Can you sense my excitement from the subject line/headline of this blog article? Haha! I guess I can formally consider myself a songwriter! I’ve mostly been a muse, rough demo singer, and occasionally co-songwriter with my husband… until now.

Music video (full of Sheila’s original writing from her SheilaMurrey.net blog site), to go with her original song, GodBumps! Let us know what you think in the comments. And PLEASE SHARE!

Music video (that includes many of Sheila’s original photographs of trees and some of her memes), to go with her original song, Whisper of the Ancients! Let us know what you think in the comments. And PLEASE SHARE!

AND here’s the second metaphysical original song, Whisper of the Ancients:

I’ve been creating several new songs. You may have seen 80smetalman’s post (https://peacefulrampage.wordpress.com/2025/01/18/two-versions-of-a-great-anti-bullying-song/), of The Bullies anti-bullying song inspired from my reading of Michael’s book, He Was Weird. I was humbly honored he chose to share that (I’d sent him an email of the two versions of that song because I couldn’t decide which one I like better. Yes, we email and Zoom with each other, as we’ve been chatting about his second book, the sequel or ‘book 2’ of He Was Weird.)
I’m working on a video currently for that original song, The Bullies. I wanted to get it out yesterday, but I’ve run into a few snags, and then, while I was distracted, I completed the videos for GodBumps and Whisper of the Ancients.

Check out my previous blog articles for a bit of the back story regarding these new songs:

Expanding Consciousness thought of the day

Isn’t it funny that those who are no longer relevant and interfere with our ability to choose from Love seem to disappear from our lives?

I got one of those ‘new friend’ chat messages from Truth Social, X, or GETTR (I forget which one), asking me what I do for a living. Ha! My response:

It’s all on my Profile dear heart. I’m retired, writing books, promoting our original music. Sharing Super Patches for holistic health. (I didn’t used to say ‘dear’ before and always felt it a huge interruption in my day. But I’m learning to be kind.) When we know better, we do better. Right?

All things multiverse

I signed up for this weekly Business Networking session on LinkedIn and then realized Genava’s last name! It’s the same as Michael’s (80smetalman) author of He Was Weird, and blogger of https://peacefulrampage.wordpress.com/ and https://80smetalman.wordpress.com! Now, is this another example of the synchronicity of the multiverse?

Everything happens for a reason in the multiverse with myriad sides to every story

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason in the multiverse and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s THRIVE in ’25!

Yours in expanding, coexisting (because there’s more than one-side to every story), balancing, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

About us

Richard and I play at the intersection of Energy, Spirituality, Health, and Music, to let FREEDOM ring for ALL! We’re down to earth (even if we are conspiracy theorists), yet not in the ground! We’re just dancing around in rhythm with the mystifying Multiverse… all humble like. But we’re always thinking, onward and upwards, so we keep exploring and creating!

My husband of 19 years, Richard Murrey, is an award-winning illustrator, plus he’s a seasoned guitarist, bass player, and songwriter (having penned over 400 original songs).

Video of us performing Live: https://vimeo.com/416711742?ref=fb-share

All of our 400+ original songs are available for song placement in TV, film, games, etc. Video content creators, filmmakers, podcasters, production companies, deejays, Vloggers, YouTubers, and more can use our original music and songs in movies, TV shows, video intros, and such. We’re also seeking bands to play our songs. If you know of any up and coming musical artist, please forward this blog article to them.

  1. Looks like you have taken to this like a duck to water. I have no idea what is involved, but it seems you are finding it successful from the work ‘go’. It’s great you have this direction now for the coming year. Cheers to Sheila.

    1. It’s definitely got me intrigued, Gray. Did you see the post before? I linked to you and there was a section about Johnny Depp.
Yes, I usually have to put my idea or partial lyric into Suno and then let it generate a couple of complete song lyrics, before I can massage those lyrics into the song I want to create. One if the downfalls is that it might take all 50 of my free allotment of song ‘credits’ just to get one good song version. The song credits reset daily. But it’s free and I have time. Ha!
Anyway, I now have one more thing to do each day, plus journal in this nifty diary I have, thanks to you and Angie. Smiling! Life’s good!
Hope you are feeling much better now, Gray!

      1. I haven’t read the previous post Sheila, so will go look. I have been getting over this tail end to flu and not focusing on much presently. By next week tiredness should be better.

I have not listened to all of Dill’s songs, but do understand that the amount of choices are infinite with AI. He uses very many eclectic styles. And have never looked at any of the systems at all. So do not know what is actually involved. A bit like various apps I have downloaded in the past for other needs, like video support. They suddenly get to a different required level and then you have to subscribe with monthly or yearly funds involved.

Logic Pro is a system you can simply buy outright and it’s yours. But expensive. Hence my GarageBand format presently. Is there an AI equivalent to buy outright?

I am pleased you like the Pathways journal format. I’ve been focused on a small vintage Filofax format for daily small plans inclusions. Not really journaled for a while now. Must remedy that. Cheers.

      2. Richard has used Logic Pro or is familiar with it. I played around with GB on my new phone. I give you all the credit for figuring it out (as much as you have)! I know you’ll say you’re not a pro on GB but I sure goofed up everything I tried on it. I’m still learning the iMovie app that came with the MacBook! Ha!

I don’t know if there’s an AI program we could buy outright, but Richard is paying the $10 a month and that’s a small fraction of what he used to spend on Nashville studio demos! So I’m all for that!
I just use the free version because it’s just one more thing I don’t feel I really have time for! Haha!

      3. I have looked at and used the iPad iMovie app. It needs additional tools from another source really to enhance possibilities. I may look into a complete video making app package soon. Buy something outright with more inherent journeys to be built upon.

I still have little twinkling ideas of what to produce visually for certain songs. But will need some help from a few friends. ‘18 years was 50 years ago’ has a story attached which could be an ideal acted out vision. About finding yourself back in the frame musically. Contrast in timelines is ideal for ‘That was Then, but this is Now’ scenarios. ‘Stop hiding in the corner in your tip top hat, dreaming you’re back on the stage’ is a nice example of ‘now and then’ visually. That kind of thing.

Anyways. Thank you and cheers as ever Sheila.

      4. ‘That was then, but this is now’ is a song by a band called ABC. I have three of their albums on vinyl. Such great songwriters and played around with words a lot. My equivalent is ‘What once was’ is now ‘has been’. As it goes on…..’So drag yourself into the light’. I suppose we can’t keep living in the past can we Sheila. It’s just ‘sitting and wasting the days’.

        Cheers.
The tip top hat is still sitting in the corner of my room, dreaming it was a new accompaniment for its owner once back on the stage. 😊 🎩
