March 14th – All about the mojo

It’s March 14th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song for you today about getting your mojo back! This rock tune has some decent guitar runs and riffs. And Bubba Hudson’s vocals add depth. Another sweet professional mix from Steven’s Nashville, TN music studio.

Mojo is so hot

Here’s the seventy-third new music post for 2024, as I consistently blast a new song from Richard’s music catalog for your listening pleasure every day. This original rock song is all about getting your mojo going. What’s mojo? If you don’t know, perhaps recall the Austin Powers movie? Haha!

Desires of the flesh

As discussed in yesterday’s article, love is a phenomenon that science has yet to figure out. But the desires of the flesh are easy. It’s easy to fall in lust, which is a very different thing than falling in love. Lust is just the physical desire and attraction, like getting your mojo going, which definitely falls into the category of the Material Self, as presented in the pyramid diagram by William James:

“Hierarchy of self: Material, Social, Pure Ego, and Spiritual (from bottom to top of the pyramid)” –William James

I’ve been studying The Seven Principles and found this slide very interesting. The way the Material Self category is placed at the bottom and widest part of the pyramid is probably due to the fact that most humans think we are only material bodies, and rarely even think about how social we are (stemming from our Social Self), that we have a Soul (that shows up as our Ego), or that we have a Spiritual Self (Higher self).

Meme: “I only fall in love with souls. I never fall in love with people. People change. They come and go. But a soul remains forever. I suppose that is why when I love, it is a deep love. An unconditional love. A forever love.” –Spiritual League

This is why breaking up is hard to do

This explains why love hurts when we focus on the material level of existance. When we love deeply, we are attached to another’s soul. We never feel they can do anything wrong, or if they do, we forgive easily and try again, knowing nobody’s perfect. But when those we love continue taking advantage of us or hurting us, we realize they don’t love us as deeply (or on the soul or spiritual levels) as we love them. That’s when we may choose to walk away. And that’s why it’s difficult. Breaking deep bonds is hard to do.

Integrating the Spirals: Meditating on the yin-yang symbol

I’d like to share with you a meditation that I have done, and continue to do, that brings one increased awareness of the Light and Shadow. Both are needed and both occur in a sort of balancing act. Or one could call it a dance. Or breathing. As there is ebb and flow. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio (and there’s a few minutes of BONUS info on the audio this time too!):

Something just dropped in

Something just dropped in. I’ll share here that if you’re doing what you love, keep doing it. But if you’re not doing what you’d love, like at your job or something on a daily consistent basis, then keep reaching. There’s the word for you the key meeting. So, find the joy and enjoy the time that you spend reaching. And if you never make it to wherever that goal or dream job is, then at least you’ve enjoyed the time you’ve spent on the way, on the journey, on the reaching–for something.

While meditating on the yin-yang symbol

While I was meditating on the yin-yang symbol (and I do this as a ball, not simply as a 2-dimensional symbol), and I’ve spoken about this before, how I visualize or imagine that the yin and yang is a 5-dimensional ball–with the white part expanding and the black part shrinking. Or the black part expands and sucks volume from the white part! And now, I am speaking of the larger part of the yin and the yang sides, not the little circle that’s within each. That can change too, but that’s irrelevant at this moment.

The meditation I was doing was on a balloon-like yin-yang symbol. The wavy line that separates yin from yang indicates that it’s in motion. Yes, it’s moving. It’s pulsating. It’s breathing! The way in which it is changing shows me that it is always balancing.

But the new thought that popped into my mind while I was doing the meditation was several questions, “What if it’s not a ball? What if it’s not a balloon? What if it’s a tunnel? What if it’s a whole hole?”

When we see a bubble do we see a circular item a bubble, or a ball? Think about the inverse of that think about the hole.

And perhaps the reason this came to mind was because I love caves and I love digging in the dirt for things, planting, hunting for crystals, that kind of stuff. So I had never made the connection that the yin-yang could be a hole, could be circular.

I suppose also this may have come to my mind because in my subconscious rest, there was a show that my husband and I watched awhile back and it was all about this big hole out west somewhere. In this show, of the characters in the show, one falls into the hole, and you think, “Well, he’s gone.” But then later, he ends up coming back. When these things happen in a script we say, “Oh, we knew he was too big of an actor to be gone forever from the show.” So, tada! The actor returns to another place or timeline. And so it’s almost like the two-dimensional thing going on. So that might have been stuck in my subconscious, right?

As I was meditating, that image of that hole came up and I was like, yeah, what if? What if it’s not a ball or a bubble? Is it a portal or a hole? Tell me what you think about that to be really curious, also I’d like to really build a community and not just the WordPress community of readers, but a community that’s living and breathing.

Meeting

We can meet on Zoom, maybe on a Saturday or Sunday, maybe once a month. Let’s build something you know where we meet once a month. So let me know if you’re interested in that at least to start off with. I mean, there’s no cost involved for me as long as I keep it. I think it’s under 100 people on the Zoom call so I won’t have to charge we’ll just do it for fun and see what comes of it. I think at least for many of us, we can just learn and grow with each other and I’m more than willing to put had 30 minutes an hour of my time on the weekend. Once a month, maybe even twice a month. If there’s interest, you all have to let me know. Thanks so much. Much love and many blessings!

Yours in expanding, breathing, meditating, balancing, spiraling consciousness,

To our better health, ease, and sustaining lives of JOY!

Be kind to yourself while living responsibly. Who you ARE affects us ALL. We Are All Connected.

Energy/Omniscience (Omnism) governs ALL. Omniscience knows ALL. Omniscience is always with you. You are never alone.

My online Zoom video course, Integrating the Spirals is more timely now than ever because I know people are suffering. (Let me know if you’re interested in working through the Integrating the Spirals course.)

As an empath I want to help ease suffering and raise our vibration to offer hope. I want to uplift others and expand our collective consciousness. I teach breath work and meditation so we appreciate the value of Detachment. We till our inner soil with our breath to calm the amygdala and institute peace. Meditation is an easy way to Connect us with spirit, higher selves, Omniscience God, and receive non-programmed personal guidance.

Rosicrucian Reflections #199

My Spirituality

I’ll spiral back full circle on this and sum up my spirituality in a few minutes in this post, but first, I feel a little backstory is needed since defining one’s spirituality can be complex–at least I feel mine is. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio:

Background – My religious upbringing

I was raised in the Christian faith, specifically the original Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the church it was before Brigham Young took some of the members west and rebranded it Mormons. There are lawsuits, which made them reorganize and add the word “Reorganized” to their name, thus The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) and volumes of church history detailing all the reasons. And I still feel compelled to explain it in this way, as being called, Mormons, always felt derogatory to my mom, and thus, to me. Somehow (I’m sure for many reasons) we considered our church “better than” the other and “set apart.” We were specifically taught that our church was the “one true church of Jesus Christ.” And people have called me arrogant.

As well, my mom always said we studied, loved, and worshipped the same Jesus of Nazareth as all other Christians. But we had a second witness, The Book of Mormon, that proved Jesus visited the Americas after his death and before his resurrection and ascension to sit at the right hand of God.

I used to question our pastor, my grandfather, my uncle, and any other elder or priesthood member who would listen to my many questions throughout my youth, especially why dinosaurs were not mentioned in the Bible nor the Book of Mormon (though giants were and appeased me for decades).

Since I mentioned my mom, I’d be remiss to leave out my dad from this conversation. My dad rarely attended church with us as he’d been raised Methodist and was way too worldly (and busy working) to attend to his spirituality until he was much older–in fact, he wasn’t baptized into my mom’s faith until after my mom passed away–within two years of his passing.

The heart, not a literal Satan, is the source of evil

The RLDS is also a highly structured religion, quite similar to the Catholic faith. Oddly, I never heard any sermons about the devil though–not in my church anyway. I heard plenty in my best friend’s Baptist church sermons though. Woo! Scary stuff. I had been taught about sin, of course, but not to fear an actual devil–perhaps because whatever we fear we give our power to? Thus, I never really believed in the devil. In the last 20 years, my third husband has presented me with the concept that “evil lies in men’s hearts.” And that makes more sense to me than a literal Satan urging people to do wrong. I think many people use the devil or Satan as a scapegoat for making wrong choices or hurting people intentionally–they have someone (or some dark entity) to blame. I find it sad and disturbing when people do not take responsibility for their own thoughts and actions.

About Jesus

I have prayed to Jesus, though praying to Omniscience God feels better, more aligned with me, and more inclusive. In fact, (prove me wrong) I have yet to find ANY divisiveness in Omnism (or at least the way I see Omniscience–“have no other gods before me” applies, whereas I always got stuck when it came to praying to Jesus instead of to God. (The RLDS faith always prayed to “The Heavenly Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” At least God the Father was named first.) Omniscience includes Jesus, as well as, ALLah (emphasis mine on the word ALL within the name), Buddha, and all of us–children of God.

About the earth

I believed in a ‘young earth’ creationism—and wrote a college paper about it, featuring the works of Dr. Carl Baugh of Creation Evidences Museum in Texas. He believed man and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time.

However, now, after visiting Newgrange and Knowth in Ireland, Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, and Bath in England, and Rosslyn Chapel and its castle and grounds, plus the faerie glen of Scotland, I am inclined to believe the earth is much older. I also read Gregg Braden’s books and view his video updates since attending his lectures.

One of my last living uncles (a minister in the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) believes “a day is like a thousand years to God” though and this could explain a lot.

Time as a concept

I am very intrigued with Time as a concept too, after experiencing transcendental moments, and a car accident that literally slowed down my perception of Time—and it wasn’t just my perception of it, my daughter had the same experience!

Only one way or All paths lead to God

I never bought the “Jesus is the only way” concept taught in so many Christian churches. I know many good people of different faith traditions and if God is Love, I cannot believe Love would condemn them, much less burn them in a fiery Hell. Then again, I often feel this earth is Hell, which is why digging potatoes is called, helling potatoes.

Exploring ALLways

I love what Russell Brand has said about the different faiths and their holy scriptures resonated with me. And hearing him say this quote, gave me GodBumps!

I would be pagan but they don’t seem to revere the ancestors the way I do. I am very into archeology, crystals, caves, rock formations, herbs, essential oils, tinctures, and honoring ALL of the directions (more than “as Above, so Below”). But I am not into blood sacrificing—though I do eat meat occasionally and of course, Jesus was a living sacrifice, so there’s that. Spiral thought: One of the main reasons I was taught Jesus came to earth was to set us all free from having to make blood sacrifices. I don’t believe in killing anyone, probably even if they were trying to kill me! But other times I think I would fight back. I suppose it depends on the situation. I never thought I could live with myself if say, I accidentally ran someone over. I feel guilty about shit that I’m not even guilty of–and I’ve been like that since I was a child (since I can remember), so I must be wired that way.

Wicca never interested me due to all their rituals, but the incantations and spelling fascinate me (all those words and how I can find words within words). I don’t really see the difference between most Catholic/Christian churches and Wicca because of all the rituals and rites. To me, again, Jesus came to set us free from all that. Of course one could surmise freedom begets laziness, and I don’t think Jesus meant for us to be lazy. I think he meant us to be busy healing people, teaching people, and caring for people. And spending time in solitary prayer and meditation. Ah, kind of like what the Buddha would do!

I wobble like the earth

I believe Spirituality is meant to include actions/activities. Not necessarily in dogmatic fashion but like yoga, as a practice, we can improve upon daily. To increase our vibration and raise our consciousness. I wobble like the earth. I am practicing to be as water–always finding my own level. I am always balancing. I am always seeking.

But…

I’ve never been much attracted to deities, any of the saints, angels, Marys, etc. Nor did Santa Claus hold much of my attention at Christmas.

I believe Spirituality is something we breathe and live. We can ride it without the training wheels of religion because Spirituality is a spiral path of continuous clearing, cleansing, and healing on many levels.

If practices become rote, we need to continue learning, diving deep, and conversing with friends and mentors.

Perhaps every person will be saved, but that is up to Omniscience God to decide. I think it’s akin to floating in water. We can float for a while and clean our bodies and enjoy the sensations, but for too long we starve, the body bloats, and eventually dissolves if not eaten by another creature. All-is-one when you see the fractal nature of it all. And the spiral paths that bring us back around to lessons we thought we had learned only to find more layers of the onion to peel back and peer beneath.

No one religion is “Perfect” – Nobody’s “Perfect”

After being let down by people in most Reiki groups, and churches—including Unity and other more supposed enlightened churches, I keep returning to Omniscience (Omnism), the Dao (Daoism), and Theosophy (because I am a naturally gifted dowser and most religions don’t encourage much less honor that gift).

Now, my spirituality is a blend of all I’ve experienced and come to know as truth. My spirituality is a circle, a spiral, a never-ending story. A pioneer path. A long and winding road.

Yin Yang – always observe and change your perception

I am a fractal of Omniscience and I believe each of us are—this indeed makes one grand design. Meditate on the yin and yang ☯️ not the 2D drawing but the 3, 4, or 5D version which breathes, pulses, undilates, and emanates Light! When the shadow grows larger the lighter portion shrinks but always this symbol seeks its own balance and like water. (Hint: that’s what the wavy line in the middle represents—water, movement, action!)

I’ve enjoyed the writings of Norman Vincent Peale, Wayne Dyer, and Neale Donald Walsch. And feel living as close to The Ten Commandments and The Beattitudes—actually living those, is perhaps as good a person as I will be and thank Omniscience God for the Grace when I fall. After ALL, nobody’s perfect. There’s no Perfection in Art. And surely Life is an Art.

Omnism

I am an ever-evolving spiritual being. I consider myself an Omnist, always open to experiencing life in ALL its fullness and myriad offerings. I’m introspective, quiet, and a deep thinker. I’m quite vocal when I become passionate about something, so when I feel compelled to speak, give me a mic and hear me roar!

I popped open, Spiritually, in 2005 when I had a transcendental experience in the middle of the night many years ago. I heard a deep male voice say, We Are All Connected. I’ve spoken about this publicly. See the low-quality video of that story on YouTube: https://youtu.be/_ttVo3rI_i8?si=JJMn5lDLa7tGv1-y

I continue to embrace the following scripture as a way to explain “We Are All One.”

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:1-6

4 Reed / BEN – A Creation of Unconditional Love: Day 4 of 13

After Tuesday night Reiki circle: Feb 21

Driving home from Reiki circle tonight. Tonight’s circle is a free Tuesday night healing session. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio:

Each week we discuss one subject

Every time we sit in a circle and each time there’s a specific topic.

Spiral thought: I love to record (while driving) obviously for my blog but for myself even too. So I remember and I kind of go ahead and imprint that into the cells of my body, the subject that we spoke about.

So the subject tonight was spirituality. Huge subject I know and one that of course, I can ‘spiral thought‘ about it in all kinds of ways I don’t even recall exactly what I said. Because when we had our turn to speak about what the word meant to us, we introduced ourselves first, and then we could mention why we were there or how we came to be in the circle. And how we met our Reiki master Victoria, or anything else we want to share, and then talk about what the word means to us. Well, tonight, of course, the word is spirituality. I didn’t want to have any preconceived notions on what to say.

Spiral

Probably had I given it very much thought I would have said the spiral symbolizes spirituality for me especially now after 2019 and coming to know more about the petroglyphs, markings, and engravings on the walls of the ancient burial temple/burial chamber of Newgrange but also the rocks, giant boulders–the huge neolithic stones of Newgrange and Knowth.

So, the spiral is one of the most ancient symbols and to me, the word spiral is encased and enshrined in the words spirit and spirituality. I know that that’s where they take spires from as well and there’s usually always a spire on top of a cathedral or a church, a house of worship. So there’s that.

When I say spiral thoughts about spirituality, I can go off in many different directions with it. Its spirituality can be a belief system. A way of life. It’s how you interact with what’s external to you. So you may believe this idea that we’re spirit and we’re clothed or wrapped in human tissue. We’re Spirit coming to earth to live and experience life in this earthly body or vessel or temple. And so we’re constantly aware of our environment and surroundings. We’re aware of nature. We’re open to nature. And I know that I spoke about being open which was one of a part of my answer about what I think spirituality is. Or how do I view that turn spirituality it’s also about learning and growing and practicing, because I can read about something all day long, but if I never bring it in, if I don’t open to it and allow it to come into me, and become intimate with it and integrate it into my physicality. I’m not experiencing it. And so to do that, for me, it becomes a practice or it needs to become a practice.

An example, breathwork

So breathwork is an example. Spirit is breath. Breath is Spirit. This is the ether that surrounds us all. It’s like if you were fish, the water would be what surrounds you, but we’re, we’re air-breathing creatures, mammals. So the air is our ether. It’s what surrounds us. So we’re breathing spirit in with every breath. And then as we exhale, we’re exhaling chemically something different compounds, you know, breathing in oxygen, nitrogen we’re breathing out carbon dioxide. So technically what we’re breathing in is different than what we’re breathing out. And just remember from elementary school that trees were the opposite. They would breathe in, what we breathe out, and then they would give us or add to the oxygen in our environment.

Symbiotic nature

So we’ve got this symbiotic nature. Sadhguru says that trees are the other half of our lungs. For that very reason. Right? So I breathe in. What the tree breathes out, the tree breathes then when I breathe out, pretty cool. So we’re interacting, or we’re the yin and yang. with nature. And specifically trees in my example, but you know, it can be any living thing and I believe even the rocks are living. Because I’ve experienced a real I’ve had relationship with various rocks and stones crystals. So it’s not just the things that have a pulse that is alive. Or the things like trees that have Sapt running through them.

So it’s not just about blood, water, a liquid something inside of something that makes it alive. But I do think there’s a consciousness involved in all living things. I don’t think my opinion is that if something isn’t alive, there’s no consciousness. So I know part of my answer tonight was expanding consciousness.

If we are alive, and we’re always in this interactive dance spirit, by the act of breathing, then spirituality is us becoming conscious and aware of the dance of the symbiotic relationship. So we can keep this minimal or we can go as deep with this as you want. But I would be curious about what you write in the comments. What your idea of spirituality is, you know, is it a philosophy? Is it a practice? Is it awareness? Is it consciousness? Do you agree that yeah, we can decide to close off from it if we want to, you know, out of fear some people do?

Let’s say when you’re a child, and you’re scared of the dark at night, and the monster in the closet, that kind of thing, the monster under the bed, you know, there’s still adults that won’t sleep with because I’ve had this experience myself where as an adult, I wouldn’t sleep with my hand overhanging over the edge of the bed. I mean, that just seems like such a silly fear to have. But there’s still some element to something being under the bed. I mean, the stuff of scary movies, right?

Fear is in the mind

I don’t know why it’s almost like as a human, we have to, if we’re not scared of things where we don’t have fear, then we go about doing things to create it. And so whether that’s an action of the mind so that there’s always the yin and yang there’s always the push-pull. There’s always contrast in our mind to keep the brain working and alive. I don’t know. But it wouldn’t surprise me because it seems like a lot of times we make up unfounded fears, just to keep ourselves on our toes, and to keep our senses or to keep ourselves challenged.

Spirituality

I’ll come back around to Spirituality. When we are with a group of people agree with, ah! What a feeling! We agree that spirituality is more than religion. It transcends religion. You don’t need religion as an organization of thought, or structure or ritual, ritualistic practices, certain dates on the calendar, things like that, which puts structure around spirituality. But spirituality in and of itself is just like the act of breathing. It’s just there. It’s always there. In hours of meditation I learned that spirit was all there was at the beginning of time at the beginning of creation. It is said if you have a void and then you have something created within the void, I mean, the void by definition is void. So how can matter exist in it? Just popping into existence in a void doesn’t happen scientifically anyway, so they say well, it was the spirit, spirit input, a spirit entered the void.

Spirit put the first matter into that space, which is the dot. You know, there was the one, and the one split and became two, and then the two forms and there were three. It’s like the first cell. When the first cell split and then create from the two, they create the third and so on.

Yeah, like I said, I can have spiral thoughts about spirituality because I see it as internal breathing in, so I’m internalizing spirit. I am spirit. And then I am externalizing spirit, by my growth, by my awareness of witnessing my growth and also being committed to a series of practices that exemplify or that display. My spirituality might be putting my hands in prayer position, lighting a candle, saying a prayer, singing a praise song. Performing an act of kindness, random act of kindness, or giving, donating something, tithing. You know, all those are outward gestures of the inner spiritual belief system and the inner spirituality. I mean, I can have a belief system all day long, but if I don’t believe in my belief system, and I don’t act from it, then I’m not you know, portraying or displaying my spirituality, right? So my spirituality might be completely different than what my religion is, or, you know, the tactics that one says that I’m supposed to use to be quote-unquote, “be good,” whatever the religion is, you know, a good Catholic, a good Christian, Muslim a good Buddhist whatever, right?

In closing

So I thought I’d share this tonight with you and get some feedback from you and see what your thoughts are about it and open this can of worms I know that I’ve written a lot about omniscience before about God about different religions that I do or don’t agree with. So spirituality is much more free-flowing. Yes, we shall say free flowing and just like the breath, there’s an ebb and a flow to it. And you can observe it or you can choose to run from it and hide from it. if it’s something that you fear. Just like the sun, it’s always there. we just may have our back turned toward it. And as the Earth vows to the sun eastward, I bow to the east, every morning and give thanks for the sun for you and our connectedness.

And with that, I will close. Much love, many blessings, and always Peace.
