Don’t get close to the man in the mask
It’s hard to believe everything we’ve all experienced in the last four years was real. But yes, sad to say, most of us have lost loved ones, and sadly, most were kept secluded or at least six feet apart from each other–yet hugs are healing! Our connections to each other are real, whether we believe it or not. And humans need to be touched. We seek and yearn for Connection (the topic of my 5th and current book underway). No matter who becomes the President of the USA, let’s no longer take one masked man’s theory on how to handle any health crisis, okay? (Especially a man who claims he doesn’t remember what he said).

We watched the two latest Ghostbusters movies over the past two nights. It was so great to sit and watch these movies on our son-in-law’s big screen projector screen and laugh with my them. My daughter and son-in-law had seen Ghostbusters: Afterlife (but Richard and I hadn’t), and they’d ordered the later one, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, from Amazon and had been waiting two years to see it. Our son-in-law always makes sure we see prior shows and movies before watching any new releases. He’s super sweet that way (and he owns more DVDs than we do)! We all gasped and howled during the movies. It was a great time! What saddens me are all the years we lost due to the pandemic/plandemic and how similar the word ‘demic’ is to ‘demonic.’

Several months ago, my daughter and son-in-law turned us onto The Why Files—and not only have we watched every episode, but we look forward to each new episode each week (which we typically watch on Thursday or Friday night). We love it! It’s for high IQ or critical thinkers who care and like to have fun. Tin foil hats included! LOL
Near Death Experiences (NDEs) and Shared Death Experiences (SDEs) are near and dear to my heart after meeting Krista and Ainsley and hearing their NDE stories, and after working with Dr. Raymond Moody’s correspondence team last year—and getting to read and respond to many people who wrote their stories and sent them in to ask his opinion or advice.
Though the experiences that I shared in Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection were not NDEs, the one after my dad’s passing could be classified as an SDE. I’ll share the link to that specific story too, in case you are new to my blog.

When I first heard Eben’s story of the Afterlife, to say I was shocked and enthralled was to put it mildly–my reaction. I thought, now surely, people will believe there really IS an Afterlife!
But even while working for Dr. Raymond Moody last year, as a volunteer email correspondent, people still wrote in asking him if he thought there was a real Afterlife. Dr. Moody has often stated in interviews he believes there must be because so many have seen it during Near Death and Shared Death Experiences (NDEs and SDEs), but our human mind has such a difficult time accepting this (for some reason).
Me? I’m certainly a believer after all I’ve seen, during dreams, Afterlife visitations from my mother, and from what my less than one-day-old sister, Christina, showed me and I wrote about in the book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection (link at the end of this post). I feel the vibrancy of my experiences still. As if they occurred yesterday! The memory of my experiences of the Afterlife, or what I call, the Grand Beyond never fade. And for that, I am most humbly and profoundly grateful.
I’m sharing Eben’s post today because I just took a deep dive with Anita Moorjani on Saturday via a Zoom call with Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Shamani Jain, and Gregg Braden, which I will also write about this week. But when I saw Eben’s post in my email, I wanted to get this one out first, because I figured I could write this up more quickly (the other is taking a bit more time, though now, they’ll probably have taken the same amount of time–I’d thought I would simply post a link to his article, silly me).
–I took this Thanksgiving week off work to “work on/play” in Joy with my 5th book (title forthcoming but you can probably guess), which is in progress and I am on track to publish after the New Year. We’ll see! Haha!

My new book, Blue Eyes, has passed the Amazon review process and is now LIVE (available in paperback as of 11 pm ET last night)! It was incredibly exciting to receive the email notice just before midnight last night and ring in the new year knowing the work was complete! Ha!

The book had to be put on hold for a couple of months because of my husband’s stroke and all the new caregiver tasks and responsibilities of mine (plus I still work full-time too). Thus, I took a week off work—to get the book done—between Christmas and New Years.
Many synchronicities abound and show us God’s grace! We are humbly blessed at every turn, that my husband can walk unassisted (he’s getting a bit better every day), is talking better (clearer, but still with less volume than normal), able to do a little work on the computer (like designing the cover for the book), and re-learning guitar (on a new Spanish acoustic that has a neck that fits in his hand better)!
I’m so excited to release this book out into the world! This past week has really been a birthing labor process to be sure! I knew it might take me a few days, but I had no idea! I used Kindle Create to prepare both the Kindle version of the book and the paperback, and each has their own set of distinct requirements! I see why many authors pay someone else to do this process! Ha!
Every time my husband and I would get frustrated over making yet another change to correct something, I would breathe and remind him to breathe, and I would say aloud, “I am a Technical Writer so I can do this or can figure this out.” Haha! I guess that helped as we’re still here and with hair on our heads too! Didn’t pull it out. (Wink!)

Early this morning I saw my dad in my dream. (FYI my dad passed away / crossed over the the “Other Side” March 8th, 2019, and I wrote his eulogy here. The day after dad “died,” I had an early morning vision, and wrote about it here.)
Dad showed me (in this vision type dream of the afterlife) that there’s no time on the other side, and what this means is that they see us as one of those age progression photographs—we are ALL ages, all at once!
How dad sees me from the “Other Side.”
Dad says he sees me as I am now, when I was first married, had my children, and as I was at every year of my childhood! All at the same time… which for me, is mind blowing!
He showed me that is why our bodies still have stem cells and why, as we age, we desire to write a letter to our younger self! Also, it’s why we think we carry around our inner child within us our whole lives!
It was such a wondrous dream! It seemed to take no time for papa to download this information to me.
I wrote the details of the dream/vision all down immediately upon waking up, but later, while taking my shower, I also had a flash in my mind’s eye, that this is why artists paint in the cubism art style—they are attempting to show us how we live all aspects of ourselves (of our past selves) in this, Now.
I hope this has given you some things to think about, especially if you’ve ever wondered how (or if) you are seen by loved ones who have crossed over to the Grand Beyond.

After a loved one passes away, transitions to the Grand Beyond, and has their Continuation Day?
How long do we mourn? What else is there to do?
Well, I grieved, yes. But fairly soon after my daddy died, an awareness came upon me. And of course I had that vision, so that soothed my mind and calmed my emotions.

Good grief
How can grief be good? Who the hell came up with that old adage? Ugh!
I have cried and cried, but at some point I realized, I couldn’t change anything.
So, why all the tears? What good was that doing? Okay, I was processing my emotions and letting them out. That’s helpful perhaps. I was cleansing my body by the act of crying. But why was I crying?
Guilt
I can’t change anything in the past.
I can’t spend anymore time with my parents (in the physical), or talk with them anymore.
So, because of that, because there is no more time to sit with my mom or dad, I feel guilty for not visiting them more, for not listening to them more, and for not taking more of their wise advice. I feel guilty for a lot of things.
However, as I allow those feelings to flow over and through my mind and body, washing my heart center, I realize those are simply my thoughts (my perceptions) of situations that occurred in the past. Past hurts were previously discussed (in many cases, YEARS ago) and lovingly forgiven, so there’s no practical need for my mind to rethink on those times now. I have learned that regret is simply an action of the mind. I don’t know if anyone really understands why the mind does that, but I think most people’s minds go through those gyrations.
Eternal Gratitude
As I sit NOW in this time and space, I feel utter and thorough GRATITUDE for ALL. Ahh, the Eternal Gratitude!
My beautiful parents gave me sooo many priceless gifts! They created ME! They gave me life, breath, and were my most important teachers! And as much as I love, speak and write about them, no amount of words can begin to describe the immense gratitude I FEEL. Ahh!!
I am so glad that both of my parents knew I loved them. Oh, how glad I am that we always told each other, “I love you” and “hugs & kisses” each time we talked!
Learning
We learn through the mistakes, miscommunications, fault-finding, pain, and more. And we learn humility. We learn grace. We learn that we can’t take anything with us when we transition from this life. And how many of us think that day will never come. But, it will.
Time
We count it and think we can keep it. We say our watches are time keeping.
For some, our Continuation Day will come too soon. For nearly everyone, it will come unexpectedly.

In every moment, are we exposing our best selves to each other? Are we a shining light?

From stones to diamonds, pressure over time makes the difference. Do we buckle and cry under pressure, or grow stronger emotionally?
