Metaphysical Messages from an Analytical Empath

Sometimes the messages are going on all around us, but in ways most of us miss! We just do not have the ears to hear! Okay, so this time my title is a tad misleading because the metaphysical messages I’m going to be writing about aren’t from me (the analytical empath) but I didn’t want to give it away until I got into the article.

As I wrote in my book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection my mom was the first to introduce me to trees, by way of her love for them. And after she passed/crossed over to the Grand Beyond, while walking with my dad along a side road to a campground near the hotel we were staying at, he began pointing to various trees, Ash, Elder, Oak, Hickory, and more. I was shocked! My dad was so well versed in trees, and I’d lived all my life with him and never known how knowledgeable he was about them! I then had a moment of realization that he and mom must have had loads of discussion about trees over the years that I’d simply missed, or ignored. Wow!

During the last few years, while researching for my fifth book, We Are All Connected: The How and The Why. An analytical mind searches for answers, I found more intriguing ideas about trees: how trees show off their fractal design patterns, how they connect with one another physically through their root systems and communicate with the mycelium network, as well as self-organize for efficiency, resilience, and ready themselves for change. Just think about how trees prepare for the winter! I wrote specifically about Redwood trees, my favorite, the Yew tree, and Banyan trees. There are so many wonders to continue to explore when it comes to trees, that I’m very glad we live in New England, so I can explore even more trees than we had in Florida!

Tree Messages

I saw this post on Facebook today about tree communication and simply had to share it in its entirety. I had known of a way to place a device on a tree and be able to listen to the sounds it conveys, but I had not heard of this specific study before! I’m always astounded when I come across a message, that’s as much about communication we can’t hear (without using sensitive technology) as the metaphysical messages we receive in a dream or ethereal encounter!

“Scientists just confirmed that trees actively communicate with each other using ultrasonic sound pulses — forests are engaged in continuous acoustic conversation at frequencies completely inaudible to human ears.

Researchers at the University of Florence used ultrasonic microphones sensitive to frequencies between 20 and 200 kilohertz — far above the 20 kilohertz limit of human hearing — to record communication between European beech trees in Tuscany’s Casentino Forest. Trees under drought stress emitted distinctive ultrasonic click patterns at 40-80 kilohertz that neighboring trees responded to within 6 hours by closing their stomata — the leaf pores that control water loss — before they themselves experienced any drought stress. The responding trees showed measurable physiological changes indicating they received and acted on the acoustic drought warning from their stressed neighbors.”

“Physical mechanism analysis confirmed the clicks originate from microscopic cavitation events — tiny bubbles forming and collapsing in water-conducting xylem tissue as drought stress builds — which propagate through both the air and the soil, traveling up to 50 meters between trees. The signal pattern carries information about stress severity — trees under severe drought produce higher frequency clicks more rapidly than mildly stressed trees — suggesting the acoustic communication carries quantitative not merely binary warning information.

Scientists now describe forests not as collections of independent competing organisms but as acoustically connected communities actively sharing survival information in real time.”

Integrating the Spirals: Easter sketch using brush tip marker and oil pastels

My award-winning artist husband suggested I use one of our dual-tip brush markers to do my sketch and then color in with the oil pastels, so this is the sketch project I worked on the other day for Easter. I am still learning so, be kind in your comments. My sketch is the second image that follows, Linda’s is the first (because it was the image I used as my model).

My friend, Linda Lewis from Arkansas, who now lives in Thailand got me started drawing/sketching) as a new hobby, and I’m really enjoying it! See Linda’s painted sketches on her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com – This is the blog article that held the specific model I used for my sketch: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/03/15/monday-3-16-2026/

Happy Easter everyone!

Health update

My chiropractor said the numbness of the inner parts of two of my toes was due to the Extensor Hallucis Longus tendon. I have been able to get a bit of flex upward out of the toes since daily fascia blasting, massaging them and the foot with essential oil (Balance from DoTerra), as well as performing acupressure and red light therapy on it, AND using the tuning forks on it nightly before bed. I continue doing heel raises (sometimes called, toe raises or ankle raises), which I believe are helping too!

If you’re very curious, I found this link from the Mayo Clinic about the condition, but since I have no pain, only numbness and inability to lift those two toes, I’d say, thankfully, I must have a very mild case of it: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/23126-extensor-tendinitis

The pain in my shoulder and down my arm has subsided again, thankfully! And yes, I had to take the herbal tincture again. But also, I found that my Therasage red light heating pad also has a TENS option and I had not ever tried that before. So, this last week, I’ve been using that! Wow! It really feels good and eliminates the sciatica pain for at least an hour or two afterwards. I can’t believe I didn’t try it for my shoulder! Just goes to show we can have solutions right at our fingertips and overlook them for one reason or another!

All of this DIY health stuff is only one example of the philosophy I teach and share in Integrating the Spirals. My motto is “Use what you have and what you know, and integrate into your daily routine in any way, preferably the easiest way possible.” Ironically, had I been talking about that Therasage pad more often, even in a Zoom session, I might have thought about trying the TENS option on it months ago! Alas, I am a student of my own philosophy for sure!

I offer Zoom sessions to talk through situations like this and give you ideas on when/how to integrate the physical tools and techniques, even software tools, for whatever challenges you’re facing–if you’re interested and open to it. Let me know in the comments.

Riding Without Religious Training Wheels

As I wrote in my book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection I wrote about how I had a visitation (I say, ‘visitation’ because it was more than a nighttime dream) about my mom and how she and I shared in a conversation after she passed away/crossed over to the Other Side of The Veil. I know it was real and that it was special, because so far, I’ve not experienced any other visitations like that! Yes, I had the surreal shared death experience within 24 hours of my dad’s passing/crossing over, but it was completely different and much shorter of an experience than the visitation I had with my mom.

And while at the time, I wasn’t so dogmatic in my religious views, I still had some and these experiences were mind-blowing and definitely reshaped my view of God, expanding it for sure! This is why I can say my multifaceted spirituality is like practicing a “religion without the need for training wheels.”

I’m a follower of IONS the Institute of Noetic Science, and of Shared Crossings. I have learned from sessions with IONS and with Shared Crossings that each of these encounters are often different. And while some share similarities, such as traveling down a tunnel towards a light source, in every other aspect they differ. That’s what makes the science so difficult, yet so thrilling and fascinating too!

The latest class from IONS was all about imagination. And yes, there are differences between imagination and creativity. They also discussed ways we can cultivate our imagination, and explained aphantasia and how some people who cannot visualize can dream because the visuals are held in the subconscious (which is what is working during dreamtime). It was a fascinating class/lecture and one I’d love everyone to see!

Here’s a few tidbits from the class lecture, Unlocking the Science of Imagination to Transform How You Think, Feel, and Live by Cassandra Vieten.

I’m very excited to peruse this database from IONS of all the many cases of reported Spontaneous Remission! I have heard of many incidents of spontaneous remission by people I’ve either known personally or whom friends have known, so I think this database will lend credence to its existence as a real phenomenon.

My takeaway

I’ve always believed the “truth lies somewhere between.” And after pursuing a rigorous degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University back in the 1990s, I can tell you that there are different schools of thought on myriad subjects. And this is certainly one of them. The metaphysics and psychic phenomena surrounding spirituality and religious belief is one of the deepest rabbit holes we can explore. And one that I believe I’ll continue exploring for the rest of my life!

I am Spiritual, but without dogma. Period.

As I wrote in my post yesterday, https://sheilamurrey.net/2026/04/03/integrating-the-spirals-exploring-the-last-deception/ I feel we’ve been deceived many times, not only by our politicians, but by the powers that be, belief systems, books, creeds, dogmas and unseen forces.

My husband asked me why I even watched The Lazarus Initiative’s Symposium 55, and I think it’s because I am always open to new information and then, if something from the conversation sparks my curiosity, I dig deeper. And that’s exactly what happened when I listened to Dave Emery and Sacha Stone’s conversation.

So, like I wrote yesterday, I decided to dive into the question, “What are the 14 books that were omitted from the Bible?” and here’s what I found (with the help of Perplexity.ai):

The 14 books commonly referred to as the Apocrypha were removed from the Protestant Bible, primarily in the 19th century, though they were separated by Martin Luther in the 16th century. These books—which appeared in the 1611 King James Bible—were excluded because they were not in the Hebrew Bible and were deemed less authoritative than canonical texts.

The 14 books are:

  1. 1 Esdras
  2. 2 Esdras
  3. Tobit
  4. Judith
  5. Rest of Esther (Additions to Esther)
  6. Wisdom of Solomon
  7. Ecclesiasticus (Sirach)
  8. Baruch and the Epistle of Jeremiah
  9. Song of the Three Holy Children (Additions to Daniel)
  10. Story of Susanna (Additions to Daniel)
  11. Bel and the Dragon (Additions to Daniel)
  12. Prayer of Manasseh
  13. 1 Maccabees
  14. 2 Maccabees

Why They Were Removed

Protestant Reformation: Reformers like Martin Luther preferred to follow the Hebrew canon of the Old Testament for the Protestant Bible, considering the Apocrypha as useful for reading but not for establishing doctrine.

Theological Differences: Several books contained doctrines that Protestant reformers disagreed with, such as purgatory, prayers for the dead, and salvation by works (e.g., in Maccabees and Tobit).

Language and Authority: These books were primarily found in the Greek Septuagint rather than the Hebrew scriptures, leading to questions about their divine inspiraCurrent StatusThese books are still considered part of the biblical canon by the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox churches, deuterocanonical books. They are generally omitted from Protestant Bibles today, though they were included in the original 1611 King James Bible as a separate section.

What’s in those 14 books?

The “14 missing books” are the Apocrypha (or Deuterocanonicals): Greek‑Jewish writings that were included in the 1611 King James Bible and in the early Christian Old Testament (Septuagint), but which most Protestant churches later removed to the side or omitted altogether. Eastern‑rite Christians (Catholic, Orthodox, etc.) still count many of these as fully canonical Scripture.

Here’s the 14 books/additions with a brief summary of each:

1. 1 Esdras

A Greek reworking of parts of 2 Chronicles, Ezra, and Nehemiah, with extra material and a different order. It focuses on the return from exile and the issue of intermarriage with foreign women, framed as a test of faithfulness.

2. 2 Esdras (4 Ezra)

A Jewish apocalypse written after the destruction of the Second Temple (c. late 1st century CE). A visionary “Ezra” asks God why the righteous suffer and why Israel has been so grievously punished; the book stresses God’s patience and final judgment, and it includes visions of the end‑time and the Messiah.

3. Tobit

A pious Israelite, Tobit, living in exile in Nineveh, turns blind. His son, Tobias, journeys with a disguised angel (Raphael) to recover money and marries Sarah, who has been plagued by a demon. Tobias drives the demon away and later cures his father’s blindness, blending family piety, angelic guidance, and healing.

4. Judith

A courageous Jewish widow, Judith, enters the camp of Holofernes, an Assyrian general besieging her people. She seduces and plies him with wine, then beheads him while he is drunk, causing the enemy army to collapse and saving Jerusalem. The book is a powerful story of faith, resistance, and female heroism.

5. Additions to Esther (Rest of Esther)

These are six Greek insertions into the Book of Esther that add prayers, visions, and explicit references to God. They turn the Hebrew Esther’s largely “hidden‑name‑of‑God” story into a more overtly religious narrative of fasting, divine deliverance, and Jewish unity.

6. Wisdom of Solomon (Wisdom)

A philosophical “wisdom” book,” written in the persona of Solomon. It contrasts the wise, righteous person who seeks God’s wisdom with the foolish, wicked person who pursues pleasure and power. It also touches on immortality, judgment, and divine justice, and became influential in later Christian theology.

7. Ecclesiasticus (Sirach / Ben Sira)

A large collection of traditional Jewish wisdom, modeled on Proverbs. It covers practical advice on honoring parents, friendship, speech, humility, work, and piety, and includes a famous hymn praising famous Israelites. It feels like a very “rabbinic‑style” instruction manual.

8. Baruch (with the Epistle of Jeremiah)

Baruch is presented as the secretary of the prophet Jeremiah, writing from Babylon to exiled Jews. It contains lament, confession of sin, and hope for restoration, and then includes a short letter (often called the Epistle of Jeremiah) that sharply mocks idol worship and false gods.

9. Song of the Three Holy Children (Prayer of Azariah and Song of the Three Jews)

This is an addition to Daniel 3, inserted into the fiery‑furnace scene. It includes a prayer of Azariah (Abed‑nego) while in the fire and a long hymn of praise by the three young men, expanding the motif of unbroken worship in suffering.

10. Story of Susanna (Susanna and the Elders)

Also an addition to Daniel (often Dan 13), it tells of a virtuous Jewish woman, Susanna, falsely accused of adultery by two corrupt elders. The young prophet Daniel shames the elders by exposing their contradictory testimony, sparing Susanna’s life and condemning the elders. It’s a suspenseful courtroom drama about justice and integrity.

11. Bel and the Dragon

Another Daniel‑addition (often Dan 14), where Daniel exposes the fraud behind a Babylonian idol, Bel, by showing the priests steal the nightly offerings. He then kills a “dragon”‑idol by giving it a poisonous concoction, demonstrating that pagan gods are ritual theater, not real deities.

12. Prayer of Manasseh

A short penitential prayer attributed to King Manasseh of Judah, who according to 2 Kings was one of the most wicked kings. The prayer portrays a king who, after suffering for his sins, deeply repents and begs God for mercy, emphasizing grace and forgiveness.

13. 1 Maccabees

A historical narrative of the Maccabean Revolt (2nd century BCE) against the Seleucid king Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who tried to force Hellenization and outlaw Jewish practices. It celebrates the family of Judas Maccabeus, their military victories, and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple (the origin of Hanukkah).

14. 2 Maccabees

A more theologically oriented and selective retelling of part of the same revolt, focusing on martyrdom, the resurrection of the dead, and the efficacy of prayers for the dead. It emphasizes that God rewards faithfulness beyond death and that Jewish resistance is ultimately under divine protection.

Why many were “removed” from Protestant Bibles

  • They were written mostly in Greek, not Hebrew, and were not in the Jewish (Masoretic) canon, so Reformers like Luther treated them as useful but not doctrinally authoritative.
  • Several books promote ideas that later Protestant theology resisted, such as prayers for the dead, purgatory‑like concepts, and strong emphasis on merit and works, especially in Maccabees and Tobit.

If you’re like me, at least a couple of these books look interesting and I will be reading them in the future. Which ones stand out for you?

I simply feel each of us can connect with Omniscience God, without the need for the Programming of dogmas. We can be our own priest, shaman, and so on. In a way, yes, that makes each of us sovereign. But I don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. As a sovereign, I can choose (and each of us ultimately do choose), which path we’ll walk and if we’ll go it alone, or with a teacher or master. And in that way, I choose Jesus. He’s helped me more than I’ll ever know!

Meme: Omniscience God is EVERYWHERE… We Are All Connected. –Sheila Murrey

While I research things such as this, I always stay aware that “I am enveloped by Omniscience.” And this way, I don’t get sucked downward in a rabbit hole spiral or lose my faith. Been there, done that! I always laugh to myself when something comes back around that I’ve already pursued to some degree and found not to be true. I don’t push against it anymore or call it out because everyone learns and grows in their own way. And if there is any truth to be found in something, the information will keep coming up (like a weed), and others will bring that truth forward. Or that truth just may not be for me, and that’s okay too!

Integrating the Spirals: Exploring The Last Deception

Yes, the title drew me in too. I feel we’ve been deceived many times, not only by our politicians, but by the powers that be, belief systems, books, creeds, dogmas and perhaps, gasp, even unseen forces.

From watching The Lazarus Initiative’s Symposium 55, I really dug into The Last Deception: The Collapse Of The Abrahamic Spell conversation between Sacha Stone and special guest, Dave Emery. Those of you who ordered and/or are currently reading my new book, may have already noticed I pull several quotes from guests, and Sacha as well, from my time watching/listening to the interviews and conversations within the most recent symposiums on The Lazarus Initiative. I’m a Bronze level member of the group.

This talk is billed as “a forensic examination of inherited belief structures and how they continue to shape power, geopolitics, and collective psychology.” And it turns out that is a good way to describe it.

Dave opens by presenting some astonishing and albeit, controversial information and lays out a case for why we seem to do things without thinking, or things that we later wonder “why did I do that”? And that is because we’re being vicariously lived through (by angelic or fallen ones), who created a language matrix within us so we’d live out of our heads and not our hearts. It’s deep discussion that I feel I would need to listen to many times, along with reading Dave’s book, Beyond the Biblical and Into The Universe of You, to dare understand. But if this interests you, you may want to join the Lazarus Initiative and do the same. I have several other books to read first though, so I may return to this in a year or so. I will say, it interests me though it may also be misleading me or taking me off the snail’s path to veer into further mysteries! In other words, I may simply not be up to the task!

During the talk Dave said, (and I quote but also cut some out for brevity’s sake), “Christianity was taken over effectively around 325 AD, exploding very quickly into the minds and hearts of men and women throughout the mediterranean. Once the Romans became involved (think Constantine about 313 AD), it was clear to the controllers/elites trying to control the geosocial pattern and behaviors of humanity, that if they weren’t careful, Christianity could begin to action things of Melchizedek; I Am codes, sacred codes by which we were to live. The Cathars were becoming important and were totally into the sacred codes. There was a great need not just to control the narrative through the Bible that was carefully vetted and organized through the 325 AD Council of Nicea and a great need to sideline humanity from the sacredness of the Christos. As a result, it’s curious that Abraham, the instigator of the Christian one God religion, Jehovah, should suddenly, also miraculously through a servant girl, Hagar, and her son called, Ishmael, manifest a competing religion. Originally, it didn’t compete but very quickly it did. And that became (now he quoted Sacha, an excellent mechanism for ‘divide and conquer’). That would set one group of angelic humans against another. And that would spread across the world and completely control and reinforce the matrix code to ‘do as you are told’, with rules and regulations. Very little of this has actually changed (laws and orders); but some are waking up. Most continue to follow the code religiously (pun intended).”

Dave Emery’s writing on religion appears to argue that biblical faith has profoundly shaped Western history, but that human history and identity extend far beyond a strictly biblical framework. His work presents religion as part of a larger story of hidden, ancient, and often overlooked cultural forces, rather than as the whole explanation for civilization. And yes, I found myself disagreeing with Dave on a few points within his talk with Sacha Stone. But since I agree that we should “do away with dogma” in general, I do believe the person of Christ Jesus walked the earth 2,000 years ago and performed every miracle as recorded in the New Testament. I know some of you will agree with me and some will vehemently disagree. This post is mostly for those who disagree, which is why I titled it “Exploring The Last Deception.” I attempt to keep an open mind though, as that’s what I teach/share in Integrating the Spirals.

Dave’s main ideas

  • Dave treats the Bible as historically influential in law, finance, morality, and cultural development, especially in Western societies.
  • He questions why the Bible has had such a central role and uses that question as a starting point for broader historical inquiry.
  • He argues that the real human story is “way more ancient” than a book about religion or God, suggesting that religion is only one layer of a much larger narrative.
  • His language implies skepticism toward inherited religious explanations and a desire to move “beyond the biblical” toward deeper or forgotten origins.

Comparatively speaking

Dave’s writing seems exploratory, mystical, and revisionist rather than devotional or doctrinal. It is less about defending a tradition and more about reinterpreting religious history as part of a hidden framework of human development.

While I agree that the Bible has influenced our laws, financially, morally, and culturally I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. Unless of course, we do not want to be beholden to a “rule of law” and want to be sovereign individuals. But then, as sovereign individuals, who holds us accountable? Who guides our morality? And who punishes those evil doers, such as the murderers, rapists, pedofiles, etc.?

I’ll add this for your consideration, it’s part of what I’ve learned from the little pamphlet by E. Raymond Capt, “Abrahamic Covenant” that states, “Going back to the establishment of the first colonies, we find that in 1606, King James I of England, who issued the first Charter, began with these words: “We greatly commending, and graciously accepting of, their desires for the furtherance of so noble a work, which may be the providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the glory of His Divine Majesty, in propagating the Christian religion to such people as yet live in darkness and miserable ignorance of the true knowledge and worship of God.” And subsequent Charters in 1609 and 1611 contain the same religious reference. Pilgrim fathers who risked their lives and limbs to cross the sea did so “for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith.”

Now, Dave’s points seem to say that our Christian faith, and those of these early American pilgrims had been overtaken or hijacked by ethereal parties for their own intended purposes, as so to deceive us from the true Light of Christ. And perhaps that could be true, but to what end I ask? What might their goal be?

Continuing a bit more from Capt’s pamphlet, “In 1620, the Pilgrims, in their tiny boat the Mayflower, crossed the broad Atlantic to accomplish the noble words expressed in their now famous compact: “Having undertaken for the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian faith, and the honor of king and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia.”

Spiral thought: A lot seemed to be going on in the early 1600s! Consider this: The Apocrypha (14 books of the Bible) were removed from the Protestant Bible, primarily in the 19th century, though they were separated by Martin Luther in the 16th century. These books—which appeared in the 1611 King James Bible—were excluded because they were not in the Hebrew Bible and were deemed less authoritative than canonical texts. Curious, like I am, about what these 14 books were and what’s in them? Stay tuned for my next post!

The Last Deception in one sentence

Emery’s writing on religion reframes the Bible as an important historical force, but not the final explanation for human history, which he believes is much older, broader, and more mysterious.

The main thesis of The Last Deception is that the Bible predicts a final, end-times deception in which Satan counterfeits God’s work and leads people away from truth before Christ’s return. And I find that interesting since Dave told Sacha that he didn’t believe in a specific person named, Christ Jesus. Unless in his book he’s referring to the return of the Christ Consciousness (and while I allow room for that, it seems illogical to me to believe in THAT yet not believe in the son of Almighty God in the personage of a man named, Christ Jesus (remember, ‘Christ’ is a title).

The piece frames this deception as more than ordinary false teaching: it is a climactic spiritual delusion tied to the “lawless one,” the restraining of evil, and the role of Satan in the last days. It presents the coming deception as a counterfeit of divine indwelling and a warning that people can be persuaded into accepting falsehood as truth.

Dave’s central message seems to be: the end of history will feature a powerful, spiritually dangerous lie, and believers need to recognize it before it takes hold. Thus, The Lazarus Initiative’s Symposium 55, held my attention through the discussion of The Last Deception: The Collapse Of The Abrahamic Spell between Sacha Stone and special guest, Dave Emery. But I will need to sit with the information for a while, and get through some other books before I delve further.

Perhaps, I am content on this Good Friday, in my current knowledge and belief system, guided by my forefathers who crossed the vast Atlantic, and the steadfastness of our American founding fathers who framed our Constitution. If only the people who now hold the power of our government would align with that and work within its framework, not against it.

While we may have been, and may continue to be deceived by our politicians, so-called leaders within the Epstein class, the powers that be, belief systems, books, creeds, dogmas and even unseen forces, one truth remains clear (at least to me), Omniscience God always prevails. May you all be blessed this Easter by remembering that our Lord, Christ Jesus of Nazareth is an eternal living being and loves each of us more than we can currently comprehend.

OM. Namaste. Amen.

Integrating the Spirals – JIGGLE WIGGLE

I’m encouraging those “over 50” to open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up their pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’), become more aware of their thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease, loosen up and move their bodies (too many are stuck in their heads and physically unhealthy), become strong, and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, body. And to question EVERYTHING!
