Disappointed in FPL Response to Hurricane Ian

On 9/28/2022 we lost our electric power at 11AM in the morning, just a few hours after hurricane Ian brought the first bands of wind into Bradenton, Florida.

Our 55+ community in Bradenton, Florida has underground utilities (no power poles or lines) and sustained no building damages from Hurricane Ian, except some broken tree limbs and a few trees downed from high winds.

We are high and dry here; we were not in an evacuation zone (we are in the black circle the black box was calling out to)

Would you think we would be out of electricity for 8 days by looking at these images???

Instead of merely complaining, I offer some questions and potential solutions to improve Florida Power & Light (FPL) customer relations.

55+ Communities deserve priority

Why FPL should prioritize 55+ communities

One reason people buy into 55+ communities is so we have LESS WORRIES about exterior building maintenance, lawn care, utilities, and so on. The people who bought houses and condos in our 55+ community in Bradenton, Florida did so in part because the neighborhood is a half mile away from a trauma center hospital and is supposed to be on the hospital power grid, as well as because the community has underground utilities, no power poles and lines to detract from the beauty of nature we all enjoy while walking, swimming, playing tennis, and such. Most of us have worked our butts off to enjoy a few twilight years!

FPL has a monopoly on providing electricity in our county and many other Florida counties. Free country, right? Believe that if you want, but it sure doesn’t seem to be. And free speech? LOL Oh, that’ll have to be another post. I went on the Facebook FPL page to express, not just our disappointment but to offer potential solutions and more people called me names than supported my statements. What kind of world do we live in now? I’m trying to raise awareness and fight for what’s fair and right! Where’s FPL’s honor to its elder customers? My husband says he will NOT be paying our bill the day it comes out anymore. We will wait until the DUE DATE from now on. (That’s one way to get FPL’s attention, I guess). They sure don’t prioritize power restoration based on who pays their bills first!

FPL must improve their communications to customers

FPL must improve their communications so people can learn when their power (within 2-3 hours) will be restored. Don’t fail us by taking FIVE DAYS to tell us anything and then overestimate by five MORE days! Come on!!

We saw this same message for FIVE DAYS (first five days of hurricane Ian)

FPL must improve on restoring power to those with underground utilities

Speaking of those underground utilities, how can a community with underground electricity lines lose power? And for 8 days? I’d love FPL to answer that question. Did they turn it off intentionally??? Did a power station have an issue that fed electricity into our grid? And why is only a small part of our community on the hospital grid and not our WHOLE community?

Did FPL “harden” their equipment to help prevent power outages, as they were supposed to after the hurricane Irma lawsuit? FPL was charged with providing their customers continuous service even during foreseeable wind events by implementing storm hardening improvements. Are underground lines considered part of that plan?

The four bulleted list action plan on the FPL website is sorely lacking. And we all know, even if a company has a plan and processes, it doesn’t mean employees and staff are following them!

55+ communities should be prioritized along with hospitals, care facilities, police, and fire stations

Why we took action

We wrote to FPL, many state legislators, our community association (because they were inept!), and other civic leaders to express our sincere disappointment and frustration with FPL, as well as our community association (who could have done more, in the ways of notifications, buy a deep freezer just for these occasions so residents can freeze food, etc. have a hotline to FPL, or such). And I’ll be sending this to the Florida Public Service Commission.

Our homeowners association didn’t notify residents that power was on in the community clubhouse building–we had to learn that by stopping in to the office to ask if THEY may have had an update from FPL (more than the nothing kind of messages on the FPL website and app) or put in calls to them because FPL gave NO INFORMATION on when our power might be restored for FIVE DAYS!!!

Facebook was no help. Even while I had internet in the hotel, it would not let me post messages such as this.

Our Florida state governor stated multiple times in Live videos we saw prior to the hurricane, Florida was getting 20,000 additional linemen. However, we didn’t see ONE power truck in our neighborhood for FIVE DAYS! Nor do we know when they arrived because once we finally got the news from the FPL website that we wouldn’t have power for an additional five days, we left and went to a hotel that had power in St. Petersburg, FL! We had to wonder if they drove right by because all our utilities are underground! We’re also disappointed because this was our FOURTH power outage within a year of living here (and we were somehow led to believe when we rented this condo that we were on the power grid with the hospital), which we’re NOT!

Someone isn’t doing their job at FPL (and at our community office). And yes, many of the 600+ residents here aren’t happy about it.

Facebook was no help. I tried to post a video using hotspot to my iPhone and while my laptop was charged. It never posted.

When we went to our 55+ community clubhouse building to charge medical devices and other necessities, every available power outlet was in use (many elderly ladies were charing their phones, iPads, tablets, and more because their whole building had the power out). But here’s the thing. Every month someone comes around to hand deliver a community calendar to us, and each resident, but NO ONE came around to see if residents were okay, or tell us that the clubhouse had power! I can understand they only have one fridge and it was full (so they put a note on it to tell people not to cram in more–imagine!) BUY ANOTHER FRIDGE or DEEP FREEZE!!!

We are certainly glad we didn’t experience the horrific damage that cities and areas south of us, or all the way across the state over to Daytona Beach where they had flooding (friends of ours house flooded in Port Orange), and of course, we’re sad that more than one hundred people have lost their lives to hurricane Ian. It’s all tragic. All we can do is learn from this experience.

Potential for Lawsuits

I believe there will potentially be lawsuits surrounding the poor communication and length of power outages after hurricane Ian. FPL makes millions of dollars off the backs of the people. Had Edison not beat out Tesla back in the day, we ALL would have had FREE POWER a hundred years ago! So, the people are mad. The people are frustrated. And especially us Boomers (Baby Boomers) who have a memory of past hurricanes and did our best, we pay attention, and we take ACTION when we know we’re being taken advantage of. I’m quite sure our neighbors will be voting in new board members soon in our 55+ community association. Unfortunately we can’t vote on who runs FPL.

Do you agree? If you don’t, call me what you will, but I am not simply complaining, I’m taking action because I can, for our elder neighbors. I believe in education and sharing.

There was really no excuse for FPL’s lack of communication and getting it so wrong, telling us five days after the hurricane we’d have to wait another five days, then surprisingly turning our power back on in a couple more days, which caused us to have to leave a hotel a day and a half after checking in and carrying belongings in/out etc. And THAT stress and over exertion brought on my husband’s stroke on 10/6/2022 (more in next article about that).

We suffered mental duress and physical strain, again culminating in my having to call 911 two days after returning home from the hotel, because my husband couldn’t walk or talk properly. At the hospital we learned he suffered an ischemic brain stem stroke. I maintain that happened due to the stress and extra physical exertion lugging stuff in/out of the community clubhouse to recharge things, and then to a hotel with a day and a half (we would have stayed at home had FPL told us they would restore our power by Monday evening instead of 11:45PM on the Wednesday following the storm. I think a class action suit should ask for pain and suffering damages as well as lost profits (I had to take vacation time when the power went off, as well as to be in the hospital after my husband’s stroke), loss of perishable foods, hotel cost, gas, and more. FPL has collected money from customers to strengthen power systems, I’d sure like to know if that happened because it didn’t help us.

55+ communities need power restored first with care facilities and hospitals!!! It was unacceptable for our neighbors to be without power 8 days (FPL had said it would be 10 days)! These folks paid more for their condos because they have underground utilities! That and the fact that someone said or inferred we were on the hospital grid is why we moved to this particular community. One thing is for sure, we’ll be moving to another town, probably in the northern Florida area by August of 2023. I’ve already got a couple of realtors looking for something small for us.

I have a NEW metaphysical book coming out SOON! Stay tuned. I’m in the final formatting process of the book, but was slowed due to my “love of my life” husband’s stroke and needing to be with him at the hospital because I love him and to be an advocate for him since it affected his speech. But I’ll post another article when it’s ready, be sure of it.

Second teaser from my new book, Blue Eyes

My new book, Blue Eyes, has passed the editing process and is now in the formatting and layout phase. It is getting a new cover and subtitle. It is due out soon. (Let me know if you’d like to be on the book launch team and be one of the first to read it!)

I thought I’d take a moment to share a page (from the ePub formatted version) in the screen capture along with the text of this story and how closely it aligns with the post, “She sees with her soul,” from Miyoshi. What synchronicities!

Unfortunately, just as we were finishing the book, my husband and love of my life, suffered symptoms of a stroke and is currently in the hospital! While we hope, pray, and believe (plus taking all the actions we can), together with hundreds of friends and family members for his complete recovery, we’ve had to stop the book cover and formatting process. Please join us in prayer for the love of my life’s recovery as well as my continued ability to be present with him as much as the hospital allows.

Many synchronicities abound and show us God’s grace! We are humbly blessed at every turn! I’ll write additional posts about “strokes” soon for those interested in that.

Aftermath from Hurricane Ian

From living “off grid” a year ago (for 17 months), we learned a few things about how to prepare to live without electricity for awhile. We live in a single story concrete condo building now.

Here’s the damages around our condo:

How we prepped for Hurricane Ian

What we did right

Thank Omniscience we bought two Bluetti’s while living Off Grid! They have been a lifesaver to keep our fridge running a few hours each day! They enabled us to keep our phones charged too, which helped our mental states by having ways to check the storms’ path, stay in touch with family and friends, etc.

I cooked all the meat we had before the storm, and put it in the fridge and freezer to eat first. Boiled a dozen eggs and fried a pound of bacon. Made a pot of chili. So, the first couple days we ate well.

I blended all the green veggies I needed and leafy greens and froze them, so I could thaw and shake up to stay on my WildFit program.

I filled Tupperware containers with tap water and froze them to keep the freezer cold, it also helps the fridge stay cool without power.

I stocked us up on drinking water, alcohol, raw nuts: almonds, macadamias, brazil nuts, and walnuts, avocados, canned tuna, canned soups, and stuff you don’t need water or heat to prepare. Those will be the last foods we eat as they keep the longest.

I also filled jugs with tap water for toilet flushes had our water shut off. Thankfully it didn’t shut off. I would have filled our tub with water but it has a rusty spot and hole in it, and yes the landlord knows. Jugs are more handy anyway.

We cleaned our lanai and brought in anything that would fly away with the storm winds which exceeded 90mph best we could tell.

Mentally, I feel living Off Grid for 17 months (over a year ago), increased our resilience. I have busied myself with reading and writing. Boredom still set in though and was probably our biggest adversary.

What we can improve

Next time, we will either evacuate or have a couple more Bluetti machines fully charged and have the power charging cord to be able to recharge them from our car (thanks to our son for sending me a picture of what that looks like).

We will also have two solar panels to be able to recharge them with, now that we know most people leave and no one will walk off with them or complain about them being an eyesore (which was why we didn’t bring them with us from our sons place a year ago).

As it is, we aren’t complaining about people running generators and they are loud! They don’t care people have their windows open I guess. And they may have special needs, so there’s that. Another reason they should have Bluetti battery banks!

I’ll be sure to fill the car with gas early! I tried to get gas on Monday (before the storm) and stations near us were sold out. We live 4 miles from the beach and Anna Maria island was evacuated; much of that traffic passed by our stations on the way out of town.

We’re thankful for the cooler weather. And appreciate getting to know new neighbors, who brought us homemade cookies (I couldn’t eat, but hubby enjoyed). They gave us two potted flowers too, which have been lovely to look at. They called yesterday to check on us and several of our family and close friends have called and texted. That has helped lift our moods.

Florida Power & Light (FPL) has really been a disappointment! Our governor said Florida was getting 20,000 additional linemen but we haven’t seen one truck in our neighborhood yet! And as of this writing we have been without electricity for 48 hours! Maybe they are driving right by because all our utilities are underground! Another reason we didn’t expect to deal with power outages when we moved a year ago and so this is our 4th outage in a year!

When we checked with our 55+ community office, they had power and said a few other buildings in our community have power because they are on the hospital grid—we mistakenly thought we ALL were on that hospital grid! Guess not! Ugh.

One resident said FPL told her she had power! She told them, “I beg to differ!”

So, someone isn’t doing their job. And yes, currently, we’re not happy about it.

That said, we were closer to where the hurricane first came ashore Wednesday. We began seeing the trees bow and bend Wednesday morning in Bradenton.

Update: Day 5

Five days after hurricane Ian finds us ready to give up roughing it and head to a hotel an hour away. We got the news from our power company that our power won’t be restored for four more days, which is utterly ridiculous but is what it is. At least now we know. (They couldn’t give us any estimate any earlier. We checked via their website several times each day.)

I thought I’d take a moment to share a page (from the ePub formatted version) in the screen capture along with the text of this story and how I believe my experiences ties into what I’ve learned from Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of Biology of Belief.

Mystical vision / visitation!

One night, I was shook awake by a profound and mystical vision of my mother! This was unlike any mere nighttime dream.

The wholly encompassing presence of my mom (when she looked like she did in her early 40s) was something intensely surreal and mesmerizing… I shall not forget the experience. This experience was incredibly unfettered, I wanted it to last forever.

It felt as though we talked at the foot of the bed for HOURS, though I bet it was only a few minutes. I didn’t recall anything of what we discussed, save for this one message from mom:

“I Am in your blood.”

I sat up in bed—stunned. I feel this message from my mom is still applicable for you dear reader, even if you were adopted, as the ones who loved and raised you affected you! The book, Biology of Belief about the science of Epigenetics, proves that nurture is as important as nature. Those who raised you are in you also, because they programmed you.

From that morning forward, I felt a very real awareness, or knowing, that those on the Other Side are often very near to us (we simply move about unaware) because WE are busy with life—and that’s okay too!

They send us little messages (like winks from the Universe) and are thrilled when we acknowledge them and their messages. We can simply acknowledge our awareness of their presence by blowing a kiss, smiling while thinking of them, patting our arms/legs, giving ourselves a hug, whispering their name, and so on. We don’t have to explain what or why we are doing anything to anybody else. ❤️😉

Our loved ones in the Grand Beyond are living in the most beautiful, vast, indescribable place! And if we could glimpse it, we’d never grieve or wish them back here in the physical.

Therefore, I have wished to save others some grief. I’ve sent those whom I knew were grieving the following messages:

“I woke up with a thought for you about your mom (or dad, other relative).”

“Kiss the palm of your hand. Then place your hand on the side of your face.”

“Our mother’s / father’s blood (and love for us), is in our blood.”

Oh, and mom says anytime we use something they gave us, wear a piece of clothing or jewelry they bought for us, cook with a pot they used, drink from a cup of theirs, eat from a plate they left us, whisper their name, or simply think of them, that acknowledgement, or action—honors them greatly. And they feel it. (Kiss!)

Lucid dreaming: Time Travel

Time travel.

In this situation, I was at a gas station and back in the day when everything was new. I was sitting beside a new teal colored refrigerator and everything all around me was new and clean. I was with my parents and children (when my kids were young). I don’t know if had been traveling somewhere and stopped in there or someone we knew owned the filling station. And there was a larger building next to it that we seemed to get lost in.

At one point, I’d walked into a room where the guys from Recycled Percussion were talking. I joined in the conversation.

At one point, Justin walked out into the hallway and I joined him. He was standing a few feet from me, on his phone or something. When I approached he seemed guarded. He prefers his privacy. I walked towards him and asked him a question. He was friendly and warmed up to me a bit.

I knew my kids would have loved to meet him, so I went back to the gas station to find them and bring them over to meet him and the rest of the guys in the band.

When I got back to the gas station, there was a message for me to meet mom and dad and my children at their van.

But once outside, there weren’t many vehicles around. At the corner of the lot, I found a van, though it didn’t look like mom and dad’s.

I peered into an old van. I’d called out a name. There was no one around. No one answered my call.

When I went back to the kitchen of the gas station, everything was old, rusty, and there was moss growing all over everything. When I found someone, he knew nothing of my family and had not seen anyone.

I made my way back into the kitchen of the gas station, by the rear door, so this guy couldn’t stop me. I laid down by the old fridge and drifted to sleep. And then everything was new again in my consciousness. I could find my parents and children! But then, my alarm rang and woke me up. Ugh.

First thoughts upon awakening:

Maybe this happened in another lifetime?

Maybe this is why I’ve always been drawn to the Shell stations? (I met my first husband at a Shell gas station, and I dated someone who managed a Shell station at one point too. My first husband and I used to work at a small truck stop and I pumped fuel and was the cashier as one of my first jobs when we moved to Florida in the mid 1980’s.) Synchronicities abound.

Maybe this is why I loved The Twilight Zone when I was a kid. And Outer Limits. And stories by Edgar Allan Poe. And shows with Vincent Price. And built haunted houses. And dressed up as a witch. And dug in caves of sand.

I will begin a new habit. I’ll pick up my phone as soon as I awaken from the next lucid dream and turn on my Otter app. See ya again soon!

Omniscience. The end ALL, be ALL. Honoring ALL we lost September 11th, 2001

Omniscience sees ALL. Omniscience includes ALL. No one “gets away” with ANYTHING. The righteous have nothing to fear.

Here I Am… plucking the strings of the Unified Field.

Omniscience. The end ALL, be ALL.

For Americans, September 11th, 2001 was a day forever etched in our hearts as the most sad, horrible, and tragic of recent memory. The gut-wrenching events of that day left a mark on our collective psyche.

I write the following for the family and friends of the souls we lost, to help us ALL continue to heal from that trauma.

Honoring ALL we lost on and after 9/11/2001:

(Breathing)… It was 21 years ago today on this day, September 11 that IT happened.

Here are some of the indelible memories I have of that morning:

I was in Los Angeles (LA), California, West Hollywood to be specific. I was staying at a tall, round, Holiday Inn near the interstate (I-10). We’d had an earthquake on Sunday, late afternoon after I had checked into the hotel, and I was on a 12th floor. And I had never experienced an earthquake before so that had shaken me up a bit, literally, emotionally, and mentally.

I had started work that Monday at a Catholic college, Mount St. Mary’s University.

On Tuesday morning, I had been awakened by the radio coming on next to my bed. It was Danny Bonaduce as a DJ on the radio station. I recognized his voice immediately. I had thought that I’d set the alarm, not the radio alarm, but the buzzer (as was normal my normal practice), but I apparently had set it to the radio. And so, upon hearing Danny Bonaduce’s voice on the radio, my ears perked up and I decided to listen. As I was listening, he was speaking with another person (a lady), but I don’t remember who she was. And I could immediately tell that they were upset about something. As I opened my eyes and began to kind of wake up more that morning, during those first few minutes, I became aware that something dramatic was going on. They were discussing some sort of crash. They believed an airplane had crashed into one of the Twin Towers in New York City. I began to remember a time in my recent memory of a small plane crashing into the White House. I wasn’t immediately disturbed by hearing their conversation. The longer I listened though, the more I realized this was probably something more than a little Cessna crashing into the White House. This was this was something that I needed to turn the news on, as I needed images and visuals to make sense, if there was any sense to be made of this.

So as much as I enjoyed listening to Danny, if there is any enjoyment to listening, especially when someone is as upset and shaken as he and the other lady were. It was that there was also some part of me that had some sort of that familiarity and I felt comforted from hearing a voice I’d known since my teenage years.

I turned off the radio and turned on the TV. And I saw the news. After about 10 minutes or so, I saw the second plane crashing into the other twin tower.

While I was sleeping the first plane had already crashed into the first tower. And now as I was watching Live TV News coverage, the second plane hit the second tower. I hadn’t witnessed the first so I have no judgment in me about that. And because it was Live coverage as I continued to watch, I did witness what appeared to be people jumping or falling out of windows. And that of course that was highly disturbing. The sadness already began to set in for me with the shock of what I was seeing, and I thought, “This had to have been an orchestrated attack.”

“This had to have been orchestrated.” That’s what kept going through my mind. After about an hour I realized I really had to get up take a shower and get to Mount St. Mary’s. I had to get to work.

There hadn’t been any announcement. No announcements as of that moment about any closings or shutdowns because everyone was still watching this event unfold.

I had friends in New York City. I had friends I’d worked with. Just one year ago to that date, I had been in New York and had been working at Brooklyn Law School. (I’d been at the Marriott hotel in the financial district that was also demolished after the incident.) And immediately I was thinking of my friends I worked with at Brooklyn Law School, and wondered if they were okay. I was wondering about the other consultants that had been on that project with me and if they were still working in New York.

I took my shower. I went into work. When I got to to the school, everyone was visibly disturbed. Many were upset and shaken. Within my own company we had experienced a tragedy near LA in San Bernardino (Riverside college if my memory serves), where a mass shooting had occurred when some of our consultants had been working and I had went into that school. (I had only recently put that experience behind me, when 9/11 happened).

I was fresh off of the experience of having my young adult children (at that time) tell me which colors to wear or not to wear while going to work at that school. So I wouldn’t be involved in any sort of gang violence or something. I had sat with workers who were still coming to terms and psychological grips with having had a gunman come in to their offices and go on a shooting rampage and kill people they had worked with for years. They were still literally shell shocked.

I was dealing with the personal experience of having gone through my first earthquake so I was a bit on the tender side. And I’m sensitive anyway. I had student assistants who worked with our team and they were of Middle Eastern descent or Middle Eastern ethnicity. When a few of them started coming into our IT office they asked me if they could leave because (and at first, I couldn’t believe this), nuns were already trying to dismiss them because of their ethnicity or religious affiliation. They were already visibly upset. Some I could tell, had been crying, probably as they walked back from a nun’s office to our IT office, on campus, which took a little bit of walking. And of course, I said yes, I was just shocked that they were experiencing any negative words or harsh criticisms.

One of my student assistants (a Muslim), in fact, told me that a nun even blamed him and his country for the attack on America. I don’t know how this NUN could have known that they were responsible, in an hour to two hours after these events were unfolding. Apparently she was getting some sort of news that none of the rest of us were getting from somewhere. But that disturbed me! In fact, that disturbed me more than the events that were unfolding in New York. By this time, we were hearing about the Pentagon. And I believe it was later after we we left school that we heard about the plane going down in Pennsylvania. So, those were some of my first memories and my first impressions of how quick we could be to judge (someone of anything)! One we certainly didn’t have all the facts to, nor do we still, 21 years later! No, we still don’t have all the facts in my opinion.

And (my opinion) comes from having worked with pilots in my early career. Having a father as a builder, and constructing houses and apartments out of steel and understanding how buildings are built. Having worked with engineers over the course of my career, and understanding the exacting standards and exacting information they use to construct buildings, much less tall skyscrapers, like the Twin Towers. I have a lot of breadth of experience and knowledge, enough to make me question–not enough for me to say resoundingly–if jet airliners such as the ones that supposedly hit those Twin Towers can take buildings such as those down, but, I have enough information and knowledge to make me question (the narrative). I believe there are still questions that have not been answered about September 11 2001.

My heart goes out especially to the early and fast responders. The firemen, the brave firemen, and first responders to that unimaginable and terrifying event. They risked their lives to save others. They didn’t think about the long term effects on their health and there’s still 9/11 responders who are suffering ill effects on their health from what they breathed in that day and the days shortly following when they were helping to recover people. And there are many who have died since 9/11. From the the effects of things that they smelled and touched during that event.

I see it from a certain standpoint; there are many aspects. Most of those aspects are sad and terrifying and I feel most are veiled in secrecy. My prayer is that all shall be revealed because the ones who have crossed over and are in the Grand Beyond know. They see it all, Now. They know why it happened. They know who was responsible and they can pull some strings. I believe they still have a voice and they can still inspire us to speak. Those who continue to speak.

There are those who are brave enough to speak for the rest of us. Will we listen?

A lot of truth lies in shadows. Are we brave enough to see?

Thus, I’ll restate my intentions as:

My daily mission: to consistently and joyfully mind my Energy, pluck the strings of the Unified Field of what I want to manifest in my reality, manage the contrast between things that frustrate me (like the “too quick to judge” nuns), which cause me to question and reach for more, spiritually (think ALL-Ahhhh), and reach for Higher, more unifying, freeing, better feeling thoughts. I do this inner work to allow my body to breathe, releasing anger, resentment, tension, grief, stress, and more, and live more in a state of ease, being open to receive ALL divine blessings of Omniscience within the magnificently designed interwoven tapestry of living creation.

Omniscience sees ALL. Omniscience includes ALL. No one really ever “gets away” with ANYTHING. The righteous have nothing (no thing) to fear.

Be in God’s Energy. Sense the Presence of Omniscience. Blessed BE. And so it is…

We Are All Connected. OM

Finally! My book is done!

Since I met Patricia McGivern and had a one-on-one hypnotherapy session with her on my birthday in 2016, I have been keeping notes about observations in nature, dreams, visions, and surreal experiences (nighttime visitations) from my mom and dad since they have crossed over to the Other Side of The Veil, transitioned to the Grand Beyond, or had their “Celebration Day.”

My new book draws from these experiences. I named the book, Blues Eyes, a metaphysical novel because it’s centered around things my one day old sister, Christina has shown me.

I’ll write more and put out some videos soon about what the writing process has been like, but for now, I want to highlight some important lessons and concepts:

“And birth is only the beginning. It is overwhelming sometimes to ponder how courageous and brave it is of each soul to agree to this carnal ride.

Oh, how bumpy and bizarre this ride! How curious this journey of becoming human. How mysterious and magical to be in a living, changing, growing, wonderful body!

As an adult, we think we’re big enough, strong, and tough enough to survive, but we know the body and mind are fragile too.

Imagine when we are in the womb, how fragile, delicate, and vulnerable we are. Oh, how indescribable it must be!

So, let us all pray and meditate daily about how grateful we are to have been born–to be here!

We are able to live, move, and have our being, while not every soul who desires and strives to be here, makes it.

And lets be kind to our bodies, our children, and each other. For we are all blessed to be here, and IN Joy relish the time we have on this magnificent planet.

Note from March 18th, 2021

An Aha moment! While reading the preceding paragraphs, held within about 500 writing “Notes” in my iPhone, I realized (seeing with REAL EYES), that I’d written that 3 years to the day BEFORE the DATE dad had set with me to visit each other—due to me always being “busy, busy, busy” (dad’s words).

Overarching Takeaways

Sitting in this “complete and fulfilling state of GRATITUDE and GRACE” I Am humbled.

When anything disturbs me (including myself), when my expectations aren’t met, I will choose to let it go as best I can to Limitless Omniscience God, and forgive myself and others as we can never see the whole picture, or know the whole story—much less control anything.

Cherish nothing else except each moment of Presence.

Know that you yourself are essential to this world. Understand both the blessing and the burden of that. You yourself are desperately needed to save the soul of this world.

In a Sacred Hoop of Life, there is no beginning and no ending. To everything, turn, turn, turn. There is a reason.

Each of us is important and have a mission. Much love and multitudinous blessings to each of you in ALL ways. ❤️🦋🌀〰️
