sacred Sites
This is a huge topic, and one that I have written about before, so I won’t go into it all again, except to provide a list to my previous articles and say that I continue to reap energetic benefits from the time I spent at Newgrange in County Meath, Glendalough, Ireland, Stonehenge in England, and multiple sites in Scotland, especially on the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel and castle, Isle of Skye, and the Faerie Glen.
As you may recall, I wrote an article, https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/04/19/a-surreal-vision-of-soul-departing/ after my dad died (crossed over to the Grand Beyond), which was quite the profound experience. That surreal experience, as well as others regarding my still born sister, Christina (link in the section: Metaphysical Experiences), lend to my knowing of Life After Death, and add to my beliefs of Omniscience (my name for the unknowable Dao, or God).
Friend, film producer, co-founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and author, Stephen Simon has now, published a book with his beloved wife Lauren (who crossed over to the Grand Beyond in her sleep). I am so thrilled their book, What Dreams Have Come: Loving Through The Veil, is available on Amazon.
Update: The Kindle version is available! I have read it and have a book review in process! Love it!

Also from the same Psychology Today article,
Studies with non-clinical populations have suggested that people are especially likely to hear hallucinatory voices during times of loss or bereavement. In one study, 30% reported hearing the voice of their deceased loved one within the first month of their death, and 6% still heard them a year later. In another study, 13% of persons heard the voice of their deceased spouse, including some who had been widowed up to 40 years prior to being interviewed.
To date, thanks to the metaphysical experiences I’ve had, I have learned that we’re never alone. This knowing gives me eternal peace. The following articles offer a glimpse of the experiences I’ve had:
Because I just can’t put all my trust and faith in any ONE person, concept, or teaching anymore, I have turned towards Spirit to lead and guide me.
I consider all I have learned up to this point in my life, as guideposts. Like training wheels help a child learn to ride a bicycle with proficiency and under self locomotion, that is how I view all religious instruction. Good for a time, but once you’re strong and steady in your knowing, and you have fully integrated Spirit, God, Source, Divine Essence, live the Dao, accepted the garment of the Christ, etc. you’re walking your path.
In closing, for now: ALL of this leads me to more study and live more in tune with nature, as I seeOmniscienceEVERYWHERE. I am strong and steady in my walk. ❤️🦋🌀

For as long as I can remember my mom bit her nails. And I always wondered why. She used to tell me it was “just a habit.”
My mother was a woman of strong faith, having been raised in a devoutly Christian home. She was also a deep thinker, earnest student, and hard worker. Mom’s parents never argued in front of their children either. So, what caused my mom to feel inferior (which can be a cause for such types of habits)?
As an aside: I picked up the habit from my mom and bit my nails for over 20 years. I had low self esteem as a teen, and often thought I had an inferiority complex!
Asking the question
Now, in my fifties, one morning (three years after my mom’s death), I sat in meditation and silently asked, “Mom, why did you bite your nails?”
The answer: “It was a way of hiding.”
And I got an image of how one hides a smile behind a hand, and when a man twists his mustache hair. I never had the thought before that one can hide behind their hand while biting one’s fingernails.
Hmmm, hiding? Hiding from what? I quickly retorted in thought.
Almost as soon as the first answer came, the second came. Hiding her soul.
How does one hide their soul?
Then, I was on a quest.
Why and how do we hide our soul? And is this a fight with our inner-being?
Are we reserved in behavior because we are afraid to let our innermost thoughts out?
Do we feel we will be judged?
Why would my mom have felt she would be judged? As especially in her youth, when presumably her nail biting started, she would have had no reason to fear judgment.
But, my mom was painfully shy. Always preferring to stay in the background. My mom preferred solitude to group gatherings—unless the gathering was in church (but even there, she didn’t like the spotlight).
Do we question our power?
One of the only times I saw my mom speak publicly, was when the church congregation was asked to share an individual testimony (of God showed up or intervened in their life).
I would listen to my mom’s personal testimony with awe, each and every time. And I had often wished my dad could have been there, at the prayer meeting, to hear mom’s words. Mom spoke with a gentle tone, but at the same time, a commanding authority. To me, this meant mom was speaking from a profound knowing. From a place of truth.
Are we afraid we can’t live up to the expectation of our soul?
As I searched the Internet on the subject of our soul, I found a series of quotes by author, Parker J. Palm. One of his quotes that caught my attention follows:
Parker J. Palm quote
As soon as I read Parkers quote, I realized he had also touched on the soul phrase given to me in the early 2000s that set me on my Awakening journey. The phrase, which became my mantra, We Are All Connected.
In summary
So far, the way I commune with my soul, and share what I find, (that aligns with the lessons I have learned by sitting with these questions), is the way I speak and share about the mantra, We Are All Connected. We Are Not Alone. And that we are more powerful than we can imagine.
Community means never losing the awareness that We Are All Connected.
Whether we feel less than, insecure, are shy, fearful, or that we may not express our truth in a clear way, we CAN speak and share from our soul, from our innermost truth. We simply need a courageous push or willingness to do so.
Perhaps we are old souls. But that is a question for another meditation. OM
About me
I have a passion for WORDS and Connecting people. In particular, I love speaking and writing about spiritual and consciousness raising topics, holistic wellness and simple healthy living. I am empathic, intuitive, compassionate, and kind, with a keen and unified wisdom about life.
I’m an Amazon bestselling author of two co-authored books: “Transform Your Life Book 2 Inspirational Stories and Expert Advice” and “Energy of Receiving”, available on Amazon. Plus, I’ve written a health book (in the making for 13 years), Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life, that’s available here.
Observations about the author
Conversations surrounding emotional balance, moral ambiguities, and deep spiritual truths (such as We Are All Connected, and Put Your Hands Together When You Pray), are what Sheila is most passionate about. She feels a profound empathic Connection with people and what they’re going through by merely sharing her own truth, by speaking freely about her personal struggles and the challenges she continues to overcome. Sheila strives to ease lonelines, help those exiting toxic relationships, and to remind us all that we are stronger than we think we are, and that Everything Resolves to Gratitude in the end.

When my mother passed away, or as I believe, crossed over to the other side Beyond The Veil, I felt that I needed to find something of hers to hold, to sort of self soothe or comfort myself.
I remembered mom had given me a teal color gemstone pendant many years before. And I sought to find it.
I looked for the pendant several times. We live in an RV, so it isn’t like there are that many places where it could have been stored. I searched through all of my jewelry. But, I couldn’t find it. Maybe the thought to look for it was something put in my mind to keep me busy. I don’t know.
Instead of finding the pendant, I found my mom’s wrist watch and a very old pocket watch, which I think had belonged to my maternal grandfather.
Mom’s wristwatch and grandfather’s pocket watch. Also, a photo of my my aunt and my mom when they were very young.
When I brought both watches from the bedroom to the living room and sat down, the thought dropped into my mind that mom was telling me something: It was time. And that I was given both watches in case only finding one wouldn’t get the message across—and she then impressed upon me something only she could, “because you can be thick headed.”
Understanding this message from my mom, made me laugh a little and really lift the sadness I was feeling about her death.
My mother died in West Virginia. A state she had always loved. It took some time for us to travel from our Florida home to where my parents had been camping in their motorhome.
As soon as I pulled the car into the driveway in West Virginia, my dad greeted my husband and I and handed me the thin gold chain my mom had worn everyday for the last several years of her life. We hugged. And cried. And my papa was not a man to show tears.
Gold chain
I wear the gold chain daily that my papa handed to me when my husband and I arrived in West Virginia. And yes, I eventually found the teal pendant that my mom had given me. It had been in my jewelry box all along! But it had been wrapped up in a tangle of smaller chains and until I took the time to unravel the chains, I couldn’t see it. When I discovered the pendant, I was surprised and was certain this was another lesson from my mother.
Time with dad
While we were in West Virginia, my dad and I walked, talked, and appreciated ALL.
While walking through a nearby campground, that a long time friend of dad’s had owned, Papa told me about all the different kinds of trees there, which thrilled me, as I didn’t know dad knew all of the names of the trees in that area.
I told dad about the how I’d found the watches and asked if he knew who the pocket watch had belonged to, and he wasn’t sure. But dad also wore a wristwatch and always had. I never looked at the kind of watch dad was wearing.
Awhile later, papa found another one of mom’s wristwatches and gave it to me. It was one that the face was in a heart shape and had little footprints 👣 inside. It symbolized the story of “footprints in the sand.” And I recalled mom wearing that watch for many years.
All four watches
21 months after my mom passed away, I received dad’s personal effects from the funeral home, and low and behold, dad’s watch had a blue face (when the light shines on the face the blue looks different). Looking at dad’s watch, brings my mind right back to the story I wrote as, That Little Blue Dot. I instantly tune to the knowing that, mom, dad, and my unborn siblings (in particular, Christina), are ALL together.
While driving the little car I inherited from dad and mom, I placed each of their watches on the shifter to always keep them with me, and to honor them.
I recall sitting in dad and mom’s little Hyundai (about a year later), and thinking how mom had always wanted to give me a car. She talked about that often. Mom had not wanted me to have to work at age fifteen to buy a car, or make so many car payments over the years.
So, in one clear, mystic moment, I said, “Thank you.” Thank you mama and papa for leaving me your little car. Thank you for Everything.
Growth transcends Time
I observe only growth, and note how each item of Omnipotent God’s creation grows at differing rates of speed, be it bird 🐦, bee 🐝, or me. Growth transcends Time.
Time with mom
I share spiritual moments with my mama still. When my heart is open. When I am washing pots and pans she gave me years before she died. When we use the stoneware she gave me. When I drink from the crystal glasses she left behind.
My heart is full. We are all connected. We are all one. Gratitude envelopes me. I resonate with ALL of this knowing. Eternal. No time. Everything happens as it should, and mostly for reasons that mostly only later dawn. ❤️🦋🌀🙏☀️💦🌱☮️

Newgrange: Inside the chamber during the Winter Solstice
I won a place for myself and a guest, (out of 30,861 lottery applications drawn by the local children from three different schools), to go inside the Newgrange monument burial chamber, at Bru Na Boinne, County Meath Ireland for the Winter Solstice sunrise on Dec. 18th, 2019.
And though the sun’s rays did not shine at sunrise the morning we were there, it was still a magnificent and surreal time to be in the chamber with a select few for the experience.
It was also another string of events that were tied to the date of the 18th, which held significant meaning for me. (I call those happenings, winks from my dad.)
A littlebackground
We had first visited Knowth and Newgrange in July 2019, while on our Sacred Celtic Journey with Patricia McGivern—and I had felt palpable energy at Knowth, and been utterly fascinated by Newgrange. See my previous articles regarding that amazing trip:
Going inside the Newgrange chamber was such an incredible experience. This was my second time inside during the same year—and at such a special time of the year. I really felt as though I was walking into the mystic.
Unlocking mysteries at Newgrange during Winter Solstice.
The mysteries began to unfold for me, as soon as I got on the bus in the wee hours of December 18th, 2019.
I was so excited and thrilled to be back in Ireland, and to be one of the 10 Newgrange chamber Winter Solstice lottery winners who would go inside the chamber that morning!
Though our friends told me of the weather forecast (of clouds and rain), I didn’t want to believe it! I had sooo hoped to be mesmerized by the sunlight that was said could light the entire inner chamber at sunrise on the Winter Solstice!
As we drove from Dublin through the night, out to the sacred site (we had to arrive early in the morning predawn), there was a calm and peace overtaking me. I was there, along for the ride, and whatever the weather would do, was none of my business. Whatever happened, I trusted it would be for my conscious expansion.
Bundled up for the cold and wet weather outside the Newgrange chamber.
Our small group of 20 people (10 lottery winners plus a guest each), toured the brand new visitors center and rode a tram out to the monument. We walked through a light mist of rain from the tram stop to the chamber. All before dawn. All hopeful to witness something none of us had seen before—the Winter Solstice sunrise into a stone age chamber.
Since my husband did not care to go inside the neolithic chamber, we had invited friends to go with us. One of them went into the chamber with me, while the other waited outside. My hubby stayed back at the hotel and slept in that morning.
Our small group before heading in. Note the dark clouds in the upper right.
Inside the chamber
Heading into the chamber. Thank goodness for house lights, as it was narrow and I had to duck in sections of the passageway in.
While we all waited patiently for the sunrise, someone played crystal bowls and chanted lightly.
I caught a quick picture of the crystal bowls later, after the lights were on.
I think because the sun didn’t shine for us that morning, the stewards of the site, granted us a few more minutes, so after the 20 exited, our friends got to go back inside (along with myself and our driver, Edel). And we ALL felt sooo privileged!
Picture of a special recessed area in the chamber. Looking toward the back and top.Picture of a special recessed area in the chamber. Looking towards the floor. The object on the floor is stone and shaped as a kind of slab.Another view of that area looking straight ahead. The stones were gigantic and the etchings on each were fascinating!
I spent several minutes inside the chamber soaking up the feeling of just BEing there. Though my feet were cold, I remember thinking it wasn’t as cold overall as I had thought it might be. But without the little pen light flashlights on, or the house lights, it is really pitch dark in the chamber. I had put my hand out in front of my face at one point in the dark, as we all waited for sunrise, and I couldn’t even see my hand!
One of the stones were carved into a huge basin or bowl! This is one of the professional marketing pictures the visitor center displays for how it looks inside the chamber during a Winter Solstice sunrise. This is what it looked like when they turned on house lights to simulate a bright sunrise for us.Pen light sunrise simulation. My favorite (and perhaps the most well known) of the carvings or etchings into the stone at the rear of the chamber. Note: It is the symbol on the pendant I bought there and have worn everyday since.
On the way out of the chamber the last time, I consciously chose to take my gloves off and touch the ancient stones and whisper, “Thank you” to them. I felt such a connection with those incredible stones.
Coming out of thechamber
Coming out of the chamber.
The majority of our group had walked back to the tram that moves people from the visitors center to the chamber site, so only a few of us remained. It was so delicious that we had more time inside the chamber and were able to really engage with the park staff and ask questions, take pictures (normally not allowed), and sing, chant, or meditate. Afterwards, we caught another tram back to the visitors center, which gave us even more time to visit!
You can see how bundled most of us were and that the ground was wet. This was at the entrance/exit of the chamber. One way in and out. Everyone has to duck at the entrance.
As for the sunrise, a cold weather front happened to be moving in just as the sun was about to rise. Go figure! We’d experienced beautiful weather all week in Dublin (cold but clear), but the day of our chamber visit, it chose to rain. It is what it is. And I gained insights.
Insights
Some of the inspiring messages that dropped into my mind were deeper “unlockings” (yes, my new word), of concepts that I’d been given previously, and others were new. See these examples:
Expanded quotes of mine.A release mantra (prayer or meditation) that I was given. ❤️🦋🌀
I had questioned myself (when Bru na Boinne visitor center had contacted me that I’d won the entry), about spending the time and money to go, since the sunrise only lasts for 17 minutes and is weather dependent, but I chose to go. And we did have an excellent time with our friends.
We got to learn so much more about Dublin on this trip. As well as, I had gotten to meet Edel, and hear some timeless stories (such as the one about my namesake, Sheela na gig), that we otherwise would not have known.
Christmas in Dublin
Me by the Christmas tree at the Trinity City hotel, Dublin Ireland.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Christmas time in Dublin was a beautiful treat too! We visited several places during our week there, sites we had not had the time to see in July.
We spent half a day at the Guinness factory, went to a botanical park, shopped (I bought Claddagh rings for my granddaughters), visited the Whiskey Museum Experience, went to the oldest pub for a dinner and musical storytelling evening, as well as laughed ourselves silly on a haunted bus tour that ended up at a pub and cemetery!
Richard and me at Guinness, Dublin Ireland.
Coming home
I returned to the USA with energy, enthusiasm, and enlightenment from my time at this sacred site.
With Tony you will experience the authentic Ireland, with storytelling and singing to boot! Tony’s sense of humor will delight you. Tony’s bus was so comfortable and provided all the needed amenities to make riding all day in it a pleasure.
We booked our December ride from Dublin to Newgrange with Tony, but through a twist of fate, he was unavailable at that time. However, because Tony is incredibly caring, he arranged for another driver and guide, Edel, to take us out to Newgrange for the Winter Solstice sunrise event.
And right from the get go (as we left our hotel), I felt a strong sense of connection with Edel. Edel told me deeply meaningful stories, as we rode out to Newgrange in the early morning of December 18th, that brought a tear to my eye more than once! I felt so supported by my family (all Beyond The Veil) and by the Universe.
My time at Newgrange and our entire week in Dublin was ALL pure magic.

There seems to be a lot of banter about this phrase, “100% efficacy” in regard to certain pharmaceutical drugs that could be prescribed and taken to treat the COVID-19 virus, which originated in Wuhan China, December 2019. But what does that phrase really mean?
Efficacy pertains to how effective a certain drug is based upon the dosage given during a controlled trial. However, the effectiveness of a drug varies widely based upon how people consume it.
Critical thinking
Check out the following article. (Click the link). Even if you simply read the Abstract and Background of the article, I think you will understand where I am going in regards to all of this.
The bottom line is that no pharmaceutical drug shows 100% efficacy or effectiveness. And yes, there is a difference. Also, many drugs that have undergone clinical trials (for multiple diseases and ills) showing some level of efficacy, were later pulled off the market AFTER people who took the drug died. Look at all the lawsuits!
No drug offers 100% efficacy.
Lawsuits and side effects
People seem to forget about all the lawsuits filed, where plaintiffs who suffered horrible effects, or died, won a sizable settlement for themselves (or their estate) after the government allowed a “medication” to be put on the market and administered by doctors.
And those pharmaceutical advertisements! It is one of the big reasons we quit watching television! I abSOULutely cannot stand the big pharma TV commercials with all their misinformation, hype, and very long list of side effects that typically always include DEATH!
Why this conclusion?
My whole book, (Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life) is over 200 pages and contains 10 years of research, personal accounts, and family and close friends anecdotal histories—if anyone is interested as to why I state the opinions I hold.
I do not wholly trust the CDC , FDA, or very many of those alphabet agencies (who supposedly exist to protect people), as they are all made up of fallible people—many following political and/or hidden agendas. I question everything. I use Pubmed for health research and read published and peer reviewed articles from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). And I read from a variety of sources to avoid bias.
I use a whole lot of holistic and alternative healing protocols and look at all the angles, so I do not become biased or fearful. I understand that the old, well-known aspirin company used to be good until they bought the M-word company. I’ll never take another aspirin, especially theirs. Also, aspirin is made from White Willow Bark, and it’s easier for me to take that when needed.
Personally, I think it is prudent to follow sensible measures, (sanitization and limiting contact seem sensible), and question everything that is pushed out to the masses (masses are mostly made up of sheep).
Use critical thinking where these things are concerned and follow your gut.
Lastly, please don’t buy into fear. The cells of your body are listening (feeling that in their environment), and that can being on more health ills than most people realize. Peace. Out. ❤️🦋🌀😀

Well, yes I know. This was a long awaited post for many of you! My apologies for putting this next to last on my list of our European trip articles to get done, but I hope worth the wait! And anyway, the first shall be last and the last shall be first.
I still have one more article of our arrival and first day in Ireland to post. So stay tuned! ❤️🦋🌀😉
Our Game of Thrones tour (from Dublin, Ireland June 29, 2019) went to northern Ireland, which seems to be a different country, as the monetary system changed to the British pound. Only a small sign marked the border along the highway as our tour bus drove us near Belfast.
Preparing for the trek
Prior to beginning our Sacred Celtic Journey, and as a bit of bait (nah, not really needed though, as my hubby had already decided to go to Europe with me), we arrived in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, June 28, 2019. This afforded us the luxury of having a free day to acclimate to the time difference and explore Dublin city centre before embarking on a full day Game of Thrones trek on Saturday.
We brought our good hiking boots, and dressed in layers, and though I had trained for about a month prior to going on this trip, I found out that I hadn’t done enough! 🤣
The GoT trek
Our GoT tour did not disappoint! In fact, it was entirely amazing!!!
Our tour guide, Eric, had been an extra on the spectacular and daring Game of Thrones (GoT for those unfamiliar with the abbreviation) show for 8 seasons and totally knew his stuff. He gave us inside information about the show, including behind-the-scenes, making of GoT episodes, site locations, and much more!
Eric in the busMy husband by the GoT tour bus.And me by the GoT bus
Eric literally brought every location to life for our tour group! He provided us all a look at 8.5 x 11 inch laminated photos so we could link, in our mind, each location to scenes from the show and enable us to have a point of reference. This not only enhanced our enjoyment of the tour, but gave us the ability later to relive points of the trek when we rewatched episodes of GoT! Excellent!!
In the scary Tollymore forest. Here’s your sign!Okay, so I loved the scary forest. The moss captivated me
We learned all about how they made the fake snow. Really incredible.

Physicality
We had not expected this trek to be so physical, but we walked and hiked over 14,000 steps (equating to about 7 miles) over hilly and uneven terrain. So, if you go, and we highly recommend all fans of GoT go, really check your physicality, stamina, and endurance levels! Oh, and it would serve you well to take along a tube of our gel product for any tired or sore muscles you experience—you can order from me (comment for more info).
We were pleased that we had the stamina to do it though, as it was quite the extraordinary experience! And yes, we had some small tubes of product with us, but had I known how sore my legs and feet were going to be, I would have taken the larger tube with us!
Love the show even more now
After experiencing several of the site locations, and hearing about how the extras often carried set items or equipment on foot to each of these locations (because the first season had a lower budget), it gave us new respect as to how it all got done. And now we can really imagine how difficult it was.
The lunch menu. We all preordered. Think the restaurant was called the Lobster Pot. Lunch. My Guinness in a wooden mug. 😉Best seafood chowder I had the whole 18 days of our trip!Geoffrey’s crown.
After lunch, we had great joy meeting the actual dogs that were used to portray (with CGI help), the Stark family’s Dire wolves.

From the Winterfell site, we hiked a loop to see a couple more locations. First, the infamous hanging tree, then the expansive views where several waters edge and water landings scenes were shot.
The hanging tree. It was so creepy!!Hiked to Audleys castle I am enjoying the views they filmed many of the sea or water landings.Amazing viewGorgeous closeupHappened to catch a bird in flight!
Final stop
At the last stop, Inch Abbey, (after we were quite worn out from the day), we were all invited to dress up with actual clothes and props from GoT and play among the ruins. I did my best to make some mean faces (not good at that), and make believe for awhile. The end of a grand tour!

We arrived midday in Edinburgh, Scotland from Bristol, England and took a bus to our hotel, the Apex City Hotel.

Monday July 8
We had no idea the heart expanding treat we had in store for us as we visited Rosslyn chapel (think DaVinci Code and the Knights Templar), and the amazing grounds, Yew tree, and glen below the chapel. We learned, and felt, so much!
Upon setting foot on the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel, our soulful guide, Patricia McGivern, had a friend of hers join us and offer an invocation or meditation. As Hazel spoke, and with my eyes shut, I felt myself calm. This time, instead of seeing my field of vision blue (that I’ve talked about before), my view was completely different! My field of vision began to fill with a soft pink, and then quickly turned to a deep and bright ROSE! (One could even call it a vibrant rose color!) Ah!
Rosslyn cemetery
After walking for a time and taking in a cemetery, natural spring, well, and energy vortex, we made our way through a thicket (where I was once again stung by the stinging nettle), to arrive at one of the most stunning of sights. Thankfully, Hazel picked a few dock leaves for me to squeeze some fluid from to heal it.
Natural spring and streamThicket and our walking path.
We learned so much from Kris! Like how Robinhood is actually a VIKING story that is told in Scotland. And that Rosslyn chapel has 126 plus pictures of the greenman. The greenman is a male energy archytype. (Note: I had been pulling the greenman card out of my oracle deck for months prior to this trip!)
The Yew Tree
The base of the hundreds of years old, magnificent Yew tree.
As one who fancies how, We Are All Connected, you can imagine how deeply fascinated I was with how this Yew tree grows. It grows out and circles back (if left unattended and trimmed), into itself to continue expanding!
The Yew is an exquisite example of communion and continuity! ❤️🦋🌀🙏☯️🍀
Incredible Yew tree and grounds at Rosslyn.
Yes, this Yew was the most impressive thing I saw at Rosslyn! I sensed its incredible power. If you have been to Rosslyn and not seen this Yew tree behind the castle, then you missed experiencing a most enduring piece of ancient wisdom.
It is said that the castle and chapel were built on this land because the Yew tree was here!
Legend has it that the Yew tree was the first tree created! It is the tree of life and death. And all evergreens came from this tree!
I want to go to Wales where they have 40 or more Yew that measure up to 17 feet wide with walkthroughs!
To get some scale of size, look at the immensity of this Yew, as our friend, Kim (with hands on her heart), gazes at it!
I felt as though I couldn’t get close enough to this grand tree. It pervaded all of my senses! ❤️🦋🌀🙏
I kissed on of the Yew branches that was near to me just before Kris told us it is poisonous! Thankfully, I didn’t chew on one of its leaves! It did me no harm.
If you touch it or sit on its roots on a warm summers day and it will cause you to hallucinate.
Druid legends come from the Romans, but they didn’t know about the Yew tree! It was hidden from them!
Now, I can look back on the spaces between its branches that form the trunk of the Yew and meditate for hours on its magnitude, perseverance, and majesty. ❤️😘

The Chapel
Rosslyn chapel
The parts of the chapel that most interested me were the colors used in making it look so unique, and the statues that brought the mysteries from the East together with the beliefs of the West. The co-mingling of art was astounding!

We really loved the basement chamber (or crypt), of the chapel when Kris sang an Acappella song for us! Stupendous!
The Crypt
Since no photography was allowed inside the chapel, I happened upon a guidebook that someone had thrown in the trash and I took pictures from it! Ha!
The Chapel interior (brochure pic)We admired the columns.I don’t recall if this white shadow figure was on the brochure picture or not, but it’s cool nonetheless. We walked around and around the exterior examining its architecture.Richard was intrigued by this “dark angel.”
Thank you to our guide at Rosslyn, Kris Kinosis! ❤️🦋🌀🙏☯️😉
A kilted man at the visitor center.
As our group continued touring the glen in the rain at Rosslyn, Richard and I waited inside. I had found the brochure and happily snapped pictures I had wanted. Before our group returned, I saw a kilted man outside and snapped his picture through the glass. ❤️😉🍀
We arrived back to Edinburgh later in the day. On the bus ride back into the downtown area, we spotted several Murray businesses. Though our spelling differs, it’s all the same clan.
See the people looking out the window? Loved the architecture of the dwellings. 😉🍀I loved the roses and many flower gardens in people’s yards.
Our group walked through Edinburgh our first evening there, had a delicious and authentic Scottish meal at Fiddler’s Arms.

Tuesday July 9
Our tour bus took us took us on about a 5 hour drive or so from Edinburgh for a beautiful and picturesque 3 days in Isle of Skye. Yes, we knew this was out in the middle of nowhere, so we brought plenty of snacks!!! We really enjoyed hours of scenery on the ride.
Our bus stopped in Kyle to take a short walk and look at the magnificent cliffs and waterfall. This was a place of dinosaurs!

Our tour included a stop at Eilean Donan castle, which was very cool. We roamed the grounds, had lunch, and took the castle walking tour as well. It was fascinating!

Wednesday July 10
Today was my dad’s birthday, (he would have been 80), so I had him on my mind most of the day. And this was the day we went to see the Faerie Glen.
Though it was a bit misty, we all made our way to the spiral at Faerie Glen.
Along the footpath trek to Faerie Glen. Here we are at Faerie Glen. 🌀
I naturally (or intuitively) picked up a small stone while performing my “Thank you to the 4 directions” at the Faerie Glen spiral. Ah! But something told me not to keep the stone though, so I found a space for it where I felt it was good to leave it.
Spiral at Faerie glen. 🌀
While walking back to the bus, I stopped and looked down to admire the plants along the road and I caught a glimpse of something shiny.
I picked it up and it was a rock with quartz on one side. In my thoughts I heard, “This is your gift from us, for listening earlier and not taking the first stone you had picked up”!
Wow! I was so honored to have been heard and acknowledged by spirit there. I am glad that I am open to receive. ❤️🦋🌀😉
This was our last night in Portree.
An amazing Scottish waterfall.
Thursday July 11
Our bus took our group to see the Faerie pools today, but the weather had turned a bit blustery.
Though the weather made getting to the Faerie pools an issue, it actually made the drive there more enjoyable due to the many waterfalls we saw along the way.
Amazing scenery at Kyle and Glenshiel. One of many waterfalls.Waterfalls and stream.
Richard and I stayed with our bus and driver at the car park. Always listening to our guidance and keeping our ears open, we heard seasoned hikers tell our bus driver (through his window) that they wouldn’t recommend trying to get to the pools because there had been a lot of rain and you couldn’t cross the stream (or small river) as the water was too high and moving too fast. I prayed all in our group who decided to go that they would be okay, and thankfully they were. When they got to the stream, they had chosen not to cross it. Whew!
I walked around the car park and took pictures of more foliage and waterfalls.
A little waterfall. The misty “pea soup” weather. 🍀
We had a lovely lunch after we left the Faerie pools area at the Kintail Lodge.
Richard and I at the Kintail Lodge.
We stopped along the way back to Edinburgh to have our closing ceremony and last past life regression with Patricia on the bus.
Richard told me later that everyone must have been really tired, because we all had fallen asleep part way through the session! Ha! I know I fell asleep, but I had a most wonderful dream!
Friday July 12
We enjoyed being back at the Apex City Hotel, where the Grassmarket area was bustling with vendors setting up for the Jazz festival the next day.
We spent this day in Edinburgh and some went to the castle, and others went shopping and exploring. We walked to the castle, but didn’t go in. We took in a few shops and bought our Murrey clan tartan and some gifts.
We walked the Royal Mile and checked out several area landmarks and historical monuments. We spent some time just BEing at some of this points of interest and pondering those times in history.
The castle sits high above the Grassmarket area. The actual historic Witches’ Well
Witches well
So much judging by the misinformed! And to cause someone’s death! My husband (eagle eye of an artist) spotted the well when we were there and we also took pictures. I, having an alchemist nature, have always had a soft heart for those who use herbal remedies, homeopathy, energy (faith and prayer) medicine, and so on. Only God Omniscience truly knows what was going on then (and now). So, I treat these sacred reminders with respect and reverence. I look forward to a day when truth is revealed.

We stayed in Edinburgh until our morning flight back to Dublin (and 3pm flight back to Orlando) on July 15. Stay tuned for another post about that.

I had a huge clearing (emotional release) take place yesterday while playing“Fast Track Technique for Kidz” game with my friend and skilled certified practitioner, Dr. Susan Spilman.
I felt amazing then and still do now!
What an energizing and high vibe (vibration raising) experience! Susan told me that children and adults, (no matter the language they speak), can release emotions (even stored emotions they may not consciously be aware they’re holding), by playing this easy and FUN “game.”
Sheila and Susan Spilman holding the cards in the game, “Fast Track Technique for Kidz.”
The game worked on my Central meridian and I felt the GodBumps ripple down my spine, out my shoulders and arms, and a few moments later, down and out my legs and feet! My vibration was sooo high from playing this game and using the clearing method that my face became rosy! After leaving, I was able to meet up with additional friends (that my previous mind chatter might have talked me out of), visit with them for a couple of hours, drive over 100 miles home, talk with my husband, and stay up hours longer than usual with lasting vibrant energy! ❤️
As you know, I have been practicing and teaching Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for years, but what I experienced yesterday was incredibly FAST and extremely easy! No tapping required! This “game” does everything I have been seeking, as far as showing us how we all have choices! (Go back to my home page to understand: https://SheilaMurrey.net)
Though I am a highly sensitive person (HSP) and empath, and didn’t feel I was carrying around any emotional baggage, I played the game just to see what I might uncover. And wow!
This game can help calm a child whose been bullied, comfort a sad one, ease one into playing on a team with others, or help inspire a lonely child or adult to engage and connect with others!
As an only child who was often picked last during team sports when I was a child, I revisited that old feeling of loneliness (for a couple minutes during this game play) and felt those old feelings lighten and disintegrate! No wonder I love inclusivity and Connection as an adult! Wow! Shocker! Hahahaha ❤️🤣
I want to be certified in this technique! That’s how much of an impact it made on and IN me. And it’s such an easy and FUN “game.”
I just taught one of my 2.5 year old granddaughters the motion we used yesterday (instead of the tapping points) when on video chat I saw her sucking her thumb and twirling her hair. She copied me (and removed her thumb out of her mouth)! I already see how exciting this technique will be to teach! ❤️😉
UPDATE: I got certified on Nov. 27, 2019!!

Continuing on with the sharing of thoughts and pictures from our June/July 2019 vacation to Europe, this post covers our three days in England. During these three days we covered a lot of ground, literally and figuratively!
Our Sacred Celtic Journey was with author and speaker, Patricia McGivern (learn more about her at: https://www.patriciamcgivern.com).
The tour took us to Bath, Lacock, Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow, and Stonehenge (which was abSOULutely phenomenal!) plus, we explored Glastonbury (the Abbey, Tor, and Chalice Well) and also got to have a quick stop in the tiny town of Wells, home to one of the grandest of cathedrals!
Thursday July 4
We arrived in Bristol, England and had a bus (for our group), take us on about an hour’s drive to Bath, England.
Bath
In Bath, we stayed at the Apex Bath hotel. We had a wonderful room and comfortable bed. We had walked so much in Ireland that we were really appreciative to have the rest of this day to “just BE.”
We walked through town and marveled at the architecture of the cathedral.

We dined at the famous Sally Lunn’s—home of Sally Lunn’s Buns. Our group believes Sally’s is haunted, as one of our gals experienced some odd happenings while she was in the restroom! She heard the door open, and water run in the sink, and door close, but no footsteps and no talking!
Our food was delicious and even months later, as I write this, I can still recall the feeling and experience of the place.

On this morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and afterwards met author, Andrew Phillip Smith. He presented interesting information from his book, The Lost Teachings of the Cathars. I have not read his book, but he certainly seemed an expert on the topic.
In the Languedoc area of Southern France, the Cathars met in groups and did not build churches. They were peaceful, educated, believed in equality of men and women and the early pure teachings of Jesus before being massacred by the Catholic Church in the Albigensian crusade. As well, we learned that the Cathars were celibate (called, Perfects) and confessed to each other in front of believers. Once a Perfect met their Perfect other, they went to Kingdom of Heaven (didn’t need to reincarnate into another vessel or creature). In 1209 something important happened (Reference to my 1212 life that I found out about while in Sedona.)
Supposedly, Mary Magdalene was alone with Jesus at the temple, the well, and in the garden. May not have married him but may have been his Perfect. They wouldn’t have had physical sex though, as that was not the belief or way at the time. This would have put the Cathars at odds with the Catholics.
Cathars believed in Laying on of hands (Refer to the story of the horse-lost shoe between to stones/horshoe over the door); Reference the Nag Hammadi; During the Inquisition we learned about the Cathars (so something good came out of it, yes something good can even come out of the Inquisition!). He even said Adam and Eve were not able to move until the spirit went into them!
While somewhat fascinating, I couldn’t help pinch myself a few times though, as I looked out the windows of the hotel. I was simply in awe to be in England. ❤️
Lacock Village
We walked through town again to catch another tour bus to go to Lacock (where Harry Potter was filmed), Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow, Woodhenge, and finally, to Stonehenge. Honestly, I could write one whole article on my experience at Stonehenge, it was that amazing and phenomenal.
At Lacock, Richard and I walked and talked with our driver who was a retired police officer. He told us some stories about how their criminal justice system operated and that people aren’t allowed to own guns there. We were very interested in the architecture and way of life of the villagers of Lacock. Even the barn was very well taken care of. Walking these aged streets were certainly a walk back in time.
Walking around Lacock
We ended our walk at the church and Patricia asked me to come and see an important memorial of a young mother and children.

West Kennet Long Barrow
A short drive later, we arrived at West Kennet Long Barrow (a neolithic tomb built around 3,650).
Trekking up the hill to West Kennet Long Barrow
We played with taking photos and theorizing about these stones. I happily spied on two birds atop one of the stones at the entrance to the chamber and remarked to Patricia, “One has a feather stuck on its beak”! It wasn’t a busy place that day, so it was relaxing. And we liked that we could touch everything, which heightened my curiosity and made it all the more informative.

We joked about desiring to see a crop circle here, and wildly enough, a couple of weeks after we left, we read about a crop circle appearing near this place! “Missed it by that much”!
Avebury
Next, we spent a few hours at Avebury, exploring the largest megalithic stone circle in the world! Again, we were intrigued by the “flesh” type of texture to these humongous stones. We marveled at the placement of the stones and the various “growths” on their surface.

We learned that Avebury is also a henge, as Stonehenge is and were further intrigued. Since our visit, we have become quite hooked on the topic!
After leaving Avebury, we stopped along the road for a fantastic lunch at a place called, The Waggon and Horses. Not only was the food savory and delicious, but the building charmed me with delight!

Before arriving at Stonehenge, we made a quick stop at Woodhenge. We learned that the wood markers had been placed where stones had once been.
Stonehenge
Walking the path towards Stonehenge
I will summarize to state that I felt the energy affecting me before we even reached the stones, as we rode the park bus out to the stones, and more while walking to the stones.
I noticed our shadows and took this artsy “giants” shot:
Foreshadowing Stonehenge The sun was in perfect position Casting light on the subject The heel stoneThe Druid priest provided instructions
As the sun was setting and I entered the stone circle, I felt a strong yet calm energy as I took each meaningful step. I felt an indescribable connection to this sacred site!
Walking inside this megalithic stone circle was deeply personal and most intriguing. Even now, looking at the photos as I write this, brings me back INTO engagement with those feelings.

After taking pictures and video of the sunset, I found a mostly buried blue healing stone (that Pharon had told me about earlier). I sat very near one of the blue stones and was blissfully surprised at how quickly I dropped into a meditative state.
My few minutes of meditation within the inner circle at Stonehenge was profound! I was quite surprised after leaving there to learn that my husband had taken a picture of myself and some of our others while we were meditating! Love!
Note: Even now, I continue to connect to that stone when meditating at home.

Update! New Stonehenge discoveries 2/20/2022
“Those long-distance connections are being demonstrated through science, and that’s really helpful to understand that Stonehenge wasn’t an isolated culture, they were actually really interconnected,” Wilkin said.
Today (on the date of my daughter’s birthday), I was a bit emotional because of not being with her, but also because I was out of the country and not able to talk with her. In English tradition though, I put my chin up and trekked on, as we had a lot to see!
Wells
We made a quick stop in Wells, England’s smallest city. And we were all astonished at the sight we saw there!
Wells signThe Wells cathedral Closer view of the Wells cathedral. What grandeur and opulence!
Glastonbury
Glastonbury signSynchronistically, we were in Glastonbury while there was a Holistic Spiritual & Wellness Fayre going on!
We left the hotel at 8am for a full day in Glastonbury (where it is believed that Joseph of Arimathea and King Arthur may be buried); we had our second past life regression out back of the Abbey and before the group tour of the Abbey.
My husband, Richard, had been dealing with a hip that was hurting, so we didn’t go on the Abbey tour, but I felt that was all in divine time. As it happened, a friend had lost her green Prasiolite crystal after our regression session and I was available to walk with her, help look for it, and have some time to talk. Had Richard not have needed to rest, I would not have been available.

The grounds here were spectacular. I covered a lot of ground myself taking in the roses and other flowers growing on the walls and looking for meaningful items.

I spent quite awhile in the Abbey’s museum and was immediately drawn to these blue glass fragments (reminiscent of the luminous blue stones I had seen in my first regression session in Glendalough—see part 1 post).

Before leaving we had a few minutes to shop and find some gifts for my granddaughters and myself. 😉
We walked into town for lunch and had a delicious meal at a cafe where we had quiche and English tea.

Chalice well
We left about 1pm for the Chalice Well, England’s most loved and well known holy well that is believed to possess healing qualities). On the way to our tour bus, I spied my synchronistic blue on one of the buildings! I tell you, I didn’t miss a beat of receiving all of the subtle winks from the Universe I was given on this trip!

Our guide for this day took us up a side street to The White Spring where back in the day, commoners could gather water (the rest runs down under the grate beside the street.) He also took us in the building (that isn’t always open), where we could see The Red Spring—and as our luck would have it, we even saw a nude man after his dip in the spring! LOL Oh, my! (No photography was allowed in there and we know why!)
Glastonbury Tor
Richard and I took one look at the hill and decided to stay at the bus with our driver, Richard, and talk about the legends and more with him. To us, connecting with those who live in these places are more important than the buildings and such. We enjoyed talking about the sheep and such too, and he prepared a lovely cheese and cider snack for us all after the rest of our group returned. Totally unexpected and delightful!

Back in Bath
Wrapping it up, we spent several hours at the Roman Baths museum in Bath. We were amazed by how much was here and I could write another article on all we discovered here! It was one of the biggest surprises of our trip, as we didn’t know much about this at all and had no idea that we would be so mesmerized by it all, from the engineering and architecture, to the art! We knew Romans were intelligent, but obviously much more than we had thought!

Note: As destiny would have it, out of 30,861 applications I won the lottery entry into the Newgrange neolithic chamber for the 2019 winter solstice sunrise! We are sooo excited to return to Ireland!
