December 5th – Are you fixed – Integrating the Spirals

It’s December 5th, 2024; We’ve got a fun original song for y’all today. Are you fixed features Bubba Hudson on vocals, asking the title question. I suppose anyone dating these days might find this an appropriate song. I know I remember being a bit shocked when I first heard it, wondering why Richard would pen such a song. Ha! It did go over quite well with the crowd when Richard’s band, The Righteous Buds, used to play it out Live.

This is the three-hundred-thirty-seventh new music post for 2024! This original song was recorded at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN. I remember asking Richard if he thought Bubba kept a straight face while singing it. What do you think?

Straight talk

I don’t know. Sometimes I think I should give up trying to make sense of the memes I see. Oh, wait, it’s because there’s so much chaos, and so many sides to every story. Let me see. Perhaps we all need to be fixed. Then again, check out the stats in this meme regarding the drop in sperm count. Maybe all the women who are upset about seeming losing the federal right to an abortion are focused on the wrong aspect of the situation. One day, they may want a baby, and will be unable to conceive.

Let me get my kaleidoscope out. You can think of it almost as one would when they say, “Let me get my crystal ball.” I look into the kaleidoscope (and teach a class on that) to garner myriad perspectives on an issue.

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
