High vibes and thankfulness
We so love the high vibes of our original song productions from Nashville, TN. Richard has tried a few other music studios but it’s hard to beat the two we’ve used most, Steven Cooper (who is now retired from music production), and Beaird Studios. We’re thankful everyday for them.
Yesterday, our 12 year old granddaughter, Jenn, and I took a 2.5 mile walk–the longest walk I’ve taken here yet, and longest I’ve walked in a few years (and yes, I felt it in my lower back after we got home, but even that didn’t hamper my feelings of thankfulness for getting to spend that time with her)! We had the best time! Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most. We didn’t spend any money, but walked and talked and checked out a variety of plants, trees, flowers, architecture, etc.
We walked over a foot bridge I was interested in and checked out a new playground at a park we used to go to when Jennifer was little. We searched for crystals in the dirt that the city had hauled in to remake the playground. Jenn found one that looked like a mix of agate, jasper, or possibly topaz. They had a couple of DIY games at the playground and we tried our hands at all of those. A couple were really engaging and fun!
We saw a really old colonial type house. We saw mushrooms near the trees at the park and a house for sale that had tall sunflowers growing! Oh, and I saw a picture of a Dr. that I have to check out and see what she’s a doctor of (I don’t know why she didn’t at least put a label somewhere on the sign like, DOM, Chiropractor, or such). Ha!

We’ve had to balance and center ourselves the last couple of days
We’ve had some unsettling news the last few days. Whenever free speech is challenged, and certain shocking things happen to people we follow, it unnerves us. Two things happened. Speaking of the bedroom
You don’t have to, but if you have any issues falling asleep or sleeping all night, I’ve got a few tips for you. Try going outside in the morning, sans eyeglasses, and looking at the sun within 90 minutes of sunrise. And put a salt lamp or red light in your bedroom and tape over any little blue lights from fans, air conditioners, radios, or such so you cut all the blue light–if possible wear blue blocker eyeglasses after sunset too, when watching television or looking at your phone, tablet, or computer. Spiral thought: Do you follow Dr. Sheri Tenpenny? I just read her monthly newsletter and she offers some grand health advice. She researches like almost no one else I know! She actually READS the research papers, journals, and guides, so she’s nearly impeachable in her process! I love watching her testify in front of legislators too! It’s almost like watching the true version of The Good Wife, when I see her in court. Love her! And what do you know, our new Integrative medical doctor here in New Hampshire went to the same University as her (when they were in pre med), and has followed her for years! Our new MD also follows Dr. Bruce Lipton and will meet him at a conference in Indiana this September! ALL things work for good it seems–yes, really!

Here’s the two-hundred-seventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently share one of our pro demo original songs each day this year. I recognize the chord progressions and melody from another song of Richard’s, much like we always recognize a James Horner theme song from the movies, Avatar, Enemy at the Gates, Project X, and probably several others–anyone else know the 4 step horn progression I’m talking about here? It’s iconic in theme music in our opinion. We can usually always find it in a James Horner score! Does reusing a progression or melody make us trust the composer more? It’s a way to develop and build on a signature sound isn’t it?
Do you trust me?
You don’t have to, but maybe it helps if you do–if you’re going to take a chance and buy something I’m putting in front of you. Of course, I believe the Biology of YOUR Belief is what matters most. I sooo agree with Dr. Bruce Lipton on that. And once you do believe in yourself, I feel most of your self imposed limitations will drop away!

I believe we can decide for ourselves as we grow and mature. And if we make mistakes, especially if we break manmade laws, we should be punished. Even if we’re not caught, we suffer guilt, and why do we feel that way? If we’re taught (or programmed) in one way or another, I think it’s human nature to sense guilt.
