It’s December 28th, 2024; Speaking of unusual things yesterday, we’ve got a tribute to Stephen King for you today. I feel like Stephen King tonight would have probably been a better song around Halloween, but somehow I missed it. Better late than never! Ha!
This is the three-hundred-sixty-third new music post for 2024! This original song covers a lot of ground. It includes many of the book and movie titles from Stephen’s work. When Richard wrote this song, he sent it to Stephen King and got a nod of permission–but no other acknowledgement. So, we’ll never know if Stephen liked it or not. The music is fantastic on this song though. The saxophone of John Heinrich gives this tribute song a lot of flair and soul. This original song was recorded at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.
Now that we live closer to Stephen King, perhaps we’ll run into him somewhere! I know he’s a raging Democrat, but I’d still love to meet him one day. (As you know, I used to be a Democrat too. I’ve been an Independent for nearly twenty years, which is why I don’t get so bent out of shape that President Trump won, and I actually think he’ll do a good job for the country.)
I really think and feel that getting bent out of shape about ANYTHING is one sure fire way to lose your health and vitality. I don’t know about you, but I want to live FREE and not be CONTROLLED. Or at least I can say, that’s what I want. But as The Rolling Stones sang, You can’t always get what you want, you get what you need. Ah, yeah. Haha!
Speaking of good leaders
I posted the following on LinkedIn as a comment/reply to a lady who had a post about CEOs and how many company employees don’t want to talk with their CEO, or their CEO wasn’t approachable/accessible:

Everything happens for a reason in the multiverse and there are myriad sides to every story
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason in the multiverse and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24! And let’s (are you ready for this?) THRIVE in ’25! or just be… Alive in ’25.
Yours in expanding, coexisting (because there’s more than one-side to every story), spiraling consciousness,

Like with Clint Eastwood, I love how Richard was able to incorporate so many Steven King titles. I stopped using political leaning as a criteria for friendship a long time ago. I met people who agree with me politically but are still real jerks and I have met the opposite.

I hear you on the political leanings, Michael. It wasn’t just that though. He is a raging atheist too! I pretty much disagreed with every word he uttered and by the end of the visit wasn’t sure what I could salvage. I did try! But once we got home, he got very involved on Facebook between some of our longtime friends and us and posted some very opinionated comments. That was the last straw for me!
Now, you have me thinking. What does constitute someone as being a jerk?
And thank you about Richard’s clever writing. I think he loved the challenge of making those titles mean something. Ha!

Somebody doing what you described constitutes being a jerk for starters. Also those who want to shove their beliefs in everyone’s faces.

Well, there you go. And thus, the reason I unfriended him. And probably why some have unfriended me! Though I don’t think I shove my beliefs down people’s throats, but I do let people know where I stand and am open to learn where they stand. Thank you, Michael!

Wow, this is incredibly creative and clever. I’m not sure how they put this together, but it must have involved a lot of research. I absolutely love the saxophone playing, and the video was really awesome with the Stephen King pictures. Did you send this to Stephen King? I bet he’d be amazed by how good and creative it is.

Willie, Richard sent the song to Stephen King years ago but not this video. We’ll have to send it to him on social media channels and see if we can get it through to him or his people. Great idea!
Thank you!
