‘Thrive in 25’ – New gut microbes may help release Forever Chemicals from our bodies

PFAS or Forever Chemicals is a subject I keep an eye on, since I grew up in the Chemical Valley of West Virginia (along the Ohio river).

Per an article I read tonight in The Guardian, “Some gut microbes can absorb and help expel ‘forever chemicals’ from the body, research shows.”

Integrating the Spirals: Getting old sucks (Avoiding scams)

Like me, you’re probably already screening your calls and putting “Please text first” under your signature and contact information on emails. It sure seems we can’t be careful enough!

Some recent examples of scam messages:

I liked a Facebook group and had hoped to chat with someone from the project about offering them some of our original music. Nope! A scammer had taken over and replied to me instead:

I don’t answer these types of chat messages. Ugh!

Thankfully, this spammer didn’t get money from me. I was actually going to send the person money via a post for product from Barbara O’Neill. Ugh! My bank wouldn’t allow the payment to go through and that’s when it hit me that it had probably been a scam.

I saw this and thought I’d share it because even I often find it difficult to spot the difference (spot the spammers).

I’m glad I got this handy information from Chase bank!

The older I get, though I have been a tech professional for over 35 years, I can be fooled too. I just have to slow down and REALLY EXAMINE sales pitches, emails, and messages very carefully before spending any of my limited income.

Now, not to worry, I’m still having fun making movement videos.

I am focusing on feeling good. I’ve got no time (or money) for the scammers or spammers.

Integrating the Spirals: Watch it now, Toxic Nation

Most of you know I grew up in the Chemical Valley of West Virginia and Ohio (along the Ohio River). And that I had asthma from age 6 to my early 40s. So, it should come as no surprise how invested I am in helping people understand the stranglehold Chemical companies hold on us. And why I feel we must do everything in our power to break their power over us and heal our bodies.

This is another nail in their coffin.

Integrating the Spirals: Call from my dad

I don’t know if she will let me reblog this (because she copyrighted it, and she’s closed comments on it too (ugh!), but as soon as I saw this post from Michele Lee, I felt it was a call from MY dad!! There are simply TOO MANY synchronicities here for me to ignore!

My dad’s birthday was also July 10th. He passed away March of 2019 (Michele’s dad passed a few weeks earlier, Feb. 2019). They both rode motorcycles and had several different corvette’s over the years. We always had a boat too, and dad loved water skiing.

And the horse photo Michele’s dad took, reminded me of a horse we used to have and the times dad and I would go riding together. Tears!

Lastly, I didn’t get to see the buck moon last night because it was cloudy here, but I was thinking of all the buck deer 🦌 my dad used to kill and bring home to mom and I (and how in his later years, dad didn’t want to kill any more). Dad said he realized they were beautiful. And then, I was also reminded of the deer family I was blessed to see in Ireland on a cool early morning walk on the Wicklow Way in 2019. Oh! Blessed memories. Blessed connections!
