This is one of our favorite songs, because it turned out so well after pro production, and a story that definitely rings true for me, especially after having the dreams and visions I’ve had. Dreams and visions which led me to write Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection.
This is one of the most detailed story songs Richard has ever written. It’s certainly one of the most endearing songs he’s put out, in my humble opinion. We follow this informative guy on YouTube (yes, we mostly only watch YouTube and our DVD movies, though we do watch a few series on Paramount+ too, but we’ll be giving up on it soon–I’m tired of waiting for new seasons of 1883 and 1923. I’m also exasperated that they’ve not rerun Yellowstone, as I’m sure we’d love it too. UGH).
We get most of our foreign relations news from Alex, though I must say, I’ve been getting a lot of news from my fellow bloggers here on WordPress too! I love connecting with each one of you (via the comments and on Facebook–when we connect there), and you know who you are, from the UK, India, and other parts unknown.
I love how Alex travels around and is usually always outside during his daily videos. Of course, I love Greek men too, (haha, jk Richard! And he worries about me meeting a Chief Red Cloud someday… haha!), so there’s that. Also, I appreciate Alex because he always balances out his ‘news updates’ with a ‘clown world’ segment at the end of each video, and it always makes me laugh. Ha!

Yesterday, I mentioned how we might react if angry aliens landed and tried to kill us all–and boy, am I in the mood to write this post! Ha! This one helped me center and ground after someone questioned my Spirituality this morning (she didn’t like how I’d offered a tiny correction to a post she’d made on LinkedIn). Oh well!
I apologized for not messaging the lady on LinkedIn (I didn’t think she’d see any message I might have sent because we’re not ‘connected’ on that platform). Perhaps I could have tried that, but I was in a hurry to offer my recommendation. Plus, I am all about educating the masses, so I tend to share my advice publicly. She didn’t accept my apology. She had to write again and tell me she was surprised I’d correct her publicly because I’m spiritual (per my profile–she doesn’t know me). I guess she has a lot more to learn than spelling!
I’m always learning too. And as I’ve also said many times, “We each learn at differing rates of speed.” So, I revisited my helpful comment and deleted it. It was my way of ‘cutting the energetic cord’ with her. Tada! Done. I wasn’t trying to ‘lord’ anything over her, but some people are so touchy! So, here’s something I wrote 4 years ago that’s applicable because I can’t please everyone; I’m tired of having my voice squelched:

I don’t know if we need a savior or if Omniscience God created us with a brain to save ourselves. But either way, I still believe in taking it upon oneself to do our best while we’re alive. Perhaps that means doing our best to quit overthinking and get down into our body–I find blues music helps me with that (to feel my soul). Perhaps you have other views on this.
