Here’s the one-hundred-nineteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently plug our original songs. Songs that my dear husband wrote over 40 years. Some years he wrote many songs (when he lived alone in Bishop, CA) and some years not as much. But collectively, to write over 400 songs? Well, I agree that’s quite an achievement. And all because he’s such an observer of people and life!

A heart full of music

Richard Murrey has a heart full of music, that’s for sure. And this duet is a splendid example of that. He grew up playing guitar and so did his twin brothers. One of the best moments in our lives was getting Richard, Bill, and Tony together (several years ago) to sit around the house and play. I will treasure the memory of that! To me, it was as good as if we had gone to the Opry. A personal concert!

It’s April 27th, 2024; Here’s an original pop song about the big ones. “I could die playing motorboat” gives you a hint. Here’s the one-hundred-eighteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently show off our big ones. Be sure and listen to the end for the spoken tidbits. I know this song is a lot of tongue-in-cheek (or somewhere else), but it used to be one of the songs I didn’t play much.

Close to the heart

Lots of our songs touch the heart, and this one is sure close to the heart! Ha! And why can’t women simply be happy with what they’ve got?

I created the following meme on Facebook after my 59th Facebook ‘Story’ where women were either baring their breasts or rears. I know each of these people must have had their Facebook account hacked. I can’t believe any regular woman would post such vulgarity. Yes, this might have been me overreacting, but it’s still my opinion. Did I go too far? Ha!

It’s April 26th, 2024; Here’s an original country song about all the stories one hears while sitting at the bar having an adult beverage. Yes, a cocktail can bring the stories out. It happened when I first met Richard. We spent 4 hours exchanging stories at a restaurant bar. Here’s the one-hundred-fifteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently present one of our original songs every day. When we truly feel the sacrifice made for us, as the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) leads, we understand we never walk alone.

Never alone

Yes, I believe what the Bible, prophets, and sages have said for thousands of years, “We never walk alone.” No matter what religion (path) you choose to follow, it seems all are reminding us we are never alone. If not, I don’t know what comfort it can be.

Yes, I believe it’s true that we reap what we sow. By practicing my Integrating the Spirals process, I continue to see the effects of the seasons in both increasing my awareness to see MORE, my ability to sow seeds, and the growth (or forward progress) I am making in life.

April 21st – Gummin’ the Calamari

It’s April 21st, 2024; Here’s an original rock song (with cowbell) as we relax this weekend. It’s on a topic that Richard and I talked about for years. I always thought I’d get dentures–even when I was young! (I always hated my teeth.) This song puts some fun into all of that!

More fun than sex

Here’s the one-hundred-twelfth new music post for 2024, as I consistently bring you piano, guitar, and in this case, cowbell in original songs full of fun and laughter (a lot of the time). Yes, we put all our creative energies into our writing and songwriting! Ha! Take that as you may. We’re always open to receive and ready to for you to interpret our creations as you will.

Interconnectedness

I love the interconnectedness of ALL. And that is the subject of my 5th book that’s currently in progress. To that end, (the book not Consciousness), I watched the replay of a presentation I’d signed up for and then realized I had double-booked myself on Friday.

Emerging Consciousness

I’ve mentioned before how I love it “when a plan comes together.” Likewise, here we are today, after I had an enlightening conversation during my Theosophy book club on Friday, another with my second-cousin on Saturday morning, and then from observing the conversations in my mind after reviewing the IONS presentation this morning!

I won’t go into the full one-hour discourse of the IONS presentation, but here are a few takeaways I understood from it:

  • When the mind studies the Mind
  • Meditation, Philosophy, and Science = The Triune
  • Metaphysics includes: Buddhism, Shamanism, Shaivism, Kabbalah, and Vedanta
  • Metaphysics includes Intuition to reach Knowing (my conclusion)

April 20th – Hip-Hop Redneck

It’s April 20th, 2024; Here’s an original hip-hop rock song as we celebrate the weekend–though it’s all the same for me since I retired. LOL! This song goes out to ALL of you who love the fusion of hip-hop and rock. And I wonder what you’ll think of Richard’s twist on that! Head-buttin’, beer-spewin’, cornbread-eatin’, guitar-pickin’, hip-hop redneck music! Ha!

Here’s the one-hundred-eleventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently heap original songs onto your head–at least I’m doing so one at a time so as not to overwhelm you! Ha! This is a fun song. It’s got jaw-dropping lyrics and side lyrics and sounds to stir some laughter. And maybe, just maybe, you can enjoy hanging out with rednecks. I guess it is an appropriate song for 4/20 too! Ha!

I’m not too much a fan of rap, but ever since Aerosmith and Run DMC redid Walk This Way, I’ve enjoyed hip-hop and rock. And ever since Kid Rock, I’ve enjoyed the fusion of rock and country. I also love Yanni, who brought back my love for orchestral music. I guess I am simply a fan of fusion.

Family ties

It just so happens that we had breakfast this morning with some cousins I’d never met before. so I’m on a cloud! I am so happy, as meeting my cousin, Rosa Lee, was one of my goals and reasons for moving to Ocala (so we could meet after being friends on Facebook for ten years). And she brought her granddaughter with her too (who has hair like me)! Richard and I so enjoyed meeting them. It really brought up the importance of Family to me and how much alike we are. I mention this too, because Rose Lee gave me some more information on my grandmother (and pictures), and that one of my aunts may have become a nurse after caring for my grandmother after she had a stroke when I was young.

Enjoying the time

I think the older I get the more I love to think about what my grandparents lived through, The Great Depression, living without electricity, living without indoor plumbing, growing their own food, and raising it too (Rosa Lee remembered the rooster my grandparents had and how mean it was). I came home and saw a Facebook post from my daughter about the glass mushroom she made at her art studio and also some broken glass art. I then thought of my mom and how much she loved mosaics. And now, we’re full circle, aren’t we? Everything happens for a reason. And we are all given life to enjoy the time.

April 19th – Heavy with Child rocks Live!

It’s April 19th, 2024; Here’s an original hard rock song as we roll into the weekend. For those of you who love rock, and prefer the Live production sound, this one’s for you! Richard’s band, The Righteous Buds, who performed around Brevard County, Florida for about ten years (late 1990s to mid 2000s), and this tune was one of their original crowd pleasers.

Aligns with what we’re watching

Here’s the one-hundred-tenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently lay out one of our original songs to the masses. I am always amused when one of the music videos I pick to share pops up in alignment with a show we’re watching. In this case, this video follows the one I shared yesterday (in the sequence of videos on Richard’s YouTube channel), and aligns with the episodes we’re watching of seasons 4 and 5 of Weeds where the protagonist, Nancy Botwin, is with child.

Biology

I find Biology sooo very interesting. I probably would have gone into nursing (as I had several nurses as role models in our family, and even younger cousins who became nurses), but I strongly disliked the sight and smells of blood, puke, and other bodily excretions. UGH! I was even named after my mom’s delivery nurse! So, yes, I give all my nurse friends kudos for handling all of that for sure! I had two children so I totally understand how grateful my mom was to nurse Sheila for helping get me out of her. (I love you, Mom!)

The reason I bring up Biology and my interest in it is that there are a lot of jobs that deal with Biology other than nursing, and I think I would have been GREAT at some of these:

  • Academic/Medical Researcher (or some kind of Health Archeologist)
  • Health Writer (Oh, I guess I have done that! I wrote a 200+ page holistic health book)
  • Lecturer/Teacher/Professor
  • Find more here.

Digging in

I love digging in the dirt, both literally and metaphorically. I love digging for evidence of natural healing or healing via alternative methods. I geek out while listening to NES Health presentations (like the one I attended yesterday with Dr. Zulia – here’s a link to their Instagram ad for the webinar. If you’d like to register on the NES Health site, you can watch the replay). I also geek out on lectures by Dr. Zach Bush (he talks a lot about birthing babies and sitting with the dying, as well as the health of soil) and conference proceedings from doctors Joe Dispenza and Bruce Lipton. Here’s a snip from one of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s talks (meditation always draws me IN!):

I love to read about the complex inner workings of our selves (mind, body, spirit, and soul). I love us on ALL levels. We’re so multidimensional and fractal. Ah!

Can’t stop thinking about you

Here’s the one-hundred-ninth new music post for 2024, as I consistently share one of our original songs to excite or entertain everyone. We can’t stop thinking about you. It’s like we share a certain chemistry! Ha! We appreciate your taking a few minutes to listen! We know time is the most precious gift we have in life.

Chemistry

Is everything in the material world about Chemistry? I recall a song that had a line something about “the chemistry between us.” I liked the song simply for that one lyric. I think it expanded my consciousness!

It would be many years since hearing that song before I discovered Epigenetics. (Thanks to Dr. Bruce Lipton). But first, I heard about how the body is made of Light and began researching photons for healing.

The more you think positive thoughts about your body image, about the interconnectedness and communication between your body’s 50-70 TRILLION cells, the better your health. And yes, I can take this from the realm of WOO WOO to actual Science. You simply have to apply the same logic to the study of Epigenetics as you do from transforming bio-physics to bio-chemistry.

This is where I show you the mechanism behind the statement, though it does get a bit geeky and is more textbook than I usually offer:

This is where I am tempted to go into more detail about how I use Photonic Light as therapy for many physical issues, but I’ll just link to the site where I bought my Photonic Health 660nm red light (which I shine up my nose, in my ears, and on my head and neck often). Filling our time and space with positive connections keeps me excited (and healthy)! And no matter what happens in our external, I am happy. I know it’s my CHOICE to stay in my happy mode. Ha! The countdown is on! We move in 12 DAYS!

April 17th – Hey there buddy

It’s April 17th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song to get us in the groove. Back to the music studio demos. This one turned out really well though, right? I think it’s got a great groove, but of course, I am biased.

This is your conscience knocking

Here’s the one-hundred-eighth new music post for 2024, as I consistently present one of our original songs to expand your consciousness or in this case, speak to your conscience. And of course, we love to have fun while we’re at it. Do you feel it in your conscience when you do something wrong?

Sensing another’s energy

I just met a friend for breakfast (we’ve been Facebook friends for 10 years and had never met in person, though we’ve been to a lot of the same events and places in and around the St. Petersburg, Florida area). I also had furniture movers come to take our large pieces for consignment. Today has been a busy day already, but even with all that busyness, I always look people in the eyes and get a sense of their energy. My friend and I had a wonderful conversation over breakfast and a big hug before parting. Then back at the apartment, Richard and I had a good exchange and conversation with the consignment store furniture moving guys.

I have learned a lot in the last 20 years about how to sense energy and how important it is. The bonus for me is feeling my GodBumps too! Yippee! Since childhood, I have had a strong sense of my own conscience, which kept me from doing much wrong, but I got walked on a LOT! I always seemed to have people gossip behind my back, so this Facebook post from my bestie was so on point! Wouldn’t it be great to have friends pray for us (for the most benevolent outcome, highest and best), instead of trying to tear us down?

I’m also thrilled when I learn my lesson (usually after having to experience something multiple times), and then I can say I’m the cycle breaker! Ha! I’m glad I can “walk on” (walk away) from people, places, or things that are not for my best.
