I thought we’d have a bit of fun this morning and I’d share a couple of things to lighten your day. At least, that’s my intention.
This first image of the two axolotls is for my friend, Linda, of Creative Artworks: https://creativeartworksblog.com Can you see them? Hint: The white one loves to hide!

Now, for a laugh, at least I hope you’ll laugh:
Richard and I were sitting together yesterday as I was scrolling and an ad popped up for bras. I started laughing as I began reading the ad copy and he asked why. As I read it to him I thought, “I should record this”! Unfortunately, you missed some of our initial comments and laughter, but here’s how it went:

This is all just to show you that Richard and I don’t always take ourselves so seriously. Ha!

Enjoyed reading your post. And yes, it certainly lightened my day!
I especially loved the running conversation with Richard. Your remarks about the bra ad, particularly the repeated use of the word “pendulous” and its dramatic claim that most women were apparently suffering from this terrible affliction, had me smiling. The way the two of you played off each other made that whole bit genuinely funny. Thanks for the laugh!😀
And I’d never heard of axolotls before. 🙏🏻💛

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me know you enjoyed the fun convo between my husband and me. LOL I only wish I had caught our conversation and laughter earlier in that conversation! I hope many people will listen and find the humor in it too. I’m glad we helped brighten your day and lifted your face into a smile with all of that. Yay! And yes, axolotls were new to me too when I first saw them at the art studio.

You’re most welcome! 😊 The laughter and the conversations between the two of you was felt completely natural and unscripted. Those are often the best conversations because they’re so easy to relate to.
Thank you both for sharing your joy so generously. I’m already looking forward to your next conversation! ❤️🙏🏻

What a gracious comment, MMC. Yes, we’ll have to record another conversation soon. Hopefully, not about a bra ad next time. LOL

Thank you! The pleasure was entirely mine.🙏🏻💛
I’ll keep an eye out for the next wonderfully ordinary thing that the two of you can turn into an extraordinary conversation though I must admit, it may be difficult to find another topic that can compete with the sheer literary brilliance of pendulous! 😂

I agree totally with Verma. I laughed at the ‘number one problem.’ It would be hard to find a more stupid problem. And, if this IS your ‘number one problem’ I don’t think I’ll give you much of my time. Thanks for this. What fun.

Oh, great, Linda! I’m so glad you found the humor in that bra ad, like Richard and I did! I know not everyone “gets” our humor but our intent was to share our laughter and light-heartedness over the matter. I sure hope there are no ladies actually suffering from pendulous boobs out there (I can just imagine at least one woman coming back saying it’s a problem).

What a delightful post! It brought a smile to my face from beginning to end. The hidden axolotl was a fun challenge, and your lighthearted conversation with Richard reminded me how important it is to laugh at life’s little moments.
Your warmth, humor, and positive outlook shine through every word. Thank you for sharing a little joy with your readers and for reminding us that a cheerful heart and a shared laugh can brighten any day. Wishing you and Richard many more happy moments together! 😊🌸

Ah, before I even read your wonderful detailed comment, I was on the same wavelength, Mr. Verma. Three cheers for laughter! Yes, Richard and I handle a LOT of our day-to-day issues with humor. I don’t know where we’d be without it! I’m always thankful for you.
