July 15th – The last revolution

It’s July 15th, 2024; We have an original rock anthem song about waking the human mind. Bubba Hudson sings this timely song. And Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN provides the pro demo. Sometimes we wonder if life imitates art, or if art imitates life. When I watched the video made for this song, I take note of the scenes that align with stuff that’s happened recently. Ah, the world revolves, so why shouldn’t all else circle back around? 

Using up every resource

Here’s the one-hundred-ninety-seventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently share our hot new music to expand your consciousness and feed your soul. We’ve been querying different sources to assess every angle of the attempted assassination of former President Trump. No matter how it happened, was allowed to happen, or setup, one thing is sure–it heightens awareness of the upcoming Presidential election like few others.

Wrapping our heads around

It’s hard to wrap one’s head around all the violent situations occurring in our world. I know it’s easier to simply turn a blind eye to it all. In fact, I have shook up many on Facebook when I post things about Fauci, the emergency medical intervention, UFO’s, and such. I know and understand that waking up is hard to do. And I don’t know if becoming awake and aware will change anything! It all seems so much larger than life. It does seem to me that something bigger than ourselves is ‘pulling all the strings’–politically, financially, and so on.

We watched President Biden address the nation regarding the assassination attempt on former President Trump (via this YouTube with Candace Owens), where he spoke of our nation needing to unify.

Come together

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. The Beatles sang it best in the song, Come Together.

As I have taught about the rainbow, each distinct color within the visible spectrum is unique but blends at the edges to form the overall appearance of a rainbow. As does the rainbow, each of us can band together to form an alliance–if we desire it and agree. But what will we agree on? If we stand together, we are stronger, but perhaps we fear that a ‘mob rule’ mentality will leave out those on the margins? Is it possible to be inclusive when so many issues fractionalize us?

July 14th – More than the blues

It’s July 14th, 2024; We have an original blues jazz song about having the blues. Bubba Hudson does a supreme job on the vocals in this poppy song; powerful saxophone riffs from John Heinrich bring this song alive! And of course, everything was expertly mixed at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN. 

Black and blues

Here’s the one-hundred-ninety-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently pump out hot new music to expand your mind and feel your soul. While this was the next song in my lineup to share I know it doesn’t speak to what happened in the USA last night. Thus, I’ll share a more appropriate song tomorrow regarding the news. We abhor the attempted assassination of former President Trump and have been glued to all the YouTube videos regarding this horrid act of violence.

Becoming aware of imbalances

Just as we see displays of hate and violence as a form of imbalance in our nation, a lot of people suffer from a gut imbalance of acid and enzymes. Here’s an old chart on food combining I bought when Richard and I were raw vegans (years ago, which is why it’s so faded), but understand it’s a complex read. I will say that we’ve not been following any specific diet (other than low sodium) for several months, and I’ve regained the weight I lost the year before when I adhered to the WildFit program. I know WildFit helped me rebuild my gut microbiome. I do recommend WildFit, but know it’s not sustainable for some.

I’m back to controlling my portions and combinations of certain foods to enhance my stomach acid, enzyme, and such since (for the first time in my life), I’ve begun taking antacids for indigestion. The heartburn and indigestion I’ve experienced, made me sit up and take notice of my diet again. I don’t want to live on those antacids.

Similar to dieting, you can do what you want (eat what you want), but it’s the combinations that may not work for your body. Balancing emotions

Anger is part of the human emotional experience, but finding healthy ways to let off steam is key. Never allow your emotions to drive you to commit unthinkable acts of violence. Take control of your emotions and make your mind your ally. It’s July 12th, 2024; We have an original rock song when one needs a smack on the rear. My mom used to say this, “I’m gonna smack your ass” when my children used to try her patience. But Richard wrote this song years before meeting me and hearing those stories. That’s just what I recall whenever I hear this song! The way it goes

It’s funny how it goes, if one’s expecting something and then acts too big for their britches, eh? As this song says, if someone thinks they’ve got it all going on, but never say Thank You, perhaps they oughta have their ass smacked–at least that’s what parent’s used to do. Of course any reaction (as in punishing children or pets) can produce unwanted outcomes too–we won’t get into that here though.

Preferring what is

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. I stopped using corporeal punishment on my children when they turned thirteen years of age. It didn’t work anyway and produced unwanted outcomes. I began to learn then, that it wasn’t up to me to change anyone. If I couldn’t reason with my children, or anyone, or compromise, I’d leave. Of course leaving, often brought its own share of miseries along with it, but I was headstrong and determined to live in peace.

It’s so hot outside now, we’ve had to ask our son-in-law, Mike, to bring us a portable AC unit! Who knew it could be hotter in New England than in North Carolina (where my son lives), but yes, that’s what is happening here.

I may envision myself a spiritual guru sometimes, but most of the time, I’m still human and grumble. Haha! Don’t worry, I’ll keep doing my breath work and wring out some enjoyment (hot or not outside) as I know the snow will be flying before I know it! LOL

Resonating with story songs

Here’s the one-hundred-ninety-second new music post for 2024, as I continue to push out a new original song day after day–and stay consistent.

I hear many songs that offer hope, resilience, and encouragement. Most songs instantly upgrade my mood! As an empath, I easily resonate with the lyrics of songs and think about the times in my life that I’ve lived the lyrics. Has that ever happened to you? Or do you just listen to the music of a song and ignore the lyrics–unless something provocative catches your attention?

Lyrics tell a tale

Sometimes it’s not the lyrics that ‘get me.’ Sometimes I am simply moved by the creative force that runs alongside/through the song. For example, I love the way Michael Jackson performed the song, Billie Jean, though the lyrics never impressed me. I’m all for ambiguity but a song has to make sense to me, if it doesn’t, the music might hook me but I wouldn’t buy the record (or download). I don’t want to work too hard to figure out the meaning of the song.

Happy birthday to my daddy

Happy earthly birthday to my papa in the Grand Beyond. I’ll be thinking of my dad all day today. And not that I don’t think of him every day, but today was his birthday, so I am especially missing being able to talk to him. I’m glad I saved some voicemails, so I can still hear his voice! I’m also feeling very blessed that I had my dad on this earth for nearly 80 years! Not everyone knows their dad or has a dad in their life that long. So yes, I am grateful. I can still sit in the memory of my last visit with my daddy and recall the years of hard work that showed on his hands. Here’s my dad’s eulogy.

It’s July 9th, 2024; We have an original swingin’ rock song about love’s crazy ways. We’ve got twelve steps for relationships that have run aground. The first version of this song offers a rockin’ mix that includes some bluesy violin and a singer who gets the job done–with a deep, smooth voice; a wild pro demo from Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN. 

Stories of despair

Here’s the one-hundred-ninety-first new music post for 2024, as I continue to impress you with a new original song every day this year–and meet my consistency challenge!

This song speaks about stories of despair without sharing any. The lyrics encourage the lonely, er, lost hearts, to meet once a week and commiserate, one with another, to heal their loneliness–albeit trading one source of misery for another if taken too far. But everyone has their own way of coping, I suppose.

This upbeat song gives us a new way of looking at ‘getting beyond’ (or getting over) relationship breakups or the bad memories of previous marriages.

Two versions

Sometimes we feel a remake of our songs is in order to put a new voice on a song, rewrite a few of the lyrics, or just get a fresh sound in order to sell the song to a film or TV show. But you can listen to both and let us know which version you think is more marketable in the commercial space.

July 8th – More than a friend

It’s July 8th, 2024; We have an original traditional country music song about finding someone who’s more than a friend. How many of you have wanted to find true love? You’re not alone–I think most people want to be in love with their true love or soul mate. This is a traditional country mix with a singer who reminds me of Dwight Yoakam. And again, this is a pro demo from Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN. 

To start off our week

Here’s the one-hundred-ninetieth new music post for 2024, as I continue to trek along on putting out one new original song for you, each day this year–and feel good about being consistent!

I know I’m putting this out a bit later in the day than usual, but I slept in and then went outside to sit with my daughter and the twins (while the twins played in their kiddie pools). I love the dry air here in New England. Heck, I just love saying New England! Ha!

My daughter usually works on Mondays, so I have enjoyed her being home last Monday and then again, today! We’ll go out to the store in a bit too, which will be refreshing. We are making up for lost time (if one can ever really do that).

Give Time, time

Speaking of making up for lost time, I found this old Facebook post of mine from 2017; It gives you an idea of what my mindset was back then. I have always desired to be closer to my daughter and granddaughters, since she had the first baby, and now, yes, it feels like a dream come true to be here, even though the reason was to be able to help us as we age (and after Richard experienced a stroke in Oct. 2022). So, here we are, and I feel so settled.

My comment: To help ease my mind… when I had been looking for a monthly AirBnB rental (an example of my desire to be able to visit my daughter and granddaughters more, never thinking we’d actually move to New England but happy that we did). — Sheila Murrey (2017)

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. My children have always been my heart, but thankfully, even after two failed marriages, I had more room in my heart to love my soul mate, Richard.

July 7th – Next to last call

It’s July 7th, 2024; We have an original country music song for ALL. We’re winding down from celebrating my daughter’s 44th birthday yesterday. No hangover, but I bet if we’d opened that bottle of Prosecco after having liquor (mixed or straight). This is a great country mix from Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN. 

My girl

Here’s the one-hundred-eighty-ninth new music post for 2024, as I consistently blast out new releases daily. New music stimulates our minds and bodies. We listened to some new songs yesterday; I found it interesting how many ways one could apply lyrics about ‘my girl’ to family or friends. I love songs that can apply to different circumstances and scenarios.

Yesterday, I watched our twin granddaughters play video games as my daughter and son-in-law assembled the new bed my daughter ordered. Later, we had pizza delivered (YUM) and enjoyed watching YouTube and a movie on the big screen (Our son-in-law has a pull-down screen and projector system).

When I wrote yesterday’s blog (and Facebook post) for my daughter, I realized just how few photos I have of her by herself. I have lots of pictures of my daughter with her girls; I’ve also got many pictures of my daughter with me and in family photos. I wanted yesterday to be all about her, but (at least in photos I have) she’s typically always with someone. Case in point, my son-in-law’s mom even took a picture of us at the lake the other day. I had to laugh when I saw it because my daughter and I looked like “two peas in a pod” the way we were standing (hands on hips, same body language, etc.)–and neither of us realized it at the time. 

Time changes things but also circles back

My girl always loved the water. My parents began by taking her to the river. And a few years later, I took her (and my son) to the beach in Florida. We’ve had our differences, as probably all mothers and daughters do (I failed her at times; she rebelled too–as we’re each very independent/stubborn at times). But now? I’m so thankful we were open and willing to heal any/all emotional wounds and grow closer again. My daughter (and her girls) are my heart! And now, I know how my mom felt.

I’ve always loved the balance water brings. We can float on it, swim in it, drink it, and clean with it. Water. The ever present equalizer.

I can’t believe my daughter is 44! What a life it’s been! I never thought I could even get through childbirth, much less raise my daughter and son to enjoy the fruits of my labor. My daughter and her three girls are precious to me. While I want this day to be all about her, it seems we’re inextricably Connected. We are family!

July 5th – Party of one

It’s July 5th, 2024; We have an original slow country song for you today as we wind down from the Fourth of July activities. Thank God it’s Friday, too, for many of you (though we are retired). When you listen to this song, remember We Are All Connected and thus never really alone. The radio-ready original country song was inspired by Richard’s musical partner, Roy Hood, during the years they performed Live in Bishop, CA. A smooth and soulful production mix comes from Steven Cooper in Nashville, TN. 

Even when you’re alone

Here’s the one-hundred-eighty-seventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently share heartfelt new music for listening ears. Even dining alone becomes an enjoyable experience when you realize that simply looking at someone, smiling, or speaking to them can uncover hidden treasures from making a new connection.

Why do people fear being alone? Years ago, I was told that loneliness is not a lack of people but a lack of purpose, and I’ve found truth within that statement. A dear friend told me once that you ‘can’t kiss a memory’ after his beloved wife passed away (crossed over to the Grand Beyond). After sitting with his comment for several days, I began to understand why that feels true. As humans, we adore and often crave the human touch. And there are biological reasons for this (though it works both ways, for good or not). So, make a new connection–either for a hug or more!

Remember that most humans do not come close to processing ALL the frequencies that abound around us. Oh, and also, words can touch someone’s heart (as I wrote in this response to someone (named Lee) after they shared a gut-wrenching experience):

I’d rather be alone than with the wrong person, but I will say that the wrong people have also been some of the best teachers in my life–teaching me how NOT to treat others.

Our glory is losing respect

Here’s the one-hundred-eighty-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently showcase new music to educate and entertain you. This one is an anthem! If you’re not happy with the way our country is going, the good old USA has sure enjoyed better times–then as the song says, it’s time to clean house and elect new leaders.

Why is it so difficult for people to respect this country? Maybe because our leaders have failed us over the last fifty years or so!

Meme: We are living in an age where a meme, a hashtag, or a short YouTube video can contain more wisdom, knowledge, and truth that an entire K-12 Rockefeller funded, state sanctioned indoctrination system. Dim the lights and open your eye. The show is just beginning. –Unknown

Information overload or Information overlord?

It never fails to amaze me the distance between ‘information overload’ and ‘information overlord’ is! Don’t censor me. Don’t tread on me. My body, my choice still applies, especially when it comes to sticking a needle in my arm. I prefer acupuncture (and all other natural health alternatives) any day!
