Last night, we got to do something I’d been wanting to do for YEARS! I LOVE Christmas light!

Our three granddaughters sat in the back of the car with the third row of seats down, so it reminded me of a station wagon. They took their coats off and moved all around, getting a view of the lights from nearly every possible vantage point! Ha! I enjoyed hearing them ooh and ahh, and sing a bit too. At the end of the lights, there was a dairy bar type of food truck and we all got something. I got a hot dog as I had not had one in years… (I guess that might qualify as a good segue for today’s song and this post, no? LOL!) and everyone else got the BEST hot chocolate. I didn’t want to drink it so close to bedtime (yet I do love chocolate), though I probably should have since everyone raved about it. Ha!
I actually went to sleep a few hours earlier than usual though last night. I think it was because I was sooo HAPPY!!! (Go figure.)

Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

It’s inspired me to share a little nighttime meditation with you all following the song. But do listen to the song first. I really think it’s a cute song! Richard wrote this song after we went to Ireland, England, and Scotland in 2019 (on a life-changing Sacred Celtic Journey), because one of our friend, Shari Hinkle, goes fishing with her man. I don’t fish. And Richard doesn’t fish either! LOL! But that’s my hubby. He takes inspiration from people watching and listening to their stories. If you know Shari, her background picture in Facebook is of her holding a huge fish she caught! Yes, if you catch the Big One, be sure to have someone take a picture, so others will believe you when you tell your big fish story! Haha!
I love it when a plan comes together
Shari Hinkle wrote a book too! And I bought it, read it, and wrote a review for her book because I enjoyed it sooo much! (I’m currently reading 80smetalman’s book too, and will review it here when I’ve completed it as well…). Shari’s book focuses on her past life regression sessions with our lovely Patricia McGivern (our hypnotherapist), and the physical healings she manifested from the result of those sessions. It’s fascinating and incredible and I still recommend it to people who “follow the Science.”
As I explained yesterday, Western Medicine let me down in 2005 and led me to write the book, Have Yourself a Wholly Vibrant Life. My intention was to help people understand more choices were available. What’s irritating to me is that no one has wanted to read it! Go figure. I guess it has become my barometer to just how ASLEEP people are!
I won’t stop preaching the truth of holistic health until all of us do. Because not many do ‘get it,’ yet. That there are myriad ways to heal.

This is the three-hundred-first new music post for 2024! I’m so proud of myself (not something I say often, as I am the most humble and ego-less person you’d want to meet), for being so consistent this year. I’ve been able to say what I need to say, and share one of our original songs everyday. Woo-hoo! And speaking of making my voice heard, this song brings up so much for me!
Richard wrote this song (he began it before and finished it after) he experienced an ischemic stroke in October 2022! We were going through a hurricane in Florida and our power was out for 8 days! We’d already gone through so much, having had our power off there for one reason or another before (4 times total outages in the two years we lived in Bradenton, FL), and we’d only moved THERE (to a furnished rented condo), because we’d been living Off Grid in the northeast Florida woods for 17 months in our RV. Richard had all he could take of ‘roughing it.’ So, we picked the particular condo to rent because it was a mile from a hospital and was supposed to be on the hospital power grid, and because the power lines were all underground. But THAT didn’t matter. It was another situation where we had made the best decision we could with the information we understood at the time. And yet, we were still wrong.

Did you ever that old movie with Matt Damon, Mickey Rourke, Jon Voight, Danny DeVito, Claire Danes, Mary Kay Place (one of my favorites), Virginia Madsen (whom we loved in Sideways), Roy Scheider, and even Randy Travis? Watching that movie this morning, really got me thinking of how big money corrupts. And that a person can spend their whole life swimming upstream, fighting the ‘big bad companies,’ like the insurance companies, banks, chemical companies, and so on, and even if you win, you lose. I won’t ruin the end of the movie for you if you haven’t seen it. But I cried because it so closely resembled the fight my parents had in the early 1980s with the banks. I could write a script for movie about that, but who would care? What good would it do?
We see the evidence, or at least hints, of what’s going on all around us, but do we pay attention? And does it change anything?
I’m tired of ‘leading the horse’ to water. I’ll just leave the following right here, without explanation, and as each of us do, we can decide whether to believe or not. And if we ‘connect the dots,’ what then? What action do we take?

I gave up on Big Pharma after Western Medicine let me down in 2005. Actually, they let me down years before that, but 2005 was the last straw for me. I wrote about it in my holistic health book, Have Yourself a Wholly Vibrant Life. We tend to only open our eyes and see the truth of what’s going on when things hit home for us. When things impact us personally. It was after I began eating a raw vegan diet, and listening to people in the raw vegan movement, as well as, health practitioners who got slack from people in their churches for practicing Acupuncture, and massage therapists who studied World Religions, that I began to become aware that the world of health was sooo much bigger than I’d ever realized. And how much money my asthma specialists doctors had made off of the asthma I’d had from age 6 to my 40s. But I chose to say, NO MORE. They’ll get no more money from me.
I don’t think President Trump will go far enough. Even with RFK Jr and Elon Musk. I think our country has already gone over the edge. And it’s so sad.
People are changing their minds about President Trump though. So, we’ll see how it all turns out. This is a screen capture of a meme that I found insightful. And it’s from @itrustthescience (a name I also found amusing.)
I always come back around the BALANCING though. For my own mental health. Don’t worry, tomorrow’s blog post will be lighter. I think! Haha!
Art class projects from Friday night and Sunday
My daughter and I went to an art class Friday night together and designed another ceramic bowl. She did a small one and gifted me a large bowl for my Christmas present. I chose lapis blue this time. You can’t see the blue yet though, until after it is fired in the kiln. And then Sunday, my son-in-law, daughter, and their twins (our twin granddaughters) went back to the art studio and painted molded ceramics. It was the art studio’s Halloween party, and the owner even dressed us an Axolotl! She went outside and waved at passing vehicles and offered to hand out candy too. Most people smiled at her and honked their horns, but I didn’t see anyone stop for the candy. She danced though! And I thought to myself, “How great is this! She can have fun no matter what”!
