Ah, doesn’t the TV series, Dexter, just check all of our multifaceted and moral ambiguity boxes?!? Ugh, yeeeaaasssss! A guilty pleasure to watch, I say.
Moral ambiguities abound
Sometimes most of us, if we’re honest, while taking a fearless moral inventory, have wished to take out vengeful, violent retribution on someone at some time in our lives. I can’t be alone in this. Especially when one considers Dexter’s appeal.
Even if we catch our vengeful thought before it becomes a feeling. Even if we feel the tug before intellectualizing it. It’s there. Seething. That righteous moral authority to take action to right a wrong or save an innocent from harm.
I think this is why we like, or dare I say, love, Dexter Morgan. The handsome yet unassuming Clark Kent type star character of the show that bears his name.
First came the original Dexter series. Ah! Miami. I loved the setting for this series. It gave me Miami Vice vibes. Of course also because it was another police drama. But Dexter had more of a gritty edge. Dexter was brilliantly written (where sadly, Miami Vice fell flat in its story lines on several episodes).
And the original Dexter spent a good chunk of time building and fleshing out great characters! Something Miami Vice attempted to do, but didn’t quite accomplish. (I always wanted more background on Gina and more martial arts from Lt. Castillo). The Shield (plenty of moral ambiguities on it as well) actually did a better job.
The original Dexter also had incredible guest stars, like John Lithgow and Tom Hanks’ son, Colin Hanks. Now, Keith Carradine was pretty amazing too, as well as the lovely Julie Benz.
Now, I must admit, I have always been a Michael C. Hall fan too, since Six Feet Under (another one of my favorite shows, and another show full of moral ambiguities too!). So, right off the bat, Dexter was a must see. And every season of the original was expertly executed IMHO. The writing from Scott Buck returns (yes, Scott was also a writer on Six Feet Under), and he’s even sharper this time around! (Pun happily intended.) You know Dexter’s adopted father, played by the fantastic James Remar, had to have come from Buck because it’s a play right out of Six Feet Under!
The Dexter franchise can keep growing as far as I’m concerned, it’s continuing to explode and explore multifaceted possibilities.
In Dexter: New Blood, Dexter has a son, played by Jack Alcott, who is fast becoming adept at continuing to “follow the code.” He eerily seems very good at following in Dexters footsteps, while bringing his own heart and style to the table. The supporting cast in this show is amazing too!
In Dexter: Original Sin, Patrick Gibson is well cast as a young Dexter and almost creepily gives us something that’s not often found. A way to look back in time and into the formation of the mind of our anti-hero. And I’m a big Christian Slater fan, so though Scott Buck was missing from the writing cast on this show, I couldn’t keep from watching this with glee! I thought most of the cast were spot on in their portrayal of their characters. Almost as if in reality they are big fans of the original Dexter too!
Of course by Dexter: Resurrection we get several of the characters from the original Dexter back, including James Remar (yay!), which is deliciously delightful. Plus, some characters (the ones who didn’t make it to the series end) return within memory flashbacks—three guesses as to why!
This franchise TV series may be sinful, and one I will have to answer for one day, but if it quenches any hint of me committing any physical act of moral retribution, while entertaining me… ah, how could it be that bad?

I know I haven’t written much lately. I’ve been reblogging more than writing personal thoughts. We’ve had a lot going on here and anticipate a busy summer. Thus, forgive me, but I imagine most of you are busy too!
We had an excellent time with our three granddaughters; our 13 year old was lead in the school play (Matilda Jr. if you know it), and graduated (called a promotion ceremony here). We attended both at her middle school. She finished 8th grade with academic honors. And we were thrilled for her!
Our three granddaughters walking into the school, hand-in-hand. Isn’t that so cute? (And no, I am not allowed to post faces publicly.) She wore a long dress but added a shirt on top that I had given her years ago, which made her ensemble all the more special to me. She thought it might be cool in the auditorium. It wasn’t. But her dress had spaghetti straps and she liked the look of the shirt as a cover; I think it worked well too. Aww!
Spiral thought: As the children walked to receive their certificates of accomplishment, I noticed that many of the girls looked older than 13 years of age. I don’t know if it’s from the additives in our foods or what, but I had a moment when I thought, “Guys should ‘card’ every girl before asking them out.” Yes, apparently I have been watching too many YouTube true stories of young people falling into bad situations. Ugh!
At any rate, from simply having one errant thought or observation like this, I then proceeded to work my spiral process (silently to myself in that moment), as to why such a thought occurred to me! I quickly shifted back to Presence to truly enjoy the whole event—including family photos at its conclusion. No tears. No worries!
I say this to show you that I am continually clearing thoughts for myself that crop up, that are either from some negative past experience, or from something negative I’ve watched. I sure don’t want to allow negative thoughts to grow or bring about any further negative experience in my life or anyone in our circle! And yes, Expanding Consciousness does allow for ALL manifestations. Think weeds in the garden! We must have an awareness our thoughts so we CAN prune the unwanted ones! That’s the whole purpose of mindfulness and meditation!
Now, my Theosophy book club continues, as well as personal book zooms with authors (let me know if you’re interested in booking those with me). I also continue to attend the lovely and lively monthly Dr. Bruce Lipton zoom calls—I went Live with Bruce on the most recent call, and I will post a snip of that on my YouTube channel soon. I also have a new song to drop on YouTube tomorrow or Wednesday.
I’m preparing for vacation (to attend my 45th high school reunion a few states away mid July). And I have been and will continue spending time with our 8 year old twin granddaughters (as their out of school for the summer). Our eldest is visiting Florida right now for a couple of weeks, otherwise she’d be watching the twins and I would just pop in whenever.

I just finished reading this latest article from Focal Points: Courageous Discourse, Nicolas Hulscher regarding the landmark analyses that debunks three myths about vaccine-induced myocarditis. And it IS a bombshell revelation!
Myth #1: Coronavirus Infections Cause More Myocarditis Than COVID-19 Vaccinations
Young men (<40) were 6× more likely to develop myocarditis after the second Moderna (mRNA-1273) dose than after SARS-CoV-2 infection (97 vs. 16 cases per million).
VAERS data show myocarditis reports were 223× higher following COVID-19 vaccination than the combined average for all other vaccines over the past 30 years, reflecting a 2500% increase.
From May 2021 to Nov 2024, 90% of case reports (241 out of 267) on PubMed identified mRNA vaccination—not SARS-CoV-2 infection—as the likely cause of myocarditis.
Infection-linked myocarditis estimates often relied on ICD-10 codes triggered by elevated cardiac troponins, which are non-specific markers and may result from other conditions (e.g., CAD, heart failure, or ICU-level stress).
Troponin elevations were common among ICU COVID-19 patients and frequently misclassified as myocarditis without confirmatory imaging or biopsy.
No histological confirmation (e.g., CMR or autopsy) is typically required for infection-linked myocarditis, while mRNA-associated cases are usually clinically confirmed.
The CARES Act created financial incentives (~$76,000 per case) for hospitals to classify patients as COVID-positive, which, when combined with PCR false positives and troponin tests, likely inflated infection-related myocarditis stats.
SARS-CoV-2 infection incidence is grossly undercounted due to asymptomatic or undocumented cases, leading to inflated myocarditis rates per infection (small denominator problem).
Myth #2: COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Myocarditis is Usually Mild and Transient
Prospective studies (Thailand, Switzerland) found 2.3%–2.8% of recipients had myocardial inflammation or injury post-mRNA dose—1 in 35 to 1 in 43, far exceeding passive surveillance estimates.
In the Swiss cohort, 2.8% showed subclinical myocardial injury after a Moderna booster; median age was 46, and half were asymptomatic, meaning these cases would escape detection in VAERS or EHR-based studies.
CDC-confirmed cases (VAERS, Dec 2020–June 2021): 96% of patients were hospitalized for myocarditis following mRNA vaccination.
Autopsy-confirmed myocarditis was responsible for 7.1% of vaccine-attributed deaths, with most deaths occurring within a week of vaccination.
More than 50% of myocarditis cases show long-term myocardial abnormalities on follow-up cardiac MRI, including late gadolinium enhancement (LGE), which is associated with risk of arrhythmia or heart failure.
Estimated fatality rate for vaccine-induced myocarditis may range between 10–20%—much higher than often reported.
Myth #3: Risk-Benefit Analyses Favor the COVID-19 mRNA “Vaccines”
Direct cardiotoxicity of mRNA vaccines was observed in animal models (cardiomyocyte dysfunction within 48 hours). No such effect has been demonstrated with SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Vaccine-induced myocarditis often presents with acute symptoms, arrhythmias, and heart failure, requiring hospitalization. Despite hospitalization, some cases result in death. Even mild cases may cause lifelong increased risk of heart failure and sudden cardiac arrest due to residual inflammation or scarring.
Myopericarditis risk is higher in young males aged 12–24 after two doses of Moderna (mRNA-1273), requiring age-stratified analysis to avoid masking high-risk subgroups.
Fraiman et al.’s reanalysis of registrational trial data revealed 1 serious adverse event for every 800 vaccine recipients, compared to 1–2 per million for traditional vaccines—a massive safety signal not properly weighed by regulators.
The OpenSAFELY study (n=58 million)found no cases of myocarditis in SARS-CoV-2-infected children, while myocarditis occurred exclusively in vaccinated adolescents.
In the Patone et al. dataset, 16myocarditis events occurred after vaccination in 13–17-year-olds and zerofollowing SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study failed to analyze “day-zero” events post-vaccination and misclassified early post-dose cases as “unvaccinated,” distorting results in favor of the vaccine.
The authors highlight that infection-linked myocarditis is rare and often misdiagnosed, while vaccine-induced cases are confirmed clinically and pathologically, including via autopsyfindings.

As I have written previously, I am of English, Irish, Dutch, German, and Native American lineage (Cherokee tribe). And my grandmother was persecuted for being Native American. Recently, friend and fellow blogger, Michael of 80sMetalMan and Peaceful Rampage reminded me of an old book, Trail of Tears: The Rise and Fall of the Cherokee Nation by John Ehle (1988). I’d begun reading this book years ago and had put it down for a time when I had a bit more control over my emotions. And now seems like a good time to finish reading it.
I’m thinking about reading some of the book aloud and presenting it on my YouTube channel. Would anyone be interested in watching or listening to something like that? Let me know in the comments.

Maureen helped me uncover some new ways of dealing with the tinnitus, and it has been helping to turn down the volume, but I think there’s more going on in my head than what we have uncovered so far.
Maureen suggested I go for a massage, and agreed that seeing a chiropractor could help. I had wanted to see a chiropractor for some time, but hadn’t found one yet. And we have a massage therapist within walking distance, but have I made an appointment yet? Nooo… I don’t know why, other than just not wanting to go out anywhere during the winter (other than once a week with my daughter to pick up groceries).
Though, as it turned out, I did need a massage, but not the kind I would have received from a massage therapist.
I finally found a local chiropractor! And he’s brilliant! He did trigger point therapy on a muscle inside my mouth/jaw area that gave me temporary relief from the tinnitus. And people who experience tinnitus will agree that even a few minutes of relief is worth anything! The chiropractor also reset my neck, which I am sure was a contributing factor.
I still feel like my C1 needs attention, but we’ll see. Dr. B. gave me enough insight into this masseter muscle that I watched some YouTube videos and learned how to do self massage on it and have been massaging it twice a day in between my first and second visit with Dr. B. during this past week.
It may take more sessions to clear this tinnitus thing up. Bonus: Dr. B. resolved the sciatica issue in the first session!
Talking with Maureen and Dr. B. definitely helped me restart some things I had dropped, such as practicing my yoga and mat Pilates. And I decided not to take the 18-week course I had been accepted too (which is why I removed the paragraph about it from an earlier blog post).
Dr. B. gave me some homework too. A way to test myself for yeast overgrowth, which I have done before but not in years.
Spiritually speaking
I have been continuing some one-on-one calls (both on zoom, phone, and individual/group conversations with the 4DU Fellowship group, as well as with my Theosophy book club, so I am pleased with the spiritual progress I’m making, as well as how I can offer support to others. Being of service in this way is very fulfilling. And I believe that’s why I’m here.
I’m considering opening up one or two afternoons a week for consulting calls if anyone is interested. Let me know. I’ll accept donations. No fees. Ever.

I am having client calls as well as healing calls for my Self.
Yesterday, I had a beautiful healing zoom (over 2 hours!) with Maureen Edwardson. She is the founder of Inner Resonance Technologies (her website is: https://maureenedwardson.com/) and author of the book, Your Magical Evolutionary Code Unleashed: The Science of Inner Resonance.

While my chief reason for working with Maureen was to heal the tinnitus I have been experiencing for about two years, we did dive deep into other areas. Spiritual, personal, family relationships, and our mutual love and respect for Dr. Bruce Lipton (who brought us together), Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Gregg Braden. I spoke of a few of the still living spiritual and energy healers I have worked with, and how much I adore Energy Medicine. As well, how I had to expand my view of Omniscience God in 2004 while healing (this body I live in) of asthma.
Since most of my experience was intangible, I do have a fascinating piece of physical evidence that I observed after our session. It’s this never before seen shape within my lava lamp, (that sits on a bookshelf right beside the chair in which I sat) which to me, looks like the entire inside of an EAR! Wow!

Maureen and I have another session next Saturday, so I will write another blog article after that.
We did energetically move the level of the tinnitus sound that I experience in my left ear—from a level 6 to level 4 during the call (self described numbers – using 1 as barely noticeable to 10 unbearable). I experienced some feeling of pressure in it that only lasted a minute or so. Oddly, my right ear had a little twinge and sound then subsided during our call. Something is changing for sure!
Maureen and I had a good time. Laughs and big smiles! And that’s what it’s about: Uplifting each other in JOY!

Things continue moving fast for us. Yes, I probably do THINK too much about others, even people I don’t know personally, but that’s who I am. I am learning about Ontology now though, yes, it’s a thing and it’s research for my 5th book, so there’s that. I wanted to rush outside and TOUCH the wood-burned artwork I bought from Linda (but it was about 10 degrees out on our sun porch where it’s hanging) and it was after 11pm at night when I read her post. Ugh! I always send out waves of healing love though (when I’m not triggered about something), and I’ve had a couple of instances of getting triggered this week too! Spiral thought: I’m always working on my Self.

I’m going to share a few YouTube videos with you, some are my new ones, and a few are about AI music generation. Before you use the link at the bottom (that I’ve shared since I began this new AI songwriting endeavor), There’s a few things to note:
Suffice to say, read the Terms of Service. We won’t put any of our original songs (that we wrote both the music and lyrics for years ago and paid music studios to make pro demos for) on any AI app! Apparently, once you do that, it becomes a nightmare for copyright, and probably the original lyrics become part of the lyrics and musid that the AI reuses in part! It’s messy!
Apparently, the music labels and catalog owners are duking all this out in court because Suno AI and other AI music generation companies ’trained’ their AI algorithms on music readily available on the open internet. Ugh Nothing is safe anymore.

I’m going to get a lot better about specifying which new music contains ALL MY LYRICS, vs. partial AI lyrics. But know that ALL the music is AI generated. And as I create new videos I will make that distinction clear in case there’s any argument in the future WHEN I hit it BIG! Ha!
This is one of my favorites so far, as I hear it in my head before going to sleep at night and when I wake up each morning. Let me know what you think:

Greater Things. This is exactly the same song, but different music from Suno AI. Every time you input lyrics (or even a few words to stimulate AI to write full lyrics) for a song, it will give you two different versions and sometimes it’s hard to choose which one I like best, much less which version you’ll like best. –Sheila Murrey

It started off with a few of the same words to stimulate AI to write full lyrics, and this way, you can get an idea of how it all works when you let Suno AI do the lyrics. Oh, and I’m continuing to learn about how to make these YouTube videos better. Yes, I have illusions of grandeur and I want to make some money from YouTube… but I need at least 1500 followers on there?!? I have a l-o-o-o-o-n-g way to go to do that! Haha!
But I did add some End Screens today, and I feel VERY accomplished. Also, I updated my little mini logo for my YouTube watermark today… woo-hoo! And yes, I still attended and did chat facilitation on my monthly Dr. Bruce Lipton call–it’s my favorite thing each month! Busy bee today! But still got to eat birthday cupcakes and cookies from the twins’ birthday–sad thing, the girls have both been sick so even though we’re right next door, we had to rely on video my daughter took of them opening their gifts. At least we got those treats though! Ha!

Things have been moving so fast for us lately, that I probably won’t be blogging about each and every new music video we put out. But if you follow me on Facebook, LinkedIn, Rumble, or subscribe to our YouTube channels, you’ll get notified each time Richard or I publish a new music video.
I would like to thank those of you who listened to all four of the versions of the Intimacy songs. Based on the feedback and comments, I chose to do two music videos for the original song, IntimacyMatters. I have a dear friend, who loves Country Music, so that version was mostly for her. The other two recent music videos are for the original song, Divine Echo.
I’ve also been working on new songs requested by one of the guys in the Bruce Lipton WhatsApp group I’m in, and another in the 4DU Fellowship group I’m in. So, yes, I’m busy and my book is on hold. But I do feel the song and video creation, along with the Book Club and book calls and edits I’m doing with 80smetalman (see his Peaceful Rampage posts for his book, He Was Weird) give me great joy, and JOY should be our focus. YAY!

I’m always curious which versions you like. Richard says I’m going to be a famous Irish songwriter though I don’t live there, yet! Ha! (Not even kidding, he said after he dies I’ll probably move there. Ugh! I told him, “It’s cold enough here! Ireland is even farther north.” But then quickly added, “We’re going together anyway.” –and that’s a running inside joke between us. That we’ll “go together.” Time will tell. I’m sure not ushering it along for either of us!
