Interactions: Stretching to Undo Sitting

Observations based on the Egoscue movement method I learned from Tony Robbins’ 5-day challenge last week, co-mingled with an article I saw at work and crossover to moves I do daily to ease stress and tension brought a thought to mind that I could document this.

Part of my daily body actions are: Donna Eden Energy Medicine movements, breath work, eye exercises, along with some Qigong, Yoga, Asian squats, and now, this Egoscue method. All together I call this my daily F-L-O-W, a method I share in sessions of Integrating the Spirals™.

I incorporate prayer and meditation, focus, and physical movements in my daily F-L-O-W and now find the Egoscue helps me align my body properly before beginning some of the postures.

During the 5-day challenge last week, at the beginning and throughout every motivation speeches Tony encouraged each participant to stand up, bring a lot of Energy into our bodies by moving around a bit, and throwing high-fives to the screen or someone near us. He encouraged us to move to raise our bodily energies. And it felt sooo good! We did this at least once each hour. It really got me motivated to include some sort of movement into each hour of every day! Even if I forget one hour because I am super focused on something for work, I stand up every two hours. As well, I will get more water to drink, tea, go to the restroom, etc. so I get a bit of walking in too.

I used to walk each morning at 7am and watch the sunrise and am going to work on that next as a means of integrating it back into my loose daily routine. Life’s an Art, remember. I am much more of a flexible person that rigid. I am much more spontaneous than structured in my activities but I appreciate the value of structure, organization, and planning. I tend to aim toward the middle of the personality four squares. I tend to be a centrist, and sit in the neutral zone. But while this tendency helps me appreciate from ALL sides, I do think it tends to make me live in the gray zone much more than the black and white contrasts of life, which are also beautiful in many ways. But I digress, or as I call it, veer off into spiral thoughts.

All this said, to help you find what feels good to you and then do it. I was very glad to hear Tony say it can take people six months to forge these kinds of body movements into one’s routine as a habit because I never bought into the theory that it “takes 21 days to establish a habit.” In fact, I’ve actually done several things for a year or more and then stopped because the habit never “took” with me. Apparently, my personality isn’t wired to habit or addiction, and of course when it comes to addiction that’s a good thing. I’m strong-willed.

As for the Asian squats I do, now, I am able to sustain this position for a minute or minute and a half. I used to be too fat (just calling it like it was) to get into the position, and as well, my knees were too weak. Losing twenty pounds in the last few months and strengthening my knees by simply attempting to get into the Asian squat position helped me finally get into it. I do it at least three times a day, always thankful while squatting that I don’t have to do it for work or to use the restroom. I do it for fun and challenge not because I have to.

Now, the challenge for me in the Asian squat is to move from standing to squat without using my hands in any way, and return back to standing after squatting without using my hands. I had to rely on my hands a lot to get into and out of the squat and I didn’t get discouraged when it took me months to achieve the position. I focused on the progress I made each day.

Align with your soul and then, blend. Every cell in your body will thank you. Yes, ALL 50 to 70 to 100 trillion cells, whatever’s in there. They’re dancing, and they’re thanking you for putting yourself with like-minded people in a situation where you can receive.

Be open to receiving many blessings and always is my prayer for you every moment. Spirit sees ALL timelines, interactions, and interweaving lines. We will know too when we are on the Other Side.

Omniscience knows ALL. Omniscience is always with you. You are never alone.

Be the best version of who you want to be–because if you’re reading my words your soul is probably beckoning you to align with it and live up to your highest ideals. Not perfect because who is perfect? Most stagnate or ‘get stuck’ while on their way to being whatever they think perfection is. Making progress is enough. Carrying your Karma lightly is enough. Be kind to yourself while living responsibly. Who you ARE affects us ALL. We Are All Connected.

Finally! My book is done!

Since I met Patricia McGivern and had a one-on-one hypnotherapy session with her on my birthday in 2016, I have been keeping notes about observations in nature, dreams, visions, and surreal experiences (nighttime visitations) from my mom and dad since they have crossed over to the Other Side of The Veil, transitioned to the Grand Beyond, or had their “Celebration Day.”

My new book draws from these experiences. I named the book, Blues Eyes, a metaphysical novel because it’s centered around things my one day old sister, Christina has shown me.

“And birth is only the beginning. It is overwhelming sometimes to ponder how courageous and brave it is of each soul to agree to this carnal ride.

Oh, how bumpy and bizarre this ride! How curious this journey of becoming human. How mysterious and magical to be in a living, changing, growing, wonderful body!

As an adult, we think we’re big enough, strong, and tough enough to survive, but we know the body and mind are fragile too.

Imagine when we are in the womb, how fragile, delicate, and vulnerable we are. Oh, how indescribable it must be!

So, let us all pray and meditate daily about how grateful we are to have been born–to be here!

We are able to live, move, and have our being, while not every soul who desires and strives to be here, makes it.

And lets be kind to our bodies, our children, and each other. For we are all blessed to be here, and IN Joy relish the time we have on this magnificent planet.

Note from March 18th, 2021

An Aha moment! While reading the preceding paragraphs, held within about 500 writing “Notes” in my iPhone, I realized (seeing with REAL EYES), that I’d written that 3 years to the day BEFORE the DATE dad had set with me to visit each other—due to me always being “busy, busy, busy” (dad’s words).

Overarching Takeaways

Sitting in this “complete and fulfilling state of GRATITUDE and GRACE” I Am humbled.

When anything disturbs me (including myself), when my expectations aren’t met, I will choose to let it go as best I can to Limitless Omniscience God, and forgive myself and others as we can never see the whole picture, or know the whole story—much less control anything.

Cherish nothing else except each moment of Presence.

Know that you yourself are essential to this world. Understand both the blessing and the burden of that. You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this world.

In a Sacred Hoop of Life, there is no beginning and no ending. To everything, turn, turn, turn. There is a reason.

Have you tried the Carnivore Diet?

After consuming nothing but citrus fruit for more than a month, see my previous post: https://sheilamurrey.net/2022/03/25/when-was-the-last-time-you-felt-great/ and then lightening up to include some raw vegan foods, such as: celery, avocados, romaine lettuce, and saag spinach paneer with basmati rice for dinner too (a few times). And last month, I’d added green smoothies back into my diet to use up some protein powder I’d had in the pantry, as well as, try bananas again (that I had not eaten or used in smoothies for YEARS)!

I had noticed, even before adding the green smoothies, that I wasn’t losing anymore weight. But, in June I’d gained about 5 pounds back! Ugh! I had felt like I’d been sacrificing too–even with that frozen banana in my smoothies. And that’s never a good thing, and why a lot of people regain weight after dieting (which often leads people to conclude that “diets don’t work”).

But, is it true that diets don’t work???

Or perhaps, it’s that we’ve just never found the right balance of foods that will help us achieve our most desirable weight?

I had an epiphany while watching this. I had never ONLY consumed meat. I’d always eaten meat with lots of veggies, mostly low carb veggies. I had been raised on meat and potatoes, and some Italian foods like spaghetti with meat sauce and lasagna.

After watching that video and doing a fair amount of research, I was off to the grocery store! LOL

I spent about the same, if not less, money for only meat, eggs, and butter, as I had been spending on all the veggies and fruits for me, (as well as the prepared frozen meals for hubby).

Now, my hubby could join me and eat what I was cooking. Ah, cooking! Yes, I’d been missing that. Something about the smell of food cooking. Pleasing aromas.

I decided to commit to eating a carnivore diet for at least 3 days. Perhaps a week or more if I noticed any difference. In particular, I wanted to see if the number would go down on the scale! Ha!

The first day

I ate my regular breakfast. One ruby red grapefruit. (and no, I doubt grapefruit is on the Carnivore Diet but I love grapefruit and still had a bag of them in the fridge that I wasn’t going to waste).

For lunch, I modified my green smoothie to only 2 handfuls of kale, 1 frozen banana, and 1 cup frozen strawberries, and WATER to blend. No almond milk. No coconut milk. No protein powders. (‘d been adding almond or coconut milk before and using up protein powder I’d had on hand–this time, I was going to go “bare bones” and see if it made a difference).

Mid-afternoon, I felt a little hungry and ate two Paleovalley beef sticks (that we’ve had stored for over a year–I love their turkey sticks).

For dinner, hubby and I both thoroughly enjoyed a lamb shoulder and a ribeye steak! It was the first lamb I had cooked in years (I had to look up the broiling time), and it was the first time I’d used the broiler since we moved to the condo last September!

We following Dr. Berry and Kelly’s advice and only seasoned these with salt and freshly ground black pepper. YUM! I have always loved lamb and never needed mint jelly. I did miss having a small 3 to 4 ounce crystal glass of red wine with this, but I focused on how indulgent the meat with it’s accompanying fat (another thing I’ve always loved about steak), so in moments I wasn’t even thinking about the wine (and I did have 3 bottles in the kitchen, so… willpower! Haha!). I also had a thought that the 4 Rivers barbecue sauce would be lovely on the side of the steak, but I abstained from that too.

The second day

The second day of my carnivore trial run was on a Saturday.

Now the real test was if I could get through a whole day on nothing but what I’d bought the night before and what we’d had on hand–without feeling like I needed to go buy any missing ingredients (something that always seemed to happen to me whenever I started a new diet).

The morning after my first carnivore day, and drumroll please… I lost 1.7 pounds!

To say I was shocked is an understatement!

What’s more, I had no cravings the night before. Usually I’d want a Werther’s Original caramel hard candy, or small square of dark chocolate, 3 or 4 ounces of dry red wine, something at the end of the day–especially on a Saturday night while sitting at home, watching a couple of movies. NOPE! Not this time.

This time, I had a couple of scrambled eggs for breakfast about 11:30am and a Paleovalley meat stick around 1pm. I didn’t make a smoothie today.

Dinner was a big ribeye steak grilled on the stove in my cast iron grill pan with a bit of grass-fed ghee on the pan (because I thought the steak might stick–it didn’t).

Again, I had a thought that some red wine might taste great with this, but I let the thought go pretty easily and did not succumb to it. And again I was surprised that I didn’t want any other bite of anything.

The third day

The third day of my carnivore adventure was on a Sunday.

I drank 32 ounces of water, went to the bathroom, and had a good BM. Well-formed. No smell. Substantial. (Yes, we talk sh*t here in this blog. Haha!)

Weighed in and had lost, or gently released shall I say, more than another pound! 1.1 pounds to be exact. Again, I am happily impressed!

I treated hubby and myself to a big brunch of 3 scrambled eggs (each), leftover ribeye, and chopped Paleovalley beef sticks. I did add a couple ounces of raw goat cheese to the pan of eggs and meat.

Since we ate after noon today, we ate dinner about 6pm and actually, it wasn’t enough! I’d bought a package of chicken wings but didn’t look at the weight. The package was just over a pound (and I’m supposed to eat a pound of meat for myself). Hmm, what to do!

I hadn’t cooked chicken at home in YEARS. So, I got the fry pan ready with the ghee in it and good and warm. I cooked the whole package of wings and when I could tell (by slicing into a few with a knife) that they were done, hubby and I shared (he had 5 and I had 4). I knew I would probably still be hungry, and I was. So, I ate another Paleaovalley turkey stick. And then, I waited. I didn’t feel full, but I wasn’t hungry. So, I drank another 32 ounce glass of water and had a cup of herb tea.

That got me through a movie and couple of Westworld series episodes (as last night was the premiere of the new season)! Love that show!

Morning of the fourth day

As you may suspect by now, yes, I lost another 1.1 pounds!!!

Okay, this is convincing me that for now at least, I am going carnivore! LOL

But I am going to have my grapefruit in the morning (the next few mornings), until that bag is gone. And I’m going to make my kale, strawberry, and banana smoothie this afternoon. I will post again in a few weeks and let you know the progress.

We have a big bag of shrimp in the freezer and salmon filets–so that will be dinner today/tomorrow. After that, we will be on vacation for a week, so we’ll see if I can stick to this during that time. If not, I’ll restart the Carnivore Diet when we come home.

I’ve noticed that a big part of this diet, other than all the meat and animal products, is learning how to read and abide by our own personal hunger cues (instead of looking a the clock) to know when it’s supposed to be time to eat.

I put what kale I had left (after making my smoothie today) in the Vitamix with some water and poured into an ice cube tray to use if I make a beef stew or such.

Wrap up session using Integrated Spiral

The following wraps up our example session and my previous post, where we used the Integrated Spiral™ DE-Program as a method of organizing our handwritten notes (which had previously been an unorganized, chaotic pile of note cards): https://sheilamurrey.net/2022/06/04/going-deep-with-integrated-spiral/.

Hello everybody, my name is Sheila Murrey and I run a DE-Program called, Integrated Spiral™. This DE-Program can be used in a multitude of ways, as it’s a way of getting thoughts out of our heads (easing anxious thoughts), feeling heard and supported (by sharing in an intimate group), and putting our ideas into action (be it writing a book, creating a course, or preparing a business plan)! And now, this article wraps up the example we worked through on June 4th, 2022.

At this point, we have the pieces of information organized. Our example was to take a lot of disparate notes and create one large task, like writing a book, or developing a program or a course, or even starting a business (because we have acquired a LOT of information over our years on the earth). Haha!

We took physical action and moved our information from the 3.5 x 5 cards to whatever computing application or tool we had available. Or if we didn’t have the app or tool that we thought we might need, we downloaded and installed that.

In my previous example, we had moved all of our information to a mind map, as shown:

How the Spiral process helps

Whenever you’re interrupted or distracted from working on your project, the spiral holds space for you to stop (with different topics in play) and restart without any need to work on a schedule. You can always interweave any rabbit holes you’ve gone down as well, into the spiral pattern.

When I started working on a new course within Integrated Spiral™, I used this process and found it most effective and satisfying Indeed, the process eased the pressure off.

Copying and pasting

From the mind map, copy and paste headings and text content into whatever format needed to complete your project. For blog posts (like this one), I usually skip the mind map and move my text directly into an app on my phone, such as the WordPress app when the outcome I desire is a blog article. But for anything else, I either copy and paste into an email and send it to myself, or any kind of notes app on my phone.

Note: I quit using the Notes app on my iPhone this year because I found it was auto-saving each and every note I opened in the app and creating a gmail message, which was filling up my gmail account and I didn’t want 1000 versions of notes in my gmail account. I have been emailing myself snippets of content and using my unread emails as a way to prompt me to complete each task, whether it be adding that content to a draft version of something on my computer or creating a social media post, etc.

Here’s a quick list of applications and tools you may consider using (even for simply one part of your project) depending upon the outcome desired:

  • WordPress app (I use the app on my phone to begin a draft, then complete each blog article from the browser WordPress app on my laptop)
  • Word (on a PC), Pages (on a Mac), or Docs (Google Docs) for any written text
  • Excel (on a PC), Numbers (on a Mac), or Sheets (found within Google Docs) application for any kind of accounting or sorting project, like a budget or list of titles you want to alphabetize
  • PowerPoint (on a PC), Keynote (on a Mac), or Slides (Google Docs) for any kind of course or presentation
  • Forms (on a PC), Forms (Google Docs) for any kind of online forms creation software, such as: 123FormBuilder, Cognito Forms, Form.io, Form Tools, JotForm, Ninja Forms, TellForm, Typeform, or Wufoo.
  • Facebook “Story” builder (can create and not publish a story and screen capture to use their backgrounds) for building social media memes
  • SurveyMonkey for online surveys

Create a draft version

Weave all of your parts or chapters together to form the draft version. You might consider sharing the draft with several beta testers (those friends or family, even other WordPress readers) who will read your work and spot any details you may have missed, such as spelling, grammar, or overall readability.

Make any changes to the draft that are necessary.

If you are creating a book or course, you may want to copy and paste your content into specific proprietary systems such as WordPress or Smashwords for self-publishing. Or at this point, you could send your edited manuscript to an editor or publisher.

FEELING check point

One of the big benefits of this process is the feelings of ease that are built into it.

How are you feeling now?

You’ve had to search and find a few tools perhaps. Did that grow your curiosity? Good!

You’ve had to stop to take care of anything else pressing. When you returned to this task, did you find it easier? You could find your place to begin again, with ease?

Now, that you’re nearing completion, are you feeling the accomplishment in this? And yes, mental ease? If so, brilliant! That’s a big benefit of this DE-Program philosophy and loose framework.

Integrated Spiral™ Daily Gratitude F-L-O-W

Let’s do this main process WITHIN Integrated Spiral™. (As before, I’m letting you ALL in on a bit of a secret! Shhhh… haha!)

Perform the DAILY Gratitude F-L-O-W consisting of the following movements:

  • Bow flow, sweep hands together – from the outside in
  • From the inside tap or pat, hug and swipe the body
  • Think/Consider: Ancestors. Breath. Water. Spiral blood flow. Foods that nourish.

This is the morning gratitude ritual we can do before we begin work (on anything) and at the end to honor and release our time.

Breathe with the movements. From and with an open heart in all directions. Movement starts from the inside. Turn, turn turn in the image of the spiral. Food starts from the outside. Gratitude for all inside and outside. “We can choose the thoughts we dwell on” Les Brown. That’s a quote. Think: Listen to what I tell myself. How am I doing? Scale radius units human ratios universe. Observational units unified physics, energy mass surface to volume, ratio relationships, effects (Nassim Haramein) and the division of space and space memory. Electromagnetism diverging opposite of gravity, converging one attracts, one repels. Divergent and convergent.

Rest in the spaces between and the thoughts grow larger with practice, mind my own energy or manage my own energy. We are each a fractal of Omniscience.

We work, honor, rest, and meditate while playing in the space of the Integrated Spiral™.

Spiral summary list

In summary, the main ideas are to:

  • Use the Integrated Spiral™ process to ease your mind and move thoughts to index cards, talking through the cards and recording using Otter to transcribe
  • Organize the cards in a spiral fashion to bring order and a feeling of space in and leave room to add, as well as hold space for when you are distracted
  • Stack (by turning each category of cards a quarter turn and placing on top of each other) if you have to stop the process at any point and clear the table, bed, or floor space where you’ve been working
  • Mind map for additional clarity, as needed (and if desired) especially helpful if you’ll reuse chunks of content for additional projects
  • Copy and paste from the mind map (or Otter file if you skipped the mind mapping) to whichever phone app or computing tool you think will work best depending up the outcome you desire
  • Create a draft version
  • Find willing victims (hehe) readers to beta test the project, read the book, take the course, or join the program
  • Edit and polish (before copying and pasting into final a proprietary system, especially if you’re using something like Smashwords to self-publish a book)
  • Send the manuscript to an editor or publisher, or choose to self-publish
  • Everything happens for a reason and purpose. So, our purpose here is to “connect the dots” as we bridge Heaven to Earth. See my previous blog dedicated to we’re all connected, you may wish to read.

Shari Hinkle’s book, New Perspectives, Past Lives is a book that I spent quite a while reading as it touched me deeply. Knowing Shari personally, having traveled with her (and a group) to Ireland, England, and Scotland in the summer of 2019 helped too, as I could hear her voice in my head as I read, and put a frame around some things she’s told me.

Meet Shari

Massage therapist, Pilates instructor, and new author, Shari Hinkle, Connects with me on so many levels! And we can talk for hours, even while she’s massaging this body that I inhabit! LOL (then again, I am always intrigued and asking questions of most of my massage therapist (LMT) friends! Go figure!)

Shari and I seek and observe (and then share) many of the synchronicities that we each experience. Interconnections and Vibrations

Throughout New Perspectives, Past Lives, Shari offers us more about how everything is interconnected through Vibration. She explains why we use phrases like, “feeling blue,” “out of the blue,” and “green with envy.” (Remember, color is a vibration).

Shari also explores how our soul can draw us to a physical place and location, such as how we were drawn to the Sacred Sites of visit Ireland, England, and Scotland. She calls this kind of draw an “energy of connectedness.”

Layers of Energy

Shari writes about the layers of Energy and lessons she learned from re-experiencing her past lives through her hypnosis past life regressions sessions with Patricia McGivern.

Shari was re-introduced to characters as she made her way through a series of past life regressions with Patricia, and some of those persons (or personages) were people she’s met in THIS life! Baffling and thrilling, right? I won’t spoil it for you, but when you read it, look closely at the character, Gilda.

In one past life, Shari learned that “There is Power in the Pause.” (capitals mine) I meditated on that sentence for some time. (And as you may remember I love the book, Power over Force, and as a writer the word Power tends to always leap off a page!)

I found that Shari’s way of explaining bodily sensations were unique in this book, and I believe that’s because of the training in massage and Pilates she’s had. She puts a special spin on things that I’ve felt but had a hard time describing! Here’s one quick example,

Loving reminders

In New Perspectives, Past Lives, Shari touched on something one of my grandfathers always used to say, “Stop and smell the flowers.” Statements such as these, as I read them, make me feel as though my family on the other side of The Veil are sitting beside me! Ah! Love it.

Some layers of stuck energy actually hinder us from living up to our highest potential, or keep us from “shining bring” as Shari says. I know after our trip to the Sacred Sites on our Sacred Celtic Journey in July 2019, I began writing emails–even business emails–starting with the words, “Hello bright shining ones.” I had never done that before!

If you think re-living a past life experience might be painful, know that a hypnotherapist can bring you back to reality very quickly. And that immediately, or within some short time period following the session, you’ll probably feel relief (either physical, mental, or emotional) from having gone through the process and released something that had been bound in that former life. That’s certainly been my experience, as well as gain broader, deeper, and a much more intimately personal understanding of spirit, Omniscience God, sense of Compassion for others, and ALL.

When was the last time you felt GREAT?

I woke up one morning with this question in my mind, “When was the last time I felt GREAT?”

Have you ever asked yourself that question???

Almost immediately after asking myself this question, I answered myself “When I was eating raw food”!

Thus, I looked up Dan McDonald, The Life Regenerator on my email (as I have followed him for YEARS, even though I’d quit eating 100% raw in 2008).

I bought an hour personal consult with Dan and his team was so responsive! Within a couple of days, I was on the phone with him and he was just as real (honest-to-God authentic and humble human being), as I’d always thought he might be (from feeling like I knew him from his MANY enlightening YouTube videos)!

I recorded the call on my laptop, so I could listen over and over to keep myself motivated and encouraged. (And yes, I have needed to listen to our conversation again after a couple of weeks.)

I’d received an email from Dan (before our call – from his mass email list) about eating nothing but citrus fruits! I’d never thought of that before, nor had I ever eating strictly one type of foods. Even when I was a raw vegan for one year, I’d eaten quite a variety of raw fruits and vegetables.

So, a couple of days before our phone consult, I began eating several varieties of citrus fruit, and drinking lemon and lime infused water. And by the time we talked, I was really ready to HEAR and embody Dan’s advice.

I decided to commit to eating this way for the month of March 2022 or longer. I committed to being really AWARE of how I feel before, during, and after eating. I began taking it “one day at a time.” And so far, so good!

To date, I have released 10 pounds in 2 weeks and feel GREAT!

Now, the weight loss has subsided a bit and I have incorporated celery and avocados into my daily diet, for dinner. I had felt I just needed a bit more fiber and fat to help move stuff through my body. And a couple times I did have romaine lettuce, basmati rice and saag spinach paneer for dinner too.

For me, right now, this is of value. And I’ll continue to adjust daily as needed. But this way of eating has brought a lot of LIGHT into my body, as Dan said it would. And I feel it!

Update: I see the Ego in the salad (like Dan said too). And come on! Back to the citrus. Maybe fruitarian IS in my future. Hmmm

Why do we feel worthless?

Found this in my Notes and thought I’d share it. After all, it’s a new year. Plus, I read it whenever I sense that I am “out of the vortex.”

Setup

Say the following to get into the vortex (especially when feeling stupid, bad, flawed, or worthless):

We are still a work of art in progress!

I (or anyone whom I am talking with at a precise moment in time) might not be in their peak moment of happiness that day, but if I question myself or the other person differently (or ask again another day), I can bring myself/them around/persuade them — to elicit an answer.

We know art is imperfect and we find perfection in the imperfection.

At one previous moment I was unhappy with myself for my lack of discipline and my lack of applying myself. And I said:

I can do better than I’ve been doing. I want to do better than I’ve been doing. I would say that for the majority of my life I’ve been doing the best I could do from where I was at the time.

All that’s happened to me lately is that I’ve gained some insight and I haven’t been able to change my habits to keep up with my new insights, so I’m being extra hard (or a little bit hard) on myself right now.

All that is happening now is, my resistance hasn’t gotten greater, but rather my awareness of what its like in the vortex has just gotten greater, so my resistance just feels worse. I’m not doing worse, I’m doing better.

I’m actually doing better than I’ve ever done before. No one has ever asked me, and I’m not asking it of myself, to figure it out all at once I realize life’s a journey.

I’m doing just fine. I’d like it to go faster though.

I would like to draw in the people, places, and things to make my life work better. I’d like to apply myself a little bit more deliberately.

I sense that I’ve been shooting myself in the foot because I’ve sort of been trying too hard. I get it now – that to take action and make something happen before I’ve gotten into a better feeling place is counter productive.

If I’ve been guilty of anything, I’ve been guilty of wanting too much! But I can’t ask for less than what I know I have come to be, or accomplish.
I have been wanting more than I have been in a vibrational place to allow. And now that I know how to shift my vibration I’ll do better. Yes!

I’m going to ease up on myself. Take it easy. Have some fun with this!

I’m going to be freer and easier about this. I’m not going to bad mouth myself or anyone. I’m going to give myself a break.

I’ve been working on this. I’ve been diligent. I am getting better. I know Source is within me. Source is as close to me as my breath. Source lives in me! I know Source is calling me. I feel the vibration of Source often — GodBumps!

I know I can do this. I’m looking forward to doing this. I’m going to get in the vortex on a regular basis. I like doing this. I like the idea of being in the vortex.

I can feel clarity flowing through. I’m far from being worthless, I’m actually very valuable to others.

I love being in the vortex!

What to do

Now write this again from the negative place of martyrdom, feeling the need to work hard, sacrifice for others or for old age, etc.

I judge and resent another because they have no work ethic, no sense of fair play, don’t follow the rules, and no team player! Why??

Because I was raised to play fair, nice, work hard and when I didn’t, when I slipped up, I got in trouble, didn’t get a raise, etc. in fact I am still pretty pissed off about it!!

I realize that I have been resentful of those lazy people because I was raised to work hard and achieve. Maybe not over achieve but the vibration is the same.

One example

In one particular situation (because we are observers, aren’t we), I had almost gotten over it (after watching someone get away with not showing up for work, being hours late, etc. for THREE years), I was sick one week and took a Monday off.

I had pushed my limits to work three 10 hour days, which meant I was at work til 4:30-5pm. On that Tuesday, I didn’t see that someone at all and I was at work til 5pm. Thursday, I saw that person come in at 4:30. Yet, I observed that individual put down 8 hours for each of the five days this week on their timecard!!!

The person came in only to attend the Tech Writer meeting, saw I wasn’t there, came back to get their notebook, and upon seeing me, asked if I was coming to the meeting! I snapped about being sick and said person walked away.

Less than five minutes later, my then boss, came to talk with me and I totally confronted her about it and explained that I had sent an email. I was not going to attend and No, means No.

After the meeting was over, the always late person was gone before 1pm and never came back.

I saw this happen again the week before I received my new AND BETTER job offer — and I didn’t allow it to bother me! It had bothered me long enough by then!

How long is enough?

Maybe that is really the question.

How long do we allow are observations to affect us in a negative way?

Five years later

Yes! Now, I will join. I will speak up.

I will share.

I show respect, love, kindness, and compassion to all — even the ones (whom some aspects of ME do not like, actually abhor).

Jesus said we are called to “love thine enemies.” For such a time as this. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

I know the road is narrow for those of us who strive to LOVE during all times.

Know that for every precious one of us who is striving to love, not condemn, not judge, it all matters. Each of us and each of the choices we make, indeed flow into the WHOLE.

We Are All Connected.

What LIGHTS me up? Divine Flame

What is it that lights me up? What’s the Divine Flame?

My purpose is what lights me up.

I sit and look at my PEACE board that I drew for my Integrated Spiral™ program. And what I see, what I know is that I AbSOULutely love to talk and share from my Soul about holistic health, healing, transformation, and of course, Omniscience God and Spirit! ❤️🦋🌀

Per my body graph:When I feel resistance, or frustrated, it is because I made a decision by mental reasoning. My strategy is to respond until I feel satisfied. Unless I am a subtype of Manifestor, my job was never to be the Peacemaker I felt forced to be.

Yesterday, I let go…

Divine Flame

I let go of a 3 year friendship and wellness community (of which I had been a vocal and very visible part of—both on social media and blogging). Done.

Pain pushes until vision pulls.

I walked barefoot in the hot Florida sand.

I cried cleansing tears for less than 5 minutes.

My grief turned to compassion easily. —That’s because I do my Byron Katie “turnarounds.” And “go general” as Abraham-Hicks say. I am very adept at finding my next better feeling thought.

I worked my program of Spiral mechanics on my feelings. —I go deep to rise above, remembering what I have learned from my teachers (Dispenza, Lipton, Hof, Beckwith, Sadhguru, Lama Nicholas, Terrence McKenna, etc) so I can integrate and embody MORE.

What happened? WHY end a friendship?

NO ONE seems suspicious of the mainstream narrative. And while I am not necessarily suspicious, I do question and push back when I feel the need to take care of myself. I still Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life! Yes, I do! I read my own book over and over to remind mySelf.

Until now, for most of my life of 59 years, I have been a peacemaker. I would most naturally choose to back down from a confrontation.

But I am becoming more discerning.

I used to walk away from a fight because when one walks away, the fight ends. I learned that from the years I watched my parents argue, yell, and bicker. It’s the path of least resistance for me. Call it a coping skill. Whatever. It worked for me. It allowed me to give myself compassion. To love mySelf.

So, I don’t judge mySelf for that.

Yes, I have burned bridges in the past. It was necessary and I have no regrets. It kept me “safe.” Whatever that really means.

But NOW?

Now, I want to stand my sacred ground.

I don’t want to back down.

My Irish ire is up. Haha!

I have grown a backbone.

I know I’m a good person. But it’s more than that, (and because I know we are Energy beings, and that it’s ALL ENERGY), I am a multidimensional WHOLE person, who is worthy of being heard, at least, if not respected or honored. Those are all just labels anyway.

Yes, I am worthy to BE HERE NOW. Bless it!

Yesterday. I was triggered by certain personal messages and responses, that differed from past conversations on the particular triggering topic, which I totally had not expected. Yep, I was blind-sided.

In the online community, of which we are both a part of many are supportive of each other. And I was often told what a wonderful person I was when introductions were made. We were supposed to be uplifting, inclusive, spreading love & light, ETC.

Well, I’m apparently not so wonderful anymore! Make one perceived misstep and it’s judgment city! Ha!

I simply brought an issue to light that a simple, “okay” would have been all the communication I needed. If that had happened, everyone would have easily moved on with their day. But, noooo!

Thus today, I witness the power of the Divine Flame 🔥 to burn away what isn’t necessary in my life and clear another path forward. We’re off to see the wizard, as the song says! ❤️🦋🌀🎼〰️🔥🙏☯️

Themes that runs through my life

  • Airwaves
  • Connection
  • CB Radio
  • Voice (Human Design speaks to this too, i.e. Throat – useful in getting attention)
  • Tone
  • Singing
  • Ego / Not being heard/acknowledged. My Spirit knows it doesn’t really matter. And that what does matter is ALIGNMENT
  • Healing: colitis/asthma all seeking peace from stress, hostility, fear, self preservation because I felt suffocated

  • Loved chiropractic and how good it made my body feel, breathe easier
  • Loved to play not fight – why did others break my toys?

  • Deep thinker from talking more with adults than children when I was growing up

  • Loved to play on the tracks / golf course, both opposite ends of my street*

My Mission is unfolding

I’m noticing that a person’s mission can be different throughout life. I desire my mission to fulfill my purpose.

How?

Perhaps by doing all of the following:

  • Blogging
  • Writing books
  • Creating courses
  • Public speaking
  • Vlogging
  • Podcasting
  • Singing
  • Emceeing events

What’s a crazy thing I could do?

Put on a huge event showcasing ENERGY (Resonance Academy types, solar and off grid types, original music / songwriters, hand crafting artisans, storytellers, alchemists, holistic wellness practitioners, yogis, etc.)

What’s in my way?

What actions am I not taking?
What are my excuses?
What’s the real reason, belief that is holding me back?

Fear of Failure Fear of Success (I’ll have to quit my job, and my struggle is hugely tied to my education and career)

Fear of being told to “just get over yourself” (which I’ve already heard twice since starting to share my unapologetic truths), so guess I should just go BIG

Fear I don’t have a thick enough skin (because I’m so raw, empath)

Too old and not have enough energy

Fear of uncontrolled outcomes (like shock of spider, snake appearing on me)I can’t handle it (At the bottom of every fear)

Fear of upsetting those I love or who love me

What are the turnarounds?

Now, to TURN those around.

I have been successful in life.

I have failed, been scared, and risen from the ashes!

I have survived much worse than somebody’s judgement

I am continually growing my skin and participate in Empath Evolution and Women’s Soul Journey.

I’m wise and age is just a number. Look at all those older than me doing amazing things!

I don’t have to know how to handle every shocking event! Yet, I can handle it.

I will manage it (step by step).

We’re meant to do hard things.

Being unapologetic is freeing.

Who DO I think I am?

Look at what your ancestors struggled through to bring YOU into the world!! I acknowledge my ancestors DAILY

Don’t keep writing your future from your past. Write about the feelings of it, and then the details.

Well, sort of. I mean, I can do click bait too, right?

Here’s some feeling good Aha moments that came to me after performing in a “Breakthrough” transformational performance program a few years ago:

  • Don’t ever believe it when someone tells you to “get off your high horse”!
  • I CAN “get on my high horse”!! Ha!!
  • I don’t have to lose my “humble and giving” nature to be all I can be!
  • I know what is good for me!
  • I am worthy!
  • I am loved!
  • I don’t have to hide the real me from anyone.
  • I learned a quick standing method to clear my chakras and I use it every day! Thanks Tess!
  • I still love and take care of my family and friends. I do not have to put “others first.”
  • I am never to old to have fun!
  • I don’t have to have a perfect body to be a singer/performer (Adele, Oprah, Chaka Kahn, several others were curvy ladies, yet still did what they love!)
  • I love the song we all sang together called, “Free to be me” which later in the year, during my Sedona trip, our group of 15 ladies sang!!! 

Karma

Watching karma happen to people who betrayed or hurt you.

Sometimes that feels good huh?

Karma. What comes around, goes around.

Watching someone get what’s coming to them, somehow justifies the truth you felt about them when they were acting (for a day, week, month, or year) like an a$$h0le. Yes? No? Haha!

Well, hear this.

As you justify yourself about that person or specific situation, you are MISSING something right NOW! A moment of relaxation. The pleasant blow of the warm breeze that’s just the perfect temperature for you. A person walking by whom you could have spoken to (that you will never have that unique opportunity again). A kiss from your loved one (who will not always be there).

So, be aware.

Aware more and more.

Awake and aware to all kinds of pleasing potentiality in your moments. The moments that life shows you, presents to you, all kinds of opportunities to be happy, or opportunities to be pissed off.It is YOUR choice, which way you want to feel. Every. Single. Day.

Know that each person or situation to appears to cause you pain or conflict, is in your experience to teach you something. When you analytically search for the source of pain in your body you will not find any independent inherent existance of it. Difficulties are a dillusion. Pain is not solid or real. It is like a mirage in the desert.

A benefit of knowing that We Are All Connected (really see the interrelatedness of all) is that we can release our mind of anger.

Here are some example scenarios:

Karma #1

A certain particular person I knew years ago, lost her job. When a friend told me, I felt ecstatic! Why?

I usually don’t feel good about another’s misfortune. I went back through my notes and found the reason. This person had been a stumbling block in my career–but, there’s no point in digging back into the details or the Energy of it now.

Thankfully, my career rebounded, and as readers of my book know, I took it upon myself to get well by natural means–and since 2005, have been able to travel as much as I want. Ha!

Karma #2

A guy that dumped me years ago, (after a relatively short relationship) told a friend of mine, that his wife is crazy. (I don’t know why my friend felt the need to share this with me, but I’m using it as an example.) This “man” is upset because his wife doesn’t want to have children and apparently, he married her in order to HAVE children. Oh my! People DO change their minds, after all. Things like this happen all the time.

So, did he have a relationship with me (years ago) because he couldn’t be with my friend back then? Or, is he feeding my friend a “line” to lure her into an affair? Perhaps, he’s simply an a$$h0le?

What comes around, goes around.

I realize it sounds like I’m jealous. But, I’m not. (I am so NOT a jealous person.) Yet, I feel sad for my friend and hope she sees through this guy– Then again, it’s HER life!! And NONE of this is any of MY business anyway.

In fact, everything I lived in the past has brought me to the place that I’m at NOW, with so much awareness, and appreciation, and awe that ALL has turned out the way it has. And that my life, now, is GRAND! In fact, from my vantage point today, I’d say that I am living my BEST LIFE!

I am the evidence of my well being.

When I feel great, resonating with and IN all that the Universe is providing, in that moment, it’s AMAZING! However, some others shrink back from it. Why? Why must some shrink to feel comfortable around others? Or why must others need to feel important to make others feel less? It’s an interesting conundrum, but one that I believe is answered in the yin and yang of it ALL.

Do you “get” why things are changing?

Think about the 1960s.

I am a child of the sixties. Born in the very early sixties, I remember watching president John F. Kennedy’s funeral procession (probably from the many replays).

The first transatlantic satellite transmission occured during the year I was born, so is it any wonder I believe We Are All Connected?

I remember the hellish Vietnam war and how many people seemed to snub their noses toward the courageous troops when they returned home to the U.S.A.

I grew up as an only child during a time when television was young and exciting, and could often be used as a co-parenting device. Big stereos, stuffed toy transistor radios, and Citizen Band (CB) radios were fairly common and certainly found in our household–as I’ve written about before, my dad ran an electronics business on the side for many years.

Dad could “talk skip” with people across the ocean on a clear late night. And that would always fascinate me. I would fall asleep listening to the ping from his Browning Golden Eagle and Linear and the jokes of Johnny Carson.

I would dream of where electricity came from! I would follow the wires as we drove somewhere and then ask my mom (who was dumbfounded) that her 6 year old would ask such thought provoking questions! Then again, she knew I was smart.

It’s really very simple, people in pain cause other people pain. You can only then resolve to suffer with your pain or resolve to do whatever it takes to relieve your pain. Setting boundaries work for me, and believe me, I’m much better at setting boundaries, now.
