I started writing this post in JUNE! That’s how far behind I am on writing for my blog, though I have written several posts since. It’s just that I’ve been sooo focused on moving my body and getting out of pain that this two-part series took a back seat in priorities.
The first day of 2-Day Better Way Conference
I’ll simply say that this entire weekend I was immersed in the Better Way Conference via a virtual ticket. The conference was held in Rhode Island and I’d learned about it via Dr. Bruce Lipton (though he was not a presenter there). People I’ve followed for YEARS were involved and the incredible information learned, both from the speakers and insights that dropped into my mind while watching and listening will become a SERIES of blog articles, so stay tuned!
Holistic health information was shared, receipts proving studies and some of the former so-called conspiracy theories were brought front and center, and ways we can ALL work to find a better way through to resolve any health issues were discussed and debated. Shocker, NOT everyone agreed on EVERYTHING either. And that’s always true when it comes to health SCIENCE, but all ideas, perspectives, and philosophies were HONORED and RESPECTED and THAT’S why I LOVED this entire two-day conference and want to be more involved for the next ones… and there will be more as they are offering a FREE franchise!

Stay tune for Part 2 of my conference notes and why I study and practice holistic health for myself and offer advice free-of-charge to others. I’m not practicing medicine by the way, I am an interfaith minister and am simply sharing information. JIGGLE WIGGLE and mobility movement short videos
As I’ve written about (probably ad naseum at this point), I’ve been doing a series of exercises, Egoscue, some from our local personal trainer, Dr. Kristie Ennis, and now Vanja Moves Method, via her “toolkit.” I’ve been posting video shorts of these movements if you also feel you need to move more. I now realize movement every morning as soon as I wake up is NON NEGOTIABLE for me! I have come to understand that I hurt myself back in January (and then again a couple months ago) because I would go from sitting all day to dancing (sometimes kind of in a frenzy) and it was too much of a shock for my unconditioned and untrained body. Ouch! I also feel the vibration plate contributed, if not directly caused, my shoulder/arm nerve pain–though I followed their instructions and always used it on the lowest setting.
In my YouTube channel, I encourage those “over 50” to:
- Open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’)
- Become more aware of our thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease
- Loosen up and move our bodies (we’re stuck in our heads also due to our “Programming” and physically unhealthy)
- And become strong and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, and body.
- And to question EVERYTHING!
