This is the new song we’ve been working on for the last month. Usually working up a melody for the lyrics comes easily to me or to my songwriting extraordinaire husband, Richard. But for some reason, this time, I struggled. I worked my Integrating the Spirals process on it too, tightening up and loosening it until I finally gave up. After a prayer uttered for spiritual “support,” when I sat down to sing and record the song, the attached is what came out after a mere few takes. I don’t know why I didn’t pray about it before, especially given the nature of the song! Ha! (Yes, I know, go figure!)
Take a listen and see what you think. I liked the last chorus best so we asked the Nashville studio to follow that one for the others—they did that without us specifically asking, but we asked anyway.
Song rough demo
This is the version of A man we sent to Nashville:
What known artist can you hear singing this? I’ll reach out to them on X.
Here’s the pro demo! Update Oct. 24, 2024: Richard created a new video for this song:
Yours in expanding, musical, revolving, spiraling consciousness,
To our better health, ease, and sustaining lives of JOY!

I’m a process person
Integrating the Spirals can do more for you than ease suffering. (It helps in many ways–when you use it; find it at Integrating the Spirals course.)

As an empath I offer this course to ease suffering and raise the vibration to extend hope and expand our collective consciousness. Using breath work and meditation, we appreciate the value of Detachment. We till our inner soil to calm the amygdala and institute peace. Meditation is an easy way to Connect us with spirit, higher selves, Omniscience God, and receive new personal guidance we may not have otherwise received–since we’ve all been programmed.

Hi Sheila. Saw and read this a few days ago and looked for the song link. Thought I was missing something. Couldn’t find a song link. But had to dash to get to family for visits and didn’t have time to look properly. Now back home. And it’s great to see you have uploaded, as I now call it, ‘The Arrow Bar of Melodies and Thoughts’. You have a very much instantly remembered song tune here. Loved the lyrics and the Amen/A Man interchanges. Looking forward to see what Nashville does with this. All the best and good fortune with the ongoing process. 🙏🏽

Thank you, Gray! Ah, yes, silly me, uploaded it quickly and missed the small message at the bottom of the app that said something like “WordPress doesn’t allow this format” when I went to upload it again. Ugh.
Had to ask Richard to change the format for me to mp3 so I could actually get it uploaded.
I had wondered about you today, if you were okay and was going back to your site to see if I missed anything, so I am glad to read this comment and that you and your wife got to visit with family (so important)! Beautiful!
And yes, we are also looking forward to hearing what Nashville does with this song. Thanks for saying it’s an “instantly remembered song”! That’s a fantastic vote of confidence for us! Cheers!!

I use Facebook Messenger to share ideas with the guys in the band. I too have to convert to tinier format. But it sounds the same to the recorded one in my ears. Christmas is visiting to drop various pressies and also go to Trentham Gardens for a little wintery break. So the last week and a half has been a journeys and home back and forth experience. Your songs are definitely ones that grab a tune and run with it. Cheers and all the best Sheila.

Actually I had uploaded it in mp4, which WordPress didn’t accept. A friend on Facebook finally told me the song wasn’t there. I had to have hubby convert it to mp3 and I will upload it shortly.
