It’s July 11th, 2024; We have an original hard rock song about what all should come. I inspired the lyrics of this song when I told Richard it seemed like every hit song had the word ‘come’ in it! What he crafted from that conversation turned into one of our favorite originals! A hot pro demo with Bubba Hudson on vocals and heavy guitar licks from Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.

Party round the sun

Here’s the one-hundred-ninety-third new music post for 2024, as I consistently bring you some new fashioned music to peak your curiosity or raise an eyebrow.

Do let us know what you think of our original songs, even if for any reason you don’t like them. The purpose in my sharing these daily is to get them heard. And maybe perhaps, to have some folks share what they like. How else do songs go viral?

Speaking of hot (saving us from the heat)

It’s so hot outside now, we’ve had to ask our son-in-law, Mike, to bring us a portable AC unit! Who knew it could be hotter in New England than in North Carolina (where my son lives), but yes, that’s what is happening here.

I may envision myself a spiritual guru sometimes, but most of the time, I’m still human and grumble. Haha! Don’t worry, I’ll keep doing my breath work and wring out some enjoyment (hot or not outside) as I know the snow will be flying before I know it! LOL

Meme: “Be careful not to use spiritual tools as illusionary cop-outs for putting in real work, and painting a false-image that you’re actually tuned in when you’re still trying to escape.” — Unknown

Always balancing like Yoda

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. I know longer escape or run from any issue. I use all the spiritual tools at my disposal to breathe and balance like Yoda–while remaining human and owning my foibles.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. May we all soar in ’24!

Yours in expanding, hot-cool, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

  1. I did like that quote regarding the adoption of ‘spiritual endeavours’ like sage smudging, geometric patterns, etc. scenario. I imagine an ‘Oh! isn’t it all wonderful!’ said with a floaty voice attached. Doing so with a crazy smile on the face to avoid the nitty gritty. It is, as you say, seeking inner peace using such spiritualism but with logic balancing normality of the everyday challenges too that matters isn’t it. Great song too Sheila. All the best.

    1. I love this, Gray! “…balancing normality of the everyday challenges…” is certainly my aim using ALL available from the universe. With a crazy smile and floaty voice too! Ha!
If or when you read my book, Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection, I recount the story of saging my daughter’s house (the same 100 year old house our apartment we live in now that’s attached), which we believe cleansed the air after her miscarriage and allowed her to conceive twins!

      1. I do like the positivity in those floaty smiles. I have met many people over life that ooze positive energy. In my pottery making days from the 1980s and meeting other fellow craft workers and artisans who had simple outlooks to their lives. Our local community is also one that seeks the natural and simple ways to living life ethically and with consideration to supporting each other. Zero waste and community organic gardens. Hence Dyfi Wholefoods being so loved. But, as said, the everyday running of such an enterprise requires the flip side of the ‘business of living’ coin. Great vibes as always here Sheila. Cheers and all the best.

      2. I sooo want to get into pottery making, Gray. But my daughter tells me my fingernails are too long (she works at an art studio). Yes, if I lived near you all, I’d shop at Dyfi Wholefoods too! I love that Angie is part of it! My dream! Ha!
I understand the business side, but the intention is what counts in my opinion. So her work is really joy. Thank you always for your support, Gray. Cheers and best too!

      3. You should try clay. Make a free form piece/sculpture instead of throwing a piece on a wheel. Very therapeutic.

The shop is very much a place where people love to meet and chat whilst buying. Also, many fantastic events happen all year round in the town. So very vibrant. You would find lots of like minded people as yourself. All the best Sheila.

      4. I tried little bits of clay, like making a spiral a couple years ago, and cubes, etc. but I have always wanted to try elf or gnome houses, bowls, and plates. Time will tell if I get to that (now with granddaughters to watch). Ha!

I am sure I would love it there, Gray. Thank you!
