May 25th – At a loss for words

It’s May 25th, 2024; Here’s an original jazzy pop song about finding yourself at a loss for words. This original song features swinging guitar, jazzy piano, and hot saxophone riffs! Bubba Hudson’s vocals add to this vibrant professional mix by Steven Cooper at his music studio in Nashville, TN.

No words

Here’s the one-hundred-forty-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently trek forward in offering one of our original songs for your listening enjoyment each day this year.

And now, I’m finding myself at a loss for words! Unbeknownst to us, my son got married last night. I mean, he’d told me about meeting his new gal and being serious about her, but wow! It’s his birthday tomorrow, so I guess he gave himself the best birthday present!

My daughter, husband, and son-in-law’s mom had all left early this morning to attend our eldest granddaughter’s dance recital and as soon as we walked back in the door our son-in-law announced that my son had gotten married! He’d seen it on Facebook! Ha! What do you know? We’re happy he’s making a life for himself in North Carolina, but it was still a shock.

Dancing queen

Meanwhile, our eldest granddaughter was such a dancing queen this morning–and she goes back for a 5:00 pm performance again today too! We were beaming with joy for her and her school friends. They all did such an aWEsOMe job! We were not allowed to video it, and though I got some photos, I’ll have to come back and make an update once I figure out the best ones to share.

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. We can ALL find a reason to enjoy the dance of life, even when we find ourselves at a loss for words.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. May we all soar in ’24!

Yours in expanding, dancing, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

April 15th – F.Y.I. love you

It’s April 15th, 2024; Here’s an original jazzy rock love song. This is a love song with punches from the saxophone from John Heinrich to add flair and interest, vocals by Bubba Hudson, and all sweetly mixed in Steven Cooper’s Nashville, TN music studio. This is a fun song that puts the singer (as the ‘I’) into the acronym F.Y.I. while singing to extend his love to the listener.

F.Y.I.

Here’s the one-hundred-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently pull an original song from Richard’s library of originally penned rock, country, blues, and Christian songs. Fun fact F.Y.I. (as in For Your Information), the music behind this song is also the soundtrack to another one of our songs, the one I wrote the lyrics to called, First Friends.

While listening to this song, I was taken back to a time in my life when I began meditating upon the word, Love, and uncovering truths I felt Jesus was trying to teach us, like how to love ourselves by shaking the dust off the bottom of our shoes after visiting with people who do not want to listen to what we have to offer.

Love can mean different things

A lot of my writing comes from chats I have with folks on social media. Some of my comments may sound harsh or brass when read out of context, but I offer screen captures of my words in the hopes that my take on certain subjects may help others.

Screen capture: My comment on Facebook to someone about loving our enemies. “I know the road is narrow for those of us who strive to LOVE during all times. Each of us and each of the choices we make, indeed flow into the WHOLE.” –Sheila Murrey

I wish the English language had as many different words for Love as we humans experience it. To illustrate a bit of the point I am attempting to make, check out this screen capture from Michelle Price on “When a narcissist says “I love you”:

Meme: Love by a narcissist. — Author Unknown but shared on Facebook by Michelle Price on Healing World.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time.

May we all soar in ’24! Here’s to loving ALL, and living FREE!

Yours in expanding, allowing what is, spiraling consciousness,
