A book I read back in the 1980s was the Way of Wyrd by Brian Bates. I read it and found its fictional tale between a Christian Scribe and an Anglo Saxon mystic, who carves and uses runes extensively, a fascinating story. I was asked to make ceramic runes often around that time too. Retirement is really comforting and a great opportunity to explore lots of interesting themes at leisure. Thank you for your reply.
