It’s November 1st, 2024; We’ve got a new original song appropriate for All Saints Day, and also, a bonus song (because it was next on my list). I Return will probably resonate more with Christians (but let us know what you think). I Return is sung by Pro Nashville singer, Troy Johnson (who’s also written songs for independent and major artists) sings this infinitely important song–and does an amazing job! Then, on our bonus song, Angel’s Breath, Adam Cunningham is back with his beautifully soulful voice. I feel both songs are incredibly holy. Both songs were masterfully produced by the Beaird Music Group of Nashville, TN. https://www.beairdmusicgroup.com

This is the three-hundred-fourth new music post for 2024! Since it’s All Saints Day, I thought I’d share the next song in line–though Richard didn’t want me to promote it, since Angel’s Breath was written as a personal love song and song of faith for my best friend and her husband. It’s a true story! So, I also skipped ahead a few songs to offer a more commercial song, which my bestie (Doris Lee) also loves called, I Return. Happy All Saints Day everyone!

I Return. Music and lyrics by Richard Murrey.
Angels Breath, a very personal song and true story. Music and lyrics by Richard Murrey.

Thank you to Gray Summers and 80smetalman

Thank you to Gray Summers and 80smetalman for their comments on yesterday’s post regarding the taxes people pay in the UK, in particular to those who are carer’s of loved ones and/or retired. It’s incredible how much most of us pay in taxes, especially those of us over some arbitrary ‘financial threshold’ our government sets, while our governments throw money hand over fist away. I so appreciate knowing us ‘ordinary people’ are in the same boat, though I must say, it isn’t a good feeling. And my main point of this blog is to help us all ‘reach for a better feeling thought’ on subject after subject. I just can’t do it alone. And as you know, We Are All Connected.

“A country run by banks will always be in debt. Healthcare run by Big Pharma will never cure disease. A state run by war will never know peace. A nation run by media will never know the truth.” –Unknown, shared by Dr. Ben Tapper

I don’t understand how all my ‘love and light’ friends can vote for a Democrat. With the Cheney’s and Bush’s supporting the Democrat candidate, doesn’t that illuminate the war mongers? We weren’t in a war during the 4 years President Trump was in office. Do you know how much money the Military Industrial Complex makes when we’re at war? Follow the money. President Trump is the only plausible choice at this point, whether you like him or not.

Of course, I’d rather have preferred Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. or Jill Stein, but. the Democratic Party screwed the moderate Democrats. Whether you like President Trump or not, women can go to another state for an abortion (I’ve always believed in state’s rights anyway, that’s constitutional), but we can’t be at peace if we’re at war (with other countries, whether directly or indirectly via proxy wars). We’ve got to get back to the garden (of peace).

I don’t know. I don’t have all the answers of course, nor would I expect anyone to change who they’re voting for from reading this, but a vote for President Trump, Elon Musk, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. just makes sense to me. Call me crazy. I am your spiral sister, after ALL.

Everything happens for a reason

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24! And let’s (are you ready for this?) THRIVE in ’25!

Yours in expanding, sharing, spiraling consciousness,

  1. Some people are so conditioned and brain-washed, they can’t see that the Democratic Party is no longer the party of kindness, peace, and light, which was all nonsense to begin with. Democrat FDR got us into WWII and Democrat LBJ escalated the war in Vietnam. Biden got us embroiled with the Hamas-Israel conflict and the Russia-Ukraine mess. And of course, the Bush-Cheney neo-cons made big profits from Haliburton and the invasion of Iraq. It’s not a positive endorsement when the Bushes and Cheneys endorse you!

  2. We are, as you are over there, going through some bizarre days indeed. The politics are such that the vote is the only challenge you have to express your disgust at past and current dilemmas. And who come in to take over the reins? Another bunch of clowns. So, just getting by day to day is now the aim to life presently. I am no activist or warrior. Never have been Sheila. Just try to contribute positive energies through life’s journey, in a gentle way, and hope it can dance alongside the OM. 😊

    1. Ah, I know what you mean, Gray. Nobody listens to me anyway. And I am weary of the whole sham. But my soul still feels compelled to share. I pare it down a LOT though. I probably have 20GB of memes. LOL

Ah, “dance alongside the OM” feels like pure contentment. It’s a good thing to aim for, Gray. Cheers!

      1. I was never a warrior challenger in inherent nature. I, like yourself, understand the complexity of such major politically influential subjects. But I found that it was a fruitless and wasted exercise to put forward self belief arguments back when. Blowing in the Wind as Dylan sang. Cruelty exists, not only in the existence of war, but also how we are treated as citizens in a politically controlled vicious hierarchy. Also. Everyday conversations from the past with others, who are our peers, was like chasing down different alley ways scenarios. The next day’s reflections were basically a ‘Well that was a vent on our parts that fluttered away to who knows ‘waste of time’ nowhere’.

So it became less and less an active conversation subject on my part. I gained more from the basics of spiritual thinking. No deep spiritual analysis. It was simply about how certain narrow field spiritually uplifting undertakings, like a beautiful novel, piece of music, day on the beach, reactions from our children, great dinner party get together vibes, etc. gave far more to us than the uncontrollable states of others’ political influences. The influences on our lives, from political energies, that were out of reach for our own control. Like juggernaut non stoppable forces. Prices of petrol, a 1970s three day working week that plunged us all into darkness, the bombs that went off in nearby Ireland, famine, marching campaign, etc. We currently have many local community movements here that focus on improving local outcomes for a better life. I believe in local welfare and improving the quality of life for our immediate selves that can still go to adding to improvement for a better world and therefore wider impact. A local commitment to Zero Waste for example. A local comedy festival that brings unity through humour. Noticed by others in different counties that become multiplicative and spreads good vibes that benefit the spirit. Female and community singing choirs that promote positive new age energy, male Welsh choirs that provide cultural ongoing identity, food hubs that keep family’s nutrition needs satiated.

Bigger politics are controlled by idiots. The underbelly of logical local organising and concerned humanistic enterprise combats the weirdness of ‘higher impactful but ultimately nonsense’ stupidity and brings togetherness to find answers into the local problematics. The basics of life being looked after by sensible local enterprise. Yes, impact from government decision making can be really worrisome. But from little acorns…… Cheers Sheila.

      2. Ah, so true about thinking globally, and acting locally, Gray. I do sooo appreciate your time to share all of these thoughts with me/us. Cheers!
Love to Angie and Frankie! I will be sharing about the fantastic time I had with my daughter yesterday, in today’s blog post, with no politics. Ha!

      3. Family are a great grounding aren’t they. Be great to hear how you’re settling in to this move now. Reading your blogs and the experiences of pottery, art, etc. it is fantastic to be involved in these pastimes.

And Frankie Fella should be here in a couple of weeks. So be nice to see how he finds the countryside. And hopefully brings great comfort and relaxation therapy to Angie’s post busy, busy days. Cheers Sheila.

      4. Oh, yes, Gray. Family is definitely grounding! Ha! I can’t get away with anything! Haha!
Yes, I am loving being here, and though it’s cold, we are learning how to bundle. Or remembering. As both Richard and I grew up in cold winter climates.

That’s right, I recall reading you don’t have Frankie home yet, but I bet he’ll add a lot of joy to your home. Cheers, Gray.

      5. Thank you Sheila. We have had the two grandchildren stay overnight. So grounding is a great descriptor. Wales is rain cold, not frost/snow cold. Layering clothes is a constant isn’t it. But I like that mix it up vibe. 😊

      6. Yes, they are wonderful. I am so glad we moved here.
I hear you about Wales. I think the stones at Newgrange were preparing me for this by having me go back there during Winter Solstice 2019. I remember the rain cold then. We do have more of a dry cold here in New England. Per my daughter. I adapt well.
I like the layering too, Gray. I have more pictures to share tomorrow.

      7. New England! I love the film Baby Boom. Fell in love with the Vermont area after watching it all those decades ago. Very nice blog uploads reads from you with this ‘everyday life’ theme Sheila. All the best.

      8. Thank you, Gray. I vaguely remember that movie. I’ll have to watch it again.
Vermont was amazing to drive through when we moved here. My only complaint was having to drive the big moving truck up and down hills. But the roads were good! They pay a lot in taxes though.

  3. First song has a great vibe. That last isolated vocal to leave the song at the end was inspired. I am not sure regarding carer allowance and tax Sheila. I only know of my own situation regarding a pension contribution over years regarding both NHS and state pensions and subsequent tax by going over the threshold slightly. They increased the state pension recently, and then took it back through taxing my NHS pension because it then went over the threshold. We’ve just had our annual Government budget. Angie, as an employer, is now had her National Insurance Stamp contribution raised. She says she is now paying ‘loads more’. You can’t make up this current UK situation Sheila. Crazy times both here and in the USA it seems. However, I don’t discuss or think about politics in the way you do. I hate the negativity it brings. So avoid at all costs. Music! Thank the stars for music hey. 😊🙏🏽

    1. I understand, Gray. I will correct anything I wrote that was misleading (in regards to carer allowance and taxes), for you, Gray.
I only go down the political road when I feel it might be important or make a difference to someone. I am not immune from the propaganda and Programming either, and do see a lot on YouTube. Though I practice and teach how to DE-Program from it, and like you, use music to find my balance. Balancing all the time.
I became more interested in politics when the USA inserted itself into these current conflicts/wars. Ugh
Spending our tax money and we never voted on it!

  4. Two very good songs, although I prefer the first one. A reason why I voted for Stein is because I got sick and tired of having to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. I see all over the place that people say that if Trump wins, the Republicans will go for a nationwide abortion ban, is there any truth to this?

    1. They may, but I won’t support that. We don’t need doctors prosecuted for performing a medical procedure to save a woman’s life, or end a pregnancy for a girl who was raped by her father or other relative. People are sick and do twisted things to kids. No 8 or 10 year old girl should be forced to give birth. I will just never accept that.
I think taking abortion back to the states is fair and is what the founders of America had in mind. They knew people wouldn’t agree on everything.
I love that you voted for Jill Stein. If we could get the money out of politics we might actually get someone like her IN the White House.
