A sign from above

A few years ago my friends daughter -suddenly and at a very young age passed away. Her name is Alex. The moment I found out of her passing I was …

A sign from above

My Spirituality

I’ll spiral back full circle on this and sum up my spirituality in a few minutes in this post, but first, I feel a little backstory is needed since defining one’s spirituality can be complex–at least I feel mine is. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio:

Background – My religious upbringing

I was raised in the Christian faith, specifically the original Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the church it was before Brigham Young took some of the members west and rebranded it Mormons. There are lawsuits, which made them reorganize and add the word “Reorganized” to their name, thus The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) and volumes of church history detailing all the reasons. And I still feel compelled to explain it in this way, as being called, Mormons, always felt derogatory to my mom, and thus, to me. Somehow (I’m sure for many reasons) we considered our church “better than” the other and “set apart.” We were specifically taught that our church was the “one true church of Jesus Christ.” And people have called me arrogant.

As well, my mom always said we studied, loved, and worshipped the same Jesus of Nazareth as all other Christians. But we had a second witness, The Book of Mormon, that proved Jesus visited the Americas after his death and before his resurrection and ascension to sit at the right hand of God.

I used to question our pastor, my grandfather, my uncle, and any other elder or priesthood member who would listen to my many questions throughout my youth, especially why dinosaurs were not mentioned in the Bible nor the Book of Mormon (though giants were and appeased me for decades).

Since I mentioned my mom, I’d be remiss to leave out my dad from this conversation. My dad rarely attended church with us as he’d been raised Methodist and was way too worldly (and busy working) to attend to his spirituality until he was much older–in fact, he wasn’t baptized into my mom’s faith until after my mom passed away–within two years of his passing.

The heart, not a literal Satan, is the source of evil

The RLDS is also a highly structured religion, quite similar to the Catholic faith. Oddly, I never heard any sermons about the devil though–not in my church anyway. I heard plenty in my best friend’s Baptist church sermons though. Woo! Scary stuff. I had been taught about sin, of course, but not to fear an actual devil–perhaps because whatever we fear we give our power to? Thus, I never really believed in the devil. In the last 20 years, my third husband has presented me with the concept that “evil lies in men’s hearts.” And that makes more sense to me than a literal Satan urging people to do wrong. I think many people use the devil or Satan as a scapegoat for making wrong choices or hurting people intentionally–they have someone (or some dark entity) to blame. I find it sad and disturbing when people do not take responsibility for their own thoughts and actions.

About Jesus

I have prayed to Jesus, though praying to Omniscience God feels better, more aligned with me, and more inclusive. In fact, (prove me wrong) I have yet to find ANY divisiveness in Omnism (or at least the way I see Omniscience–“have no other gods before me” applies, whereas I always got stuck when it came to praying to Jesus instead of to God. (The RLDS faith always prayed to “The Heavenly Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” At least God the Father was named first.) Omniscience includes Jesus, as well as, ALLah (emphasis mine on the word ALL within the name), Buddha, and all of us–children of God.

About the earth

I believed in a ‘young earth’ creationism—and wrote a college paper about it, featuring the works of Dr. Carl Baugh of Creation Evidences Museum in Texas. He believed man and dinosaurs walked the earth at the same time.

However, now, after visiting Newgrange and Knowth in Ireland, Stonehenge, Avebury, Glastonbury, and Bath in England, and Rosslyn Chapel and its castle and grounds, plus the faerie glen of Scotland, I am inclined to believe the earth is much older. I also read Gregg Braden’s books and view his video updates since attending his lectures.

One of my last living uncles (a minister in the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) believes “a day is like a thousand years to God” though and this could explain a lot.

Time as a concept

I am very intrigued with Time as a concept too, after experiencing transcendental moments, and a car accident that literally slowed down my perception of Time—and it wasn’t just my perception of it, my daughter had the same experience!

Only one way or All paths lead to God

I never bought the “Jesus is the only way” concept taught in so many Christian churches. I know many good people of different faith traditions and if God is Love, I cannot believe Love would condemn them, much less burn them in a fiery Hell. Then again, I often feel this earth is Hell, which is why digging potatoes is called, helling potatoes.

Exploring ALLways

I love what Russell Brand has said about the different faiths and their holy scriptures resonated with me. And hearing him say this quote, gave me GodBumps!

I would be pagan but they don’t seem to revere the ancestors the way I do. I am very into archeology, crystals, caves, rock formations, herbs, essential oils, tinctures, and honoring ALL of the directions (more than “as Above, so Below”). But I am not into blood sacrificing—though I do eat meat occasionally and of course, Jesus was a living sacrifice, so there’s that. Spiral thought: One of the main reasons I was taught Jesus came to earth was to set us all free from having to make blood sacrifices. I don’t believe in killing anyone, probably even if they were trying to kill me! But other times I think I would fight back. I suppose it depends on the situation. I never thought I could live with myself if say, I accidentally ran someone over. I feel guilty about shit that I’m not even guilty of–and I’ve been like that since I was a child (since I can remember), so I must be wired that way.

Wicca never interested me due to all their rituals, but the incantations and spelling fascinate me (all those words and how I can find words within words). I don’t really see the difference between most Catholic/Christian churches and Wicca because of all the rituals and rites. To me, again, Jesus came to set us free from all that. Of course one could surmise freedom begets laziness, and I don’t think Jesus meant for us to be lazy. I think he meant us to be busy healing people, teaching people, and caring for people. And spending time in solitary prayer and meditation. Ah, kind of like what the Buddha would do!

I wobble like the earth

I believe Spirituality is meant to include actions/activities. Not necessarily in dogmatic fashion but like yoga, as a practice, we can improve upon daily. To increase our vibration and raise our consciousness. I wobble like the earth. I am practicing to be as water–always finding my own level. I am always balancing. I am always seeking.

But…

I’ve never been much attracted to deities, any of the saints, angels, Marys, etc. Nor did Santa Claus hold much of my attention at Christmas.

I believe Spirituality is something we breathe and live. We can ride it without the training wheels of religion because Spirituality is a spiral path of continuous clearing, cleansing, and healing on many levels.

If practices become rote, we need to continue learning, diving deep, and conversing with friends and mentors.

Perhaps every person will be saved, but that is up to Omniscience God to decide. I think it’s akin to floating in water. We can float for a while and clean our bodies and enjoy the sensations, but for too long we starve, the body bloats, and eventually dissolves if not eaten by another creature. All-is-one when you see the fractal nature of it all. And the spiral paths that bring us back around to lessons we thought we had learned only to find more layers of the onion to peel back and peer beneath.

No one religion is “Perfect” – Nobody’s “Perfect”

After being let down by people in most Reiki groups, and churches—including Unity and other more supposed enlightened churches, I keep returning to Omniscience (Omnism), the Dao (Daoism), and Theosophy (because I am a naturally gifted dowser and most religions don’t encourage much less honor that gift).

Now, my spirituality is a blend of all I’ve experienced and come to know as truth. My spirituality is a circle, a spiral, a never-ending story. A pioneer path. A long and winding road.

Yin Yang – always observe and change your perception

I am a fractal of Omniscience and I believe each of us are—this indeed makes one grand design. Meditate on the yin and yang ☯️ not the 2D drawing but the 3, 4, or 5D version which breathes, pulses, undilates, and emanates Light! When the shadow grows larger the lighter portion shrinks but always this symbol seeks its own balance and like water. (Hint: that’s what the wavy line in the middle represents—water, movement, action!)

I’ve enjoyed the writings of Norman Vincent Peale, Wayne Dyer, and Neale Donald Walsch. And feel living as close to The Ten Commandments and The Beattitudes—actually living those, is perhaps as good a person as I will be and thank Omniscience God for the Grace when I fall. After ALL, nobody’s perfect. There’s no Perfection in Art. And surely Life is an Art.

Omnism

I am an ever-evolving spiritual being. I consider myself an Omnist, always open to experiencing life in ALL its fullness and myriad offerings. I’m introspective, quiet, and a deep thinker. I’m quite vocal when I become passionate about something, so when I feel compelled to speak, give me a mic and hear me roar!

I popped open, Spiritually, in 2005 when I had a transcendental experience in the middle of the night many years ago. I heard a deep male voice say, We Are All Connected. I’ve spoken about this publicly. See the low-quality video of that story on YouTube: https://youtu.be/_ttVo3rI_i8?si=JJMn5lDLa7tGv1-y

I continue to embrace the following scripture as a way to explain “We Are All One.”

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:1-6

Integrating the Spirals to ease negativity, pain, suffering, loss, grief, loneliness, aggravation, frustration, and any unwanted emotions

My online Zoom video course, Integrating the Spirals is helpful now more than ever because I know people are suffering. (Let me know if you’re interested in the Integrating the Spirals course.)

As an empath, I want to help ease suffering and raise hope. I want to uplift others and raise our collective vibrations and consciousness. I teach breath work and meditation so we appreciate the value of Detachment. We till our inner soil with our breath and that offers us peace and calm. Meditation is an easy way to Connect us with spirit, higher selves, Omniscience God, and receive personal guidance.

Be the best version of who you want to be–because if you’re reading my words your soul is probably beckoning you to align with it and live up to your highest ideals. Not perfect because who is perfect? Most stagnate or ‘get stuck’ while on their way to being whatever they think perfection is. Making progress is enough. Carrying your Karma lightly is enough. Be kind to yourself while living responsibly. Who you ARE affects us ALL. We Are All Connected.

Omniscience knows ALL. Omniscience is always with you. You are never alone.

Transcendental Experiences

The other day I read a post that talking about how everything is “cyclical, expansive, and relational,” etc. And as I read it I was almost jumping for JOY and saying aloud, yes, YES, and OH, YES!!! And here I am teaching the Integrating the Spirals course and all the time saying, “Every experience in life is spiral, which is indeed spiritual! You can see the word spiral actually within the word spiritual!

If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio:

I popped open, spiritually, in 2005 when I had a transcendental experience in the middle of the night—all those many years ago. I heard a deep male voice say, We Are All Connected. I’ve spoken about this publicly. See the low quality video of that story on YouTube: https://youtu.be/_ttVo3rI_i8?si=JJMn5lDLa7tGv1-y

Then I experienced other transcendental moments in 2008 while laid off work and choosing to help a lady at a health food store. First, she gave me the intro CD of Abraham-Hicks, and friends played the movie, The Secret, for us–unexpectedly. As well, I attended a Reiki class and had another brief transcendental experience during that class–hearing the ladies voices speaking over one another brought my consciousness right back to a time when my children were little and I’d been washing dishes and began to hear voices talking over each other–EXACTLY as they were during this time at Reiki. It kind of freaked me out. One of the ladies I met at that Reiki class was an authentic psychic. We became friends and I used to pick her up at her home and take her to the store. She didn’t have a car and lived in a hundred year old house. She couldn’t even afford a new hot water tank so she’d been taking cold showers for years. I admit at that time, I couldn’t imagine not having hot water.

I began to notice the feeling of what later I called, GodBumps–even at work while talking about anything life-affirming. Much later, I felt GodBumps and a feeling of being energetically LIFTED when I revisited Sedona, AZ. When I meditate I receive messages. years later I went for hypnosis and past life regressions and thus, began writing of my experiences. Ah! Such a freaking amazing journey is this LIFE!!!

Thank you for reading, sharing your stories and comments, and reminding me how Connected it ALL is! And us choosing to view from a separate perspective! OM

How these transcendental experiences have changed me

I am less judgmental.

I seem to be less stressed out at work.

I’ve become more curious.

I’ve learned multiple ways to meditate and enjoy them ALL.

I’ve been drawn to visit Sacred Sites.

I’ve been drawn to learn about Emerging and Expanding Consciousness, and is why I love participating in Dr. Bruce Lipton’s online group monthly.

I’ve been drawn to develop my intuition and psychic abilities.

I’ve been open to hearing more of other people’s mystical experiences.

I absolutely adored helping Dr. Raymond Moody for a few months (as an email correspondent); hearing and reading people’s Near Death Experiences (NDEs) and Shared Death Experiences (SDEs)—they fascinate me sooo much!

I’ve been reading more about unexplained phenomena and mysteries, ancient civilizations, petroglyphs, and more–though I’ve always loved that kind of stuff, with favorite TV shows as a child such as: The Amazing Kreskin, The Twilight Zone, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeannie, etc.

I live in GRATITUDE more.

I let go of any need to be “Perfect.”

I take better care of my body and mind by putting my spirit and soul first. I really do! More and more each day.

My 4th book is on Amazon and my daughter bought the first copy! I had ordered two initially but she bought the actual first one after I corrected a couple things and lowered the price. Observing my mental health

Observing my improved mental health over the last couple months since using the brain health device (pictured) and in the last week since moving to Ocala, Florida. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio:

A couple months ago, I began using this headset and simultaneously working with my Integrating the Spirals strategies in preparation for our move.

Why?

I had been in a funk after my husband’s stroke last October and feeling very ignored by friends—friends we had moved to the St. Petersburg/Bradenton, Florida area to see and spend time with after moving to Merritt Island (when hubby had been called back to work at the Space Center) and after we had lived in the woods for 17 months when he retired for the second time. We had been away for just over 3.5 years and I guess they moved on. I suppose that’s how life goes.

Even before Richard’s stroke, we had not seen several of the friends we had seen regularly before, but particularly after such health events (when we people really need support). These friends seemingly vanished from earth!

I guess it’s really true what they say, “Out of sight, out of mind”!

Doing my first BrainTap session

I allowed myself time to grieve their perceived absence and express my emotions (mostly via writing). I even complained, which may feel good in the moment, but I know that energy circles back, so ultimately it doesn’t help. It often just makes one feel worse. And I was spiraling downhill. I think the longer we sat in that old condo too, the more pissed I got.

So, I knew I had to do something physically to break out of that mindset. Moving has often been my answer. And the condo owner had said (a few months after we moved in) that she wanted to move back in, so I had started looking all around Florida for a similar place but one that couldn’t be sold out from under us. I was feeling more and more drawn to finding an apartment community with amenities we would use. The aging condo community in Bradenton didn’t offer the amenities we needed anyway. And I only went to the beach once in the two years we lived there. The traffic. The sand. The lack of parking. No friends to hang out with. I don’t know. The beach has long since lost its appeal.

I wanted to ride the beach horses, but never did. I went to a butterfly park and saw two butterflies. It was a joke. Of course, I did go to Reiki sessions and Reiki classes, and did a one day retreat, as well as a one day outing south of Sarasota, so I did do several things for myself while living in Bradenton, so all wasn’t lost. I reconnected with a dear senior friend too for awhile, though after my husband’s stroke she never called anymore either. I tried reaching out but she was busy with a friend who’s husband had died and said she would get back to me. I left it at that.

After we sold the car, there wasn’t much to walk to there either. Now, we have many options to explore near us. I had a feeling that would boost my mood and it has. I know no place is perfect. Nor anyone. I don’t really believe in Perfection anyway. But with the help of the tools I have and processes, as well as my darling husband and my two feet, I am feeling better every day. And that’s a good thing. Now, I am ready to forgive the friends for not visiting, not inviting, not calling, etc. It’s okay. I understand. Life’s all abour priorities. If someone really cares, they make the time. And my time will be better spent from now on too.

Mental health improvements

I am more calm.

I am mostly at peace.

I live in GRATITUDE for many things and especially for my husband.

I am sun gazing each morning and doing my meditation and qigong outside on the lanai.

I am still doing my Asian squats.

I am still doing my Integrating the Spirals F-L-O-W movements too.

I enjoy (In Joy) watering and talking to my plants.

I place high importance on making time to strengthen and improve my intuition and psychic abilities.

I am applying principles from off grid living to the new place like, sweeping the floors instead of using an electric powered vacuum.

I am choosing my next steps and next outings carefully and consciously.

I am waving at neighbors and saying “Hello”!

I am carving out more time to move and walk with hubby each day.

I am choosing to only eat nourishing food I enjoy and adding coconut kefir (something new for me).

I am taking a new class in a couple weeks called, Awakend Mind, let me know if you’d like to join me. It’s 21-days on Zoom (recorded too).

I am planning to reconnect with a former coworker who lives near us, and a couple other new friends I met via Facebook last year that live near us. I also hope to meet a cousin of mine who lives near too! And one of our musical friends. And have a friends (who were our off grid neighbors) over for a meal or go see the horses at the World Equestrian Center (WEC). So, we’ll see what pans out.

Whatever happens though, I will watch my expectations. I think expecting too much of people is what caused me to dip into this funk in the first place. So, I must guard against that.

My 4th book is on Amazon and my daughter bought the first copy! I had ordered two initially but she bought the actual first one after I corrected a couple things and lowered the price. Here’s the link to check it out: Have Yourself a Wholly Vibrant Life: Reversing Asthma and Other Chronic Illness Naturally
