Expanding consciousness ALL the time

Nearly every time I have turned around this week, there’s been something new happening to expand my consciousness. Thus, I felt compelled to write about it though next up was going to be my Halloween post and why I had scheduled the shared “Munchkins” post to come out today.

I don’t often schedule posts because our life is more random and serendipitous than planned or controlled. And I like that. It’s organic the way nature intends.

Expanding experiences

Spur of the moment my daughter invited me to participate in a Facebook “Fall Shopping” multi-vendor group. I had never done one before—she has done many. I thought, “What the heck, maybe I will pick up some new blog readers, even sell a book or two. I have never seen authors in any of those groups I have been in (as a customer) to support my daughter who sells Color Street nail polish strips and more. So, I asked the facilitator/moderator/rule maker queen, and she needed one more vendor (they always want 18). She had not had an author in a group before either. Win-win for expanding consciousness. Ha!

I first struggled to get 16 of my Facebook friends IN the group. Queen facilitator said newbies like me, must have 16-20 friends in the group—we had to keep checking who got in too and send her a screenshot. UGH I almost quit right then. But I had already paid my entrance fee.

We had to send a Messenger message to each friend asking if they wanted to join before sending them the link. She didn’t want us clicking the Invite button from the top of the group page (a Facebook feature). And as a writer, okay, but I also WORK! So, I scrambled the first day to fit all the invitations in between work tasks. More expansion occurred throughout with reconnecting with new and old friends. Some said yes though and even after I reminded them, they never joined. Not sure what happened.

The vendors had to post at pre-determined and scheduled times. Anytime within an hour time slot, three times a day. I missed the first one but thankfully queen facilitator let me post my intro post a couple hours later because my 16th person fell through and I had to quickly find another just prior to my first scheduled time. UGH Aggravation or expansion, I don’t know.

Facebook Group posts

I learned something new. I am now skilled at setting “scheduled posts” within a Facebook group. Yep! Consciousness expanded.

Creativity – I loved being so creative this week. I made new memes,

New Friends – Yes, I made new friends from within the group and some of my wonderful and kind soulie sisters, like Nikki (here’s her blog) stretched herself a bit too and joined just to support me and share all about how she carries Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection around with her (I love that my book has comforted her or helped in any way—she’s such a solid person and so kind and loving).

Doing the work – for someone like me who works from home and doesn’t get out much, this group stretched me in all kinds of ways. I had to think fast, ask, follow through, follow directions, create, entice, and offer all of the other vendors support by way of commenting on each of their posts with a minimum of five words. Yep.

Odds and Ends

But lastly, I’ll mention the new song hubby wrote (and needed me to do a quick sing) so he could send it to the Nashville studio? Yep. Here it is:

And my work tasks picked up mid-week. We received an invite to lunch next week with longtime high school friend and his wife. It didn’t require much thought to request a couple hours off work and see if our favorite restaurant was good for them. We had the usual array of odd and end things to take care of but I felt I was handling the chaos better. Maybe my BrainTap headset device is helping me after all! Ha!

I follow the Is-ness or ‘Snails Path’

Energy is the power behind ALL. Source creates. ALL rises, falls, undulates, pulsates, spins, whirls, collapses, expands, shrinks. The Dao (Daoism) emanates from the dot. Holism envelopes. ALL simply IS. Omniscience (Omnism) governs ALL.
