It’s May 15th, 2024; Here’s an original pop rock anthem-like song that’s quite timely–actually, I say it’s timeless! Here we have all the makings of an anthem that needs to be spread far and wide as each year the powers that be continue to dumb down the masses. This song offers Bubba Hudson’s fine vocals in an upbeat production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN.

Don’t speak

Here’s the one-hundred-thirty-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently press one of our original songs via this blog. Richard and I have seen the ‘dumbing down’ of Americans since the 1990s (or even earlier), but it only continues to worsen due to ‘cancel culture’ and censorship. I found the height of hypocrisy and stupidity when the phrase, ‘My body, my choice’ (previously used by women who wanted to retain their body autonomy during pregnancy), yet ignored by those same people during COVID when vaccinations were foisted upon the masses. To me, it’s still ‘My body, my choice.’ No change in the circumstances is going to take away the inherent freedom I have over MY body. But in polite circles, we don’t speak of these things, I guess. Bloody well right, I’ve got a bloody right to say (as the lyrics of my favorite Supertramp song sings).

Critical thinking

Few topics fire me up as much as Freedom of Speech. I spent years in college to learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. I researched both sides of a subject in order to form my opinion and arguments by which to defend my position. Public speaking was one of my favorite classes–I was even to help write a play while in school that myself and several others acted in. And I participated in a recorded video about Sexual Harassment in the workplace too. I didn’t attend any protests but probably would have if any had been going on at my campus back then.

The word FREE is found within the word FREEDOM

I always hear warmongers say, ‘Freedom isn’t free’ and it sooo annoys me. Freedom is free as the very word contains it. Freedom to choose and speak is built into the American way of life. It’s such a part of the USA that people have died to protect Freedom since the founding of the nation. Most Americans would rather live free, or die!

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. I sometimes get annoyed that we can’t respect ourselves enough to see the intricacies of how each of us (as fractals) create the kaleidoscope grand design that freely lives, moves, and breathes. Don’t tread on me.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time.

May we all soar in ’24! Everything happens for a reason AND Everything Resolves to Gratitude, so we can live FREE!

Yours in expanding, free-falling, spiraling consciousness,

  1. I never had inoculations of flu updates etc. Any inoculation used to floor me badly. Then nursing pushed us all into corners. Encouraged to be vaccinated. Patient contact, their vulnerability to disease presence, us being responsible professionals to protect and ethical pressure. I never followed up with flu. But Covid….yes. Two initial jabs, but I said no to boosters. I was wary in the speed process of introduction from the very start! But my conscience was pushing to the fore. I caught Covid after retiring from nursing. Ironic! And have never felt 100% since. Impactful low feelings of ‘can’t put my finger on it’ illnesses still persist. It is if your immune system has and still is taking a battering. I was hardly ever off work for 20 years. Always going to work and facing each day. I remember a doctor once said, ‘Our immune systems, as professionals, must be amazing. Facing what we face every day with others’ illness presentations. We ought to bottle our immune response capabilities!’ Your blog just kind of made me think. I wrote a lyric once in a song called Innicent Victim’ back in the 1970s. ‘There’s so much happening, we don’t know which way to go’. I feel like that presently. Cheers Sheila.

    1. I hear you, Gray. If my husband and I hadn’t worked for the government, if we hadn’t experienced the inefficiencies and mistakes (and greed) of Big Pharma, if we hadn’t experienced the healings from fasting, juicing, and eating raw vegan foods (in 2005), if we didn’t follow doctors like Dr. Tenpenny, Dr. Mercola, Dr. McCullough, and many more (before the mandates came down), we might have taken the shots too. But in my life, I have experienced medical wrongdoings. I have been made worse by medical interventions, and I have come through by using simple and alternative approaches. So, I can’t go back. I couldn’t accept the mainstream narrative now if I tried (or if they paid me). I’ve come too far and seen too much.
I appreciate your sharing here because it’s still a controversial and touchy subject for most people! So many people thought we were wrong to abstain from the medical intervention (shots), but we knew our bodies better and couldn’t risk it, especially since it was new technology (mRNA), and rushed at warp speed. I will always bet on natural immunity.
I do hope you find relief and healing from the effects. Healing ❤️‍🩹!

      1. When Angie and myself started living above the Wholefood Shop in our home city, Coventry, back in 1974, we were aware of the essential dietary needs to feel alive and well. I became vegetarian at 18 years old. So 50 years ago. My enquiring mind looked at everything holistic surrounding many subjects that you highlighted here. We looked at eating foods from the wild, herbalism, organic, etc. That is why, on moving here to Wales, Angie’s ambition was to pursue the Dyfi Wholefoods shop ideal.

Unfortunately, I was in social services and then the NHS and following directive requests. I totally avoid conspiracy theories, and always base my health findings on gold standard research. But it is so confusing nowadays. That is why I said about that lyric. ‘There’s so much happening, we don’t know which way to go’. But with the Community supporting the Wholefood shop and all the ideas that are present in the area, we are very much aware of heading in the right direction still. It is just so strange regarding a life where my energy was high, to crash frequently nowadays. May simply be linked to too much time, over about 9 months now, spent flying solo and alone at home during the day for long periods of no social interaction that has impacted. It’s rather similar to the time that many felt anxiety and uncertainty Worldwide during isolation during Covid. Cheers Sheila.

      2. Ah, and now I see where our paths diverge, Gray! Of course, it’s all good and I totally understand. I’m just glad you like my posts well enough, even when I fall into a proverbial rabbit hole of conspiracy! Ha!
Yes, I believe/feel you have faired better (notwithstanding the two shots), since you have been following a vegetarian lifestyle (and I presume eating clean, organic, whole foods—we all know some vegetarian can still include junk foods).
I won’t hound you about the conspiracy theories (though many have been proven true now), but I think I have been a conspiracy theorist since the X-Files. Haha! Oh, I kill myself (laughing). I attempt to balance though.
I so love that Angie’s shop is central to your life and experience. I learned a lot from volunteering in a health food store in Florida during a time when I was between government contracts for full-time work.
        Cheers!

      3. We all have our own ways to making sense of things that are happening currently. I suppose with health research, especially the Cochrane Library enquiries and conclusions, I was keen to capture a focus. It meant decisions could be made. But also, I used to relook and review again too to seek for changes or updates. With the huge impact of the virus being fairly recent, the literature reviews and enquiries will be early days. It’s strange days indeed, as John Lennon sang. Cheers Sheila.

      4. Strange days indeed, Gray. Yes, I agree that the journals change often and many so-called studies (the reports), get changed or pulled as more of the effects become known. Sad. But we know this is all part of actual Science that is debated, studied, and corrected as more is observed.
I like Dr. Sheri Tenpenny because she actually reads the studies. It’s apparent every time she testifies to Congress. I have watched many of her testimonies for her home state of Ohio, as well as nationally.

      5. Experiences. If there are positives from the past to be built on further? Brilliant. Negatives that were done and dusted. Cannot be revisited or repaired. Leave them where they belong. But then…..’Happy Together’ begs to differ doesn’t it! 😊 Cheers Sheila.

      6. We played ‘Outside Chance’ by The Turtles live in the XCerts for a fair few gigs. I loved singing and playing that song. That Turtles bass line, Paul McCartney and Steve Curry from T. Rex bass lines were all I listened to for inspiration when begining to play bass in the XCerts.

I remember my Mum and Dad buying me a leather case covered radio for one Christmas when I was very young. Radio Luxembourg was a station I always tuned in to. Offshore radio. Happy Together was always on with every DJ playing it. A fair few years later I bought the double Turtles Greatest Hits vinyl album. I still have it. I’m going to dig it out and get listening. Cheers Sheila.
