So, just what IS a metaphysical experience?

A dear friend of mine (and fellow blogger) who now lives in Thailand has been writing a series of blog articles that I want to draw attention to… you might also know she’s been my sketch teacher and weight loss/exercise motivator for the last couple of years as well. Linda Lewis.

As I began to write a reply on her most recent post, https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/08/06/the-gift-no-one-cares-part-3/ the following began to spill out from me:

As you know, I LOVE that Brian found a way to bridge Meditation and Thankfulness in this “5 minutes of Gratitude” type of practice. It’s really biblical too, when one thinks about it, as we’re admonished over and over again “not to worry” and to “trust in God.” So, this practice of Gratitude not only fits the Buddhist philosophy and spiritual take on things, but also the biblical perspective. I love it and want to promote it as well.

I had a statement (not a mental image) drop in during a meditation I was doing years ago and it was that “Everything Resolves to Gratitude.” Of course, THAT is harder to understand and “reach” as a place of knowing than it is said.

I get big topics like that when I meditate, which is why I don’t meditate daily anymore. Until the world is ready for me, well, hehe, a small fraction may only ever be, I will hold back. But I’m probably wrong and just tired after getting this last book out that still so few want.
As for the “woo-woo” stuff, you know I love it and LIVE for the woo! I am soooo glad you got that mental image “drop in” of Harvey and Brian. The peace and comfort it gave you then, the tears were cleansing, is one that I do not believe will ever leave you. And that my dear friend WAS a metaphysical experience. Yay WOO!

I was pleasantly surprised when after the 2 hour mark, https://youtu.be/ur_-7JONZlY?si=r-2mEVwO0o0lWK1G Tim Robbins shared a metaphysical experience of his with Joe Rogan and Joe didn’t try to debunk it! I won’t spoil it, but it’s REALLY good!!! I think it starts about 2.06:00 or 2.07:00; I did make a comment on the video and tried to mark it.

Proving the WOO

One of the readers of my latest book, We Are All Connected: The How and The Why, has told me and a Unity group he hosts that my book offers a thousand ways or more to prove the WOO exists and connects us all. It was a pretty big tell and my jaw actually dropped open when he proclaimed it. Thanks Andy. I believe very soon the connection between heaven and earth will make the WOO visible and quite undeniable to ALL. Til then, anyone who is interested can read my book.

Integrating the Spirals

I’m encouraging those “over 60” to open to lifelong learning (observe and gently question their pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’), become more aware of their thoughts and emotions, consistently move their bodies (too many are stuck in their heads and physically unhealthy), become strong, and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, body. And to question EVERYTHING!

April 8th – It’s Time

It’s April 8th, 2024; Here’s an original country rock song with a story about time that seems to be right on time today, with the solar eclipse! Ha! I love it when things like this happen; when the synchronicities align.

Brand new start

Here’s the ninety-ninth new music post for 2024, as I consistently offer up one of our original songs, and this time it’s a country fusion sound. If you’re tired of living in isolation and are ready for joy and celebration, you’ll enjoy this song. It’s time to mend a broken heart, fall in love, and make a brand new start.

Smile at or offer assistance to a stranger. Perform a random act of kindness. And then feel into your body to sense how you FEEL. We can all soar in ’24!

Here’s the ninety-eighth new music post for 2024, as I consistently present one of our original songs to the masses. Make a difference when you can. It all starts within you! Change happens when you love. Reach down deep and feel for how you can improve things for yourself and others.

My beloved Richard (husband and artist extraordinaire), put his face on each of these priests. He can see himself in so many others. I love this since I teach and share about ‘mirroring’ to increase our perspective to judge others less and live with more grace and ease (to feel better more often).

I feel better when I give

I take note of how I feel when I give someone something or do some small act of kindness. I don’t know if I’ve been actively observing my feelings my whole life, maybe. But for sure since I started meditating about ten years ago, I consciously aim to feel better. And I always feel better when I give.

As you prepare for the solar eclipse tomorrow take some time to pray, meditate, fast, or simply don’t do something you’d planned. Help a stranger. Perform a random act of kindness. And then make a conscious effort to scan your body to see how you FEEL. We can all soar in ’24 and improve our attitude to attain a higher altitude. Be brave! Fly!

April 6th – We agree

It’s April 6th, 2024; Here’s an original swingin’ country duet song for you, with lively piano to bring a smile. I guess we agree on important stuff. Ha! I love the conversation between the two singing this duet. Don’t you? Their voices blend spectacularly well. This pop tune lifts my spirit!

Here’s the ninety-seventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently share some observations on life and relationships via an original song from my songwriting husband. Here’s our advice:

My adoring King Richard (husband and artist extraordinaire), drew this couple in the video. He does all the artwork for his YouTube video thumbnails and slides. And he used to draw a lot of clip art back in the day too! Ha!

Agreeing feels good

Have you ever noticed that even small disagreements can be smoothed over simply by acknowledging your love for each other or the fact that you agree on most things? Just like birds of a feather flock together! It sure feels better to me when we agree than when we disagree. I love to be “in my element” with those who agree (with me) on important things. But I am always open to learning from those I disagree with. I use those opportunities to acknowledge my Shadow Side and employ techniques to clear it. Or I take the time to release any Karma I may be carrying over from anyone, any previous time, or place.

My meme: If we made a heart-based decision, and then later question the outcome, (could we have made a better choice–because it didn’t turn out “good.”)? 1) Were we truly aligned, heart & soul when we made the decision? 2) What is our judgment around the word “good”? Growth occurs in EVERY situation. Every cell in your body CELEBRATES any aligned choice you make! The mind thinks; the heart FEELS. –Sheila Murrey
