It’s May 24th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song about a guy with big parts. This original song is one of my fun favorites–especially back when I used to listen to Howard Stern on the radio. I always thought this song should have been featured in Howard’s movie. Bubba Hudson’s vocals contributed to this pro mix by Steven Cooper at his music studio in Nashville, TN.

March 27th – I could love you better, make you feel like a queen!

It’s March 27th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song about a lover who sings, “I could love you better. Make you feel like a queen”! Who wouldn’t want that? “From head to toe and in between”! Ha! What sweet and sexy lyrics. This rock tune lays down a smooth rock sound, with Jeff Jordan on the steamy guitar runs yet also punches out the sax by acclaimed horn player John Heinrich. I think this was one of our most overlooked (not well-known to the public) original songs! Thanks to Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN for the amazing production of this melodious rock song.

Lovin’ all night

Here’s the eighty-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently amplify our original music and share it with the masses. This is one of my favorite original songs that gets me going. Richard’s sophisticated yet down-to-earth intelligent and witty lyrics get me every time!

While I’m listening to this original rock song, I’m consistently impressed by my husband’s wit and curiosity. He dives into nearly every subject imaginable in his songwriting. Have you noticed that?

Beginning to pack

I got the lease termination completed last night on our Ocala apartment. And I’m juxtaposing my feelings of “damn, can’t believe we will have only lived here for 8 months,” with the “get it going, girl, and start packing” excitement of our upcoming move. I need songs like this to put me in a better mood. I had such high hopes (and visualizations) of how great our life was going to go living here! UGH! But we did meet a few really nice people at Milano’s (one of four food places in the plaza we could walk to) and so there’s that. I told Maryellen that yesterday, while Richard and I were on our Tuesday date night (which we always do early so it’s more of a ‘date day.’ Ha!)

I still want to see

I told Richard that I still wanted to go to Weeki Wachi and see the ‘mermaid show’ before leaving town, even if I have to rent a car for one day to accomplish it. I’m sure there will be some other errand I’ll have to do here before we go. But he’s ready to move now. He doesn’t even want to see anyone else, doesn’t want to go swim or work in the gym, all things I thought we’d do while living here–things we couldn’t do in Bradenton for one reason or another (though they did have a heated pool).

I had a dream about Donald Trump last night

Speaking of juxtapositions, I’m still processing a dream I had last night and may write more about it tomorrow. Let me know if you’re interested.

In my dream, I was driving a small tractor with a wagon. I’d just pulled up to a place where someone was building something (a building or stage not sure). Donald Trump walked by me; I gushed, saying a few sentences to him something like, “Mr. President, thank you for doing everything you did for our country. Thank you for standing resilient in the face of so much sh*t thrown at you.” He was wearing everyday attire, not a suit. He could have been anyone else, but I recognized him immediately. He simply smiled. He was not bombastic. He was not a narcissist (though I have characterized him as such). He barely even uttered a humble, “Thank you.” He was not condescending at all. He was almost SHY! It made me think I had misjudged him. And it took me aback. Writing this brought all those feelings back to me from the dream.

In this dream, a bunch of children got on the trailer I was pulling and said we all had to watch something. I asked if we were in the right place and if I needed to move the tractor and trailer before more people came. They weren’t sure. Then it was dark. We all looked up to see some kind of picture in the sky! It was like we were watching a cartoon movie, but there wasn’t any screen! It was big but not as large as say, a fireworks display. First, there was smoke and some text. I don’t recall what the words were or what the ‘movie’ was about. But everyone was focused on it and making ooh and ahh sounds. For a moment, I spotted a sort of iPad border around the movie and part of a hand. Then it went blank. Then the ‘movie’ started playing again. I could see that whatever we were viewing was a hologram; someone was playing this projection, but no one else seemed to notice or care!

Clearing Karma

In the movie, The Mule, the main character played by Clint Eastwood, cleared his Karma at the end.

Perhaps it takes a lot of maturity to recognize what our Karma is, how to carry it, or if possible, clear it. That’s the age old question, no?

From Theosophy

When I studied the writings of Ernest Holmes from 1927 and Annie Besart during the years I explored Theosophy, one of the beautiful poems I kept follows next:

Oh hidden life, vibrant in every atom

Oh hidden life, shining in every creature

Oh hidden love

Whatever is Karma results from man’s self-created destiny, cause and effect in the now or preceding life (there is no fate from that we make).

Theosophy strongly advises against “healing the sick through the power of Mind.” Metaphysical or mental healing practices. (I ask, but what about Laying on of hands?)

Theosophy admits much sickness today stems from misguided, neurotic, or uncontrolled thoughts, which can be alleviated by raising our everyday consciousness to a purer and higher level.

We have the power to control our future conditions by changing our present thoughts and actions, but only alter external conditions to the extent our Karma will allow (limited/limitations)! Sow and reap. Reap what is sown.

Ah! If mind power is deliberately applied metaphysically with any selfish intent or personal material aims, it is black magic. White magic is doing that for solely for the blessing and benefit of others.

Daoism

A beautiful illustration of the law of karma in action was when my Qigong Master teacher Lama Nicholas was nearing this life’s end, many of his former students (poor at the time of their training), responded with a great outpouring of love and donations during his illness.

Through following Lama’s transitional process, I witnessed the love, care, and deep compassion between he and his students—full circle. And indeed as I practice the motions he taught the classes I had great honor to participate in, I remember these stories and lessons. ☯️

From Numerology

Number 9 is the number of Universal love, eternity, faith, Universal Spiritual Laws, the concept of karma, spiritual enlightenment, spiritual awakening, service to humanity, humanitarianism and the humanitarian, lightworking and lightworkers, leading by positive example, philanthropy and the philanthropist, charity, self-sacrifice, selflessness, destiny, life purpose and soul mission, generosity, a a higher perspective, romance, inner-strength, public relations, responsibility, intuition, strength of character.

Presence

We can wear or carry our Presence all day as a kind of perfume! Ah, he must be reading Sadhguru’s book, Karma! I’m drafting a book review of it and will link to it here, when I’ve published the review. For now, here’s one summation:

Conspiracy theories

So, just what is all the interest in conspiracy theories?

Why can’t governments and authoritarian agencies be up front and open about things that affect us ALL?

Transparency cures conspiracy

I’ve told people for years that if the “powers that be” would just be more transparent in their dealings, there would be no need for conspiracy theories, indeed they would not exist.

But people are smart. People who are deep thinkers will always be peeking in the shadows, poking around, and probing for answers, especially when certain things, “don’t add up.”

Compartmentalization

The military, the government, corporate entities, churches, ALL organized institutions compartmentalize. Why?

It is often said, “The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing” in regard to these organizations. And that is all due to compartmentalization.

Shhh…

Think about all those levels of government clearances. Why is there a need for multiple different levels of clearance? There are many levels—even levels above Top Secret.

Do you want to know a secret?

It seems everybody wants to know a secret. The Beatles even had a top-selling song about a secret. And of course there was a mega hit book and movie called, The Secret.

People love secrets

What’s the fascination with secrets? What is so attractive about keeping and figuring out secrets? Why is it human nature to want to hold some kind of knowledge over others’ heads? Power? Control? Ego? Ugh!

If there were no secrets, there would be no conspiracies!

Is transparency or secrecy a pillar of Freedom?

Movie Review: Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody

I loved the many Bohemian Rhapsody movie reviews I’ve read from my WordPress community! I haven’t written any movie reviews until… now! 😉

The following are my notes, written from that emotionally charged place (the goal of all filmmakers–to get you in touch with your emotions), after leaving the theater yesterday:

Initial thoughts after leaving the theater:

The emotion of it just hit me. I need some time…

Just beautiful! Really. Go see it! 😭❤️🦋🌀

20 minutes after:

As a long time fan of Queen since my teenage years, I loved it! And hubby (a musician, but not a long-time fan) loved it too, from story, acting, digital production, musicianship, music business, band family, etc.

Bohemian Rhapsody the movie was sooooo well done. Wembley is so amazing! My heart went right out of my chest! Freddie, Rami Malek was aWEsOMe!!! ❤️❤️❤️

An hour after:

The reporter scene is haunting me. Why the need to focus on Freddie? Get into his head? Psychoanalyze him? Ugh! An important moment that I hope people pay attention to the effects of all that. The production of that scene, oh!

Obviously, still processing this. Just go see it. ❤️😘

Three hours after:

Freddie’s sexuality and disease were handled with care, empathy, and compassion, and not exploited. In fact, the interview scene continues to haunt me.

The Wembley stadium Live Aid concert was amazing!!!

The film was more than accessible, highly engaging, and ultimately a profound story of unconditional friendship and love (of which. I feel Freddie approves). ❤️🦋🌀
