It’s May 23rd, 2024; Here’s an original hard rock song about the Angel of Death. This original song is reminiscent of Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne in its approach to telling the story of the Angel of Death. This song was supremely mixed by Steven Cooper at his music studio in Nashville, TN.

Hard rock song

Here’s the one-hundred-forty-fourth new music post for 2024, as I consistently throw one of our original songs out front and center to attract attention, entertain, and perhaps expand your consciousness. Take a listen and see what you think of this original hard rock song if you dare! Bwahahaha!

Who’s Lord and Master? Who’s the god of this earth? It seems no one gets out alive!

Ode to Judas Priest and Ozzy

Wonder what band would want to play Angel of Death? Only a band that sounds like Judas Priest or Ozzy could do it justice we feel.

Couple of memes about death

My meme: No one is IMMUNE from DEATH (on this physical plane). –Sheila Murrey

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even a physical death does not mean it is the end of us.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. May we all soar in ’24!

Yours in expanding, never-ending, spiraling consciousness,

  1. Like 80smetalman, I think it sounds like early 1970s too. I loved an album by a band called Merlin. They had an eclectic mix on their one and only album. And some songs had this vibe and sound. You got me thinking of those early 1970s days listening to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Silverhead, and how my friends took to that sound more than myself. But thinking back, such great songs were being listened to in the background of our gatherings. Mind you, we covered a Silverhead song or two for playing the pub circuit. Ace Supreme was one of them. We were lucky in those days to have such an array of vastly different musical styles that exploded for us all. To tap into and play on guitar for early pub gigs.

Great oriental guitar flicked bit nodded to on this Richard song Sheila. All the best.

      1. There are a few bands called Merlin. If you type Merlin Space Raider in YouTube, it will take you to the Merlin band site. Their whole album is on there and that is it. Nothing else. The thumbnail is the album cover. Five band members dressed in red and white jump suits smiling at the camera. The whole album is so eclectic with different styles of songs. A couple of the ballads are beautiful. I saw them live twice and they were awesome. I played this album over and over for a few months. You may enjoy it. My loving it is based on the 1970s vibe and hearing it at that time.

      2. It’s a certain 1970s genre Sheila. Seeking a hit record. Merlin embrace all sorts of influences to catch the one track that hopefully gets a ‘hit record’. Even the visual imagery was calculated. The thing is. Despite that, they produced an album that resonated with me. The Hudson Brothers album did too around that decade. The musicianship is at session musician level. The songs are formulaic, but absolutely of that time. There are songs on that Merlin album that are cherished for a lifetime for what they impacted on myself re: the tunes and structure. Some, but few, albums did that back then. It was a case of a single 45 that was released and realised a hit with many bands. Then buying the subsequent album disappointed. Merlin were different. Just a really nice outcome of songs with consistency.
