Integrating the Spirals: NEW Drawing with oil pastels!

I got aggravated with my fountain pen the other day and jumped on Amazon to order some oil pastels and sketch pad to continue drawing and sketching without the mess of a pen that leaks ink all over my hand. And yes, I probably did something wrong with the pen that caused it, but for less than $20 I have easier tools to work with. Thus, I’ll probably sketch MORE! And isn’t that what we want? More doing and less aggravation? Yes!

My friend, Linda Lewis from Arkansas, who now lives in Thailand got me started drawing/sketching) as a new hobby, and I’m really enjoying it! See Linda’s painted sketches over at her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com

Sketch of the girl (Linda’s model I sketched with fountain pen earlier); I’m not very happy with it, but this is from memory using the oil pastels. I will improve! –Sheila Murrey

I’ll post another update on Tuesday or Wednesday to let you know what the chiropractor says about my two toes. I continue to do fascia blasting, and massage with essential oil (Balance from DoTerra), as well as use acupressure and red light therapy on it, and a bit of feeling is coming back. I also do heel raises (sometimes called, toe raises or ankle raises), and that may be helping as well.

That’s what I teach in Integrating the Spirals. Use what you know, and integrate the various techniques into your day. I think it’s easy, but some people need to talk this stuff through, and that’s why I offer Zoom sessions. More to come on that, but if you’d like to begin right away, let me know in the comments.

Integrating the Spirals – JIGGLE WIGGLE

I’ve rebranded JIGGLE BUTT to JIGGLE WIGGLE per one of my followers comment!

I’m now encouraging those “over 50” to open to lifelong learning (observe, gently question, and loosen up their pre-conceived beliefs, aka ‘Programming’), become more aware of their thoughts and emotions to encourage more ease, loosen up and move their bodies (too many are stuck in their heads and physically unhealthy), become strong, and resilient in spirit, soul, mind, body. And to question EVERYTHING!

Integrating the Spirals: More Drawings

As I wrote previously, my friend, Linda Lewis from Arkansas, but now lives in Thailand has gotten me started drawing (or sketching). Linda’s much better version of this first sketch can be seen on her blog at: https://creativeartworksblog.com/2026/03/08/sunday-3-8-2026/

I colored this in a bit after I completed my second drawing, which is next. And I used my fountain pen to draw all of these next images and markers to add the color:

I don’t know how much more dancing I’ll be doing because now, I have an issue with two of my toes on my left foot. I don’t know if chiropractic will resolve it or not, but I am thinking it’s all due to the sciatica issue in my lower back. I checked on AI and have had several good comments about what it might be (from friends on Facebook), but I will go to see a podiatrist if the chiropractor can’t help it. It has me a bit concerned.

I must tell you that my dear husband has tried to take my mind off my foot by finding some intriguing movies for us to watch lately. Here are a couple of the best ones if you’re looking for something different:

The Life of Chuck:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12908150/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_7_nm_0_in_1_q_life%20of%20

Cult Killer:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21151212/?ref_=fn_t_1

I can’t say too much without giving away the plots. But The Life of Chuck still has me thinking about it, all the little pieces that fit together, days later. It’s a Stephen King story, so there’s that. It’s very well written though in the beginning I was scratching my head because it begins with Act III. But I was crying by the end. It’s going to go down as being one of my favorite movies, if for no other reason than the dancing. You’ll see.

And Cult Killer is very timely with what’s been going on related to the Epstein Files. It stars Antonio Banderas, and that’s reason enough to give it a watch. I think it could have had a better name, but if you watch it, let me know in the comments what other name they could have given it.

My book comes out in paperback form in 2 DAYS, and yes, I’m very excited about that! I hope it does well. I would really like to pay off my credit card. Here’s the link.

December 1st – Call me your lover

It’s December 1st, 2024; We’ve got a grand original rock song for you on this first day of the last month of the year! This song was inspired by Richard’s alter ego many years ago. (I think he wrote this while he was living in Bishop, CA.) Call me your lover is sung by the fabulous Bubba Hudson and recorded at Steven Cooper’s Nashville, TN music studio.

This is the three-hundred-thirty-fourth new music post for 2024! At least a few of the lyrics reminded Richard of our favorite TV show, Game of Thrones. So, Richard created a good many Photoshop images to create a visually-stunning music video from Game of Thrones. Enjoy!

Call me your lover. Music, lyrics, and music video with original Photoshop images by Richard Murrey.

The carrot for me to get Richard to go on the Sacred Celtic Journey with me in 2019, was to get tickets to a Game of Thrones day tour (hike) on our first full day in Ireland. Here’s my post about that: https://sheilamurrey.net/2019/12/03/game-of-thrones-tour-dublin-ireland-winterfell/

No, it really didn’t take me buying us that tour for Richard to go with me. He loved nearly every minute of it, and had wanted to go (sort of at the last minute), after my dad passed away and Richard didn’t want me to ‘go alone.’ I wouldn’t have been alone though. I was going on the Sacred Celtic 13-day Journey with Patricia McGivern and friends from Florida. But someone cancelled and Patricia let us know, so everything just fell into place for Richard to go with me. (For my blogs about that journey, which ended up being my longest vacation ever, read part 1: Ireland, part 2: England, and part 3: Scotland.

Just when you couldn’t believe how talented Richard is…

Everything happens for a reason

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24! And let’s (are you ready for this?) THRIVE in ’25! or just be… Alive in ’25.

Yours in expanding, coexisting, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey
