I took a tip from my friend, Linda Lewis in Thailand and began trying my hand at drawing (or sketching). Linda’s can be seen on her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/03/08/sunday-3-8-2026/

And here’s my first attempt at it, and yes, I used my fountain pen:

Juggling for Exercise

A friend who lives in Indiana and travels regularly to Colorado is a juggler and also musician. He has recently began teaching juggling via Zoom! Our first class was loads of fun, and exercise! I hope he will continue to offer these classes. He’s working on his syllabus and researching the mind-body benefits, which I believe will be vast! I felt totally invigorated after my first lesson and am excited to learn more!

Integrating the Spirals – JIGGLE WIGGLE

I’ve rebranded JIGGLE BUTT to JIGGLE WIGGLE per one of my followers comment!

I’m now encouraging those “over 50” to open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up their pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’), become more aware of their thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease, loosen up and move their bodies (too many are stuck in their heads and physically unhealthy), become strong, and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, body. And to question EVERYTHING!

    1. I was surprised I could juggle too, Michael! It’s great exercise (that is when I drop the tennis ball and have to catch/fetch it around this small place). I about drove Richard crazy with one of the balls falling! Ha! I don’t practice it as often as I should. I thought it would be a fun thing to do with my granddaughters outside this spring, AND for when we go camping.

Everyone who has seen that drawing says it looks like something different. And here I thought it was supposed to be a bunny! Ha!

  1. What a lively and inspiring post! I love how you’re exploring so many creative paths—from sketching with a fountain pen to juggling, music, and sharing ideas about health and lifelong learning. Your first sketch sounds charming, and the playful debate about whether it’s a hamster, mouse, or bunny adds a lovely touch of humor.

It’s also wonderful to see the spirit of curiosity and openness that runs through your writing. Encouraging people, especially those over 50, to keep learning, moving, and questioning life with enthusiasm is truly uplifting. Your energy, creativity, and gratitude shine throughout the post.

    1. Thank you so much, Mr. Verma. You’re always so supportive and cheery! I’m glad my post showed a bit of charm. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that compliment before! Yay! And yes, I strive to offer folks ways to stay curious and open to learning new things. There’s so much to learn and explore in this world.
