Thoughts on Limitless Creator Source God Divine Infinite Intelligence

I attended a Mind Body Spirit expo in Sarasota and met a Tibetan Monk who studied under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (you may have heard of him, as he’s written many books).

I was drawn to the monks’ energy, presence, and humility. I attended his talk, which was well received. And I bought two of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s CDs, so I could listen and discover new and deeper spiritual understandings.

I bought, “Eight Steps to Happiness” and “How to Solve Our Human Problems” and I have finally, completed my study of each set. Then, for Christmas, I gave my son and daughter-in-law the “Eight Steps…” and my dad the “…Human Problems” CDs. For more information about the monk I met, and where he practices, visit the Kadampa Meditation Center here.

I watched the movie Grounded, and gave several copies of it away too! (Click on the word Grounded to watch it on YouTube). The importance of earthing and grounding really resonate with me, not just for health and vitality, but to honestly connect with our Earth too! Nature can explain our Limitless Creator Source so beautifully, even so a child can understand.

I went to a special meeting at the Dao temple. At the time, I felt disconcerted about the stealthy way I had been invited. I had not been given much information with which to make an educated decision about going. Had I not been in my head so much, questioning everything, I may have simply relaxed, appreciated, and enjoyed the service more.

I prefer to know a little bit about a religion / faith before attending, bowing, or worshiping.

I was told the Daoist ceremony was only a ceremonial blessing (receiving Dao), however I came away with a birth certificate!

As I feel our Limitless Creator Source is in all and through all–thus, can pervade any tradition or affiliation, I can always enjoy and stay open to receive all the good things of God and not judge them, versus people who find it difficult to attend other faiths because they are locked into one way.

Spiral thought: I invited a friend (who is an Energy Medicine doc) to attend the Dao ceremony with me at Shien Deh Temple and she had not known the temple was there (about 45 minutes to an hour drive from where she lived)! She was sooo excited to come to know of it, and shocked really, to learn of it through me! ❤️🦋🌀🙏☯️

What is really going on?

All any of us are really doing is ascribing human attributes onto a Creator we cannot (yet, if ever) fully understand.

How does a Buddhist monk, the natural practice of Grounding, and a Daoist ceremony tie together?

These are just a few of the new experiences I’ve had, which bolster my belief that God is vast and expansive. Much too vast for humans with limited intellect to comprehend.

I am all about Connecting to an Ever-Living Limitless God, who will use Buddha, Jesus Christ, or my dog (yes well sort of, whatever it takes) to reach us, to meet people “where they are” and bring them back to knowing their true essence, “who they really are.” I do not believe there is only ONE way. I have never believed that. I have never condemned another based on a religious belief.

Hedging my bets?

Some might say that I hedged my spiritual bets years ago by being “saved” or “born again,” because I was baptized twice (one of those times in the ocean–it was beautiful, and once in church), and now, blessed with a birth certificate from the Dao temple.

Connecting

I believe we all have the ability to know, and connect with our Source, and in our quiet moments, Creator can speak to us–and we can FEEL it. This is the reason I love meditation.

I don’t feel that any one person’s Connection to the Divine, or Infinite Intelligence is stronger than anyone else’s CAN be (with much mindfulness and meditation / prayer / acknowledging Spirit), though with practice, the person may connect quicker. But the invitation is the same for ALL. As we are ALL children of the Limitless Omni-Everything Creator.

Everything is Energy

Each of us pulsate Source Energy at different frequencies. And Everything in the universe vibrates–yes, all physical atoms are vortices of energy, constantly spinning/vibrating, each emanating a unique energy signature. (Read any physics books by Niels Bohr.)

Limiting religions

I have intimately struggled with so-called “religious beliefs” because of my RLDS upbringing, Native American ancestry (my mother and my maternal grandmother had healing gifts), and close Baptist friend I sang with (in different churches) when we were young.

  • I believe our bodies are our temple and we do not need a church or temple building in which to come to know or worship God
  • I do not believe in dogma, it can be a guide but can also be misused if taken too seriously or followed rigidly
  • I do not believe in statues or icons (but open to understand they may be used as a reminder)
  • I know books translated into many languages can have errors and that words do not always convey intentions or the intended thoughts
  • I think killing people (especially in the name of any religion) is ludicrous, immoral, and irreverent

I have written about my beliefs along the way, but I don’t think I’ve ever written it out quite this cut and dry before.

I do believe God has a GREAT sense of humor and most of us (definitely me) take ourselves way too seriously! No one has the Mind of God.

I think Omni-potent God created us to show himself without ego. If God showed us himself He would be in EGO.

Think of it this way, I wrote a book and it has a picture of me on the back cover. In that photo, I am showing you my ego self, as the author. If instead, I show you only the front cover of the book (of what I created), I am not in ego, I am just celebrating my creation!

God celebrates His creation of each of us – everyday!

Standards

So, I tend to hold teachers, preachers, evangelists, and the like to a higher standard, because I hold myself in such a place of integrity (because of my beliefs of our Limitless Omniscient Source). However, this year, I’ve learned that because I hold myself to such a high standard/integrity, it very well might be a limiting belief, and causes me to feel bad when others let me down.

Why do I feel people should be perfect?

Why put anyone on a pedestal?

I’ve said many times, “Christians should be held to a higher standard.” And every time I’ve felt that way, it’s caused me to feel bad, anxious, irritated, frustrated, angry, etc.

I choose to let go of that limiting belief.

Letting go to feel better

Now, I replace thoughts about someone’s lack of “integrity,” with thoughts like, “everyone is doing the best they can” and “nobody’s perfect,” so I can radiate compassion, unconditional love, and bloom in the knowing that we are ALL “God’s children.”

Ah, that feels so much better! And my only job is to reach for these kinds of better feeling thoughts, in any moment of the day, when I begin to judge someone’s vibes, facial features, body language, words, tone, or actions.

Beautiful.

Why I meditate daily

Time for meditation

The day after Beau (our beloved 14 year old male Shih-Tzu) crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I realized our morning walk (when I’d do my walking meditation) could become my regular sitting meditation practice time. I knew I could honor Beau (during my meditation time) by sitting with a blanket in the spot where he had made his transition to the “beyond”. Also, I could place the two small stuffed animals (my loving husband had given me years ago) near me, to sort of represent our kids with fur, Beau and Lou-Lou. Two little stuffed representatives to comfort me somehow.

Why meditate?

  • To center oneself emotionally, mentally, and spiritually within your being
  • To nurture self and enhance well-being
  • To take note of thoughts
  • To expand the space between thoughts – which sharpens one’s focus over time and makes the mind serviceable
  • To allow self to connect with God – our LIMITLESS Ever-Living Filling-All-Space Creator. (More about that connection here.)

My meditation time is priceless to me.

Meditation class

After taking structured meditation classes, I realize that I’ve always meditated, just not in any structured way. I have learned methods from Dr. Alison J. Kay and a MeetUp group, and I continue to learn. A couple of weeks into my new sitting meditation routine, I visited Alania Starhawk’s crystal shop and studio in Largo, FL (Alania also runs a MeetUp group) and I was drawn to two wonderful “sister” crystals, which I brought home and proceeded to incorporate into my meditation seating arrangement.

Beginning to meditate

When I begin my actual meditation, I set a timer next to me (UPDATE: I was right, after two months, I did not need the timer).

I settle and relax my body into a comfortable position with my legs crossed. I envision the light from the sister crystal next to my left foot, entering my body in a spiral fashion, clicking into place all of the gears or points of connection on each chakra wheel (beginning with the root/red chakra, sacral/orange, solar plexus/yellow (always visualizing a sun rise), up into the heart/green chakra (where everything grows from the sun and filters out as love to all in my community, city, county, state, country, continent, and world).

Continuing, the Energy blooms into the throat/blue chakra, and to the purple third-eye chakra, where levers and switches get flipped up or down, and re-calibrate as necessary whatever needs to be accurately tuned, through the very essence and into the center of my body, aligning my spine, reaching out through the light of the other sister crystal in my right hand, and finally, connecting with Limitless Creator Source Energy God via my crown chakra (top of my head).

I naturally come out of my meditation with a word, or phrase from the Divine.

Honored Connections

When Beau passed, I wanted a pillow with a picture of him on it, but it took me awhile to figure out the picture and how to obtain it.

One day, I looked at the beautiful Awakened Fibers wall hanging in our bedroom and realized who I’d ask. I reached out to Mary Ann Pickard, owner of Awakened Fibers — and she was more than happy to create my Beau pillow! I commissioned her to make one pillow for me and one for my granddaughter (who also loved Beau, often asking to see him when we’d Skype or Google Hangout).

Whem the pillows were finished, I met Mary Ann to pick them up. I was elated! She had lovingly designed and created such extraordinary pillows! So much detail, like the hidden zipper (so Jennie wouldn’t catch herself on it), along with super neat trim (blue cording on mine / frilly lace on Jennie’s) — really artistically crafted!

Meditate daily

Upon returning home, I immediately sensed that I would use my new “Beau pillow” during my meditation. My yellow shirt is from Rekha (of India Artisans, Sarasota FL which was next door to the Crystal Cave a beautiful crystal shop.

Other meditations

Moving meditation

I did stair climbing meditation five days a week for more than two years. I used that time to de-stress from my tasks, stretch, practice Jin Shin Jyutsu, pray, and even practice Pilates and other movements to build and tone my body. I gained much calm during that time.

Sitting meditation

My sitting meditation is something I really look forward to each morning though. It’s a quiet, tranquil time where I feel totally nurtured and supported by All There Is.

A time where the walls of “me” melt away and allow me to become ONE with All There Is, know and feel exceedingly that, We Are All Connected.

Focused meditation

You don’t need to have “things” around you when you meditate – but I have found that for now, these are pleasing to me and anchor me to my little piece of heaven on earth.

Quick recap

You can actually meditate with your eyes open! Just pick a point to focus on. Also, clearing your mind isn’t the goal. The goal (over time with consistent practice) is to make the mind serviceable.

You can use a phrase instead of a word. You can try walking meditation if sitting annoys you. The point is to observe and detach. Notice who (or what) is thinking the thoughts and let each gracefully float away. Oh, and no spirituality is required. OM ❤️🦋🌀 Namaste. OM

UPDATE April 2019: My morning routine has changed. Now, I mentally say, “Thank you.” Then before I get out of bed, I do this actual breathwork (yes, with this link): https://youtu.be/lcC_DUtNr1M Then, before brushing my teeth I look in the bathroom mirror, look into my eyes and say out loud, “Thank you mom and thank you dad for creating me”! (As both are in the Grand Beyond now). And then shower, dress, and do some yoga, Pilates, and/or Qigong. A little later in the morning, I do this exercise too: https://youtu.be/PwJCJToQmps

For beginners

Here are a few things I’ve found in common between all the various meditation teachers I have learned from:

  • Focus on your breath
  • Your mind will wander
  • As thoughts enter, allow them to float on by as if on a cloud
  • Stay unattached to external sounds or environmental conditions
  • Return to the breath
  • Start with one or two minutes
  • Sit comfortably in the same place each day
  • Try to meditate at the same time each day

After some practice, allowing the thoughts to float by and finding the space growing in between the thoughts is what is most important. Namaste. OM ❤️🦋🌀🙏

What a Feeling!

What a FEELING

I must say, today has been a ridiculously aWEsOMe day! I’ve just been published, a second time!

Celebrating the book

The book launched on Amazon.com with amazing success… by this evening, yes the end of the first full day – the book “The Energy of Receiving” reached #3 in the Self-Help category, AND #1 in the Self-Help, Spiritual category!!! I, along with my publisher, and the other 16 authors (18 total) who co-created this book are THRILLED!!!

I’m reading my copy of the book and posting a review on Amazon about it SOON!

What a FEELING!
What a FEELING!

Getting ready for the yoga festival

Also, my husband and I will be participating in the Awakening Into the Sun weekend festival in St. Petersburg March 7th and 8th 2015, and we’ll have a booth where I’ll be selling, and signing copies of the book. I will have 20 paperback copies for sale so, if you want a signed copy, come on out!

Glorious feelings!

As an empath, it will be interesting to see how much I feel during the event, and how many times I experience “God bumps”. I continue to note, when and where I feel God bumps, and it seems that it’s whenever I am talking about God, or spiritual (deep thought) topics, become familiar with someone’s pain (mental, emotional, or physical), or open a gateway (to unlimited possibility).

Update

The festival was an aWEsOMe success! We enjoyed meeting many new people, reconnecting with friends, watching and listening to new musicians, and sharing with other like-minded, like-spirited folk! I will be blogging about many of our friends in the upcoming weeks and months, so stay tuned! 🙂

On the eve of our 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I really have a lot to be thankful for, and celebrate.

About the book

You can click below to check out my latest book and buy, if you’re so inclined (and thank you). My chapter is called, “Be Open To Receive”.

The book includes many lessons I’ve learned. Lessons to do with putting aside one’s judgments and making s-p-a-c-e to allow God, the Universe, the Law of Attraction, or whatever name you want to call the magical, mysterious LIMITLESS unseen power of Energy, to bring you all you’ve ever really needed, at just the right time.

Juicing, Paleo, No-Grain Diet, Mostly Vegetarian – Who needs labels?

Many diets. Who needs labels?

I am finally ready to reveal my new diet. I have been doing this for several months now and it’s working. It’s really working. I have lost weight effortlessly. Gained vitality. Renewed my body Temple. And increased the frequency with which, I feel connected to Source Creator God, and all of you. We Are All Connected.

We Are All One. Yes, yes, and yahoo… YES!

Many diets. Who needs labels?
Many diets. Who needs labels?

We are what we eat and absorb.

Here’s the deal about diet for life (lifestyle) change:

I drink raw vegetable juice — everyday. At least one 16 ounce raw veggie juice, often 32 ounces. Plus water. Monday through Friday–I only juice during the day. And if I don’t have time to juice for myself,

I buy juices from a raw vegan cafe; thank you Ionie’s Cafe! Ionie’s vacuum seal the juice in glass mason jars.

I pack my juice in a ThirtyOne bag (with ice) and enjoy at work. Then, for the evening meal… I eat a light meal or soup for dinner. That’s it.

If I feel the need to eat something, I will mix raw nuts and seeds, typically only a 1/2 cup or less and throw in my work bag. Mostly pumpkin and sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans, almonds, and brazil nuts. I eat a bit more on the weekends, but nothing outrageous.

The weekday light meal? Primarily, a can of Amy’s Organic soup, or a salad with grilled or broiled fish. Now and then, I will have some other vegetable like broccoli, sweet potato, or asparagus, but rarely white potatoes. On occasion, I will get a beef patty (no bun), or a steak, but I suspect I will only do that once every two or three months. I have basically lost my desire to eat meat. I like turkey once in awhile too, but we always look for the less processed, organic variety when we buy it.

I am not eating any processed sugar — unless you count wine. I had some sugar over the holidays because my daughter makes (and ships) chocolate truffles from New Hampshire and I love supporting her, so I had a few of those (one a day, every other day). Yes I am attempting to be transparent here. This also keeps me humble and on track. I do not desire to cheat because that’s only cheating my Temple.

UPDATE 1/1/2016: No more truffles and a lot less wine.

Let go of diet labels

I am learning that I am a cross between a raw vegan and a paleo or no-grain eater. I am not a 100% raw vegan because I do still consume eggs, honey, fish, seafood, and very little meat. But I put into daily practice much of what I learned from being a raw vegan back in 2009-2010. I love raw vegan nut cheese instead of dairy cheese. Whenever I eat dairy cheese I can always tell the difference. I’ve also learned that my body does not digest raw tomatoes very well.

As for spiritual growth

As for the spirituality aspects of clean eating… the other night a lady asked if I go to church. I answered a triumphant… No. But then I thought, why would I when I believe my body is the Temple. Yes, with a capital T. And I believe all of your bodies are Temples too. I believe in God-made, vs. Man-made. I will always. That is a core belief of mine. Hmmm. I just misspelled belief as belife. Isn’t that interesting? I corrected it but now I am thinking be-life is actually better!

Fasting

I am finding that by fasting during the daytime on weekdays, it has heightened my spiritual awareness, including also a physical awareness of how much people around me EAT. The over consumption in America is disheartening. It’s not wonder so many of us are overweight and miserable. I highly suspect our bodies were never meant to be in this shape, and yes, round is a shape.

Focus

I am focused on learning more about energy medicine. By changing my focus from food: what to eat, how to make it, when to buy it, etc. I definitely have more time available for reading, sharing, and learning about energy, frequency, brain waves, intuition, etc.

Feeling good

Case in point, this week I took my first Jin Shin Jyutsu class. I am amazed how how wonderful I feel! I feel good, really good.

I mean, I always feel pretty good. Can’t complain. But on occasion I’ve experienced vertigo (ever since working at the Space Center, which I felt may have had something to do with it). The vertigo would come and go. I felt that I had to be watchful when it came to doing any task that might set it off. Laying on a massage table for a massage, at times, could cause me to experience vertigo. Forget about head down yoga postures!

So, the other day after 30 minutes of Jin Shin Jyutsu – both of my ears “opened”! I was ecstatic! Now I can flip my head over to put a towel on my head after getting out of the shower! Yay! Yahoo!

About faith, timing, and living life more abundantly

The Bible is full of stories about how God created us in His image and wants us to live life and have it more abundantly. To me, those understandings mean that He provides for us, in all ways, for our health, and for our needs. I think we’re the ones that think that means He will always answer our prayers and give us what we desire, but I do not think so. I believe our needs are always, in ALL WAYS, provided.

Sometimes God withholds some things, and some answers, for a later time for us, when we are prepared to handle those things. This is why I believe God’s timing is always perfect. And blessed assurance tells me that is why, when the student is ready, the teacher arrives.

Have faith. You know, faith – which is the opposite of worry. Faith IS the substance of things not yet seen. That said, worry is actually a sin because God tells us to have faith. Exercise your faith by taking care of yourself. The Bible also instructs us how to eat and move our bodies, but how many of us follow those instructions? I think it pleases God when we learn about those and practice those habits. Pork is not the other white meat. Pigs are dirty animals that have no sweat glands. Quit dishing on PETA people and take an honest look at what they have to say. Or talk to a pig farmer. Watch a documentary. Just don’t eat pork. Make it easy. Those parasites in pork, yeah they live through the cooking process. And really, the more crap you eat, the harder it will be for you to feel good. I’d bet it also shortens your life. And if you believe suicide is a sin then dying a slow death by eating stupid silly non-beneficial foods is a sin too.

Now, I am not preaching all this stuff to make you feel guilty. Just quit complaining about what other people do and think about what you do. Study to show thyself approved and make one small change at a time until you feel good. I am not above anyone. I am human and I fail. But God has been showing me some things. So, I am sharing what I learn in an effort to help you feel good. Nothing more. Be healthy. Live well.

What’s not needed

Quit running to doctors and putting your faith into what amounts to be medical witchcraft (Yes look up the history, especially all of you who are so fast to point a finger at anyone who believes in another religion). Those big pharmaceutical companies you love so much are a cog in the wheel of the beast. They do NOTHING to cure anyone. They may prolong life but in what state? They do not cure. They ease suffering perhaps. They mask symptoms so you never DO anything to heal your Temple. In my estimation, they are the liars. They are the ones who are selling you false hope. I am tired of hearing people’s excuses why they need this or that drug from a chronic illness. Your lifestyle, mostly the food you’re eating, that’s what’s chronic.

Go to the doctor if you break a bone, but for asthma, digestive issues, migraines, back aches, arthritis, inflammation, and more… seek alternative advice. I am not a doctor, nor do I prescribe any treatments or solutions. I am shaking you awake! Take It Upon Yourself to live your best, most vital life!

As for exercise, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an energy medicine art that I have decided to focus on this year. I am learning (thanks to reader comments and friends), that it’s best to meditate, then perform Jin Shin Jyutsu, then do my daily stair climbing. That makes sense to me. But I am always trying to maximize what little spare time I have. I work full-time. So, I do the stair climbing when I need a break at work. Thankfully I am able to take a 10-15 minute break twice a day, and my stair climbing has improved so much that I can climb 8 flights safely, and return, within that time. Much less actually.

Exercise works the body, and meditation dedicates the mind. I will learn transcendental meditation (TM) at some point.

The pulsing, or vibration that I feel when I practice Jin Shin Jyutsu is simply amazing! I feel God bumps when I talk about it! I need nothing outside of myself to validate anything for me.

I am connected to my breath, I am enjoying all the self-care I have learned about this past year. I am excited and hopeful about the future. All really is well.

Take what you need, leave the rest

I’ve attended many different church services (of different religions) over the years, and I have found some common thinking among them.

I love learning about God and all means of connecting with our Creator. I don’t search because I haven’t found God, I search because there’s so many different ways to connect with God!

But, in all of those churches, there were some preachers who said things I didn’t like (meaning that I found some of the things they said divisive. Their sermons didn’t resonate as positive. Phrases such as:

  • “We’re right, they’re wrong”
  • “We are the only church preaching the true gospel”
  • “We’re the only ones baptizing the correct way”
  • “All other religions are wrong

Those statements seemed contrary to my nature and what God put upon my heart and some were contradictory to what Jesus said (or have been attributed to Jesus) in the Bible.

When I asked some of the followers of these various churches about the things their preacher taught, they most often replied: “I may not believe everything the church, religion, or my preacher teaches, but I follow the basic tenets and leave the rest.”

I asked them why they would continue to attend (or belong) to a church or faith that did not align with their beliefs. Most would answer something along the lines of:

  • “I stay out of respect for my spouse, parents, grandparents, etc.”
  • “The preacher is smarter, more studied, etc. than me”
  • “I’ve gone to this church my whole life and changing now would be too difficult”
  • “Perhaps I’m being convicted and have more to learn here”

I came upon the statement of: “Take what you need and leave the rest” when I attended several different 12 step recovery programs (during a time when an ex-spouse was dealing with substance abuse and his doctor wanted our family to undergo therapy).

The concept reminded me of what those church goers told me years before, so I began applying the “take what you need, and leave the rest” concept to many things in life. Truly, in all of my research and study I have not found anyone who “knows it all,” so that phrase has helped me open to more. I have not found anyone who has a perfect life, or “has it all,” (no matter how you define the words: perfect and all).

I’ve written before about my maternal grandparents–whom raised my mother and her siblings in a particular faith–that taught belief in an Almighty, Living God. One of the most challenging aspects of that Christian faith is how many other people, even other Christians, called that church a cult! But, had I not been raised in that faith, I would not have experienced the healing power of God via “laying on of hands,” (the first and most powerful Source of Energy Medicine).

In fact, I was healed of colitis, when I was young, because my mom knew to call upon the elders of the church to pray for me.

To explain a bit more, when I was about seven or eight years of age, there was a time when I experienced severe abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and difficulty eliminating (all symptoms of colitis). My mother took me to the hospital emergency room. During the physical examination, I became hysterical because of one particular method the doctor used, which nearly scared me to death, and physically hurt!

I think my shrieks and cries of pain reminded my mom that our family typically prayed first and asked for laying on of hands by the elders (totally calming and non-invasive), before we would go to a doctor or hospital. So, she took me home and called the elders of the church to come and administer laying on of hands to me. After their prayer, I never experienced any more symptoms of colitis!

NOTE: The doctor had prescribed some paregoric Kaopectate that a pharmacist had to compound for me, along with an enema. The interesting thing to me now, about his recommendation of the enema, is that had we believed in having colonics / colon hydrotherapy or enemas on a regular basis and right ways of eating, I never would have been in that situation to begin with!

I should also mention, at this point, that I recognize in some emergency instances intensive allopathic medical interventions may be necessary. I do not mean for anyone to throw the baby out with the bathwater so to speak and throw all allopathic medicine to the curb.

All healing comes from God and God allows doctors, nurses, and healers (including allopathic practitioners) to possess abilities and skills that help people. However, in my experience, prayer is the most powerful thing we can do. And the Mind, Body, and Spirit sciences are proving this!

I have had friends and family who prayed, and then went to the doctor. I am not judging that. God works in all ways, often mysterious! God can heal you on the way to the doctor! The important distinction is: Ask God first! Ask and continue asking. Then be open to receive God’s answer.

Do not judge or condemn others who believe differently than you, as they have their own path. If you believe God lives in you, they may also believe God lives within them!

When you argue with anyone about their beliefs, the vibration of that interaction actually runs counter to what God wants which, is for all peoples to live in peace acknowledging Creator God.

If you want to open to receive more, the Bible teaches:

“Study to show yourself approved to God…”

“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

As for the religion of my youth, while I feel it beautifully served me well for a time, I am continuing to seek wisdom by following the pulsing sensation (“God bumps”) I feel in my body when God, our Source, our Creator confirms to me, that I am on the path. I’ve learned that judgment does not resonate with me. Holism speaks to me.

Now, “church” for me, occurs anytime I talk with at least one other person about our LIMITLESS Ever-Living Filling-All-Space Creator. And I continue to research and study. I find much in the new Sciences, and the study of ancient ways–thrilling! To me it all validates God, it does not negate God.

Darwinian evolution theory is out – disproven. Science still does not know where we came from, but chromosome 2 in our DNA proves we did not evolve from ape-man.

The school books are WRONG.

Currently, I am reconnecting with things that interested me as a child. Because I used to love archeology and dinosaurs I began listening to Gregg Braden. I enjoyed his recent interview about his book Deep Truth – (click on the words Deep Truth to watch his video on YouTube) or  watch the interview I saw on GaiamTV.

Gregg’s interview led me to explore this site, about heart-based coherence: Global Coherence

I follow and study the work and writing of many enlightened people. To me, this is a topic I will be able to study the rest of my life. There’s soooo very much to learn!

In all things I wish you love, peace, and many blessings. In fact, everything you have and all that is around you right now (even any suffering you may be experiencing) is with you for a reason. Let it open and bless you.

My intention with ALL that I write is that you will receive it in a way that feels good to you (and in alignment with your inner being–soul).

Take what you need, leave the rest.

Thank you and Namaste.

Honoring our Connections

To honor our Connections

This is an analysis of CONNECTIONS…

The Big connections.

The seemingly little connections.

Yet, ALL REAL connections.

Unlocking potentials

I’ve been saying YES to many things for many years which, has brought me to this place, to write about connections. The connections we all make everyday. When you step outside your door each day, a HUGE potential exists for you to connect with someone new that offers the possibility to alter the direction of your life!

Are you OPEN to the possibilities?

Are you open to making new connections?

The Merriam-Webster definition of connection is: “join two or more things“, “the state of being connected” and “a situation in which two or more things have the same cause, origins, goal, etc.” What does this remind you of? It reminds me of Jesus’ sayings:

“…if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.”

“…where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

Be open

So, you need to be open, don’t you? You need to be willing to be one of the two parties involved.

When you step outside each day, you connect with the ground (unless you live on a boat)! And in that case, as you place a toe in water, you cause a ripple. But I digress–though,  I wonder what the fish and other water creatures perceive of your toe in the water?

Anyway, when you put your foot on the floor upon awakening from sleep, say to yourself, Thank You. Try this for a week or two. What new awareness opens to you?

Once you’ve gone out of your home, chances are, you will connect with another person. Are you grumpy? Not feeling well? Anxious because you’re running late?

spiral-energy

Mental Constructs

Time is a man-made concept. Not everyone lives by the same “rules” about time, and what about all those times zones?

So, take a breath. Smile at the person in front of you. Be grateful you have the opportunity for this interaction, even if it’s a short interaction.

Just be grateful. #GRATITUDE

Anything can happen today!

If there’s ever a time when you start to feel sorry for yourself, read the account of Job in the Bible.

You can live with less ego in your life when you understand that we’re all connected.

Be in Gratitude daily, yes, really FEEL it– whether something you label as GOOD or something you label as BAD happens. One will feel good, the other will teach you something– IF you’re open and willing to learn. See with new eyes and hear with new ears!

Isn’t this an exciting time to be alive on planet Earth???

Intersecting aligning points

We are connected to the Earth, to the cosmos, to the air, water, plant life, and every living being and creature on the planet in one way or another. We can turn away, or we can embrace these Connections. I feel we become richer, more “whole” as a people when we embrace these Connections.

American astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson has said, “We are all connected; To each other biologically. To the earth chemically. To the rest of the universe atomically.”

The point is: you really can’t even walk outside without being faced with opportunities to connect with others. You can choose to make those connections good or not. Your attitude and how you respond to others really does make a difference. Not just to them, but to YOU.

You can learn to become more in tune with the Connections all around you.

One of my healers, Nora Ross gave me another tactic as a way to promote peace. When someone approaches me, Nora taught me to say the following mentally to myself (inner dialog) “I love you” toward them.

What I have found is that when I practice this, the way I respond to people changes. If someone approaches me for assistance and I respond, “How may I bless you today?” or “How may I help (serve) you today?” instead of “Yes?” or “What?” this enhances my vibration. And the meeting becomes quite a profound experience and allows a magnificent exchange to occur.

For more, about how we’re all connected read the book Transform Your Life Book 2 – Inspirational Stories and Expert Insights that includes my chapter called, “We Are All Connected.” This was my first co-author book project and it’s filled with timeless insight from many gifted authors.

For more about being open, find my second co-authored book called, The Energy of Receiving” by Happiness Publishing. The chapter I wrote is called, “Open to Receive.”

I’ve been living by, and thinking in agreement with these two mantras for many years: “We Are All Connected” and “God’s timing is always perfect.” However, this is a PROCESS, there is NO COMPLETION or finish line.

Philosophy would also aim for us to “know thyself.”

One of the most profound Connections we can uncover is how our inner being is connected to God.

As well, when I discover a Connection like that with another, I call it a “soul connection” or say we’re in “soul-alignment.

Some of the major soul-alignments in my life have been / are:

  • Without my mom sharing a bite of her sandwich with my dad, I would not be here, so I thank each of them (in my inner dialogue everyday for creating me–since they have both passed away, crossed over to the Grand Beyond.)
  • Without my body having experienced asthma my mom may have not taken me to a chiropractor as a child whom first taught me about natural (even holistic) health care
  • Without my maternal grandparents going to the church they did, my mother following their lead, and raising me within a “Living God believing Christian-faith“, I would not have experienced the healing power of God via “laying on of hands” – the first and most powerful Source of Energy Medicine
  • Without my dad being in the Citizen Band (CB) business (isn’t that interesting and perfect for me since it’s all about Frequency) I would not have met my first husband, and father to both of my children

Convergence

Are you getting a sense of ALL the many points of convergence that had to occur in my life to bring me to the awareness and consciousness that you’re reading in my posts?

  • Without my friend, Margie, (also of the same “Ever-Living God still speaks today” Christian faith) I would not have taken my first college class, which led to me working for a University for 10 years and obtaining my first degree in Aviation Business Administration (lots of emphasis on writing, both during my work there and their rigorous science degree program).
  • Without my first supervisor at that university, Lois McDonough, sticking by her decision to hire me (when certain forces were against that happening), I never would have worked there for ten years, earning an associates in science degree, and being able to provide for my two children and myself. I will always honor, Lois for her backbone and tenacity!
  • Without one mentor turned friend (whom I met while working on a complex database project that nobody else wanted to undertake at the university), Digi, I wouldn’t have moved out of the higher ed arena to the corporate world in 1997.
  • Without friends and coworkers, Nancy and Holly, I would not have met my wonderful “love of my life” husband, Richard! (And thank you Suzi for marrying us!) And without my friend Pattie I wouldn’t have met her sister Nancy!
  • Without continuing my education, I wouldn’t have the financially strong and relevant career I have today (as well as, meeting the beautiful coworkers and mentors I’ve met along the way–many of whom have played pivotal roles in my personal development).
  • Without Richard introducing me to juicing, distilled water, and a healthier way to eat (no soda or fast food since 2003), I am quite sure I would not be as healthy as I am today, and later… all those baby steps enabled me to go raw vegan, do a 40 day juice fast, etc.
  • Without Richard’s auntie Millie, (her wisdom and encouragement was so enlightening to me) I would not have tried acupuncture
  • Without listening to my own inner guidance (the intuition of gut feelings) when I didn’t feel the first acupuncture doctor was right, going back and seeing Joan Massey, Doctor of Oriental Medicine for several months and asking her questions, learning, and following her advice, I would still have asthma
  • Without beginning my quest for health at HealthQuest (when Dr. Joan was there) I wouldn’t have met Dory Valentine my massage therapist and yoga teacher. I also began having colon hydrotherapy and found a great deal of healing from that practice.
  • Without Joan I wouldn’t have met Nora Ross (who treated me using multiple modalities including Raindrop Therapy using therapeutic essential oils)
  • Without God leading me to put my hands together when I pray and my own inner being allowing the asthma in my body to reverse and heal I would not be writing and speaking about natural and holistic health, nor would I be as healthy as I am today – able to do so much! No diseases, no aches or pains, no surgeries (as in “replacements”), and NO medications!!! Yes, I survived pharmaceuticals!
  • Without my kids, who are now grown up, I would not have three beautiful and smart granddaughters who teach me much about the simplicity of being excited and thrilled all over again with all the little things of life.

I honor all of the people who have blessed me in my journey. The connections I have experienced in my life, most all have enabled me to learn and grow in many different aspects.

And the beat goes on

I continue honoring all of my connections.

Thank you to my recruiter and friend, Doreen Austin, and a referral from a previous coworker that culminated in bringing me to work in St. Petersburg, Florida–moving from Orlando, July 2013. Oh, how delicious life has become!

I would not yet be a published author without the connections afforded me by my holistic life coach, Dr. Alison J. Kay, (who also has a practice that assists in the clearing of our subconscious blocks). I found Dr. Kay on LinkedIn and reached out to her several times, even before moving to the west coast of Florida as a sort of pre-paving a way for me to work (in some capacity) within the holistic health and wellness arena, and continue writing on a subject that thrills me immensely on a soul level.

In Dr. Kay’s book, “What If There’s Nothing Wrong” she discusses the scientific evidences along with ancient understandings of various aspects of connection – connection of the mind to the body, “an interconnection between all animate life”, and how science is proving these connections. Dr. Kay’s book connects with what I have been studying and writing about as she states, “the mind-body connection puts the power back in the hands of the individual…” and this is the basis of my upcoming third book, “Take It Upon Yourself.”

In this particular video, you’ll learn:

“…the genetic characteristics of our ancestors live in our blood today.” Dr D’Adamo in the Blood Type Diet book. And this points to the fact that a portion of our ancestors still–within us.

Dr. Oz says on Oprah’s website, “…the next big frontier in medicine is energy medicine“. I believe we are at an exquisite time in history when western medicine will open to the connections to the subtle energies that guide us, working in and through us all.

Dr. Alison introduced me to Joeel and Natalie Rivera of Transformation Magazine and Transformation Publishing when I assisted her at the Atman Center during an event. That fortuitous meeting led to my participation in my first co-authored book. As well, while at the Atman Center, I met Mary Ann of Awakened Fibers. I think  of Mary Ann daily when I hug my Beau pillow (read about that here).

At this same Atman Center event, I was incredibly blessed to meet Alania Starhawk of We Believe In Light and Patricia McGivern, the magnificent author of the beautifully profound book, Angel Babies.

Assisting Dr. Kay at the second annual Awakening Into The Sun festival (initially at First Unity of St. Petersburg), led me to participate at the annual Awakening Into The Sun festival (which I have continued to do since), volunteer and teach EFT classes at the Awakening Wellness center (a dream of mine). How does it get any better than this? Woo-hoo!

Proof

“Sure, most physicists will tell you it’s impossible to feel this entanglement, this “spooky” connection to another living being. But when you reflect on a past love or a mother’s inexplicable knowledge of their child in danger; then you really have to stop and look at the evidence. There is proof that we are all connected, and it has more to do with the creation of the universe than the simple fact that we are all humans.”
Read more about how we are all connected here.

In my experience, if your heart is pointed in the direction of LOVE you emanate a vibration, sending ripples of unconditionallove and compassion outward, which allow you to be a blessing to others. You will help yourself and lift others.

If you don’t know what to do next, follow what feels lighter (vs. heavier) and really feel for these guiding feelings IN your body before making a particular choice. Many call that listening to their “gut feeling”. I call these my “God bumps” and they are my validation that I’m heading the right way. My way, may not be your way. But, there are many paths that lead to the same destination.

Don’t ignore your inner guidance – it exists for a reason. You were fearfully and wonderfully made.

If you want to experience greater prosperity, health, and vitality, choose thoughts that move you in the direction that FEELS good to YOU.

If you would like to experience emotional freedom from anxiety, pain, or other negative emotion–reach out to me. I am here to help.

Please check out my books, other blog titles here and share with others.

Be a blessing. Much love to you in ALL ways.

Amen and Namaste. OM

Why censor or limit oneself? God is. Just Be.

My previous post was about living a joyous life in balance. Ah, bliss. And it should be so easy, right? Eh, well not exactly.

People limit themselves everyday. We fuss, nag, find fault, argue, criticize, and blah, blah, blah… So, why do I censor or limit myself in conversations? Isn’t it obvious?

God IS. Just BE.
God IS. Just BE.

I limit my words, uh many times even my thoughts, because someone was critical of me in the past. Maybe a parent, teacher, coach, boss, or authority figure – that is unimportant. It doesn’t matter whom. The point is – we humans like to limit things. We like to label things. People will tell you, “don’t worry or care what people think”… but then mysteriously those same folks – usually within the same conversation – will say something that carries the essence of, “be careful, don’t say too much, don’t tell him or her this or that.”

Good intentions

I give you this fact. Many people have good intentions. They want to protect you somehow. Protect you from saying too much so you won’t get into trouble. Hmm. But isn’t that their problem?

Mixed frequencies

Censoring myself, limits me and puts me in a flux state, vibrationally speaking.

I get nervous. I get flustered. My face may even get red. I end up with a mindful of clutter!

Yet, all I can ever truly be – is myself. Like me or not. Care or not.

I make mistakes, I learn, I fall, I get up, I cry, I love, I give, I receive. I am vulnerable. I am not superwoman – and I don’t really think anyone else is superman or superwoman either.

Empower yourself

UPDATE: Want to feel empowered? Get your cape on!

If I, being of noble purpose, believe I have something to share, begin to open my mouth but then my mind jumps to thoughts like, “Oh, they don’t want to know, they don’t care” that’s enough to stop me dead in my tracks. Why? Because no one wants to be judged or condemned. We all want to be liked! If we didn’t want people to like us, we’d never go out, we’d never join with others in any social situation. We’d sit alone all day! Ha! But then a strange thing would happen. The ones we thought would judge us would be the very ones who would say, “come on, get out and be a joiner”! Do you get the irony in this?

You can’t get it wrong

So really, you can’t get it wrong. Just be. Be yourself. Without limitations.

Labels and beliefs

Even my feeble attempt to list all the names (why must humans LABEL everything?) that humans ascribe to the LIMITLESS Filling-All-Space Creator I honor causes me to scratch my head, analyze, and scrutinize.

How do I order this list? Ugh! My mind goes to a place of judgement… I know someone won’t like that I’m including names of: Mother Father, Allah, Buddha, or Zen. All this judgment and it feels so heavy. But God is love, and I almost can’t think of any other all consuming love (at least not in my human form) better than a mother or father (or grandparent) can give to a child – so for me, calling God as Mother Father feels so good, so comforting, so forgiving, and so full of grace. Ohh I am so saved. So loved. I am not perfect but I am so very, wholly, LOVED!

All the various beliefs we hold, many are so personal, so deeply entrenched within us, that putting the names into the same article, or list, will be judged, labeled, and so on! Go on, that’s fine. You’re not perfect either! But you are worthy. You are loved. 😉

Obviously human beings cannot agree, most cannot even discuss these Holy names for God – there is no consensus and certainly there are multitudes of faiths, religions, and many, many wars have been fought, with untold millions of lives lost due to the very notion / belief that one of these names, carry more importance, than the others. But names are only words. Words must be defined to carry any meaning to anyone. Period. If I AM (right now in the present moment) aware of, consciously tuned to:

“There are many names for the source of knowledge—the Absolute, the Cosmic, God, the Divine Spirit, the Transcendent —yet the concept is one; it is the Universal Manifestation, the Spiritual Essence, that pervades all things. And, it is this entity, this Universal Oneness, that the mystic seeks to know.”

-Rosicrucian Manuscript

Why do we limit the Limitless, Ever-Living, Filling-ALL-Space, Creator God?

And then, why, would I EVER limit myself???

There are NO limitations!!!

There is good all around

Let us not lie to ourselves! There’s so much GOOD going on and I’m tuned in!

People are friendly. People smile. People are kind and do good things for each other.

I see beauty EVERYWHERE and everything is working together for our good! Everything occurs in perfect timing in accordance with the order of life, of God. We are all connectedin so many direct and subtle ways. How can anyone deny it? We live in a field of INFINITE possibilities. Get over your lack mentality.

Resonate, vibrate, tune yourself to the POWER and knowledge YOU are who you are meant to be. Quit resisting! Resisting your true beautiful, whole, powerful nature is the same as putting a clamp on a water hose. Just let God’s love and power flow through you always. 😉

I am a spiritual being having an earthly experience and so are YOU! Be real with yourself. I love to help others awaken. I’ve got so much to share!

Bloom where you’re planted. I am! Since I love teaching, sharing, and writing – here’s my expression. Each post is a bloom on the flower of my life.

God personified

Jesus Christ of Nazareth came to enlighten us. He came to show us that we’re energy. He showed us how to live in the full awareness of how to live in our wellness and wholeness. Be it now.

To be something means, you are “being.” You are a human being. Being means vibration, pulsing, activating, acting as if, and exercising your faith! Jesus did not look upon illness or dis-ease, He saw us in our whole (Holy) state of being. Go to the scriptures and read the miracles again. Jesus healed a man who had been born blind. It is written Jesus put mud on the man’s eyes. Then you know what? Jesus instructed the man to go to the river and wash! The blind man was healed by putting his faith into action. Yes, “your faith has made you whole.”

Be hopeful

If you need encouragement and upliftment today quietly say to yourself or out loud with boldness…

  • With every breath, God
  • With every heartbeat, God
  • I am who and where God is
  • God is with me
  • I am never ever alone
  • Alone is a lie
  • Alone has been misrepresented
  • Alone has been ill-defined
  • I know God is with me
  • I align myself with Source
  • I Am Creative Energy

Then say with your most open heart: “Thank You” as a child says, thank you. God knows. For some beautiful worship check out:Rev. Michael Beckwith

My daily mission: to consistently and joyfully manage the contrast between things that frustrate me (like a pebble in my shoe), which cause me to ask for improvements in my spiritual yet earthbound experience, and reach for better feeling thoughts, keeping my body at ease, allowing myself to receive the divine blessings God has in store for me.

In other words: To be joyfully aware of LIMITLESS, Ever-Living, Filling-All-Space Creator in every present moment. To me, this is the sum total of living a blessed, blissful, joyous, and happy life – everyday no matter what the circumstances.

Always remember we walk by faith. Be conscious every present moment. We walk in the light and are never alone.

To those who question if God is Energy, I would ask them, “What is Spirit”?

What is the essence of God? Isn’t it enough to be thankful that we have mind enough to ponder that? To simply BE. Be in God’s Energy.

Blessed BE.

Ease, peace, calm, love, light, joy, bliss, namaste, and, and…

We Are All Connected. OM

Many blessings to you in ALL ways.

Living a blessed, blissful, and happy life in balance

To live a blessed, blissful, joyous, and happy life, to me, means living life in balance, squeezing all the juice out of life in the present moment while aware and conscious of God, (Source, Holy Spirit, Energy, Creator), the Divine Presence that is all around and through us. I refer to God as, Omniscience.

My work

My “work” (day job) is not just what I do Monday through Friday each week to earn a paycheck. My job provides me the time to learn how things work, including how I respond to challenges and stress. My work environment often causes me to consciously acknowledge how energy works because I find many contrasts there!

❤️🦋🌀

My main and utmost job though, is to myself. To grow my inner being, true nature. I work on mySelf on spiritual and energetic levels.

Live blessed and blissful in balance

God Bumps

I focus as Spirit leads me, where I feel the internal bodily sensation of “God Bumps” (thrill bumps, chills, tingles, and ripple-like feelings).

The more I feel these God Bumps (or GodBumps) the more that sensation occurs whenever I meet, have a conversation with, or sit in the presence of other beings who are also on a path of enlightenment.

God Bumps are my way of describing how “aligned energy” feels, as it resonates within my body. Typically, this “energy alignment” brings me to the present moment, to be conscious of the fact that I am a spiritual being (with a soul), having an earthly experience.

I seek out (and visit again and again) the people and places, that cause me to feel God Bumps. I believe I feel these sensations because I am an empath. I actually feel it, when I make a soul connection with someone. I also blog (write) about it! Click here for my other articles.

Not above or below

I’ve always held a belief that no one is more worthy–of spiritual enlightenment, fame, a huge salary, or any other so-called measure of success–than anyone else. More is going on.

I’ve always felt some sort of injustice, while reading about the huge salaries and bonuses some people receive, while many others are barely making ends meet. Do some people really work harder, smarter, than the rest of us? Clearly different classes of people have always existed through history. A few who live very well, while many thousands, even millions subsist.

Also, I have prayed for the upliftment of religious leaders caught up in scandalous activities. Not that everyone who is a spiritual leader or teacher is perfect (save one), but I hold such leaders to a higher standard – and I think many of us feel that way.

Jesus – The Christ

Speaking of the perfect one, I was brought to the knowledge of our Holy savior, Christ Jesus of Nazareth when I was young. My mother taught me of Jesus’ perfection as He was/is God made flesh. I am of the mind that God made Jesus to show us the true way of enlightenment – and how we are all energy.

Jesus did not look upon illness or dis-ease, He saw us in our whole (Holy) state of being. That is so when you study of His many miracles. He asked the lame to “take up thy bed and walk” because the man had to believe he COULD walk – before being able TO walk! Jesus already knew the man COULD walk, that walking was within the man’s ability. Jesus healed the woman (or helped her to experience her healing) who merely touched His garment because she reached out to Him by faith. Remember the Holy scriptures tell us that Jesus said, “your faith has made you whole.”

Jesus came to show us, teach us, of our inner Holy/wholly state, (our divinity) – but sadly many people still do not “get it.” That is why He said, “Many will come in My name, but deny the power thereof.” Power = energy.

Energy

Energy separates us from the inanimate objects man creates. We cannot breathe life / energy into anything we make.

Our babies get their Spirit, energy, breath from God, Divine Source. God breathes and works through us and all living things.

Earning and Worthiness

We are all inherently worthy to have our needs met – even our desires.

If one person can somehow manage to “earn” a billion dollars, then others must also be capable. If one person is able to feed millions, others must also be able. At least the possibility of attaining our desire is possible.

I believe we have a great responsibility. Not only to take care of ourselves so we can help others, but to acknowledge our connectedness. We can attain wonderful health. We can attain wealth – understanding that wealth means different things to people.

I know some will not receive my words so well, because they believe some have more advantages, are stronger, more driven, or smarter than others, but that is really coming from a lack mentality. I believe all have the potential to succeed in life, even those who are told they have some sort of disability. We are only limited by our thoughts and imagination. We are limited when we do not understand, do not know, that it’s ALL energy.

We are Energy. Every living thing on this planet has energy running through it.

Examples

Once at Disney I was asked “what is innovation”? At the time all I could think of was, it’s the entire scope, big picture – larger than any one invention. I wasn’t complete in my answer.

Innovation is taking other things, and putting them together in new ways.

We are innovations – energy building blocks put together in different ways, we look different and speak different languages, believe different things, but the common thread among us is the foundational component of ENERGY. So in this very magical way – we are all connected and able to help, sustain, and heal each other. We are called to recognize and honor this fundamental knowing.

I also worked with a lovely gal who reminded me to use the essential oils that I had. The oils had helped me so much in 2005 to release asthma from my body, and because they aren’t processed through the liver, one can heal without putting a load on that crucial organ.

If you have difficulty letting go, work to heal your liver, as it is a storage place for anger, resentment, bitterness, hatred, jealousy, envy, addictions, and a host of destructive feelings.

I learned to place a drop of Release oil blend on my belly to ease stored emotions from the liver. Of course, drinking half your body weight in ounces of pure water daily and doing a liver cleanse is helpful too.

My Calling and True Nature

I believe working with Energy is my true nature, my calling.

Energy is fully functioning, omnipresent, and omniscient in our being. Dis-ease is when we disconnect (for whatever reason) from it.

With every breath, God. With every heartbeat God. Pray without ceasing. The best prayer you could ever say is: “Thank You.”

The reason I love “laying on of hands”, and other healing energy work, is because it honors and places our Creator, Source, God as our supreme healer. We put our ego aside and ourselves in neutral–healing intentions unattached to the outcome.

I worship God when I pray or in other ways, work to assist others in the health and healing of their bodies. This is why my quest is to learn more about energy healing and resonant frequencies. Ever on the look out for how I can better assist others.

The most wonderful masterful healers I have discovered include (yet not limited to):

Joan Massey (Affordable Acupuncture, South Carolina)

Alison J. Kay (Healer, author, radio show host, coach)

Dr. Laurie Zakresky (Divine Books, Madeira Beach)

Dr. Bauduin (passed away) but had done tremendous natural healing work at Madeira Beach Center for Natural Medicine

My daily mission is: to consistently and joyfully manage the contrast between the things that frustrate me, (which cause me to ask for improvements in my spiritual, yet earthbound experience), and reach for better feeling thoughts. Doing so assists me in keeping my body at ease to receive the divine blessings God has in store for me (which, Jesus came to show as our birthright).

In other words: To be joyfully aware of LIMITLESS, Filling-All-Space, Creator Omniscience in every present moment.

To me, this is the sum total of living a blessed, blissful, joyous, and happy life – everyday, no matter the circumstances.

Always remember we walk by faith. Conscious in every present moment. We walk in Light and are never alone. We are all connected.

Namaste and love,

Sheila

Spiritual Insights During 40 Day Juice Fast

TakeItUponYourself small logo

The following are a collection of spiritual insights I noted during my 40 day juice fast:

  • The more I explore life, the simpler it becomes
  • Let he who hath ears, let him hear
  • We grow as blades of grass, up through the earth
  • Be as the blade of grass, grow through the dirt
  • Dirt, or earth, is analogous to all resistance we encounter
  • The more I accept lovingly what is, the more I can receive
  • Life is short, do what you love
  • You truly can bloom where you are planted
  • Be grateful – for everything
  • Every thought can be a prayer
  • You cannot say “thank you” enough times each day
  • Saying or thinking “thank you” in every moment is enlightenment
  • I am of Native American descent, this is why I have such deeply rooted feelings about “ownership” of anything
  • No one owns their so-called “land.” Think about it. We really don’t.
  • Tear down the fences and love one another
  • Don’t yell at me – what is all the yelling for? You do not control me.
  • Reality is ONLY what we perceive
  • Unplug to walk my dog, plug into God
  • God is everywhere
  • Space is everywhere
  • Space is not void
  • God exists in the space
  • In everything there is space (think molecules)
  • There is no path to “Everywhere”
  • No path is required, nor building either
  • No dogma is required, only faith
  • Faith is the substance of all things hoped for, things yet unseen
  • Faith IS a substance
  • When you pray, your faith becomes it (your faith has made you WHOLE)
  • God exists in all
  • Breathe, let God in
  • Breathe, let God
  • Breathe, let go
  • We do not create space
  • Space just is
  • We do not create God
  • God just is
  • Think good, think God, thank God – the difference one letter makes
  • I am a circle, a diamond, a mandala
  • As a diamond has facets, so do you, at least a few are glistening, shining
  • I can be grateful even for the muddy / milky facets of others, as it causes me to ask / hope for improvement
  • We are as a tapestry, all the stories of our lives weave a pattern
  • God sees all of our facets, all of our challenges and complexities
  • God knows all of our possibilities, our potential
  • Like electricity to a switch, it is up to each of us to allow pure positive energy to flow, or switch it off
  • Switching off pure positive source energy causes dis-ease in the body
  • God sees us all as a whole, in a perfect state of well-being
  • Jesus healed by not seeing (accepting) the dis-ease – faith makes one whole
  • Jesus saw our perfection, wholeness so dis-ease just “fell away” in his presence
  • We are mirrors of each other
  • No two people can ever experience anything the same way
  • You hold the probability to be nice, or the probability not to be
  • I appreciate all the probabilities you hold within you
  • God really is an aWEsOMe life-force, energy, Creator, Immanence, All-pervading, Ever-Living, Omniscience.
  • No one is perfect, not even our teachers, so let’s just drop that word and stop striving for that
  • We are ALL on a journey and one day we shall see everyone’s intentions

About the fast:

My belief is that I must be tuned EXACTLY to the right frequency or I will not clearly RECEIVE the signal and the best way (for me) to clear out the clutter of my mind, is to find something strong to focus on, in this case, my will not to eat. This fast has allowed me better reception.

I chose a 40 day fast because 40 days is a significant number in the Bible and because I have been reading about several others juice fasting experiences, and 40 seems to be the number of days most have been successful completing.

Bible references to 40 days:

      • Genesis 7:4 – It rained 40 days and 40 nights during the Great Flood
      • Genesis 8: 3-8 – Noah sent out the raven 40 days after the waters receded and the Ark settled on Mount Ararat
      • Genesis 25: 20 – Isaac married Rebecca when he was 40 years old
      • Genesis 26: 34 – Esau was 40 years old when he married his two wives
      • Genesis 16: 35-6 – The Israelites ate manna for 40 years while wandering in the desert
      • Exodus 24: 18 – Moses spent 40 days and nights on Mount Sinai before returning with the original commandments
      • Exodus 24: 28 –  Moses returns and fasts for 40 days and 40 nights
      • Numbers 13: 25 – The scouts from the 12 tribes spied out the Promised Land 40 days before they returned a bad report
      • Numbers 14: 33; Deuteronomy 29: 4 – Therefore, the Israelites were required to spend 40 years “wandering” in the wilderness
      • Numbers 13: 5; Joshua 14: 7 – Joshua was 40 years old when he spied with the scouts
      • 1 Samuel 17: 16 – Goliath “taunted” Israel 40 days before his defeat by David
      • 2 Samuel 5: 4- King David reigned for 40 years
      • 1 Kings 11: 42 – King Solomon reigned for 40 years
      • Jonah 3: 4 – Jonah preacahed to Nineveh for 40 days before they repented
      • 1 Kings 19: 8 – Elijah fasted 40 days in the wilderness
      • Leviticus 12: 1-4 & Luke 2: 22-4 – Purification of Mary is 40 days after birth of Jesus
      • Matthew 4: 1-2 – Jesus spent 40 days Fasting in the Desert after His baptism
      • Acts 1: 3 – Jesus also spent 40 days on earth following His Resurrection
      • Jesus, by tradition, spent 40 hours in the tomb.

The above Bible list reference was noted in, and with thanks to: Richard “Rick” Torretto author of Divine Mercy and the Biblical Significance of 40 Days.

Since learning that raw food is the cleanest and best food to eat, vibrationally speaking,  I chose to limit my juice fasting to raw food (adding only a bit of cultured dairy if I become too weak since I am working 40 hours and driving 10 hours weekly during the fast).

Health wise, this fast will serve to clean my body of toxins, junk in the gut, and overall bring my body to a healthier level. I’ve also inspired at least one coworker to embark upon a 10 day fast.

Focus of attention is needed to attain any desire.

As of 4/6/13 I successfully completed my 40 day juice fast, or as some call it… a juice feast! I was sooo happy to have completed this quest and feel absolutely light and wonderful!

As of 12/7/14 I have completed  seven weeks of juice fasting and souping. I am only counting because at some point in the future I want to be able to look back and acknowledge all of this but I plan to live this way. The way I describe my current program is: Raw juice fast all day, every day. Then for the early evening “meal” have one bowl of soup (primarily made up of organic vegetables, lentils, or chili).

I am making this conscious choice in order to:

  • Reset my body’s hunger clock
  • Reset my priorities
  • Allow myself more time for prayer, meditation, writing, while not needing to consider so much what I eat
  • Observe my habits and decide any I want to change
  • Determine what foods cause inflammation in my body (that I will never eat again)
    • Flour and yeast products cause me issues so no more bread, biscuits, cake, etc.
  • Determine what foods allow my body to reach my ideal weight / shape and feel its best

People tell me more insights may come to me in the weeks that follow so as those insights come, and I’ve continued sharing them in this blog and in my books.
