It’s October 13th, 2024; We have an original country song for those, like us, who love Willie Nelson. Britt Savage lets her smooth vocals on this pro demo. All covered in Willie is one of Richard’s more humorous tribute songs. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Steven Cooper for putting this together for us in his Nashville, TN music studio.

Here’s the two-hundred-eighty-fifth new music post for 2024, as I consistently share one of our original songs to lighten, educate, and entertain. If you love Willie Nelson, you’ve got to check this out:

I am a ‘Dot Connector’ because I spot the patterns!

Screen capture of a meme and my comment: “The hallmark of expertise is no longer how much you know. It’s how well you synthesize. Information scarcity rewarded knowledge acquisition. Information abundance requires pattern recognition. It’s not enough to collect facts. The future belongs to those who connect dots. –Adam Grant (and then my follow up comment: “I love it! A similar thought dropped in for me yesterday that I’m a dot connector. I connect the dots! Ha! I also see the patterns. –Sheila Murrey

Everything happens for a reason

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24!

Yours in expanding, observing-the-patterns, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

  1. Bryan Ferry’s version of Funny how time slips away made me aware of Willie Nelson. It was Slim Whitman that I started to get into more around that time though. Rose Marie got me wondering and searching I suppose. Cheers Sheila.

      1. The way he sings Funny how time slips away as a much older guy now is phenomenal. And what a guitar player. The live one with Kris near him and amongst the many country singers present is especially emotional.
