Riding Without Religious Training Wheels

As I wrote in my book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection I wrote about how I had a visitation (I say, ‘visitation’ because it was more than a nighttime dream) about my mom and how she and I shared in a conversation after she passed away/crossed over to the Other Side of The Veil. I know it was real and that it was special, because so far, I’ve not experienced any other visitations like that! Yes, I had the surreal shared death experience within 24 hours of my dad’s passing/crossing over, but it was completely different and much shorter of an experience than the visitation I had with my mom.

And while at the time, I wasn’t so dogmatic in my religious views, I still had some and these experiences were mind-blowing and definitely reshaped my view of God, expanding it for sure! This is why I can say my multifaceted spirituality is like practicing a “religion without the need for training wheels.”

I’m a follower of IONS the Institute of Noetic Science, and of Shared Crossings. I have learned from sessions with IONS and with Shared Crossings that each of these encounters are often different. And while some share similarities, such as traveling down a tunnel towards a light source, in every other aspect they differ. That’s what makes the science so difficult, yet so thrilling and fascinating too!

The latest class from IONS was all about imagination. And yes, there are differences between imagination and creativity. They also discussed ways we can cultivate our imagination, and explained aphantasia and how some people who cannot visualize can dream because the visuals are held in the subconscious (which is what is working during dreamtime). It was a fascinating class/lecture and one I’d love everyone to see!

I’m very excited to peruse this database from IONS of all the many cases of reported Spontaneous Remission! I have heard of many incidents of spontaneous remission by people I’ve either known personally or whom friends have known, so I think this database will lend credence to its existence as a real phenomenon.

My takeaway

I’ve always believed the “truth lies somewhere between.” And after pursuing a rigorous degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University back in the 1990s, I can tell you that there are different schools of thought on myriad subjects. And this is certainly one of them. The metaphysics and psychic phenomena surrounding spirituality and religious belief is one of the deepest rabbit holes we can explore. And one that I believe I’ll continue exploring for the rest of my life!

Aspects of The Trinity: Jewish Kabbalah (Part 6 of a series)

Here’s Part 6 of my continued search for The Trinity, as an outgrowth from a Zoom book club I’m part of that’s been reading the Theosophy book, The Masters and The Path.

In Jewish Kabbalah, Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah are the three “supernal” sefirot at the top of the Tree of Life, often treated as a highest triad that describes how the infinite Divine first begins to emanate into creation. They are not a “trinity of persons” in the Christian sense, but three phases or aspects of Divine emanation and consciousness.​

Keter (Kether) – Crown

  • Keter means “Crown” and is the first sefirah, the closest point to the infinite Ein Sof, representing the primordial, undifferentiated Divine will or pure being before any polarity or form.​
  • It is described as a blinding, formless light or “hidden intelligence,” beyond ordinary comprehension, from which all other sefirot emanate; it is the archetypal source rather than a defined personality.​

Chokhmah (Chokma) – Wisdom

  • Chokhmah, “Wisdom,” is the second sefirah, the first dynamic outflow from Keter, often symbolized as active, masculine, expansive, pure force or energy.​
  • It is the primordial flash of insight or creative impulse, sometimes called the “All‑Father,” which pours forth limitless vitality that will later be shaped and limited by Binah.​

Binah – Understanding

  • Binah, “Understanding,” is the third sefirah, the receptive, formative principle that receives the outflow of Chokhmah and gives it structure, boundaries, and intelligible form.​
  • It is associated with the archetypal feminine, the “womb” of creation and the root of form and matter, turning raw wisdom‑energy into differentiated patterns that can unfold through the lower seven sefirot.​

The supernal triad (not a “person” Trinity)

Later esoteric systems sometimes map this triad onto “crown–father–mother” archetypes or compare it with various trinities, but in classical Kabbalah it is primarily a metaphysical schema of emanation, not three separate divine individuals.

Together, Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah are called the “three Supernals,” constituting the highest, most subtle level of the Tree: Keter as the ineffable One, Chokhmah as outflowing force, and Binah as receptive form.​

Integrating the Spirals: Consciousness. Where God meets us; the intersection of science and spirituality. The mystical union.

I wrote a while back on here, that I wanted to dive into and write about the topics of Metaphysics, things that are multifaceted, and the multiverse, but so far, I haven’t done much of that. However, I have been watching a good many shows, documentaries, and YouTube channels having to do with those things, I just haven’t been taking the time to share them.

And I want my blog to flow in the direction of “Consciousness. Where God meets us; the intersection of science and spirituality. The mystical union.” There’s just sooo very much to talk about when it comes to having a mystical awakening!

I have started YouTube playlists (see all of my playlists: https://youtube.com/@spiralsister?si=QTi6VUe3P2C-PnLH ) to try and capture all of the YouTube videos (at least) that I watch on these subjects (and more, plus all of the music!), but I also watch a lot of documentaries on Amazon Prime and Paramount Plus, which I then forget to document in my blog. I save a screen capture many times and have a folder on my laptop of them, but honestly, I just take in so much that it then becomes overwhelming for me to share it. Plus, many of these are going into my fifth book, and I’ve just been stuffing that book folder instead of immediately turning these things into blog articles. Ugh!

I tend to watch the documentaries, lectures, and shows that are true (non-fiction) instead of the Sci-Fi stuff. Though on occasion, we do watch the Sci-Fi moves as well, and enjoy the consciousness expansion of those.

I know I haven’t posted many articles yet in the categories of Metaphysics, the multifaceted aspects of life, and the multiverse, but we’re not yet to the middle of the year, yet. I sure hope to get more posts out here like this because I do feel these are important topics, especially since who knows how much longer any of us have on this earth (if you’ve read the last couple of shared posts I’ve presented on the blog today)!

Sacred Sites

Though we’ve been on a Sacred Celtic Journey (in 2019) and I’ve had the immense JOY of standing inside the mysterious Newgrange (see my former posts: https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/08/03/a-sacred-celtic-journey-part-1-ireland/ and https://sheilamurrey.net/2020/04/11/newgrange-inside-the-chamber-during-the-winter-solstice/) and meditating inside the stone circle of Stonehenge (see my former post: https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/10/20/a-sacred-celtic-journey-part-2-england/), I still am mesmerized by shows such as Sacred Sites: Ireland, and Mystic Britain. Though I will say, Mystic Britain is more like MythBusters show.

April 21st – Gummin’ the Calamari

It’s April 21st, 2024; Here’s an original rock song (with cowbell) as we relax this weekend. It’s on a topic that Richard and I talked about for years. I always thought I’d get dentures–even when I was young! (I always hated my teeth.) This song puts some fun into all of that!

More fun than sex

Here’s the one-hundred-twelfth new music post for 2024, as I consistently bring you piano, guitar, and in this case, cowbell in original songs full of fun and laughter (a lot of the time). Yes, we put all our creative energies into our writing and songwriting! Ha! Take that as you may. We’re always open to receive and ready to for you to interpret our creations as you will.

Interconnectedness

I love the interconnectedness of ALL. And that is the subject of my 5th book that’s currently in progress. To that end, (the book not Consciousness), I watched the replay of a presentation I’d signed up for and then realized I had double-booked myself on Friday.

Emerging Consciousness

I’ve mentioned before how I love it “when a plan comes together.” Likewise, here we are today, after I had an enlightening conversation during my Theosophy book club on Friday, another with my second-cousin on Saturday morning, and then from observing the conversations in my mind after reviewing the IONS presentation this morning!

I won’t go into the full one-hour discourse of the IONS presentation, but here are a few takeaways I understood from it:

  • When the mind studies the Mind
  • Meditation, Philosophy, and Science = The Triune
  • Metaphysics includes: Buddhism, Shamanism, Shaivism, Kabbalah, and Vedanta
  • Metaphysics includes Intuition to reach Knowing (my conclusion)

April 9th – Forget you

It’s April 9th, 2024; Here’s an original traditional country song with a story about forgetting a love left behind. People say a lot of things when they’re in love or when they’re a couple. But often, when the relationship ends, all those things (that were said) go right out the window!

Forgetting them every day

Here’s the one-hundredth new music post for 2024, as I consistently spin one of our original songs, and this time it’s a slow-tempo, traditional country song. In the song, she was right–he forgets about her every day and night. They say time heals all wounds. That may be true. But it is probably because we have the ability to forget. We have the ability to change our consciousness.

Several months ago, my daughter and son-in-law turned us onto The Why Files—and not only have we watched every episode, but we look forward to each new episode each week (which we typically watch on Thursday or Friday night). We love it! It’s for high IQ or critical thinkers who care and like to have fun. Tin foil hats included! LOL

Near Death Experiences (NDEs) and Shared Death Experiences (SDEs) are near and dear to my heart after meeting Krista and Ainsley and hearing their NDE stories, and after working with Dr. Raymond Moody’s correspondence team last year—and getting to read and respond to many people who wrote their stories and sent them in to ask his opinion or advice.

Though the experiences that I shared in Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection were not NDEs, the one after my dad’s passing could be classified as an SDE. I’ll share the link to that specific story too, in case you are new to my blog.

Integrating the Spirals to calm fears

As an empath I want to help ease suffering and raise our vibration to offer hope. I want to uplift others and expand our collective consciousness. I teach breath work and meditation so we appreciate the value of Detachment. We till our inner soil with our breath to calm the amygdala and institute peace. Meditation is an easy way to Connect us with spirit, higher selves, Omniscience God, and receive non-programmed personal guidance.

Be the best version of who you want to be–because if you’re reading my words your soul is probably beckoning you to align with it and live up to your highest ideals. Not perfect because who is perfect? Most stagnate or ‘get stuck’ while on their way to being whatever they think perfection is. Making progress is enough. Carrying your Karma lightly is enough. Be kind to yourself while living responsibly. Who you ARE affects us ALL. We Are All Connected.
