Is God Real?

Is God Real?

For many of us, WE wouldn’t even pose this question. And yes, I do draw a distinction between “real” and “exists,” such as if I were to ask, “Does God exist?”—a similar, yet different question.

WE undeniably KNOW God is—but, is the isness real (as in physical matter), or spirit?

Those who know God is Real don’t just believe, but came to this knowing through experiencing God, via our senses, by way of esoteric phenomena that we can only attribute to God.

I believe atheists and doubters have asked either or both questions at some point in their lives, because everyone experiences some things that they can’t explain.

I’m not here to change an unbelievers mind, but I would like to present a slice of my reasoning for believing the answer to both questions is YES.

Defining Reality

Any good survey starts by providing definitions. So, let’s examine my previous articles to provide my thoughts on the definition of “Reality.”

https://sheilamurrey.net/2012/09/16/are-we-real/

https://sheilamurrey.net/2014/06/01/reality-is-only-what-we-perceive/

And as interesting as it is to attempt to define Reality it is even more thrilling to ponder a definition of the undefinable enigma, God.

God, Omniscience

I have been sharing my innermost thoughts about God, Omniscience, for several years (since my first audible experience in 2005). Links to my previous articles follow:

Hearing from God

In the article, Research Is Shedding New Light on Hearing Voices, the author writes that William James, who established the first experimental psychology laboratory in America at Harvard, concluded:

God is real in the reality of the impacts on those open to the possibility. Considering whether or not to choose such openness, James decided that it is more beneficial to act as if there is a transcendent that gives an ultimate meaning to life.

William James, Philosopher and Psychologist—Father of American psychology.

Granted, not all believers in God claim to have heard God’s voice, such as Neale Donald Walsch, author of the series of Conversations with God books. Nevertheless, most believers do credit God with healings and a variety of phenomenon (such as synchronicities) that cannot otherwise be explained.

My friend and fellow spiritual author, Elliott Eli Jackson also writes of conversations with God in his series of The Sapiential Discourses books.

Sacred Sites

This is a huge topic, and one that I have written about before, so I won’t go into it all again, except to provide a list to my previous articles and say that I continue to reap energetic benefits from the time I spent at Newgrange in County Meath, Glendalough, Ireland, Stonehenge in England, and multiple sites in Scotland, especially on the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel and castle, Isle of Skye, and the Faerie Glen.

Meditating inside the stone circle at Stonehenge.

Right from the beginning of our trip, while “playing” and seemingly “having fun,” I was opening and picking up clues of what would come. https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/12/03/game-of-thrones-tour-dublin-ireland-winterfell/

Life After Death

As you may recall, I wrote an article, https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/04/19/a-surreal-vision-of-soul-departing/ after my dad died (crossed over to the Grand Beyond), which was quite the profound experience. That surreal experience, as well as others regarding my still born sister, Christina (link in the section: Metaphysical Experiences), lend to my knowing of Life After Death, and add to my beliefs of Omniscience (my name for the unknowable Dao, or God).

Friend, film producer, co-founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and author, Stephen Simon has now, published a book with his beloved wife Lauren (who crossed over to the Grand Beyond in her sleep). I am so thrilled their book, What Dreams Have Come: Loving Through The Veil, is available on Amazon.

Update: The Kindle version is available! I have read it and have a book review in process! Love it!

Also from the same Psychology Today article,

Studies with non-clinical populations have suggested that people are especially likely to hear hallucinatory voices during times of loss or bereavement. In one study, 30% reported hearing the voice of their deceased loved one within the first month of their death, and 6% still heard them a year later. In another study, 13% of persons heard the voice of their deceased spouse, including some who had been widowed up to 40 years prior to being interviewed.

Turning towards Spirituality

Because I just can’t put all my trust and faith in any ONE person, concept, or teaching anymore, I have turned towards Spirit to lead and guide me.

I consider all I have learned up to this point in my life, as guideposts. Like training wheels help a child learn to ride a bicycle with proficiency and under self locomotion, that is how I view all religious instruction. Good for a time, but once you’re strong and steady in your knowing, and you have fully integrated Spirit, God, Source, Divine Essence, live the Dao, accepted the garment of the Christ, etc. you’re walking your path.

In closing, for now

In closing, for now: ALL of this leads me to more study and live more in tune with nature, as I see Omniscience EVERYWHERE. I am strong and steady in my walk. ❤️🦋🌀

Moving into 5th density experience

5th density experience

I truly see where I’ve been moving into the 5th density of experience since 2005.

In the beginning

I became aware something profound was happening to me when I started getting GodBumps while talking about Conscious Living, expanding awareness, Christ Consciousness, raw vegan foods, Spirituality, etc. with coworkers. And I have been on a quest to discover “WHY” ever since.

Getting it

When you really GET Jesus (or the Christ, or Buddha, etc.) you no longer need the church, temple, etc. Going can be invigorating or fun, but you don’t need it.

An easy way to discern

You’ll find church to be wherever you hang out with others of like-mind and they will uplift you.

You don’t have to be brainwashed or programmed into a certain rigidity. Too narrow of a focus can lead to separation.

Virtuous Integration

If you want to experience the love of unity, apply and integrate what you’ve learned into your day to day. Practices do not need to become rituals, but deeper awareness while performing daily tasks. Pray without ceasing. Seek the meaning and lesson from every interaction.

Continue to become aware of your own virtues; the highest ideals and values of your life.

When you really GET why you came to live in a body, you’ll no longer need teachers or coaches. You can have fun with them and continue layering knowledge and wisdom gained into your system, but mostly everything you need to know can flow into you, if you are open to receive. Be an open vessel.

Layer upon layer new techniques or such, but understand why you are taking care of your body. You’ll live a wholly vibrant life!

Reasons people leave Church

  • Outgrow it – see through the programming
  • Have been offended
  • Not being told the Truth
  • Been traumatized or abused
  • Victimhood
  • Intolerance
  • Bashing other churches or faiths
  • Questioned too much
  • Gossip / slander
  • Infidelity
  • Sanctimonious attitudes
  • Hypocrisy

Now, don’t kill the thought messenger for pointing these things out. You are more than sheeple!

Our bodies are our temple

Having cleaned a branch church building for months and then being told to leave during a storm when shelter was needed, showed my mom which side those “good church members” were on—and it was not God’s. I could see right through them, though it took mom a bit longer to come around to that knowing. Those hypocrites were living in fear of the insurance company!

Ah, split energies! Know this: Jesus didn’t preach in churches!

Choose you this day how you will feel, and whom you will serve. Find your inner tranquility in each moment.

My being-ness resonated with this video.

I appreciated Neale’s transparency and Eckhart’s powerful stillness (even while he was speaking), as contradictory as that seems.

Bliss. Yes, the more we integrate and allow our Spirit to lead (instead of our Ego), in our daily activities, the more we feel it and know the truth of us.

No graven images

Why no graven images?

Primarily because graven images remind us of the past. And we are to live in the present moment. The dead do not need shrines. And everything man-made will be destroyed in the end. Everything is temporary.

God is ever-living Omniscience

Are you smarter than God? You think you are if you presume to know how God wants you to worship a particular religion. The knowing or “path” to LIMITLESS Source Energy Creator is a narrow one because most find it too difficult to let go of earthly material possessions and simply be present in every situation.

#Namaste #GodInYou #Holism

We are much more than we see. We are Spirit focused like a laser light beam into a physical body, with a lot of unseen energy round about us. ❤️🦋🌀

I pose this question to you: Where do I end and you begin?

What’s the outcome?

The Grand Beyond

Ah! The bliss and joy I feel when I imagine what the heavenly realm of the Grand Beyond is!

I imagine all the beautiful sunrises and sunsets one sees from the expansive view from the Grand Beyond.

What might it be like to reconnect with my loved ones in the Grand Beyond…

Even if I am not with my loved ones in the Grand Beyond after my Continuation Day, perhaps I will go on to create a new galaxy where many can enjoy the earthly fruits of their labor. And my loved ones can gaze upon that galaxy with awe. They may choose to join also!Oh, what a heavenly and splendid galaxy it will be!

I am writing a metaphysical novel that will explore the nature of these things, but for now, I will leave you with this:

When we wake from sleeping with a song in our head, sometimes even seeing famous people singing a song we’ve never heard before (and for some, they jump up and write the song), where does that come from?

Another dimension or the Grand Beyond?

How ONLY divides

How the use of the word “only” divides

Holy Bible

In many translations of the Holy Bible, you read in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

When one quotes this verse, it can trigger emotions in some, because we presume that if we don’t believe Jesus is the only son of God, we will perish (die). Therefore, this verse is perhaps the most divisive and intriguing verse in the New Testament. And it has perplexed me for many years since the Bible also offers many verses that teach we are ALL sons and daughters of God.

There’s a couple things here though.

John 3:16 doesn’t say anyone who doesn’t believe that Jesus is the son of God will perish, but that those who DO believe, will live forever. Everyone dies eventually in this current life, so we really need to understand what the word “perish” means.

Also, John 3:16 points to Jesus as God’s only begotten (of Him), so it speaks of Jesus as God’s singular son. The verses that tell us we are ALL sons and daughters of God, use the plural form of the words “son/daughter.” I know that’s nit picky, but if we want to understand, then it’s important to dissect this carefully and understand definitions and that translations differ.

Spiritually Yours

A yellow butterfly (years ago), was the real beginning of my Connected spiritual and energetic “journey”…

About 1990 I had been visiting the grave of my second husband’s mom (she had passed a year before I’d met him; he had taken me there several times to visit her grave as that was his belief), when a yellow butterfly lit upon my shoulder and wouldn’t leave. Though I flicked at it to go away, it stuck around what seemed like 5 minutes or more, until new clarity entered my thoughts.

And years earlier (Christmas time 1980) I glimpsed the power of Omniscience after a guy backed into my mom’s car in a parking lot while my infant daughter and I were sitting in it waiting! He had driven away (yes, it was a hit and run) and I commanded him invoking Jesus’ name to return. When he turned around and returned, mom asked him why, and he didn’t know, but I knew. He felt compelled!

❤️🌀🙏

Differing Beliefs

Thus, we can choose to believe Jesus is the only son of God, the risen living Christ, or not. For those who believe, there is glorious love and hope.

However, for those who do not believe Jesus is the son of God, they can find love and hope also.

No one needs to argue or fight over who’s right or wrong. There’s no “one true church.” No one needs to prove their God is bigger than another. I don’t need to limit my beliefs to “people please” anyone.

This may come as a shock to you, but the Bible was not written for ALL people. In the first book of the Old Testament Genesis 4:16 we read that, “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.” Obviously, there were other people with other beliefs before Adam and Eve were created! And the powerful good news is that our Creator God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient Energy–which means God has already and is continuing to work everything out. Let go, and let God.

We only see through the glass darkly right now. And I think most of us are mature enough to realize that the “powers that be” love to keep the masses dumb, confused, arguing, and bickering in order to better control us. Remember a house divided cannot stand.

The earth is a garden with many different life forms. Can we pass the test to live harmoniously?

How can we consciously co-create and work to unify, when we are always arguing about our different core beliefs?

Even among “lightworkers” there is division. Then again, if we were to apply nature (such as the Fibonacci sequence), maybe “division” is a natural occurrence and all we need to do is work on making our part of the pattern beautiful! ❤️🦋🌀

Knowing these things, I choose to thank Omniscience in and for ALL ways. This centers me and fills me with peace.

Love is ALL there is. #GRATITUDE

❤️🦋🌀☘️🙏😘

The fences of religion

The fences (rules) of the religions of the world are somewhat similar. Have you noticed that?

Defining the rules

By definition, the rules of religion are the dogma, doctrine, or set of beliefs taught by a religious entity, whether that be a denomination, or sect. Of course, political parties, institutions of higher education, civic organizations and others can have dogmatic rules of order too, but for purposes of this discussion, I’ll limit my scope to faith oriented groups.

The rules of engagement can be based on written texts, such as the Holy Bible, of which exist a variety of translations and versions, but also taught by example. Before written texts, the rules were passed down through repetitive stories.

If you attend a synagogue, mosque, or church, you by no doubt, know there are many rules you should follow–whether you believe in all of them or not.

Walled church
Walled church

Short version: Fences (rules) are restricting.

Is it any wonder that we are so divided?

I believe we’ve been restricted (and segregated) for far too long. It is time to think deeper, broader.

When I think of God, I’m referring to LIMITLESS Omniscience. I use the name “God” in this article as it is the most widely known name to represent the Highest Sacred diety, Creator, or Source.

Every religion seems to define God differently. Some, even say that God is the personage of Jesus–and then go about portraying Jesus in different ways. Even with all the variety of beliefs, I stand by the fact that We Are All Connected. And I feel people (with or without faith) have more in common than we realize.

To me, the point is that each of us should be a living testimony of God because we are a fractal of Omniscience. Taking care of our body temple, aligning with our soul, mastering our mind, thoughts, heart, emotions, and impulses. The Kingdom of God is in our own hands. Omniscience looks upon our heart and sees our intentions.

My intention by writing this article is to open the eyes of some, and provide you with a broader understanding of your neighbor. You know, the one you’ve been taught to Love.

The long version:

Thus, here are the GENERAL RULES (noting if applicable to specific religions) I discovered that can keep followers fenced in (like a herd of sheep) to a particular faith.

Defining God. Speaking of God, who is God? The organization will tell you, in fact, preach to you, about their idea of who and what God is and if there’s only one, or many. Who are WE to attempt to define God? How presumptuous of us mere humans!

Defining Heaven. Everything about what Heaven is and how to get in is taught to you via your religion. There are rules specific to that, which are primarily the rules of the religious organization, because that’s the goal of most organized religions.

Holy Book. Almost every organized religion or faith, has a Holy book, whether it be a Bible, Book of Morman, Doctrine & Covenants, Qur’an, Hadith, Torah (Pentateuch), Tanach, Mishnah, Talmud and Midrash, Upanishads, Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Tao Te Ching, Sutras, Tripitaka, or other. There are many Holy books, yet most people are only aware of a fraction of these, much less have they bothered to read from any of them. And then, within these books, there are hundreds of various translations.

Remember that pretend phone game most of us learned in elementary school where each would whisper a word in the child’s ear next to you? By the time the word was passed around the circle, the word at the end was totally different than the word spoken in the beginning! It’s kind of like that when it comes to gaining any kind of understanding of God from one version of one book. And books can divide, especially when one group says their book describes the ONLY way to God and Heaven.

Know the “Word of God.” Whatever scripture the religion uses, you’d better read it, know it, memorize it and such, so you’ll not be tempted to go in any other direction. And only read the specific translation the faith deems “true.” Far be it from you to read any other scripture, indeed your religion will likely tell you that any other spiritual type of work is devilish.

Beliefs. Do good things. Follow the commands. And if you don’t, confess your sins to someone else and ask God to forgive you. God forbid you do anything wrong = sin. And saying there’s no God (blasphemy), well, that will land you right in some eternal burning lake of fire. Eeks!

Fellowship. It feels good to congregate with people of like-mind. And they want to keep you thinking the same way. If you think or speak outside of the box, you’ll receive everything from a discouraging look to a stern lecture. Of course each congregation tends to segregate and limit who can attend.

Membership. Following attendance, but with stricter rules, is membership. Once you’ve been attending for awhile you are invited to become a privileged “member.” And once invited, you had better become a member, else, be damned. Once a member, never question your membership or you run the high risk of being booted out, ostracized, banished, or worse. Some faiths go so far as to ever let you see your family again, as is the case with the Amish and Scientologists.

Money. To keep the faith going, build and maintain churches, pay the clergy, and so on, members are highly encouraged to donate 10 percent (or some certain set percentage) of money in tithes to the organization. And unless you serve on the budget committee, you are never to question where the money goes.

Recruit. The religion must grow and keep their numbers up–to keep the money flowing in and the morale up. By keeping morale high, it sets the organization up for boasting that their God is bigger than another organization’s God.

Conversely, though the religion wants to grow, many will limit who can join. This is limiting, restrictive, and such a paradox!

Symbology. Some might call these statues, icons, idols, monuments, totems, or other types of engraved symbols that memorialize and pay tribute to the religion. There are caves, paintings, geometric designs (circles, spirals, wheels, and crosses) roads, hills, alters, man made items (rugs, mats, knives, beads, stained glass), celestial bodies (like the sun, moon, and stars), statues of saints or other revered entities. The list is nearly endless. If you can observe it and draw it, it’s probably associated with some religion.

Rituals. Or not. Being quiet, making certain sounds, singing, dancing, smudging, standing, sitting, or kneeling at prescribed times and places and with a certain goal in mind (to either reach or please God, or the essence of our soul). Placing hands together in prayer pose, kneeling on one or both knees, or using prayer beads (Catholics), or prayer rugs or mats (Muslims). And of course, the rituals of blessings, baptisms, and confessing one to another or to a priest (someone who’s supposed to be living a righteous life).

Prayer. Some sort of memorized prayers, or rites and methods are often taught. Along with the previous ritual involved in praying, whether it be how to pray, when to pray (at a certain time of day or night), kneeling, standing, or lying flat on the ground. In the Islamic religion prayers are directional–always toward Mecca.

Thoughts. Speaking of prayer, we are not only taught to pray, but what words make up a good prayer. We are always asking for something. Usually for ourselves more than for others, but of course, praying for a better situation for others is supposed to be the best prayers, as what we ask God to do for others, God will also do for us.

Meditation. Most Western religions do not allow meditation, either in church or outside of it. (Unity based organizations allow and encourage meditation.) Sometimes an organization will use the term meditation, but it’s use is defined by meditating on a particular scripture passage (Christian) or mantra (Hinduism). We wouldn’t want you falling into a deep mental abyss.

Clothing. Every organized religions loves to set a standard dress code, whether by written rule or by peer pressure. Each member promotes the standard to visitors begin to conform over time. Naturally, (cough) God deserves to see us in our best attire. And for the ladies, modest attire–typically a dress that covers most of the body. Some prescribe head coverings.

Buildings. The members typically always meet in a building, whether it be a church, synagogue, temple, spiritual center, ashram, or other. This almost always involves meeting in a building that someone will need to pay for, and maintain, which leads members to believe that donations and tithes must be given without question.

Security. Lock it up. Protect it. Only go to the religious building when it’s open. And be on time. The building is there for groups, not for individuals or families to take shelter during a crisis. Their insurance rates would go up. This is perhaps one of the most ludicrous reasons for NOT believing that worshippers need an assembly building in which to meet. Talk about FAITH! Oh, ye of little faith! Do you not remember that EVERYTHING belongs to God?

Defend it. Similar to Security, Membership, and Recruitment, followers of various religions typically feel the need to defend the belief. Why? Will the dogma of the faith fall apart without people ready and willing to sacrifice all to defend it?

Timing. This rule goes hand in hand with rituals and having to go into buildings. Don’t go in or out, stay seated until you are directed to stand or kneel, and exit at the end of the service in an orderly fashion.

Children. This could also come under the heading of Behavior. Don’t allow your children to be disruptive during any assembly meeting. Children must obey their parents and guardians.

Joy. Don’t smile too much, or be too happy. Serving God is serious business. Someone might think you’re up to something if you’re always joyful.

Curiousity. Don’t bother asking any tough spiritual questions. And never talk down, back to, or get uppity with any member of the clergy.

Adherence. Be sure to follow all of the rules to the best of your ability, never mind what the preacher, priest, or other leader is doing (pay no attention to the man behind the curtain). All religions teach some sort of “right action.”

Needs. Look how far down the list we find “needs.” Is it any wonder so many of us have a hard time when it comes to “receiving”?

When you need help (for a health, spiritual, family, relationship, or financial matter) call the clergy.

Do you do that? If not, why not?

Don’t you believe that they’ll be there for you? Isn’t that one of their primary duties, beside getting to know who God is, studying, and healing people? The clergy is supposed to be there for you in your time of need. They exist in these roles to pray with you, instruct, and guide you in right action. They’re supposed to visit with you in your home if need be. They’re even supposed to offer you monetary support when you need it (though it’s likely they won’t pay your bills).

Did I miss anything?

I’d like this to be an open dialogue, so please comment of any rules I missed, or rules you feel you should follow that I haven’t mentioned.

As I’ve written before, an Omniscient LIMITLESS God, Creator, Source Energy can never be fully understood as that would be like trying to see every glint of sun on every wave in the ocean, and more—all at the same time.

I believe for every question there is an answer, but that those answers will not cover every question because there are limitless scenarios in which one could ask the same question, thus putting a different spin on the answer.

Christians believe Jesus will return, but then they don’t believe in reincarnation. And that sounds like a logic problem to me.

NOTE: I credit my beloved mother with the phrase, “fences of religion.” How can that be? Well, I woke up early the morning of Oct. 25th, 2018, after a dream I’d had of my mother (who’s part of the Grand Beyond). In the dream, mom inspired me (and has prodded me a few times since) to write this blog article. We’re all part of Omniscience, believe it or not. Omniscience isn’t a belief to me, it’s a knowing. And the more I connect and align to the essence of my soul, the more I feel the “realness” of that knowing. OM

Tear down the fences and love one another right now. ❤️🦋🌀

We Are All Connected. OM

Speaking MY truth on church coverups

Speaking one’s truth

One of my beloved cousins told me to speak my truth years ago, but I wasn’t always brave enough to do so, for fear of hurting other people’s feelings.
Then, one day, I realized I am not responsible for other people’s feelings and cannot please everyone.

Ruffling feathers

So, what did I say that ruffled some feathers?
Well, I spoke my truth in response to a Facebook post about a 70+ year coverup involving abuse and rape of children in the Catholic church! These horrors were put upon innocent and trusting children as young as, in one documented case, 18 months of age!

Accountability

Church members (definitely the upper clergy members) are supposed to hold each other accountable. Far too many forget this.
Everyone has the ability to choose Compassion and forgive.
Everyone has the right to choose their faith.
But, clergy in the Catholic church allowed the abuse and rape of children to go on and on. And the higher ups covered it up!
Only Omniscient God can forgive such defiling acts.

Omniscience resolves ALL
Omniscience resolves ALL

As a church goer, do you hold your clergy accountable?
How would you know if he or she was a predator?

Are you complicit?

If everyone would QUIT attending, the churches would fall overnight. No attendees = no church. Everyone is complicit in this who knowingly attends and puts time and money into these institutions.
Way past the time for people to wake up!

Perspective

Yes, I shared from MY unique vantage point. I shared my perspective. How dare I throw out my opinion to an unsuspecting, conditioned group of friends and family on Facebook? Ha! Oh, ye of little backbone.
Truth is being revealed.

Be responsible for your feelings

Every one of us are responsible for how WE feel.
I cannot MAKE anyone happy.
I am the only one who can allow another person to upset me. And I wish I wouldn’t, so I am constantly learning and improving my emotional balance.
I’ve learned, I can choose to tend to my own feelings and BE happy in most of the moments, hours, days, weeks, months, and years of my life. It’s ALL a choice.
I have to pay attention to how I am feeling, and then be decisive on whether I’m going to get tied up in some upsetting thought, or turn to a pleasant topic.
Now, everyone (in particular, my family) should know where I stand—or FLOW—with issues because I write to a world audience on two blogs, in two books (with a third due out any day), and so forth. But, let’s assume you haven’t read anything I’ve written before.

Intentions

If you know me, you know it’s never my intention to hurt anyone. As that’s not me. Not my nature.
I share from my open heart. And sometimes, yes, perhaps often, I open mySelf up to more abuse by speaking my truth. So be it. I stand in my power. I stand in my own alignment with my Soul, Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, or whatever you choose to call the Presence of Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient Creator God.
Perhaps I do cast my pearls before swine. But, to the core of my BEing, I am a teacher, a way shower. I am doing what I am called to do, to hasten the Light of our Ever-Living Creator into the dark shadows.
So, before you allow something I say or write to upset your little apple cart, you might seek first to understand, before rushing to judgment.
After all this, if you are hurt by what I say or write, feel free to change the channel. Some have, some will, but that’s what I write most about—choice!
I have been posting or commenting on open online forums since 1990. Thus, it’s really on you if you don’t know who I am.
My ego is not hurt or offended if you disagree with what I say or write.
Do I give my time and money to institutions that HIDE their misdeeds in secret? No!
It is never my intention to be hurtful or disrespectful, but only in our NOW experience, is where our power is, and it affords us the ability to CHOOSE to do something to end the abuse.

Here’s what I DO stand for:

  • I speak FOR and in support of the abused children.
  • I am for school choice.
  • I am for parental involvement in school affairs and doctor / coach visits.
  • I am for transparency.
  • I am for statutory change.

If you stand for the same, here’s what that might look like:

  • Walk into your child’s classroom unannounced to check on the well-being of your child (and all children).
  • Spend some time getting to know the kids your child goes to school with.
  • Spend some time getting to know the people who teach your child/children.
  • Home school your children.
  • Only support churches that have transparent policies and no hidden secrets (or perhaps none at all as your body is a temple and “church” can be a simple self practice or gathering of two or more).
  • Boldly attend coaching sessions, doctor visits with your child.
  • Do not abdicate YOUR responsibility! There are things you’re called to be responsible for–and the safety of your children is top priority.

Who deserves honor?

To many times we think we’re honoring people in our past who trained us (such as my aunt who attended Catholic nursing school), or relatives whom we love, by going along with their beliefs instead of studying for ourself and aligning with Omniscience Creator.
And if you’re a “believer” you should know better. You should know what it feels like to align with the Holy Ghost before you EVER condemn another.

Do not let your so-called “honor” of your own past experiences, or any other’s beliefs (because you’re people-pleasing), override your own Soul-calling (or Holy Ghost) NOW choice to speak up and out in service to protect children.

Grace

Yes, do I believe in Grace. AbSOULutely.

But, only our LIMITLESS God can offer grace in ALL areas and in all circumstances.

I write to a global audience.

Be in alignment with your soul

I coach people on how they can shift their thoughts, way before any abuse can occur.
When I say, “I draw the line at abuse and rape.” It is because I mind my own thoughts (mind my own business), until someone hurts a child.

Performing grievous acts while hiding behind ANY religion is blasphemous to Omniscience!

As always watching the news or reading anyone’s Facebook is your choice.

I am HERE to speak MY truth and offer suggestions for coming into alignment with Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, LIMITLESS, Creator God.

Do what feels more aligned with your Soul.

I do.

Thank you to those who have prompted me to share this and feel lighter today.
Be ye blessed in ALL ways.

Be the person your Soul knows you are!

Namaste. OM

UPDATE:

I feel like John Lennon may have felt after releasing his song, Imagine.

People will take this article and my small opinion about it in a variety of ways based on their own filters, conditioning, and experience.

I have written publicly about my dislike of organized religion for over 10 years. Check my blog.

I never said I wanted anyone to leave God.

I write volumes about God. About the Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Omnipresence of God.

I was awakened in the middle of the night, the day I shared this. I was told to “DO SOMETHING.” It was the night I happened to see only a short clip of this story. I then, spent hours watching survivor stories, BEFORE writing a few sentences above this post.

I am NOT arrogant, never have been. I doubt my sharing will make much difference. I am only following through to “do something.”

My apologies have been sent to the dear friends who were hurt by my words. I ALLOWED mySelf to be hurt by some comments from family. But, no more.

We each have our opinions. I will always listen. But, I will not comment anymore here. That ship has sailed.

I feel a lot of growth has occurred from this exchange.

From now on, I earnestly pray for the recovery of the victims in this story, and ALL victims of abuse, physical, mental, and emotional. Peace.

P.S.
To my family, or anyone who would feel better about judging me for MY choices:
I love you very much.

Do NOT judge me as being someone who aligns with “satan” or dark, dense forces, as I surely do not.

How dare you?

You obviously know NOTHING about me, or the Lord you claim to serve by throwing stones of judgment toward me.

I speak my truth and call out the predators of this world who harm children and you have the audacity to speak against me?

What saddens me is all of the judgment I am receiving from so-called loved ones, when I speak my truth. Wake up! You crucify Christ all over again!

Would you call Jesus the devil for overthrowing the money changers’ tables in the temple?

Sheeple!

We are called to study to show ourselves approved, NOT by following what some pastor says, or whether you attend ANY church! Study ALL of the Holy Words! There is more than one.

Be careful that you do not become self righteous hypocrites.

Remember what Jesus taught about throwing stones? Have you looked in the mirror and found yourself blameless?

If you are so weak that you cannot handle the world without church, then you are the one who needs to spend some time Connecting with Omniscience to gird up your loins and find your authentic voice! I have found my voice and take responsibility for it.

The Catholic hospital where my mother was first taken to in the 60s, asked my dad to choose their baby’s life over my mother’s when she was near death–he chose her life instead and had to have her transported to the non-religious city hospital to save her life! Is that the BULLSHIT you are telling me that you are siding with now, and that is more important to you, than your relationship with ME?!? Hypocrites!

I stand in my powerful alignment with Omniscience. Omniscient God. Alpha and Omega.

I am calling out for people to not align with those who hide behind religion to hurt children.

And it happens to girls too:

https://youtu.be/OQcbtLOcHtg

This is what I’ve been shown to do. You do not have to listen to me.

I hope you spend your time and money with those whom you align with. For Jesus said there will your heart be also.

I do hope the people you’re hanging out with are of the utmost and highest good for your soul’s journey and not hurting a child in the back room.

My prayer is: Omniscience, above and through ALL, forgive them for they know not what they do.

OM

UPDATE:

Almost nothing makes me more angry than those “trusted” to uphold the word and idea of God to take advantage of children.

Response to a friend whom shared happy pictures from her childhood, but that also reminded her of abuse and trauma during those years:

It hurts my heart that you were taken advantage of in those ways. I get so angry about child abuse, pedos, etc and so on and how other adults can miss the signs. I missed the signs when it was going on around me. (And I am always open to learning more and best ways to respond.)

I am glad you had some moments of joy in your childhood, no matter how few or far between, as these pics show. Always a silver lining. Something to be thankful for. And thank God you lived through the whole mess and BLOOMED into the beautiful soul you are NOW! ❤️🦋🌀

Laws must change to provide some measure of justice for victims. But beyond that, these so called CHURCHES need to practice what they preach and hold their priests accountable!

My take on New Thought

About New Thought

First, the back drop I’d like to set is that one of the things humans love to do is to make much ado about nothing. We love to categorize, label, and define things, which often leads to us complicating very simple things. We also love to feel in CONTROL, by controlling situations, or people, around us.

Humans love to Control
Humans love to Control

I love to find the wisdom within the simple things. I love to look at everything from a child’s point of view. I feel this helps keep my thoughts and energy balanced.

The main points

I’ve written previously that there are many names for God, whilst Omnipotence, Omniscience, Omnipresence is above and beyond and LIMITLESS of “naming.” To say that Omni-everything is a Deity (whether personal or impersonal) with any name, still sounds limiting to me.

Oneness works for the Omni-everything, but Divineness (to me) still implies some sort of inherent “goodness.” Omni-everything is ever-living, creating and destroying. If you can find the “goodness” in destruction, then perhaps we’re sharing the same stream of consciousness.

Laws

To strictly state that there is a “Law” of anything is something difficult for a child to understand. My six year old granddaughter knows when she touches something too hot, it can hurt her. Or if she drops something heavy on her toe, that it hurts. But she does not comprehend any kind of law, not even the law of gravity, much less the law of attraction. However, could there be any kind of laws, of course, though that concept seems man-made to me, so if you think Omni-everything dictates certain precepts or laws, you’re anthropomorphizing the LIMITLESS.

One may also suggest that LIMITLESS constructs the Universes according to certain laws. I’d rather suggest that LIMITLESS organizes Universes by design. Within art, there are no mistakes. Take whatever you think Perfection is, and find the imperfection. Find a way to love that.

Through the LIMITLESS Omni-everything, we are. We exist. We BE. Whether or not we’ve lived before, most surely we live NOW. And right now we are creating our reality through our thoughts, time, attention, intention, and way of BEing. For this, we are each responsible. We are choosing in every minute, by direct focus, or not.

Entangled

Whether we realize the impact of our actions, which stem from each and every thought we have, they effect others since, We Are All Connected. We reap from what each has planted. Thoughts beget actions. But always, there are ways for us to choose.

Some people choose not to live in a house divided, or in a county where too much control is exerted over them. They CHOOSE to leave. In this way, they are creating their own reality by choosing to make a better choice for them, in their NOW.

Even people in bondage can choose to control their thoughts and find freedom there. Those who do not feel they have any choice in their day to day, can meditate and find relief. No one can ever control  your thoughts. In your thoughts is where you can find total freedom.

Conditioning

A child would not know of, or necessarily be caught up in performing rituals or services, thus dogmas and religions wouldn’t be important. However, most children understand (by way of parental conditioning) that honoring their parents, or those that care for them, is important. I find a personal fulfillment in the honoring of my ancestors, if for no other reason than I would not be here in this life, physically, had it not been for them.

It matters not to me of which religion or dogma my ancestors believed, or practiced. I am still here. I am thinking it would be better somehow if I came to be here via the LOVE they expressed for one another, but I am mature enough to realize that is not the case for everyone. Some are born outside of, and apart from a loving experience, but that does not mean they cannot find love. And it certainly does not mean they are not worth of being loved.

Feel free

Children understand that truth, love, and compassion FEELS freeing. It does not feel good to be called names (even in a joking way), and it does not feel good to be excluded or neglected.

Children do not get all that caught up in whether they’ve lived before, or whether someone leaves their experience, as long as their present moment is nurturing and fun–full of new and continuing opportunities for BEing part of something, anything!

Therefore, the use of exclusionary words, such as “only” cause divisiveness.

When you limit anyone about anything with words such as “only” you are using control, or attempting to guide them in one direction. The Omni-everything allows. Control is an illusion, and one that is best let go of, if one prefers to FEEL free.

In freedom and love,

OM

We Are All Connected.

Many blessings to you in ALL ways. OM

In service and support of our U.S. Veterans

Serving Veterans is grand!

Memorial Day weekend 2017… finds me so outrageously HAPPY!!!

I’ve been granted the best opportunity of my career thus far, to do what I know and am skilled/educated for–working in Information Technology (IT)–to be in service and support one of the best groups of human BEings I know, our U.S. Veterans! Yes, my years of education and experience will not be lost, but it will all contribute to a mission that I can whole-heartedly accept and honor–to ensure our veterans receive their accurate and proper benefits!

In support of our Veterans
Soul-aligned in support of our Veterans

Seeking soul-aligned work

Over the past three years, I became acutely aware that I was in a place that did not align with my spirit or soul. As I watched things happen at my job that were not to my liking, I knew that at a deeper level it was because I was working within a corporate arena that was “part of the problem” vs. “part of the solution.” Not only from my perspective and my indigenous friends, but also of the perspective of those who support the environment and the “green movement.”

I became disillusioned and apathetic. I could blame it on not having my work valued, or this or that person not communicating, not showing up, or not playing by the rules to work within my team, or any other number of nonsensical illusory issues. But at the end of the day, I knew it was because I had never aligned with that corporate mission. I really didn’t.

I had been in quite a quandary! I enjoyed my work and didn’t want to throw away years of education and experience (knowing that Creator God had helped and guided me to all of that over the years), but I knew that I didn’t want to be where I was. I wanted to help people, perhaps even help people heal themselves (as evidenced by this blog site)!

Doing my part

So, I joined several groups over the last three years, went to many MeetUp meetings, talked with lots of friends–old and new, and worked with several uplifting people, like Alaina Starhawk, Maria Carranza, Linda McCarthy, Dr. Alison J. Kay, Lama Nicholas Packard and more, who saw my struggles and encouraged me to allow more ease and grace into my life. They knew the right thing would open for me at the right time–even when I couldn’t wipe the gray clouds away from my eyes to see it.

Ta-da!

And then, the clouds parted! And in a BIG WAY!

On May 13th, I had went to Qigong class with Lama Nicholas at the park, taught a class, “Natural Ways to Relieve Nervous Tension & Anxiety” at Awakening Wellness Center, and then went to the Pachamama Alliance, “Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium” at Sacred Lands.

Declaring the desire

At the end of the symposium, each participant was given the opportunity to give a 30 second public service announcement (PSA). After watching videos and listening to presenters for about 4 hours during that event, I not only KNEW that I would stand up and talk with those in attendance, but I also knew–with more clarity than ever–what my “problem” was, just not how to solve it. I knew I needed to ask for their help.

My PSA went something like,

My name is Sheila. I work for a major corporation as a Technical Writer. One of the company’s clients is one you would not support. I don’t want to be part of the problem anymore, but I want to be part of the solution. Now, that we’re awakening, where do we go (what portal or job board) to find a way to BE part of the solution? And if no one knows of one, let’s create it! Maybe, Green Jobs 4 You?

Can you help me?

I didn’t know it acutely at that moment, but I was open and ready to receive. I was in a state of resonance to receive.

And I did talk with a couple of people after the event, and I picked up a couple of words that helped me later as I researched to find two job portals similar to what I had been thinking about:

http://www.ecojobs.com

and

http://www.goinggreenjobs.com

But I digress.

An eternal resonance

Literally, while walking to the parking lot of Sacred Lands, my friend Beverly Banov Brown, and I were saying good-bye to one another, when she heard me say, “I am going to be out of that place (job) within 30 days.” Compelled, she declared, “Wait” — and asked me to stand squarely in front of her so she could tell me something. I don’t recall if she told me that she was going to pray for me, bless me, or what, but I felt a strong conviction in her statement. So, I turned to her and stood there.

What happened next, seemed much more than a prayer. Beverly’s words seem to stretch into the ether. I want to describe the words she spoke as a Sacred Contract, or Universal Command, or something eternal and powerful. I still don’t know what to label it (nor do I like labels anyway–ha!).

Beverly spoke the Sacred Words to me, calling forth my intention in faith and steadfast BELIEF that “within 30 days…” the change I had so desired would occur.

As earth-shaking as her words sounded to me though, oddly, I left and went on my way, tired from the very long day that I’d had. I was hungry and just wanted to get home and go eat with the hubby. Thus, I promptly forgot about that prayer — until days later, on the morning after I was offered a new position working in support of our veterans!

Actualizing

The new job definitely came in within the 30 days, as Beverly had declared. It had actualized in 10 DAYS. Of course, there was lots of paperwork for me to do, fingerprints, background, and drug screen, etc.

Start date: June 1st

So, here I sit. Outrageously happy and excited to announce that the prayer was answered! And that graciously, my heartfelt desire for meaningful and engaging work in ALIGNMENT with my soul to help people IS happening!

I am resonating with a profoundly grateful and thankful heart to Limitless OMNIPOTENCE Source OMNIPRESENCE Energy OMNISCIENCE Creator God!

A long chapter (full of efforting and lessons learned) closed Friday May 26th, 2017 (synchronistically, on my son’s 35th birthday!), allowing space for a blessed new chapter in the book of my life to begin–AMAZING!!

The new role “that came so effortlessly” to me will have me working from home (100% Remote) in humble service as a Business Analyst.

Pachamama

You bet that I will also continue to promote the Pachamama Alliance too, and continue to learn from the new friends I made at the symposium. Just click on any of the links within this blog article to learn more about each person I’ve named–as well as the Pachamama Alliance.

I would love it if you would take a few minutes to watch the following video about Awakening the Dreamer:

In soul-connected alignment

Finally, I’d like to tell you about one more sign of synchronicity to all of this that shows me I am on the right path for me, at this time. Not many would notice… but one of my first childhood friend’s is named, Beverly Brown. And my friend who carved this spiritual request into the ether of the Universe is named, Beverly Banov Brown! Don’t you just love that? I do!

In humility and service to all,

sheila

Why all the different religions?

Why the different religions?

Because people cannot agree. And because once a mind believes something, it’s difficult to change it. This is why it is easier to train a child than help a broken adult.

Why all the different religions?
Why all the different religions?

What I believe

I believe in Jesus, and the Christ consciousness that is crying out from within each of us to be Connected with God, however I no longer identify with the Christian label because it seems to align with a belief that Jesus is the ONLY son of God. Yes, I have an issue with the word “only.” I see that as an error in translation.
I follow Jesus’ teachings of:
  • Not judging. He who is without sin, cast the first stone. This also pairs nicely with my knowing that “everything has value.”
  • Forgiving. Father, forgive them. They know not what they do. We can learn just as much from those who hurt us, as we can from those who treat us well, though obviously, we all want to be treated kindly, be accepted, be loved.
  • Loving. Love thy neighbor as thyself. And… love thy enemies, which includes loving all mankind. And if you have an issue with this, read again the parable about the Good Samaritan which makes it clear that “love your neighbor” means to love all persons, everywhere – not just our friends, allies, people of our country or ancestry, etc.
  • We are to live life and have it more abundantly. This is not talking about greed, this is talking about being able to enjoy all of Earth’s abundance. We do not rob, we do not destroy so that the Earth does not provide to the next generations. We seed. We plow. We reap what we sow. We enjoy. We do not need to deprive ourselves. We should learn about other cultures and enjoy the art, music, culture, and all they have to share with us. There is nothing to fear.
  • Before Jesus ascended to glory, He said we would go on to do even greater miracles than He performed. We need to understand and use the POWER we’ve been given. We need to learn who we are and use our power for good.
Above all, I believe in the Omniscience, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent God.

God’s name

We may call God, The Presence, Source, Light, Energy, or The Creator of the Universe.

It’s humans who always feel they must label and name everything. God simply IS.
There exists an Eternal Presence that pulses and resonates through all. And it is Energy. Limitless, Ever-Living, and Filling-All-Space (which is really explains how God IS truly Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent). The Presence also works for me as a name.
God lives in each of us already, most just deny it.
Jesus was a representation of God living in us or He was expressing God fully. Expressing the truth of God in us!
God can shape-shift, choosing to be Jesus, any avatar, or merely a point of light!

“There are many names for the source of knowledge—the Absolute, the Cosmic, God, the Divine Spirit, the Transcendent —yet the concept is one; it is the Universal Manifestation, the Spiritual Essence, that pervades all things. And, it is this entity, this Universal Oneness, that the mystic seeks to know.”

-Rosicrucian Manuscript

Labels

I do not associate or align with LABELS of any kind, including but not limited to:
  • Christian. For the aforementioned reasons.
  • Paganism. I do not associate with symbols.
  • Mormon. Because the original Latter Day Saints church never called themselves that, only the Salt Lake City LDS members were known as Mormons. I have read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and believe it to be the Holy scripture of Jesus Christ’s visit to America. Some call it the Native American Bible.
  • Vegan. Because I consume honey, some dairy, and fish (to align more with my native American ancestors and my blood type).

Sacred texts

I have read other Christian materials like the Dead Sea Scrolls, Nag Hamadi, and the Urantia book, so who was ever to say one book was divinely inspired while another not??? What egos!!

I’ve heard that modern society has lost touch with rituals, however, perhaps this is because the word “ritual” is built into “spiritual” and just by way of Be-ing, that is all the ritual we need? When a person is spiritual, they know spirit is always with them, in fact, that spirit is IN them! There is no need to DO anything in order to know spirit is IN you. So, we’ve let go of religious rituals because we don’t need them. Isn’t that a freeing thought?!?
I do study. As I have a thirst for knowledge. And as the Bible declares, we are to study to show thyself approved. I believe we are here to learn and accumulate knowledge and experience. As we transition, our soul takes this knowledge forward in some way.

Teachings

I do appreciate and enjoy what each of the various religions have taught me over the years:
The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, now the Community of Christ (Mormon) church taught me:
  • God is living and ever present
  • Present day revelation
  • Healing via Laying on of hands
The Methodist church that my paternal grandfather and grandmother were members of, showed wonderful acceptance and honor of others beliefs. In particular, my grandfather read my mom’s Book of Mormon and had many deep discussions with her about it! He was very interested in it, saying it offered great wisdom and comfort! He never understood why others would put mom down for believing in it, much less persecute her for it! My aunt Gela also had conversations with my mom about it over the years and my aunt was a devout practicing Methodist!
So, I was taught tolerance of other religions from an early age, even though my church taught that it was “the one true church” and I found out by attending others that each thought they were the only true church.
Baptist churches taught me boldness and encouraged me to study my Bible to “show thyself approved.” They also taught me humility–by going to the alter on more than one occasion! As well, they caused me to question my faith because they said the Mormon faith followed a different Jesus! I remember how confusing that was as everything I had learned about Jesus in my church was the same as they were preaching!!
Pentacostal churches taught me music in church can be fun and fantastic and that dancing for the Lord is glorious and healthful! My daughter and I were even “praise dancers” for a year while attending one of these churches years ago. My second husband and I were baptized in the ocean by a Bible believing non-denominational pastor whom also counseled us before marrying us. Though our marriage ended I learned so many things from it that I cannot think of it as a complete failure.
Also, that specific pastor taught me:
1) he asked the congregation to raise their hands if we thought he should drive a Lexus
2) they put multiple christmas trees on the stage
3) he said if we truly “got” what he was preaching we wouldn’t need him anymore, because God could speak to us and we could choose to listen and follow God on our own!
As soon as I understood what that pastor was saying, I left the church! (My ex-husband quit after the Lexus question.)
One of my co-dancers told me to look at algebra like a puzzle (because I had asked for guidance about math classes in college that I was struggling with). This later all became very important to my career!
Jehovah’s Witnesses taught me how they control people (a friend of mine relayed his very personal story to me years ago) and how they taught that Christmas is a pagan holiday.

Truths

The Church of Christ says the Mormon church is a fraud, yet another friend I met years later (who was Church of Christ) said her particular church didn’t teach that. She invited me to attend her church–I always felt she had a hidden agenda to convert me!
So, no, I do not believe in ONE church, one religion, or one way. To me, those very beliefs are at the root of many of today’s societal problems.
I’ll take the “live and let live” approach over all of that divisiveness.
Remember who the father of confusion is. A house divided against itself cannot stand.
If I go to any place of worship, it will be where our Creator is celebrated as being ALIVE, and speaking TODAY, and where UNITY is being observed. But, I will not succumb to any one MAN’s teaching, as my ultimate teacher is our Limitless Creator Source God Divine Infinite Intelligence.
Any religion that uses the active vibration of human beings and teaches a practice of movement (dance, waving of the arms, etc.), and breath (such as the yoga breathing called Pranayama, or chanting and singing to open and move breath through the body) are wonderful ways to heal yourself and reach towards the Divine.
What’s wrong with “new age”, or “new thought” stuff really? What are we afraid of?
God is bigger than anything, certainly larger than anything we humans can devise! In actuality, I believe in a LIMITLESS, Source Energy Creator!
We humans are always seeking to think of God in our terms, that God has a gender or certain bodily appearance, and that God sees us the way we see ourselves. But the truth could be vastly different! How grouchy of us to imagine how God thinks! Or even that God thinks at all!
Perhaps God only KNOWS.
So, yes, I can enjoy, yes, “IN JOY” all the fruits of EVERY religion! Why? Because I believe God does!
All the people AFRAID of never pleasing God, they can let that GO.
The Limitless, Ever-Living, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipresence that exists is not sitting on a golden throne somewhere waiting to smack you upside the head!

Fear

And as for FEAR, as Jaime Foxx once said in an interview, “There is nothing on the other side of fear.”
I love the word “representation” oh yes! I read the book years ago also, and loved it. I feel a lot of people who judge the Shack book and movie, do so because they can’t see an Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient Creator God as appearing to anyone as a woman. I guess they forgot about that burning bush Moses saw.
I’ve heard it said that the Catholics only resisted Hitler marginally.
What can today’s religious people do to help preserve the universal freedom of religion?
Are Christians able to live their values under stress / temptation? Perhaps this is now their time of trial?
Admittedly, I align / identify more with Christians than Muslims, but I love the Zoroastrian, Sikh, Hindu, and Buddhist religions / traditions and I do not count them out or less than because they believe some things differently than I–after all, I still contain my previous conditioning.

Where’s the love?

And what about all of the Peace and Love tribe? Where is all that peace and love when a president is elected of whom you do not approve?
How do you practice the first commandment? Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, etc.

I embrace Buddhism because I do not believe in evil. I have a knowing that what Christians deem as evil, is when we, each one of us, get in the way and block the light of God which wants to shine through us! We cast a shadow much larger than ourselves when we can’t get out of the way! Jesus knew this and called evil the “darkness” that blocks out God’s harmonic life-giving light.

I embrace the teachings of personal responsibility in Zoroastrianism–as they say to, think good thoughts, speak good words, and do good actions. And perhaps Ahura Mazda is not Omnipotent, but how do we know?

Spirituality, I believe, helps us get out of the way, so that our LIMITLESS God can can light the darkness and allow Divine Love to fill every heart.
