A day in Jesus’ life if He walked the earth NOW?
This is a question I am currently pondering: What would a day in Jesus’ life look like if He walked the earth NOW?
- Would His disciples be glued to their smartphones, while sitting in Jesus’ presence?
- Would He or His disciples watch TV, listen to the radio, talk on the phone, play video games, or get caught up in any “distractions”?
- Would He still wear sandals, shoes, or walk barefoot?
- Would Jesus own property? Maybe somewhere Off Grid, where He could commune with nature?
- Would Jesus eat processed food, or grow His own food?
- Would Jesus preach and teach from different churches or homes? Tent revivals? Sacred ancient sites? Beaches? Street corners? Speak on social media?
- Would Jesus drive, or walk? Ride a bicycle, or have his disciples drive him around? Perhaps use public transportation?
- How many hours a day would Jesus pray? Would He meditate?
- Would Jesus watch or play sports of any kind?
- How would Jesus CONNECT people?

There are many fine comments here. Kudos to the authors who are spiritually awake as well as articulate. I would only add that we are admonished to become a living sacrifice. This only gains traction if we acknowledge the transcendent nature of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. The time and place of His birth, death, and resurrection was essential for opening this transcendent gateway to a personal relationship with Omniscience. Jesus is alive today in us as a consequence. We become living sacrifices by dying to our little selves to be reborn as our bigger selves, living in the Holy Spirit’s domain. In a sense He is using a cellphone when we do.

Thank you for this! I also wonder what Jesus would be like if He were to walk the earth now. I think if I were Jesus, looking down the corridor of time, I’d rather live now with our modern conveniences, plentiful food, mass communications tools, and air-conditioned automobiles to zoom around in — plus a more humane way of execution. Of course, He picked the right time to visit us, and we’re all eternally grateful for His visit. I think all believers spend time wondering what it would be like to encourager Him on earth!

Ah, “a more humane way of execution” I hadn’t thought of that! Anything other than the methods used in antiquity would probably be more humane, eh?
I love how you said, “He picked the right time to visit us…” ❤️🦋🌀🙏☯️

💜 Having Surveyed how Christianity has Corrupted His Teachings, Visited Violence upon Others and Splintered in to Numerous Churches, Denominations, Cults and Sects “Jesus” and His 12 Female and 12 Male Disciples would Spend Their Days, with whatever the resources available to them, UnDoing The Damage Caused by Christianity and Restore The Rightful Teachings especially Making The Point that He was NOT!!! a Christian

I agree that the various denominations (demons?) probably have corrupted Jesus’ original teachings, and I feel it is my mission to call those out. God is Omniscience, so there is not “ONLY one way” to God… and there’s so much HEALING in knowing that! Jesus set a prime example!!! He even said, we would know him in Truth, and do greater things than He did! But people are sheep, and want to feel they do enough to attend church, pay tithes or charity, and not give God ALL! We all fall short, yes, but God looks on our heart and intentions…
And Omniscience God doesn’t think with small minds like WE do… so, there’s sooo much more…
Much Love and many blessings to you.

💜 Agreed, Thank YOU!!! and Right Back Atcha and, yup, “HEALING” Restores Sight to Eyes Blinded by Conditioned UpBringing and Reveals “Truth” as We Return to The Purity of Our ChildLike State; for Did He Not Say to the Stern, Strict, Restrictive, Harsh Disciplinarian Parents “Suffer the children to come unto me for they shall inherit the earth.” 🤔 ?
