Book Review: “Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection”
It’s May 3rd, 2024; Here’s an original country song about a girl that asks a lot of questions but feels it’s all been said before. I am always amused how my husband can weave a new story for a song. We love this elegant production mix (including piano) by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-twenty-fourth new music post for 2024, as I consistently plug our original songs. I think you’ll really enjoy the lyrics of this song, especially those of you who feel everything has been said before. Richard often tells me, There’s nothing new under the sun. And yet, look how many original songs he’s composed! Tada!
We’re off! We’re driving a moving truck to New England (from Florida) this week. So, I’m keeping the articles short and simply sharing the song and an applicable meme (mine or others). Be blessed everyone!
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time.
May we all soar in ’24! Here’s to smiling big, and living FREE!
Yours in expanding, driving, spiraling consciousness,

It’s May 2nd, 2024; Here’s an original country song of ours about a girl that gets around. I don’t think the lyrics are about a girl driving around town though. Ha!. We were thrilled with the elegant production mix (including piano) on this demo by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-twenty-third new music post for 2024, as I consistently drive our original songs out to the masses via social media. Let me know what you think of this song in the comments. I can check comments from the road (I typically read posts and comments from my blogger pals before I fall asleep at night).
We’re off! We’re driving a moving truck to New England (from Florida) this week. So, I’m keeping the articles short and simply sharing the song and an applicable meme (mine or others). Be blessed everyone!
Spiral thought: I always find it amusing, nod to Dr. Longo of Old World Florida, how many of us enlightened ones (someone told me the other day they thought I was in 5D), still operate from a highly-charged ego, and are too quick to judge others as being all up in their ego! Calm down. Don’t be the pot calling the kettle black. Most of us are too hard on ourselves and need not take ourselves sooo seriously! Ha!

It’s May 1st, 2024; Here’s an original country duet song about raising a family. This was one of several songs Richard wrote to honor his mom and dad. I love that a son would put such love and heart into a song for his parents. Lovely mix of voices on this and sweet production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-twenty-second new music post for 2024, as I consistently pursue with dogged determination, to present one original song each day–yes, even when I must schedule them in advance. Ha! And this is a loving tribute to Richard’s parents. We hope you will enjoy it.

It’s April 30th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song about extraterrestrials! Yes, go figure. A song about E.T. makes sense from a couple who used to work for the Space Center, eh? Haha! We’ve got the E.T. Blues indeed. Humorous lyrics and a swingin’ sound. What could be better! And we even get a tad political in this one too. LOL! This is another one of my favorite songs. With vocals from Bubba Hudson and a superb production mix (including sax) by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-twenty-first new music post for 2024, as I consistently shout out about our original songs. If you watch The Why Files, we think you’ll love this song!

It’s April 29th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song about Energy! Would you call this hard rock or metal? Michael from 80smetalman or Gray Summers can tell me. Yes, we all need and use energy and this is Richard’s ode to all that is the energy that sustains us. This is one of my favorite songs! It’s got solid vocals from Bubba Hudson and a hot production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-twentieth new music post for 2024, as I consistently push our original songs out into the ether. Yes, The Fifth Element is a favorite movie and I believe songs like, Energy, certainly deserve a space and place in a film like that. Someone has to be making a movie or show that this song could get plugged into. Right?
Spiral thought: I still believe in Connecting and the interconnectedness of ALL even though some connections are fake through AI.
The countdown continues… we move in 1 DAY! I am picking up the rental truck tomorrow morning and then we’ll start loading. Woo-hoo! Life is a journey not a destination (to quote a line from one of my favorite songs)!

It’s April 28th, 2024; Here’s an original country duet song about music. We’d love to hear a group play this on the Opry! To quote the song, “Play it back perfect, don’t miss a note.” I love the violin in this song and the blend of voices. Indeed, a slick production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.
Here’s the one-hundred-nineteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently plug our original songs. Songs that my dear husband wrote over 40 years. Some years he wrote many songs (when he lived alone in Bishop, CA) and some years not as much. But collectively, to write over 400 songs? Well, I agree that’s quite an achievement. And all because he’s such an observer of people and life!
Richard Murrey has a heart full of music, that’s for sure. And this duet is a splendid example of that. He grew up playing guitar and so did his twin brothers. One of the best moments in our lives was getting Richard, Bill, and Tony together (several years ago) to sit around the house and play. I will treasure the memory of that! To me, it was as good as if we had gone to the Opry. A personal concert!
Spiral thought: It seems to me it would take an intelligent designer to create order out of chaos.

It’s April 26th, 2024; Here’s an original country song about all the stories one hears while sitting at the bar having an adult beverage. Yes, a cocktail can bring the stories out. It happened when I first met Richard. We spent 4 hours exchanging stories at a restaurant bar. And this song is a lovely production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN. What movie might this song enhance?
Here’s the one-hundred-seventeenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently present our life on a platter, on a sound recording and video at least. I think by now, after nearly four months of daily shares, you get a lot more of an idea about who we are.
Our original songs share parts of our lives, our meaningful and touching stories. Our stories live in our hearts. Do our stories in song touch your heart? Even when we share heart-wrenching songs, we aim to uplift your soul and spirit.

Here’s the one-hundred-fifteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently present one of our original songs every day. When we truly feel the sacrifice made for us, as the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) leads, we understand we never walk alone.
Yes, I believe what the Bible, prophets, and sages have said for thousands of years, “We never walk alone.” No matter what religion (path) you choose to follow, it seems all are reminding us we are never alone. If not, I don’t know what comfort it can be.

It’s April 23rd, 2024; Here’s an original soft rock song (or a pop song with piano). I love Richard’s love songs. Check out the lyrics and see if you agree. Funny, what love can be to bring you back to me. Funny, what love can do to change the things in you.
Here’s the one-hundred-fourteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently deal out one of our original songs each day, as a card dealer does at the blackjack table. All to release our songs into the world (like spores of mushrooms) to see where they may sprout and take root!

It’s April 22nd, 2024; Here’s an original soft rock song (maybe more of a pop song) as we celebrate Earth Day. I love it when the songs (in order on Richard’s YouTube channel) align with what’s going on for us, or with what’s going on in the world. In other words, a timely song!
Here’s the one-hundred-thirteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently bring you soothing sounds, and original songs, to enliven and uplift us ALL. On this Earth Day be sure to thank the dirt for all it’s done for us, the soil to grow our food, the ground that provides us with (almost always) a solid surface to walk on, and the gravity to keep us on the planet and strengthen our bones.
Yes, we’re made of star stuff but without the Earth, where would we be? Even when we question the horrible things that occur on the planet, we are 8 Billion people trying to ‘get along’ and we’re bound to screw up occasionally. the Bible says, “…the meek shall inherit the Earth.” Perhaps I am the meek.
