Here’s the two-hundred-twentieth new music post for 2024, as I consistently press out an original song to educate, enlighten, or enjoy. This one helped me center and ground after someone questioned my Spirituality this morning (she didn’t like how I’d offered a tiny correction to a post she’d made on LinkedIn). Oh well!
I apologized for not messaging the lady on LinkedIn (I didn’t think she’d see any message I might have sent because we’re not ‘connected’ on that platform). Perhaps I could have tried that, but I was in a hurry to offer my recommendation. Plus, I am all about educating the masses, so I tend to share my advice publicly. She didn’t accept my apology. She had to write again and tell me she was surprised I’d correct her publicly because I’m spiritual (per my profile–she doesn’t know me). I guess she has a lot more to learn than spelling!
I’m always learning too. And as I’ve also said many times, “We each learn at differing rates of speed.” So, I revisited my helpful comment and deleted it. One of the things I most believe in is always (in ALL ways) remaining open to love. I’ve had plenty of reasons to close my heart to love over the course of my life, but I’ve always kept an open mind and heart. Inherently I’ve always known that God or the Universe would bring whoever was meant for me into my life, if I remained open. Oddly enough, that’s why the first chapter I ever wrote for a book was about being “open to receive.” Being open to receive is still a deeply-rooted, ingrained belief in my mind.
Boundaries are helpful sometimes, but boundaries bind us and close us from myriad blessings and life experiences that if we allow them, will eventually grow and align us with our soul. This is why Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Everything.

I’ve been working with balancing my chakras since 2012 when I worked with Dr. Alison J. Kay. It’s become so second nature to me that I don’t think of it in discrete ways anymore.
