It’s September 10th, 2024; We have an original story song for you today! Bubba Hudson’s vocals and radio-ready song production from Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN should get us somewhere. Hmmm… where? What’s our goal? TV series, radio, film, games, any of that would work. Or introduce our music to a new up and coming band who needs original music (not everyone is a songwriter)!

Here’s the two-hundred-fifty-fourth new music post for 2024, as I consistently attempt to reel people in, but apparently we’re just not that good! UGH. Sorry! I am usually UP and positive, but in 2 days we’ve only had 14 views on the new song, and it shows we have almost zero visibility out there.

So, if you missed the launch of the brand new song, here it is! Prove me wrong. Restore my hope!

The Super Patch contest is revving up!

I’m wearing either three or four patches a day for 90 days to do this challenge. I’m wearing Liberty, Ignite, Peace, and Defend. My friend, Kary Kruger, who introduced me to these patches, she and her adult daughter have both lost/released 40 pounds in the last year (yes, they move more than I do, and probably eat better/cleaner than me, but if I can drop even half that, I’ll be on track to release more next year). I am doing my stair-climbing daily, the patches have eased all the joint stiffness and crap I’d had for a bit more than a year, so I am very thankful for that! And I am back to my daily yoga and qigong, along with some Energy Medicine (I do Jin Shin Jyutsu, a type of body holding if you’re not aware of it).

As far as costs go, the patches are much less expensive than any other diet/exercise program I’ve bought before, so we’ll see. I’ll report my progress or frustration, either way.

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. From Ohio

I must tell you that I have emulated Chrissie Hynde’s voice for decades when I sing (Okay, yes, Tina Turner was a role model for me due to shared life experiences. My voice isn’t as gravelly as Tina’s and my natural tone likens more to Chrissie’s voice–because know someone will question me on this). I’m not technically from Ohio, but I sang Chrissie’s song about Ohio many times (along with Brass in Pocket and Middle of the Road). But, I did grow up right across the river from Ohio (in WV). I also met my first husband in Ohio (and our daughter was born in Ohio–our son was born in West Virginia). While some people in WV dislike the ‘buckeyes’ in Ohio, I never did. I always loved Ohio. So, there’s that. And that’s probably what first drew me to Neil Young when he sang his song about Ohio too (plus I grew up during the time of the Kent state protests/killings). UGH!

Bummer, of sorts

Yes, I read about this last night, but now 1440 News also reports that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is probably going to drop out of the 2024 USA Presidential race and throw his support behind President Trump. UGH! Whatever.
