We don’t usually get a video up as soon as a song comes back from our Nashville TN studio, but this time, hubby was ready (he had the images ready to go). No time to waste! Ha!

  1. Oooh! That Smokey voice connects fantastically and perfectly with the Bond vibe. Clever lyrically and great melody. It’s so good listening to the two versions (home/studio versions). I am a massive Marc Bolan/T.Rex fan and there are many albums with different source recordings. Home demos, studio outakes, fun exchanging experimental times, live gigs, etc. Then covers of his songs by other artists. You begin to see how music blossoms, whilst appreciating the raw other versions and their energies too. Enjoyed this Sheila.

    1. Oh, great! I’m so glad you liked it. Coincidentally or synchronistically, one of the Bond movies was on TV yesterday and hubby caught it and the opening song was sung by a female that sounded so much like the pro singer we hired for our song! I told him he’s onto something with this. (Sorry I missed your comment til now, by the way. No idea why.)

      1. I’ve been really busy with planning and arranging the studio in Borth. Spoke with the guy who runs it all. An American with past experience as engineer and producer. Really natural chat. My wife knows him and his family really well as customers in her shop. I never knew re: this studio. Small world. Back to Bond. So many fans of this medium with books, films, music. My son collected them all. A few well placed hashtags on your promotional considerations and it’ll jump up the Google search list. All the best Sheila.

      3. I wrote a blog about ‘The Ninth Gate’ infantry Musette bag that Johnny Depp used in the film. It is an iconic presence in that film and is much sought after. Basically, it is rare. People want to own that particular bag. I get daily visits. Even after years of uploading the blog. it. It gets sought after. Rather like your Bond theme. People are fascinated with any links to familiar After years it gets hundreds of views from Google searches.

      14. It is akin to my fountain pens being vintage too. My brother is now collecting Mont Blanc pens and keeping them in his own Ninth Gate Musette bag. He took it on holiday this year and was amazed how much it actually carried inside. It is like a little Tardis. Monks? Precious philosophy to adopt.
