It’s December 10th, 2024; We’ve got a peppy original country song for all you lovebirds today! Making love by the light of your smartphone is sung by the enthusiastic Ron Wallace. This radio-ready pop song was recorded and mixed by the Beaird Music Group of Nashville, TN. https://www.beairdmusicgroup.com
This is the three-hundred-forty-second new music post for 2024! Richard penned this song after getting a bit frustrated by me, always being on my iPhone while in the bed. Tada! We’ve never had one argument (disagreements, yes), in our twenty-plus years together, but he did encourage me (after writing this song) to put my damn phone away when it was time for bed! Ha! Go figure. I told you I’m not perfect. My sleep improved too though–so score! Talk about a win-win.
We got more snow last night
I’ll probably share a few more of these before this winter begins/ends. I’m looking forward to the Winter Solstice too! Ha! I’m in such a good mood today, and yet, it’s shopping day (which means I will have to go out in this just a bit).

Score! My daughter’s most recent painting project
I really love watching my daughter do things she loves to do. She works at our local art studio here in New Hampshire and she put all of the class ‘snow sleds’ together for a recent art class. Here are the photos she posted to Facebook, and then her completed project follows:

Everything happens for a reason and myriad sides to every story
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24! And let’s (are you ready for this?) THRIVE in ’25! or just be… Alive in ’25.
Yours in expanding, coexisting (because there’s more than one-side to every story), spiraling consciousness,

It’s November 29th, 2024; We’ve got an outrageously hot original song for you today! Adam Cunningham puts so much SOUL in this hot new pop song I can’t stand it! It’s a feast for the ears! The saxophone was from the incredible John Heinrich. The music track was recorded originally at Steven Cooper’s Nashville, TN music studio and then remixed later with Adam’s vocals at the Beaird Music Group of Nashville, TN. https://www.beairdmusicgroup.com
This is the three-hundred-thirty-second new music post for 2024! Always “love the one your with” and be thankful, so you don’t have to wish for you love to come back.
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving yesterday, and trust you did as well. There was no talk of politics, but there was talk of aliens/UFO’s, flat earth, and… dinosaurs! Did you know there’s never been even one full complete dinosaur fossil ever recovered??? I feel so deceived–I’ve loved dinosaurs since I was a wee child! UGH, another ‘historical belief’ shattered! Oh, I’m in tatters. (Haha! To quote a Rolling Stones song.)
Our holiday meal and time together yesterday was beautiful and somewhat international too! My son-in-law made his family’s meat stuffing recipe. His mom told us the story about it and that it’s a French recipe that’s been passed down for generations. It is made with beef, ground pork, and a variety of spices. Our eldest granddaughter, Jenn, and one of the twins, Jewel, both adore it and ate gobs of it! All of the rest of us enjoyed it too. But one of the twins, Jaclyn, pretty much only ate macaroni and cheese for her meal. We watched a bit of the NYC Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV, when did they stop calling it the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? Hmmm. Richard told us about the years one of his balloon designs, baby Shamu, had been in the parade. Jenn asked, “What is Shamu?” And I explained it was the first baby Killer whale (Orca) born in captivity at Sea World in Orlando, FL. She had no idea and has never been to Sea World.
My FIRST rotisserie turkey–turned out GREAT! Thankfully! And everyone loved the Southern Baked Beans, Holiday bacon, and cornbread. My carrot dump cake (the mix was from Epicure, a Canadian company) turned out to be moist and delicious too, though mostly my daughter and I ate that–none of the others are that keen on pumpkin. But that’s okay. More for us! Haha! The pumpkin pies were good too, especially the one spiked with bourbon. My banana bread (also from an Epicure mix) was a bit dry–I probably should have used three bananas. But I’m eating it soaked in half and half; tomorrow I’ll make French toast out of it. No one really even touched the two cheese balls and crackers, so I’ve got those to munch on the rest of the week too! Here are a few pictures.
The best part of our day, was that our eldest granddaughter got to enjoy the day at home (she usually goes to her dad’s a couple states away for Thanksgiving), and it SNOWED! So, the twins got in their snow gear and ran out to play–and burn off all that sugar from homemade peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, etc.

We got an inch and a half to two inches of the fluffy white stuff. It sure was pretty! Jaclyn getting ready to come back in the house. –Sheila MurreyI ended the evening with my favorite Irish Whiskey, Paddy’s and real dairy eggnog. I do this at Christmas too! I was sooo thrilled to find Paddy’s here in New Hampshire. No store had it in Florida (I looked!) after I discovered my taste for it when we went to Ireland in 2019. It’s not even a top shelf whiskey, but there’s just something about it that I liked, and we tasted several in Ireland. I had a few favorite scotches while in Scotland. I’m not a big drinker, but I am keen on the flavor of some for special occasions. –Sheila Murrey
