Raising Consciousness: Dense not Dark

Raising Consciousness that darkness is density

While it is hard to look at the inhumanity that occurs, I know it’s important to not bury our heads in the sand and ignore. Dark and heavy subjects are so difficult to write! I choose to look on the positive things in life, but I know there is a dark side (lower dense vibrations), and because of that, I strive to help others by raising our vibrations and expanding consciousness. I do this by offering what I write, from listening to and reading what others write, and offering prayers (full of belief that ALL really is well), and by emitting unconditional love, and compassion whenever possible.

Shamanism

I have been one of those people (in an attempt to keep my vibration high), that ignores drama and tragedy—at least that’s my desire (admittedly, not always possible).

Now, as of Feb. 29th of this year, I have been drawn to the Shamanic path that includes observing the dark, as well as the light. Previous article about this here.

I don’t know, of course, where my shamanic path will lead, but as long as it enables me to expand my ability to help others and offer the most compassion I can muster, I feel that it will be a good pursuit. ❤️🦋🌀🙏

Yes, (winking)… Shamans take that “Rise” shit literally.

Shamans take that “Rise” shit literally.

Observing density

I wish we could ALL drop the word “Dark” and replace it with the word, “Dense.” Density of vibration (lower vibration) is typically what is being referred to when someone is talking about a painful topic.

When one describes a color as dark, that really has to do with color saturation, or the absence of light. But too often people infer that when anything is dark, it’s wrong, bad, sinful, painful, and so on.

I observe the same color, in low light, and the color itself doesn’t change, only my perception of the color changes.

Expansive (and unifying) Reminders

“Don’t place religion above God.” (I don’t know why any of us insist on knowing what we know or being “right” about anything, when God only knows.)

Sisterly Tapestry

As a peacemaker, and a Spiral Sister,

Consciousness, as a topic and in all of its aspects, beckons me to study it further, not out of mere curiosity as much as out of this fantastical question of “where do I stop and you begin?” –and because of my mother, aunt, and grandmother all suffered with Alzheimer’s dis-ease. I am a sleuth of sorts, always and in ALL ways forward-thinking to try and solve the riddle of why we’re here.

In Closing

About the word. “Love” – you may love someone, (unconditional), or “like,” lust, or infatuation, which many use the word love instead, though it really isn’t love.

Love is patient. Love is kind. All the time, not just when it’s convenient.

Love is caring. Love is being supportive and having another’s back (not back biting).

Love doesn’t require anything. ❤️🦋🌀🙏

The Universe is always (ALL ways) listening!Synchronicity: when you think or do something and someone else shows up in your experience saying or doing the same. Or when you think of someone and within minutes they call you.

Book Review: What Dreams Have Come

Book Review: What Dreams Have Come

A beautiful soul-reaching, inspiring, reverent, vulnerable, and enlightening read!

What Dreams Have Come book cover

What Dreams Have Come is an excellent book! I read it within 24 hours, as it is highly engaging, elegantly, and lovingly written!

Intimately personal

Film producer, co-founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and author, Stephen Simon, with his beloved wife Lauren (who gently crossed over to the Grand Beyond in her sleep), provides us ALL the opportunity to gain a sense of the “Other Side,” while welcoming us into their personal lives (by sharing the synchronicities of how they met, including family photos, and intricate details).

Intertwining honor and love

Stephen and Lauren lovingly crafted a book rich in story that graciously includes the ways they honored and cared for each other (and continue to), as well as demonstrate the ways in which they highly value inclusivity (by bringing us in and honoring their family, neighbors and friends—including my favorite spiritual author).

Emotionally stirring

I cried, laughed, and yes, had jaw-drop moments while reading, What Dreams Have Come. I resonated with much of Stephen and Lauren’s candor and playfulness. (And not to give anything away, but my husband and I often recite our favorite movie lines to each other too!)

There were the touching moments of serendipity and synchronicity built into the way Stephen and Lauren met, and noted all the way through their marriage. The way they shared their pain and triumphs were inspiring to me.

I also really loved the end of the book—totally thrilling! And of course, this is not the end of a love and life together for the Simons.

UPDATE: Please listen to Stephen Simon’s interview with Allison Dubois: Interview

In summary

This book is soul-reaching, and deeply inspiring. It is reverent, vulnerable, and enlightening. I’m in awe of what Love can do—in ALL ways.

Is God Real?

Is God Real?

For many of us, WE wouldn’t even pose this question. And yes, I do draw a distinction between “real” and “exists,” such as if I were to ask, “Does God exist?”—a similar, yet different question.

WE undeniably KNOW God is—but, is the isness real (as in physical matter), or spirit?

Those who know God is Real don’t just believe, but came to this knowing through experiencing God, via our senses, by way of esoteric phenomena that we can only attribute to God.

I believe atheists and doubters have asked either or both questions at some point in their lives, because everyone experiences some things that they can’t explain.

I’m not here to change an unbelievers mind, but I would like to present a slice of my reasoning for believing the answer to both questions is YES.

Defining Reality

Any good survey starts by providing definitions. So, let’s examine my previous articles to provide my thoughts on the definition of “Reality.”

https://sheilamurrey.net/2012/09/16/are-we-real/

https://sheilamurrey.net/2014/06/01/reality-is-only-what-we-perceive/

And as interesting as it is to attempt to define Reality it is even more thrilling to ponder a definition of the undefinable enigma, God.

God, Omniscience

I have been sharing my innermost thoughts about God, Omniscience, for several years (since my first audible experience in 2005). Links to my previous articles follow:

Hearing from God

In the article, Research Is Shedding New Light on Hearing Voices, the author writes that William James, who established the first experimental psychology laboratory in America at Harvard, concluded:

God is real in the reality of the impacts on those open to the possibility. Considering whether or not to choose such openness, James decided that it is more beneficial to act as if there is a transcendent that gives an ultimate meaning to life.

William James, Philosopher and Psychologist—Father of American psychology.

Granted, not all believers in God claim to have heard God’s voice, such as Neale Donald Walsch, author of the series of Conversations with God books. Nevertheless, most believers do credit God with healings and a variety of phenomenon (such as synchronicities) that cannot otherwise be explained.

My friend and fellow spiritual author, Elliott Eli Jackson also writes of conversations with God in his series of The Sapiential Discourses books.

Sacred Sites

This is a huge topic, and one that I have written about before, so I won’t go into it all again, except to provide a list to my previous articles and say that I continue to reap energetic benefits from the time I spent at Newgrange in County Meath, Glendalough, Ireland, Stonehenge in England, and multiple sites in Scotland, especially on the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel and castle, Isle of Skye, and the Faerie Glen.

Meditating inside the stone circle at Stonehenge.

Right from the beginning of our trip, while “playing” and seemingly “having fun,” I was opening and picking up clues of what would come. https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/12/03/game-of-thrones-tour-dublin-ireland-winterfell/

Life After Death

As you may recall, I wrote an article, https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/04/19/a-surreal-vision-of-soul-departing/ after my dad died (crossed over to the Grand Beyond), which was quite the profound experience. That surreal experience, as well as others regarding my still born sister, Christina (link in the section: Metaphysical Experiences), lend to my knowing of Life After Death, and add to my beliefs of Omniscience (my name for the unknowable Dao, or God).

Friend, film producer, co-founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle, and author, Stephen Simon has now, published a book with his beloved wife Lauren (who crossed over to the Grand Beyond in her sleep). I am so thrilled their book, What Dreams Have Come: Loving Through The Veil, is available on Amazon.

Update: The Kindle version is available! I have read it and have a book review in process! Love it!

Also from the same Psychology Today article,

Studies with non-clinical populations have suggested that people are especially likely to hear hallucinatory voices during times of loss or bereavement. In one study, 30% reported hearing the voice of their deceased loved one within the first month of their death, and 6% still heard them a year later. In another study, 13% of persons heard the voice of their deceased spouse, including some who had been widowed up to 40 years prior to being interviewed.

Turning towards Spirituality

Because I just can’t put all my trust and faith in any ONE person, concept, or teaching anymore, I have turned towards Spirit to lead and guide me.

I consider all I have learned up to this point in my life, as guideposts. Like training wheels help a child learn to ride a bicycle with proficiency and under self locomotion, that is how I view all religious instruction. Good for a time, but once you’re strong and steady in your knowing, and you have fully integrated Spirit, God, Source, Divine Essence, live the Dao, accepted the garment of the Christ, etc. you’re walking your path.

Me – 42 years later

Me – 42 years later

Rewriting my 1978 poem

My 1978 poem, “Me.”

Now, that I’ve broken free from the drama of my youth;

Having learned what it means to heal and become whole;

And written, spoken and sang many times about all of that;

Having traveled through many of the states I’d dreamed of;

I’ve found myself, and continued to be:

Steeped in history;

Fascinated by my ancestry;

Serene near the ocean;

Entranced by magical trees;

Engaged with mystical rocks;

And mesmerized by waterfalls;

Raising children at the World’s Most Famous Beach, and lastly at the Jersey shore;

Enjoying the beach sand in summer,

The endless sway of the palm trees,

More than watching the games people play;

I’ve lived in the middle of the USA in the icy winter and visited snowy New England,

To usher in new technology and witness twin granddaughters birth;

I haven’t always been true to myself,

but I’ve experienced magnificence growth in ALL.

I’ve found excitement, romance, pain, and peace;

I’ve discovered that I’ve always been me, in ALL ways—whether happy or sad;

And I am thankful.

I am content.

I was me all along.

And I put all of me into my children, the good, the bad, and the beautiful;

My soul hasn’t changed much, but my mind and heart has expanded;

Widening my perception;

Deepening my compassion;

I’ve enhanced my understanding of so many things;

And calibrated back to balance;

To continue to bloom where I am planted.

Me – 42 years later.

About me

I have a passion for WORDS and Connecting people. In particular, I love speaking and writing about spiritual and consciousness raising topics, holistic wellness and simple healthy living. I am empathic, intuitive, compassionate, and kind, with a keen and unified wisdom about life.

I’m an Amazon bestselling author of two co-authored books: “Transform Your Life Book 2 Inspirational Stories and Expert Advice” and “Energy of Receiving”, available on Amazon. Observations about the author

Conversations surrounding emotional balance, moral ambiguities, and deep spiritual truths (such as We Are All Connected, and Put Your Hands Together When You Pray), are what Sheila is most passionate about. She feels a profound empathic Connection with people and what they’re going through by merely sharing her own truth, by speaking freely about her personal struggles and the challenges she continues to overcome. Sheila strives to ease lonelines, help those exiting toxic relationships, and to remind us all that we are stronger than we think we are, and that Everything Resolves to Gratitude in the end.

Read each morning

Read each morning

Today, and everyday, the peace of Omnipotent God, or what I have been given to know as, Omniscience—envelops me. May I see more aspects of OM.

From a place of peace.

I am enveloped by Omniscience

May I become more consciously aware of the essence of Omniscience, or Omnipresence.

Omniscience is always. There. Here. In. Through. Out. Around. East. West. North. South. Above. Below. Beside.

I love the empty space, white space, shadows, etc. and I recognize they aren’t really empty at all. ❤️🦋🌀

Light appears as ALL colors.

We are fractals of Omniscience

And we are each emanating Energy as a fractal of YOU.

All attachments are illusion. Even the attachment to your Ego isn’t real. The multi-faceted aspects of ourselves often do not shine from our innermost being or truth. This is because, human nature being what it is, personalities evolve (for better or worse), at differing rates of speed.

I can forget all things except the Love of Omniscience. 🌀

Quotes by Sheila Murrey

Open my awareness of boundless opportunities

Creator, as I awake each day, open my awareness to the boundless opportunities and abundant miracles (big and small), that I may enhance and expand my perception of ALL things. And as we share eternity, may I feel unlimited by time.

Energy control.

Time knows no bounds

I observe only growth, and note how each item of your creation grows at differing rates of speed, be it bird 🐦, bee 🐝, or me. Growth transcends time. I make a conscious choice not to judge others who have not learned the things I have learned (are not up to speed with me), and I choose to be easy on myself whenever I am tempted to feel that I am not up to speed with others who have reached their highest potential. I give myself Time.

Abide in Love & Compassion

The more I fully open and express to abide in You, the more I shine brilliant Love. And from LOVE, compassion, peace, and joy ripple and spiral outward.
❤️🦋🌀☀️🌱🎼😘

The Watch

The Watch

When my mother passed away, or as I believe, crossed over to the other side Beyond The Veil, I felt that I needed to find something of hers to hold, to sort of self soothe or comfort myself.

I remembered mom had given me a teal crystal colored pendant many years before. And I sought to find it.

I looked for the pendant several times. We live in an RV, so it isn’t like there are that many places where it could have been stored. I searched through all of my jewelry. But, I couldn’t find it. Maybe the thought to look for it was something put in my mind to keep me busy. I don’t know.

Instead of finding the pendant, I found my mom’s wrist watch and a very old pocket watch, which I think had belonged to my maternal grandfather.

Mom’s wristwatch and grandfather’s pocket watch. Also, a photo of my my aunt and my mom when they were very young.

When I brought both watches from the bedroom to the living room and sat down, the thought dropped into my mind that mom was telling me something: It was time. And that I was given both watches in case only finding one wouldn’t get the message across—and she then impressed upon me something only she could, “because you can be thick headed.”

Understanding this message from my mom, made me laugh a little and really lift the sadness I was feeling about her death.

My mother died in West Virginia. A state she had always loved. It took some time for us to travel from our Florida home to where my parents had been camping in their motorhome.

As soon as I pulled the car into the driveway in West Virginia, my dad greeted my husband and I and handed me the thin gold chain my mom had worn everyday for the last several years of her life. We hugged. And cried. And my papa was not a man to show tears.

Gold chain

I wear the gold chain daily that my papa handed to me when my husband and I arrived in West Virginia. And yes, I eventually found the teal pendant that my mom had given me. It had been in my jewelry box all along! But it had been wrapped up in a tangle of smaller chains and until I took the time to unravel the chains, I couldn’t see it. When I discovered the pendant, I was surprised and was certain this was another lesson from my mother.

Time with dad

While we were in West Virginia, my dad and I walked, talked, and appreciated ALL.

While walking through a nearby campground, that a long time friend of dad’s had owned, Papa told me about all the different kinds of trees there, which thrilled me, as I didn’t know dad knew all of the names of the trees in that area.

I told dad about the how I’d found the watches and asked if he knew who the pocket watch had belonged to, and he wasn’t sure. But dad also wore a wristwatch and always had. I never looked at the kind of watch dad was wearing.

Awhile later, papa found another one of mom’s wristwatches and gave it to me. It was one that the face was in a heart shape and had little footprints 👣 inside. It symbolized the story of “footprints in the sand.” And I recalled mom wearing that watch for many years.

All four watches

21 months after my mom passed away, I received dad’s personal effects from the funeral home, and low and behold, dad’s watch had a blue face (when the light shines on the face the blue looks different). Looking at dad’s watch, brings my mind right back to the story I wrote as, That Little Blue Dot. I instantly tune to the knowing that, mom, dad, and my unborn siblings (in particular, Christina), are ALL together.

While driving the little car I inherited from dad and mom, I placed each of their watches on the shifter to always keep them with me, and to honor them.

I recall sitting in dad and mom’s little Hyundai (about a year later), and thinking how mom had always wanted to give me a car. She talked about that often. Mom had not wanted me to have to work at age fifteen to buy a car, or make so many car payments over the years.

So, in one clear, mystic moment, I said, “Thank you.” Thank you mama and papa for leaving me your little car. Thank you for Everything.

Growth transcends Time

I observe only growth, and note how each item of Omnipotent God’s creation grows at differing rates of speed, be it bird 🐦, bee 🐝, or me. Growth transcends Time.

Time with mom

I share spiritual moments with my mama still. When my heart is open. When I am washing pots and pans she gave me years before she died. When we use the stoneware she gave me. When I drink from the crystal glasses she left behind.

My heart is full. We are all connected. We are all one. Gratitude envelopes me. I resonate with ALL of this knowing. Eternal. No time. Everything happens as it should, and mostly for reasons that mostly only later dawn. ❤️🦋🌀🙏☀️💦🌱☮️

The truth lies somewhere in between

Truth lies somewhere in between

Arguing and bickering

Some people seem to thrive on arguing. I’m thinking in particular of lawyers, couples in tumultuous relationships, and those who always stir up or fuel discord on Facebook (and other social media).

My dad would often tell my mom to, “Change the subject.” And then he would change it!

I don’t think dad really ever liked arguing with my mom, though they constantly bickered. And all of that lead to my awareness that, “The truth lies somewhere in between.” And “It takes two to fight.”

Yet, it took me decades to learn that one of the two in an argument simply needs to STOP FIGHTING (in essence, release the resistance), to end the argument.

Yes, though my parents loved each other passionately, their love was not unconditional. Through watching them, I learned all about conditional love. So, how could I know what true love was?

Observations of parts

I observed, during a Bible class I participated in a few years ago, that some attendees argued more about specifics, like healthcare and sexism as related to Trump. I had to keep pulling people up to the macro general level and why we were there.

I seemed to only see the downside to love growing up in a dysfunctional family. I never thought anyone got it right. And then later, when I fell in love (or what I thought was love), I perpetuated the toxic cycle.

Truth lies somewhere in between

Which part am I?

  • I am not my body
  • I am not my mind
  • I am more than the sum total of my collective experience

I can list my likes and attributes, but you may still have a better idea of who I am, than I will ever have.

As my adult children and I have recounted stories from their youth, they certainly saw a different side of me than I self witnessed. The same must be true of how I viewed my parents volatile relationship.

Examining my characteristics

  • I am honest
  • I am sensitive
  • I am empathic; sometimes intuitive
  • I love deeply
  • I am resilient
  • I have fought tough relationship battles that might have wrecked others
  • I am a loyal friend (and keeper of secrets)
  • I allow my feelings to be hurt (and sometimes become resentful, until I become fully aware that I allowed my feelings to be hurt).
  • I hold stuff in (I say it is to “protect” others and spare them from having to observe it or get involved—but is that really true?)
  • I have been a codependent (but does one ever really heal from codependency?)

I don’t want to hold stuff inside, but anytime I get mad or speak my mind it pisses other people off.

I struggle with people pleasing. Or people not listening to me. I never saw my mom get too far when she argued with dad or others, so I decided early to forgo the arguments. Or so I thought! Both my first and second husbands argued with me. Ugh. And my children were witnesses to so much of that—and I hate that!

Learning from the lessons

Whenever I am emotionally triggered, I read this:

I never like to be disrespected, bullied, or have my intelligence questioned, or be treated less than I am! But I know I’m not always right. As well, others, no matter how well or how long they have known me, don’t know all of my thoughts, wishes, or desires, and that I strive to always respect others and show kindness if nothing else. I know many people are hurting, sad, mad, over or under medicated, or are hungry for love. And I realize no one knows Everything—not yet.

❤️🦋🌀🙏😉

What to do?

  • I am too analytical to blindly follow
  • I am independent
  • I am curious and always seeking
  • I can focus on the positives

I have some clairsentience and clairaudience abilities, though not tuned specifically to aid others. Perhaps I will offer these senses and abilities more of my time.

Fight to feel better

…When you feel bad nothing works. You labor to get out of bed. You stub your toe on a table that has never moved and you’ve known for years where it is. You lose your car keys, glasses, or phone. Walk around with a big old frown on your face and you know it drives people away from you. You’re fighting with yourself about something. Let go of whatever you’re resisting and your day will improve.

From my book, Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life!

Be as water

I love the water (but looking at it, or walking along the shore more than swimming in it–though I love to float!)

Water doesn’t fight with itself. Or does it?

Water rages. Water flows. Water falls. Water is still.

I will EXPLORE more ways to be like water!

Yes!

I will find my own balance.

I will find my own level.

I will start by reminding myself that the truth lies somewhere in between. I will not judge by what I see in the mirror, but simply point out the many facets of truth, per the mirror disco ball.

As Scott Buck, a writer on both Six Feet Under and Dexter series dramas often made a foundational point of saying, “We never really know a person.”

I like to compare our personalities to facets inside a kaleidoscope or disco ball. We reflect what we see or imagine others to be.

Even racists can be kind. And I am about over all the hate from the other side. ❤️🦋🌀

Expanding Consciousness

Expanding Consciousness

What kinds of things do you do to challenge or stretch your consciousness?

I guess Consciousness, as a topic, interests me because of my mother’s demise from Alzheimer’s dis-ease. Because I am forward thinking. And I am so into the whole mind-body-spirit thing–Holistic Health–as well as, coming to understand the “Interconnection of ALL.”

Expanding Consciousness
Expanding Consciousness

Intriguing ideas

Shirley MacLaine has said she believes the reason why we’re here (in this life) is curiosity. And I feel there are myriad topics we can be curious about, only one of which is Consciousness.

Science has yet to provide us much solid evidence on where our consciousness resides. Much research is ongoing about that. And it intrigues me.

Many fictional TV and film creations, such as Fringe the X-Men movies, brought noetic concepts into mainstream awareness.

Noetic Science

Since the 1970s, the term, “noetics” (“how beliefs, thoughts, and intentions affect the physical world”), has been used by several authors. The books Deep Spirit: Cracking the Noetic Code (2008) by Christian de Quincey and The Lost Symbol (2009) by Dan Brown, reveal a plethora of interesting information on the topics of consciousness and spirituality. Visit the Institute of Noetic Sciences, for more.

When I learned about the noetic sciences and began attending IONS group meetings, that led me to discover the Pachamama Alliance (to be discussed in another post).

Now, such terms as, conscious businesses and socially responsible corporations are becoming well known.

Seat of Consciousness

I’ve heard that Consciousness, more than simply being in our mind or brain, is actually a grand field of interconnected waves that we plug into, as we would turn on a TV to watch a transmitted program. Perhaps the great masters knew of this.

I’ve studied a series of books called, Life and teachings of the masters of the Far East by Baird T. Spalding, which expands upon the belief in the Christ Consciousness and the Buddha Consciousness. Yet, my favorite book that continues to expand my consciousness with every reading is Christ in You, by Anonymous.

About making changes

It has been said that nobody will change anything in their life until the perceived fear of the unknown is less than the pain of remaining the same.

Tony Robbins has talked about how people will violate their own values in order to meet one or more of their perceived needs.

I find moral ambiguities intriguing. I find the shadows we create (as we block the light), interesting.

Conscious change

I read a lot about how in order to actually make changes of habits that actually stick, one must make conscious changes in day-to-day routines.

This means one must consciously choose to drop one task / habit in exchange for another. Willingly. With focus. And we have to be operating in or near the vibration/frequency range (resonance) before we can begin to understand anything new too. 😉

Because I focus on incorporating new ideas, tactics, and tips into my life, I read (or listen to many of the following advanced teachers):

  • Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith
  • Gregg Braden
  • Chris Cade
  • Dr. Joe Dispenza
  • Tim Ferriss
  • MIT biochemist, Raymond Francis
  • Nassim Haramein

  • Joseph Pilates
  • Sadhguru

  • Alania Starhawk

What is a lie?

Defining a lie

Depending upon the dictionary you use, when you look up the word “lie” and try to define it, you’ll find that it’s mostly referred to as some sort of deception, false impression, or intentionally untrue statement.

So, a lie then, is defined as the opposite of truth. Right? It’s something that’s untrue.
Or is it?

Opposition

Is the lie the opposing viewpoint?
Is it a lie because it goes against what you KNOW, or perceive to be true?
Many years ago, I used to say that my ex could lie to me and tell me the sky was black, though I knew it was blue. And that he was so good at it, so convincing, he’d make me look at the sky again to be sure.
I used to get so angry (mad) when he, or anyone would lie to me! Grrr… what planet were they from? Why would they lie? To get what they wanted?
But now I wonder. What if a lie is really just another way of looking at something?
Let’s imagine we’re standing at a tree. A tree that is full of leaves.
The side of the tree you’re looking at has green leaves, so you make an assumption that all of the leaves of the tree are green. But, what if someone else is standing on the other side of the tree, and there are a few yellow or reddish colored leaves on that side.
Even if we care about the person standing over there, we might get defensive when our friend states they love the yellow leaves they’re seeing. We may disagree or argue our point, even without walking around to the other side!
So, how can we know for sure what colors the leaves are on the other side of the tree?
Like the yellow leaves on the other side of that tree, opposite from where you are standing, a lie is something someone else thinks they know.
They’ll defend “their truth” about yellow leaves until the cows come home!
But, you can’t see the yellow leaves, so you think they’re wrong, nuts, or crazy.

Allow the other perspective

Instead, why not just allow the other person to have his or her understanding of it?
And what difference does any of it make anyway?
We don’t always have to be right after all? And if we do, then that’s our ego.
What if a lie is the other perspective that you are unable to understand?
Think about a conversation where someone says something that you believe is untrue. It makes you mad. You fight it. The anger about the lie becomes intense within you.
Where do you feel that anger?
How do you feel it?
Isn’t it bizarre that you can actually FEEL the weight, or density of the negative energy?

Ahh, there’s almost a substance to it.

Thus, emotion scribes energy to the cellophane (the invisible realm where energy is stored before/after it becomes matter).
What???

Imagine

Now, I realize your head may have just exploded, but try to follow this:
Imagine that there’s a sheet of cellophane between you and the person you are having a heated conversation with.
When you allow their perception (their version of the truth) to upset you, you speak some charged words.
The energy from your words sticks in the cellophane.
The next time someone walks through that cellophane, especially a sensitive person (sensitive to energies), they FEEL that dense energy–almost like a heaviness in the air!

For your consideration

So, the next time someone lies to you, consider first, that they are only sharing their perspective with you. You may not agree. You may not like it.
When someone lies to you, especially if it’s about a really important subject, tell yourself that they are in a different reality. And FEEL if this lightens the weight of the lie.
Just as I no longer believe that a lie is wrong or bad, I also no longer believe there’s such a thing as false hope. For any hope at all, whether it is based on fact or fiction, is still hope.
Let’s assign truth and hope the number 1 and a lie and false hope the number 0.
1+0 = 1
Thus, we see that the even when we try to add something false to something true, we still have something true. It’s only our perception that is limited.
Remember that HOPE is the substance of things not yet seen. Not yet seen! Not real yet. Not actual yet.
So, let’s say someone tells you a lie about a topic that you don’t care much about. You can shrug it off easily, right?

However, when someone tells you a lie about love, about someone you love, or that they don’t love you, that lie drains you of energy, right?

Ask yourself

Similar to a battery that only has enough power to keep it going, though not enough to start the engine, a lie about the existence of love pulls energy out of you.
Why?
Because WE are all LOVE in our core and anything that shuts down or restricts that love FEELS bad to us.
Perspectives. It’s all about perspectives and perception.
How do each of these two statements make you feel?
I love that you make me laugh!
Versus
I love to laugh at you!

The Kaleidoscope

Check out these two images from the same kaleidoscope, that was simply turned a bit:

fuschia teal dark blue kaleidoscope

gold teal kaleidoscope

Pick up a kaleidoscope and peer into it, notice the myriad perspectives available to you. The fractals involved in the patterns created. And when, because you will, you cannot help to do so, move it the slightest bit the light will hit the items within it, and you’ll see different colors and patterns. For this is the way of the kaleidoscope. This is also the way of the interconnectedness of the universe.
I hope this helps to lighten you today, and step a bit lighter on the earth.

Be the person your Soul knows you are!

I love you.
You are enough.
You are worthy of love.

There is a line in George Michael’s song, Freedom, that asks of us: “all we have to do now, is to take these lies and make them true somehow.” And the answer I received about its meaning was:

When you can (though you may never be adept enough in every circumstance) take a lie, or what you perceive as a lie, and can find a truth (as opposed to THE truth) in it, then that is real Freedom. Freedom in one’s mind.

Namaste. OM
Note: This post is NOT about condoning lies or compulsive liars (certainly no one needs to stay with people who habitually act like that), it’s about feeling better, coming to terms, or forgiving someone when it occurs. Learn and move on. It’s all YOUR choice.

Check out this original song, Let Sleeping Truths Lie. It’s one of my favorite tunes and I’ve sang it on occasion. My artist / guitarist / bassist husband wrote it and had it recorded in Nashville, TN. You can download it (it’s Track 11) from this link: https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/chevyfordband2

Be as the blade of grass, grow through the dirt.

I’ve heard it said, “you’re either growing or dying” and that, “the universe is either expanding or shrinking.” If that is true, then it seems to acknowledge that everything in life, all there is around us, is dynamic – nothing is static.

In a previous post, I wrote that, “We grow as blades of grass, up through the earth.” And that “dirt, or earth, is analogous to all of the resistance we encounter.” These thoughts were instigated years ago, when a coworker encouraged me with the phrase, “Bloom where you are planted.” Oh how right she was!

At that time, I felt constant irritation from a superior when he would casually walk by my desk and tell me to smile – while I was working! Being the studious and serious type, smiling while concentrating on work tasks was something I just didn’t do. The more he admonished me to smile, the more aggravated I became. In passing, I must have mentioned my exasperation one day to my friend, when she lavished me with that golden nugget of truth – about the blooming. I even remember thinking of a response to her – likened to – “yes, no matter how much fertilizer is put upon you!” (but I didn’t tell her).

Day in and day out, I would notice people around me laughing, chatting, and cutting up during the day, but I wasn’t.

I am an empath. I am a highly sensitive person (HSP). I feel lots of things very strongly.

I have discovered that I become resentful when things aren’t fair or balanced.

While working in an office, I recall thinking, “we’re here to work” and “we’re here to earn our pay.” Why was I always the one to feel so determined! I was always applying effort. The pitfalls of continually wanting to do my best, try hard, people-please, and succeed, yada, yada. But at what cost to my Self?

Realizing I was wallowing in resistance, I knew I had to climb out of it, or it would bury me. A seed pushes against dirt in order to grow, but I felt as though I was pushing against me, not growing, but receding! Plants, indeed everything in the living kingdom need the resistance in order to grow, and grow strong.

One day I learned what hell meant. Out in the garden we can hell for potatoes, as in “we’re sweating out here helling for potatoes.” Hell is just “the ground”, or “the dirt.” It never was meant to be some fearful place of oppression or torment. So, my thoughts of “this is hell” was the only thing that kept me disturbed. And I lacked the knowledge, at the time, of how to climb up out of the grave (of the frustrating job) up the slippery walls of resistance and into freedom.

Eventually, as other factors contributed, I left the job.

Years later, during a time of fasting, those years of struggle came to mind, but with softness and thanksgiving, the resentment fading. Not only had I learned more about myself, but as a body builder strengthens muscles from lifting weights, I had grown emotional muscles, in fact “blooming“, from what I had perceived as resistance!

I distinctly remembered the day I had begun saying to myself (about my boss), “Thank you for helping me to make a better decision” – whenever I’d felt picked on or taken advantage of (to do more work). I couldn’t change whether or not I was picked on, but I could have changed my reaction to it! And it had always been my choice – whether I was willing or able to know it then or not – as to how much work I was willing to take on.

All the feelings I’d felt were solely based on my perception and may not have been entirely accurate, as one can never really see things from all sides anyway.

Looking back, I saw where I had resisted quite a few things during that time, which is probably why I felt harried and stressed. Oh, had I just learned to “go with the flow” sooner, I could have smiled and experienced joy.

I’ve learned, we didn’t come into this life for the struggle. Life will go on without us after we’re gone. Whether we leave a company, end a marriage, or die. Nothing’s static, everything changes.

Now? I’m learning to let go and breathe. Get more play into each day. My former superior might be happy to know that once in awhile, even if I’m troubleshooting something, I smile and “in – joy” doing whatever it is I’m attempting to do. I wish for you the same.

See ya on the flip-side dynamic good buddy.

Life’s a thrill, hang on and enjoy the ride!
