A way to shift into Gratitude

We all get down or low at times. Feel discouraged. Irritated. Anxious. So, here’s a way we can shift our thoughts and emotions to feel better and improve our mental outlook. I love learning new tips and tricks like this!

During my Reiki training I learned of this beautiful exercise:

  • Get a few sheets of lined paper and a pen/pencil
  • Number the rows on lined paper from 1 to 100
  • Begin on line 1 and write down everything you can think of that you’re grateful for without stopping
  • If you stop for more than 10 seconds, start over.

The following are the four sheets of paper from my first attempt. I did not stop in between and my hand was tired at the end so my writing may not be all that legible. After completing, I immediately noticed a shift in my mental outlook to the positive. I felt I could have written more. I wrote this the night before Thanksgiving 2022:

The following are the four sheets of paper from my second attempt on November 26, 2022. I did not stop in between and my hand was tired at the end. However, I immediately felt very accomplished and with an eagerness to try again in a few days, making a mental note to do this exercise when I felt irritated or anxious so I could note any change in those feelings.

Have you tried this exercise yet? Let me know in the comments below. Stay tuned for my next attempt!

Finally! My book is done!

Since I met Patricia McGivern and had a one-on-one hypnotherapy session with her on my birthday in 2016, I have been keeping notes about observations in nature, dreams, visions, and surreal experiences (nighttime visitations) from my mom and dad since they have crossed over to the Other Side of The Veil, transitioned to the Grand Beyond, or had their “Celebration Day.”

My new book draws from these experiences. I named the book, Blues Eyes, a metaphysical novel because it’s centered around things my one day old sister, Christina has shown me.

Book cover: Blue Eyes: A metaphysical novel

I’ll write more and put out some videos soon about what the writing process has been like, but for now, I want to highlight some important lessons and concepts:

Note from March 18th, 2016

“And birth is only the beginning. It is overwhelming sometimes to ponder how courageous and brave it is of each soul to agree to this carnal ride.

Oh, how bumpy and bizarre this ride! How curious this journey of becoming human. How mysterious and magical to be in a living, changing, growing, wonderful body!

As an adult, we think we’re big enough, strong, and tough enough to survive, but we know the body and mind are fragile too.

Imagine when we are in the womb, how fragile, delicate, and vulnerable we are. Oh, how indescribable it must be!

So, let us all pray and meditate daily about how grateful we are to have been born–to be here!

We are able to live, move, and have our being, while not every soul who desires and strives to be here, makes it.

And lets be kind to our bodies, our children, and each other. For we are all blessed to be here, and IN Joy relish the time we have on this magnificent planet.

Note from March 18th, 2021

An Aha moment! While reading the preceding paragraphs, held within about 500 writing “Notes” in my iPhone, I realized (seeing with REAL EYES), that I’d written that 3 years to the day BEFORE the DATE dad had set with me to visit each other—due to me always being “busy, busy, busy” (dad’s words).

Overarching Takeaways

Sitting in this “complete and fulfilling state of GRATITUDE and GRACE” I Am humbled.

When anything disturbs me (including myself), when my expectations aren’t met, I will choose to let it go as best I can to Limitless Omniscience God, and forgive myself and others as we can never see the whole picture, or know the whole story—much less control anything.

Cherish nothing else except each moment of Presence.

Know that you yourself are essential to this world. Understand both the blessing and the burden of that. You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this world.

In a Sacred Hoop of Life, there is no beginning and no ending. To everything, turn, turn, turn. There is a reason.

Each of us is important and have a mission. Much love and multitudinous blessings to each of you in ALL ways. ❤️🦋🌀〰️

Continued… Everything Resolves to Gratitude

Everything Resolves to Gratitude (Again)

After my dad’s passing, transition to the Grand Beyond, or his “Celebration Day” (March 2019), I continue to get little “winks” from him that “All is okay” on the other side of The Veil. And that makes me smile.

And since my mom’s crossing over beyond The Veil, I’ve had visitations from her! Thus, “I Know,” have become words I say often when referring to life on the Other Side.

Previous post: https://sheilamurrey.net/2021/05/10/everything-resolves-to-gratitude/

Everything Resolves to Gratitude

I love teaching large and complex topics: like we’re part of God, or different leaves on a tree. And when I want to observe MORE, I take my shoes off (as I did when we laid my parents to rest recently in my home state: https://youtube.com/shorts/fmmrTPI-SC4?feature=share

When I hugged the boxes that held each of my parents’ remains, I tried to say, “I love you eternally,” but my voice was stunted. I couldn’t eek out the words! But I knew, they knew, and that was ALL that mattered. My intention reverberated throughout space and time in that single MOMENT.

We are all one with God

Now, and for some time, I’ve felt we are “fractals of Omniscience” and I have often spoke about that concept. But when I hear people say, “We Are All One” it really magnifies that point.

I soulfully love the practice of imagining the fractal though, as it points out that “as above, so below” insofar as we are created in the same fashion as our Creator, and we beget, in the same design. A fractal is defined as:

Definition of fractal: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fractal

Everything Everywhere

Check out the movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and you may begin to see what I’m referring to when I say, we’re a part of Everything happening all at the same time. We’re limitless.

The ocean are drops of water, all over the planet–even underneath the earth’s crust.

A fractal of Omniscience

As a fractal of Omniscience, designed into Spirit, Soul, Mind (the Infinite and Unified Field), and Body (a sort of earth suit or meat suit–that’s made up on 70-100 TRILLION cells), you really can speak to anything that’s going on in your body and recreate it! Your body is always listening to YOU!

The ocean is made up of millions of drops of water. Each drop of water contains the ocean within it.

If our physical senses had a different frequency range, we would SEE the infinite vibrations (energies and frequencies) and whir of interconnected fractals. I love sitting in wonderment of what different species see and hear… as some see much better at night than we do, and dogs hear and smell so much more than us too!

Observing your WORDS can lead to Awareness

Record yourself freely speaking for a few minutes and then watch it. What do you repeat often? There’s power in analyzing the words and phrases you say repeatedly.

I love focusing on the OM (as found in OMniscient, OMnipresence, and OMnipotent attributes of Source Creator God). OM is hidden in many everyday words like cOMe, hOMe, sOMe, wOMan, and tOMb.

What words do you repeat often? What are your “go to” phrases to encourage yourself and others?

Many blessings to you in ALL ways. ❤️🦋🌀🎼〰️🙏☯️🌅💦🌱🌳🌴🌲

A study in consciousness: The gnat

While watching (well, more listening) and contemplating the very recent sad, senseless, and tragic murder of my cousin, I tuned into this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUscmv4YqMU

In the video it is suggested to see if we can observe where a thought begins and ends, and the space before and after the thought–where it begins and ends.

Thus, I have been observing the thoughts and messages coming INTO me:

  • Contemplating a recent tragic event (jumble of thoughts)
  • Sitting here, as I breathe and focus on my breath, I notice
  • I can forgive
  • So, it’s a Choice if I don’t (forgive)
  • I can cry
  • That too, is a Choice
  • Ugh, there’s a gnat
  • This gnat is bothersome
  • I can swat the gnat away
  • I can let it go on its way (it may not stay in my face for long anyway)
  • I can Choose to do nothing
  • I can accept the thoughts that come and go
  • I can accept the Energy that moves through me, stimulated (or caused) by my thoughts
  • Accepting that Energy is what causes my emotions (Energy in motion)
  • I Choose better feelings thoughts
  • I welcome better feelings thoughts
  • More than just “looking for the silver linings”
  • I can find the lessons in the experience
  • By observing the lessons learned, I feel some Gratitude
  • I can simply take one step at a time
  • I will be gentle with myself
  • By being gentle with myself, I can be gentle and kind to others
  • I don’t have to use the “bad” or negative experience (no matter how tragic it is) as justification for treating anyone else negatively (huge Aha for me!)
  • I can let the gnat live
  • I no longer see the gnat
  • I am grateful
Found the gnat later

Otter: Gratitude rant

Questioning

How do I stay in gratitude?

How I stay in gratitude every day since embarking on the citrus diet where I’ve been eating a grapefruit and oranges tangelos tangerines every day for 30 days.

Now, I’m beyond the 30 day period.

I’ve noticed that while I peel the grapefruit and I peel the orange by scoring them and then hand peeling them over the trashcan, I remembered that my dad is the one that taught me how to peel an orange. And the memory of that brings me to a place of gratitude.

Also, when I wash the knife that I scored the orange with when I wash out my bowl, the one particular stoneware bowl that I tend to use every day multiple times a day that’s the rewashing before each serving of food or each preparation to serve the bowl of food. I have to wash it and I do this over the sink. I wash it by hand and as I’m washing I’m meditating I’m bringing my my mind to a neutral point and breathing and then a thought will drop in. And typically, at least today, it was the thought of my mom, when she would wash dishes. She would talk she would talk to herself and she did this for many years.

In fact, most of my life I remember my mother standing at the kitchen sink, washing dishes and talking to herself sometimes it was imperceptible, the volume of her speech was so low. Dad and I used to joke and poke fun at her (for which I am soooo sorry about now), and she would kind of make a gesture. I can only describe her gesture as as a mixture of blowing off what we would say and frustration that we didn’t understand her. She did tell me in later years that she would was praying or talking with those that had gone before. I didn’t ever really connect that mom may have been talking to spirits, but I did sense that she was putting her doubts or worries emotions out there for God or the angels or whomever was listening.

Certainly, dad and I were not listening to mom’s murmurings. And now, where gratitude comes in from that thought is that (crying) mom had the words then… she was able to articulate and communicate her thoughts and feelings and ideas! Ugh! Because (whether you know this or not), later in mom’s life, she lost her ability to speak, or say much anyway. Mom lost the ability to formulate the words and move her mouth in such a way to be able to make words would come out.

Mom would try to speak. So, she had some mind left. And I watched this. I watched my mother decline and her vocal ability deteriorate over the last two to three years of her life. And in particular the last visit with her before she passed. But I will never know how much of mom’s mind was still alive and functioning, or how much wasn’t.

The few months before mom crossed over she was down to only having the use of about 10 words. Mom would use the same 10 words over and over and over to describe a variety of things. She would point to things and use the word thing or baby and that was it. Or baby was the name (noun) for everything. But mom remembered the words beautiful, wonderful and such, as her descriptions or descriptors (adjectives). I had always offered that instead of worrying, mom could think on all the lovely, beautiful, and wonderful things. And I believe what thoughts she had were on those kinds of things.

Thus, when I had these thoughts while washing dishes I became very grateful. Yes, Gratitude enveloped me. I am sooo grateful to have had the mom I had. The mother who loved and cared for me all the days of my life while she lived.

I am so grateful for all the things my parents taught me.

Do you want to live in that place of gratitude every day?

Gratitude on my mind

It’s not an official yoga asana (posture), but Gratitude is a part of each posture I perform when I do my Integrated Spiral™ Gratitude F-L-O-W (a combination of movements based on Qigong, Yoga, and Energy Medicine). As well, I am always grateful I can get into and hold the poses of the day in whatever manner I can.

My daily practice reminds me, that whether I’m on or off the mat, I intend to keep my awareness on Gratitude. And actually breathe and live IN Gratitude. Always. In ALL ways.

I’m always grateful for my breath, especially after naturally releasing asthma in 2005 and being able to kick 5 prescription medicines to the curb forever! (Details in my book, Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life!)

I also often consider how grateful I am that my mind and body work in unison. And that my mind is improving with age (though my mom, aunt, and grandmother had Alzheimer’s disease), because I love a challenge (and gleefully learn)!

I care for my heart and other organs by consciously directing healing thoughts to them many times throughout the day. I am a conscious creator! ❤️🦋🌀〰️

Everything Resolves to Gratitude.

I believe we are each enveloped by Omniscience, divine Love. And we can embrace the wisdom of ALL the masters (I have learned from several now who have passed and continue with several like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, Nick Polizzi, plus the indispensable, Neale Donald Walsch), who are always near. Plus, my ancestors and relatives in the Grand Beyond and my Third Eye, who guide and support me psychically and spiritually every moment of my life. 💙🦋🌀〰️

Natural forces and Mother Gaia sustain my life and the lives of everyone. The least I can do is care for the Earth and be a good steward.

In particular, I am grateful for my continuing yoga practice with the teachings of Cheryl Chaffee. Connect with here: www.bodymindheartyoga.com

Cheryl’s an amazing, energetic and intuitive yoga master I had the pleasure of working with on Cindy Bartz’s yoga cruise (pre-lockdowns—January 2020).

I am filled with limitless GRATITUDE!

If you ever feel that you’ve messed up, it’s okay. Because in the end, Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Yes, it really does. ❤️😉

Namaste. OM

The house that Sheila built

House of lives

The house that Sheila built is not a house in the physical sense, but a house of Connected Persons. Persons who are Connected to me spiritually and soulfully. These are people who are of the utmost importance to me. The VIPs of my life!

Perhaps this is a sort of moral inventory I am making here, but as a store has inventory, my “house” is made up of all the dear people I have had the immense pleasure to know.

As an only child, I am humbled and surprised at the number of incredible people who have and continue to walk the road of life with me. Hmm, what a thought!

Husband

I’ve heard it said that as we age, friendship with our spouse, or significant other, is more important than physical attraction (or sex). I agree.

If you are lucky enough to meet and marry your soulmate, then there’s that. And it’s really beautiful if you can bring as much happiness to this person as you do for yourself.

My husband, Richard, is truly my soulmate and “love of my life.” ❤️🙏😘

My first two marriages ended badly, and while I learned life lessons from both relationships, I regret the hurt and pain. I can’t turn back time. And for my part, and yes, each person owns some of the responsibility of failing in those situations (no one is really better than another when it comes right down to it), but for some, that takes years to see. Thus, I am sorry. I thought I did my best, but we can’t see what we can’t SEE.

Children and grandchildren

It takes children to make grandchildren. Thus, it seems I should speak of my own children next, but no. Reason being, I wasn’t as mindful or “aware” of the profound soul Connection I had to my children when they were young.

So, let me tell you about the deep soul Connection I have with my eldest granddaughter, Jennifer Ann. My relationship with her best represents how nuanced and intricately interlaced ALL of our Connections are (though for the most part, unacknowledged).

My story with Jennifer goes back 10 years…

I was working in Boca Raton, Florida. I still remember taking my cell phone outside and walking up and down the hall while breathing with my daughter while she was in labor with Jennifer. I missed Jennifer’s actual birth, but treasure my memories of helping my daughter with her childbirth breathwork (eventually, Jennifer had to be born via C-section).

Anyway, as soon as I could, I took a few days off and flew to Connecticut, so I could comfort my daughter and meet my new granddaughter. Oh, she was an indescribable JOY to hold!

Throughout my visit, I observed (and felt) the spiritual Connection between Jennifer and myself. I explained the experience in my book as follows:

When I held Jennifer, I felt an immense resonance – truly representative of “Unconditional Love and LIMITLESS Source Energy.”

I spoke these words to Jennifer, “I know who you are. You are pure positive Source Energy.” At the precise moment the word “energy” left my lips, Jennifer whipped her head around – so much so that it surprised me – and looked me straight in the eye! The look she gave me as our eyes met seemed to ask, “How did you know”?

Murrey, Sheila. “Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life!” Apple Books.

Years later, when my twin granddaughters were born, I flew to New Hampshire, but this trip north challenged me to drive in the snow and ice over an hour from the airport to the hospital. I’d do it all over again though, as to stay in the hospital with my daughter and her girls the first 3 days of their lives was a priceless experience!

While holding my twin granddaughters those first days, I felt the nearly indescribable love and soul Connection with each of them that I’d felt (and continue to feel), with Jennifer.

At the end of one of my visits, I had instinctively swirled my fingers towards both girls in an energetic spiral manner, and both Jaclyn and Jewel had loved it. (Later I realized my dad had done this, so my spinning my index finger in circles wasn’t “instinct,” it was learned and fixed in my subconscious!)

On a subsequent visit, one of the twins, Jewel, had began twisting and twirling a lock of her hair. At that moment, however subconsciously, I believe Integrated Spiral was birthed.

I didn’t acknowledge or realize my previous spiral energy actions had made any influence on the girls until Jewel began twirling her hair.

I thought about the times when my two children were babies and my dad had swirled his finger towards their bellies and said, “bory bory” (we still don’t know why or what it means), and they would gleefully coo! Children are sooo easily mesmerized!

Coming back around full circle to my children, I love my daughter and son dearly. I cannot imagine who I’d be, or even if I would still be alive at this point, had they not come into my life when they did. I grew up in multitudinous ways with them. ❤️

Extended family

We don’t pick these folks, but love them or not, they can teach you invaluable life lessons if you are open to receive. So, judge not.

We all seem to switch places as the years go on, and you really don’t know who will come through for you when you least expect it and need them most.

Mentors

I’ve written a previous blog (here), some years ago about the exquisite mentors I have had the privilege to know, work for, and befriend. I do not believe I could have progressed in my life and career without their brilliant advice, support, and friendship.

Everyone should have a mentor and in turn, mentor someone. It is a rich relationship, that reaps lifelong benefits, well beyond money. A mentor can bring balance and stability, by bringing new awareness and offering you different perspectives.

Often the old saying is true, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

Friends

When I was young, I always befriended those who were not immediately or easily acknowledged, accepted or liked by others.

I have always stood up for the underdog. And I have been bullied for it.

When the first black family moved to our town, I befriended the children. They were sooo friendly and we got along famously! I didn’t see color or ever think to treat anyone any differently because of their skin tone, or any different feature, but other kids did and I was curious as to why that was the case.

I went home and mentioned to my folks how much I enjoyed my new friends company (and how not many others seemed to) and my mom was fine with me inviting them over. But my dad cautioned me saying, “you can be friends, but nothing more.” Later, my mom clarified that dad would never want me to date anyone of a different race or nationality.

It was the first I knew of racism, and it really perplexed and bewildered me! I felt the emotional pain of conflicting thoughts.

Thankfully, dad changed (or softened) many of his views before he left this earth, but the memory of that emotional hurt still lingers. My mom was much more open to discussing race with me because of our Cherokee Native American ancestry. (I am of mixed ethnicity.)

Though my complexion is light, I consider ALL my brothers and sisters. It is also why I wrote this:

“Dancing with the Energy,

In the pinpoint center of the spiral,

She came alone with no siblings.

But as she unwound herself, the spiral emerged.

Then, she harmonized with many, and THEY became her siblings.” ❤️🦋🌀

To this day, I hold my true friends near and dear to my heart. I love that my circle of friends include beautiful hearts and souls of every race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, etc.

Sheila’s poem, “Dancing with the Energy” – screen capture from her Clubhouse bio.

I choose friends based on their heart, and the soul Connection I feel when I am with them (even if only by voice).

Yes, interestingly, some of my dearest friends I haven’t even met in person. We’ve only met by phone on Clubhouse or on Zoom. Soul Connections do not rely on the physical. Isn’t that intriguing?

Colleagues

After having spent 30 plus years in Information Technology, I have gotten to know and spent many days, weeks, months, and years working with many excellent colleagues. And I do mean, incredible people. I am thrilled to have formed lasting friendships with many.

Several former colleagues continue to Connect with me (even if initiated for a reference—but always to chat about a bit more than superficial things). I am always happy to hear from them. Giving out professional references is one way I can “give back” in honor of the help and advice my mentors always graciously gave me.

In particular, I want to thank the many “scary smart” folks I had the pleasure of getting to know, and working with at:

  • The Veterans Administration on the VETSNET team (4 years, 4 months) of employees and contractors from Liberty, Booz Allen Hamilton, Halfaker, and others, while employed by Advanced Systems Design (ASD).
  • Emerson Process Management (3 years)
  • Jabil Circuit
  • AT&T Mobility
  • Walt Disney World, Parks & Resorts Operations
  • Campus Management
  • Florida Virtual School
  • US Air Force Space Wing (2)
  • NASA, Space Gateway Support, and InDyne Inc. at Kennedy Space Center (5)
  • Lone Star College
  • OnSource Consulting, Inc.
  • Ellucian (4)
  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (10)

Acquaintances

Smile. Be nice or at least kind to everyone you meet. You really never know when or where people will pop back into your life.

I have had some people show back up in my life (from seemingly unimportant encounters), that have utterly astonished me.

Some individuals have shown up again in my life “out of the blue” providing me evidence that metaphysical or supernatural powers are indeed at work—often. There’s simply been too many bizarre and uncanny encounters occur (incredibly timed) for me to simply chalk these kinds of experiences up as “coincidences.”

In closing

I believe (because I’ve witnessed it), that everyone moves along at differing rates of speed. And thinking that thought helps me when I don’t understand another’s perspective. As well, my mantra of Everything Resolves to Gratitude helps me a lot too!

I choose to hang with uplifting souls to help mySelf! It simply FEELS great! ❤️🦋🌀〰️

The more things change, the more they seem to circle back (and stay the same).

So, I would like to offer the main intention I bring into each relationship, and yes, at the start of each day and in any difficult moment:

To offer a way to open your mind to receive the Connected nature of it ALL.

Everything Resolves to Gratitude

Everything Resolves to Gratitude

This philosophy or mantra came to me after my dad’s passing in March of 2019. I can’t tell you exactly how to come around to this thought, especially during times of anger, upset, or grief. But, I can tell you that’s what I received in a KNOWING kind of way.

Everything Resolves to Gratitude

I’ve said these words to people many times. And I’ve written them. I even created a t-shirt with these words on it! I get sideways head glances when I wear it grocery shopping, especially during these COVID times, yet few smile. Perhaps it’s too big of a concept. 🤷🏼 But, I love teaching large and complex topics: like we’re part of God, like different leaves on a tree.

We are all part of the one living garment of God.

I’ve been shown that WE are all part of the one living garment of God. That is why there is no value in judging one another.

Years ago, I watched Russell Brand eloquently talk about how The Christ in confused people is calling out to be saved. He said he loved the elegant simplicity of the Dao (Lao Tzo), the charming voluptuousness of the Vedias, the passion of Catholisicm, and the potency of Islam. For me, The Chosen series about the life and times of Jesus the Christ, and his “‘chosen” disciples enhance the knowledge I have of Christianity and Mormonism.

Brand knows that, “We Are All One.” And Russell admonished us to not be confused by our own conflict or our own biological drives…to simply breathe… Take a moment to strengthen the awareness behind our fear, our desire. Being a recovering addict, he knows a thing or too about desires. He suggested that all of our lives change when we reach that Awareness and that this KNOWING transmits and connects… to each other and to something bigger than ourselves.

We all tend to define the world according to the indoctrination and programming we’ve received from the PUBLIC EDUCATION system. And I, along with many others, are now questioning the ideologies behind this “education.” This is why I love continuing education.

I have taken so many courses from thought leaders, Energy Medicine doctors, ministers, life coaches, founders of the Reflexology school in St. Petersburg, FL, raw vegan chefs, Reiki masters, and nurses (like Healing Touch, taken years ago at the cancer hospital in Orlando, FL) and the list goes on and on (see the list on my homepage if you’re very curious). And I live with a genius husband.

Yet, nature and my own body continue to be my most thorough teachers.

You are a fractal of Omniscience

For years I have told you that you are a fractal of Omniscience. Now, I can tell you that your Ego, your individual personality, gifts, and skills is a temporary expression of a much larger YOU – comprised of Spirit, Soul, Mind (Infinite and Unified Field), and Body (that’s made up on 70-100 TRILLION cells, most of which, are not human–they are viruses, bacteria, fungi, and more!

If we had different eyes, ears, skin, indeed more complex senses, we would SEE the infinite vibrations (energies and frequencies) bleeding, leaking, blending, and glowing in a vast and ever-expanding, chaos of tangles in some constant, whir of interconnected fractals. And that what you currently have faith in, is just the structure you’ve been taught to follow. We may never have the knowledge of who and what created ALL (including us), but we don’t really need to if we ACT upon the guidance we’ve received and exercise our FAITH–yes, LIVING what we believe.

How you might “get there”

I deeply appreciate the many blessings in my life, especially:

  • exciting work that I am well paid for
  • beautiful granddaughters (and love of my whole family)
  • increased awareness of how We really Are All Connected everyday, all the time
  • that I Am really so fully saved – feeling the ever increasing awareness of what that actually means!
  • this tactic of writing an “A list idea – of 5 things I appreciate” list!

And another suggestion:

Om karuna swaha

This is a daily meditation / chant for the God of compassion.

Wayne Dyer said, this something (power or force) that grows our fingernails – we cannot stop. And that is true, even after the death of our body, our fingernails keep growing.

My thought: everything in the universe vibrates. I tweeted it. Is it documented in Physics? Yes! Read Niels Bohr.

Having trouble loving someone? Seeing them as God sees them?
Remember what Jerry once told Esther, when Esther had gotten mad at him. Pretend she is their granddaughter. Because Esther could never not love their grandchild – no matter how much of a mess she made, etc. Her love is unconditional for her!

Keys

I am going through some Energy shift since facilitating a TWO hour call in my club: Integrated Spiral this past Saturday night. I spent all day yesterday watching videos of spiritual masters (that had been shared with me), and I boiled my philosophy down even further.

To be IN SPIRIT is to be OUT of one’s mind. All the intellect in the world is no good if we are not LIVING our beliefs. Compassion and Love are keys—for ourselves and others. Yes, ALL others without judgment.
Breathe. 💨
Water. Even a splash will work.❤️💦 Earth. Hands to floor. Bare feet in sand. Garden.

3 keys: Breathe. Water. Earth.

And then, or all throughout those actions: Observe.

Live while you’re living, as I wrote in this song: https://www.n1m.com/richardmurrey/song/1009302-first-friends

I was introduced to Japji (not one but many videos on YouTube), and I am swimming in the enormous Energy of this.

Would you attend a 15 minute room in Clubhouse called, Breathing in Spirit? It will be a “check-in” kind of experience. Consistent practice I find, and this was reiterated to me Saturday night, is key. Because when we are upset for any reason, our breath can balance us (our emotions and body chemistry).

Awareness hidden in your WORDS

OM is hidden in many everyday words like cOMe, hOMe, sOMe, wOMan, and tOMb.
And bOMb would be using this power as an opposing force.Do you really want to go there?

Why don’t we choose the positive path?

Choose to feel aWEsOMe!
OM is also found in OMniscient, OMnipresence, and Omnipotent. All the attributes of God.

Choose LOVE

Looking through the lens of Love can be easy or difficult, depending upon how you’ve been conditioned to this point in your life. Sometimes, simply being aware and asking yourSelf when issues arise, “Am I feeling restricted or open to this new information?” and sitting with the answer that comes to you. The answer can show you if you are looking at the issue, conversation, person, or such through the eyes of Love, or not.

Many blessings to you in ALL ways. ❤️🦋🌀🎼〰️🙏☯️🌅💦🌱🌳🌴🌲

Speakers and Presenters: Grand Tips!

Grand tips for Speakers and Presenters

I have been speaking (and singing) in front of (and for) large groups ever since I can remember: in church settings, elementary school (putting on plays), college, social clubs, flea markets (selling products), networking events, yoga and music festivals (as emcee), and health fairs. I am no stranger to the stage. But, we can all refine and polish our public speaking and presentation skills, I am no exception.

I read an article today that prompted me to make a list of my tips, based on my experiences:

Before you speak

  • Know your subject well, yes do your research
  • Be able to defend or argue your story from multiple perspectives
  • Write down your speech and remove any filler words or phrases
  • Practice your speech in front of a mirror
  • When tempted to use, “you know,” “uhm,” or such just BREATHE (this space is necessary to slow your speaking rate down, as well as give the audience time to rest, make notes, and such)
  • Practice your speech in front of one or two people and ask for their feedback on how to improve it
Grand tips for speakers and presenters

Day of your speech

  • Meditate and expand your Energy out to ALL
  • Greet attendees or meet as many people at the event as possible, shake hands, fist bump, kiss babies, etc. (okay, maybe not kiss babies post-COVID times, but you get the idea)
  • Ease any jitters or “butterflies” using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ), or such (even humming to yourself works)
  • Once on stage, tune into your heart center and share your story from “that place”—from your soul
  • Look at some audience members from different sections of the room
  • Make eye contact with friendly “light” faces
  • Provide VALUE— never tell a story that doesn’t make a point (Thank you, Les Brown)
  • Involve your audience, ask “Have you ever…” or “Has this ever happened to you?”
  • Smile and laugh genuinely, when it fits
  • If you ever feel nervous, off track, forget what’s next, or self conscious, be quiet for a moment and breathe, focus and speak from your soul, not your ego
  • Add color and depth to your personal stories, but don’t drone on, complain, or get caught up in negativity
  • People want to hear what you learned and how you grew from overcoming adversity
  • Don’t assume you know your audience—now, on Clubhouse, you probably won’t know them at all, and people are quite multifaceted these days
  • At the end of your lecture, bow and authentically with humility thank your audience for hearing you—they gave YOU moments of their lives
