It’s September 21st, 2024; We have an original country song about coming to one’s senses. When we can’t seem to forget someone. Ray Barnette offered golden vocals on this Steven Cooper production in Nashville, TN. We’re exceedingly grateful.
Here’s the two-hundred-sixty-fifth new music post for 2024, as I consistently showcase one of our 400+ original songs each day this year.
Today’s our eldest granddaughter’s 13th birthday party (it’s not her actual birthday, but she’s only home one weekend a month–due to visitation rules), and we’re taking her to a place she’s always wanted to go. We’ll have cupcakes, cookies, etc. and she’s able to bring a few friends with her as well, so it should be a great time. I will have to miss my monthly Zoom call today with Dr. Bruce Lipton, but I know the group will understand. And I can watch the replay in about a week when Bruce’s nephew, Alex, gets it uploaded to the Bruce Lipton commUnity portal. (I love that!)

Everything happens for a reason
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24!
Yours in expanding, heavenly, spiraling consciousness,
Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

I love quotes.
Also…good song! I’m not a good judge of country music but I like this one.

Sweet, Max. Thank you for checking it out! I love a lot of different music (even some rap)! LOL
I am mostly drawn to rock though.

I have lived near Nashville all of my life…so it’s been thrown at me since birth but I rebelled and caught on to British Rock of the 60s and 70s…I do like the classic artists like Merle Haggard and etc… Yea like you….I’m more drawn to rock.

Oh, wow, Max! For some reason I never would have guessed you live near Nashville! My husband grew up in Kentucky, but only 50 miles from Nashville! And yes, Merle is one of his idols and he has tried to write many songs in his style.
Though I loved early rock, I still love Hank Williams Jr and some good old George Jones. Ha!

We go to Kentucky to get our groceries…the taxes are SO much cheaper. I live in Ashland City…it’s in Cheatham country around 35 minutes from Nashville.

Very cool, Max. I didn’t know that about the taxes/food costs. Glad you found a way to save though! Glad Kentucky taxes are less. We discussed moving to Tennessee and my hubby said they had higher taxes, so that is one reason why we didn’t go there. I love the lay of the land there though, especially Chattanooga.

We will end up moving to Kentucky within the next two years…we are looking at Russellville…it’s affordable and a nice small town…I like small towns more than big ones.

OMG that’s where my sister-in-law used to live and where Richard and I stayed (for a few days), when I was given the words, We Are All Connected. WOW!
I agree it’s a great small town.

Did she like it? Did you like it? My sister lives there but she doesn’t get out a lot. Some good places to eat southern food…that is for sure. Everyone seems really nice. We spend around $280 – $300 for 5-6 weeks worth of food…meats, vegatables, and etc….for 3 people. Here it would be doubled probably.

Yes, my sister-in-law did like Russellville. And we liked it, but we didn’t stay too long. My sister-in-law and her husband moved to Spa, Kentucky not long after we visited her in Russellville.
That sounds pretty reasonable for food. I spend about $100 a week for food.

Oh we did as well….my wife lost her job so we had to find an another option…I was visiting my sister and went shopping…and I was shocked…45 minutes is not a long way to drive so we just keep doing it every 5 weeks or so….we have a fun time going up there.

I’m sorry to hear about your wife’s job loss! I know how devastating that can be. We went through it in 2008 and 2010, and is what pushed us into living in an RV for 11 years. Thankfully, I made it to retirement last December. Though living off Social Security isn’t easy either, we learned to live with a lot less.
I am glad you found Kentucky an option for food savings, and yes, perhaps a way to save even more when you can relocate.
