Here’s the two-hundred-eighty-fourth new music post for 2024, as I consistently lend you my husband’s heart in songs he penned years ago.

I love giants

Shout out to the filmmakers who put this documentary together on Giants. We watched this the other evening, as I love digging into this kind of stuff. Recall my former post about Newgrange and how I got the download that some or all of the megalithic stones there had actually been giants (Read my former post: https://sheilamurrey.net/2023/09/16/georgia-white-marble-stones-similar-to-newgrange/)! I continue to feel that way–even after watching documentaries like, A Race of Giants. It’s a lot easier for people to move a dead giants body around than stones of that magnitude (in my opinion and guess-estimation). And then the bodies turn into stone over the years. What do you think?

I love to read too, though I am slow

I’ll review it when I’m finished, as it’s a novel and wouldn’t be fair to review it before I’ve reached the end of the story. This Tucker interview of Harmeet Dhillon was eye-opening about Kamala Harris. Well, some might say it’s “damning.” Yep. I really didn’t know much about Kamala. I think most people are only voting for her because they hate Trump. They are voting for the party, not FOR her. At least I can’t imagine anyone voting for her after they watch THIS!

Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Bubba Hudson is back on vocals to sing of a post-apocalyptic story from a son’s perspective to his dad. A fitting song for what I’ll be talking about later in this post. This is a radio-ready song that one might say, offers a solemn warning, but Mother Nature shall recover. I bought a couple of books today

He Was Weird by Michael D. LeFevre

Typically, I buy Kindle books, but Michael and I have been reading each other’s blogs (link to 80smetalman blog on WordPress) for quit a while; Michael writes a lot of music posts. Michael wrote the book, He Was Weird, about bullying. A subject that hits home for me, as I was bullied as a child. I have wanted to read this book for a while but kept putting it on the back burner (I have quite a few books I’m in the process of reading right now).

I ordered the paperback of He Was Weird today though, and will hand it down to my granddaughters when I’m done. I want to share it with them in hopes that it will help them understand that boys can get bullied too and how they might deal with it, or cope, should they meet someone in Michael’s shoes one day. I think every book helps us understand the world better. I am looking forward to receiving this paperback. I love connecting with other bloggers on WordPress and supporting each other as we write and market our books.

GOD in a backpack YOU

I met Lucia Herger a couple of weeks ago in the Be Awesome Network on Facebook (Interview #88). I knew right away that we ‘clicked’ and were ‘birds of a feather.’ So, I reached out to her for a Zoom call. It took us a few days to actually connect though, due to our schedules, and time zone difference, not to mention, tech challenges. Ha! Good old Technology. We love it, we hate it, but thankfully, it brings people together!

Lucia talks a LOT about how we’re all living in Paradis today, well, as she says, we’re living in Heaven on Earth. So, as I said earlier, it was fitting I speak about her book today, since I’m sharing our ‘Paradise today’ song.

Lucia and I both have a love for Omnipresent GOD and love talking about on this expanding and voluminous topic! I’m thrilled to support her by ordering her book, GOD in a backpack You.
