It’s April 29th, 2024; Here’s an original rock song about Energy! Would you call this hard rock or metal? Michael from 80smetalman or Gray Summers can tell me. Yes, we all need and use energy and this is Richard’s ode to all that is the energy that sustains us. This is one of my favorite songs! It’s got solid vocals from Bubba Hudson and a hot production mix by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN. 

Deserves a space in movies

Here’s the one-hundred-twentieth new music post for 2024, as I consistently push our original songs out into the ether. Yes, The Fifth Element is a favorite movie and I believe songs like, Energy, certainly deserve a space and place in a film like that. Someone has to be making a movie or show that this song could get plugged into. Right?

AI or will the real Johnny Depp please stand up?

Screen capture: My chat with Johnny Depp (probably not the real one) on Truth Social. He has sent an audio file too, and it was a personalized message. But I am still skeptical since I know AI can produce audio messages in celebrity voices. I would love to chat with the real Johnny Depp though and ask him about music, so on the off chance that this is the real one and he sees this, my apologies!

Spiral thought: I still believe in Connecting and the interconnectedness of ALL even though some connections are fake through AI.

The countdown continues… we move in 1 DAY! I am picking up the rental truck tomorrow morning and then we’ll start loading. Woo-hoo! Life is a journey not a destination (to quote a line from one of my favorite songs)!

It’s April 1st, 2024; Here’s an original rock song–for your April Fool’s Day! Ain’t this funny? Just the image on the YouTube thumbnail for this pop song should make you laugh! LOL

Here’s the ninety-second new music post for 2024, as I consistently enjoy sharing one of our original songs every day–and today I’m howling! Ha! Bushy pits. While we listened to this pop song Richard said, “I have no idea why I wrote this.” More laughter!

I do go ‘au naturale,’ but Richard didn’t write this song for me; I didn’t quit shaving my underarms for many years after he wrote this original rock song. I also quit wearing makeup too, except for special occasions, so yes, I’m a natural woman. And I continue to laugh every time I listen to this song!

In what ways do you differ from the status quo? (Nod, to Gray Summers for tuning me into The Quo band.) I love it when a plan comes together! Our WordPress blogging community is quite aWEsOMe!

March 11th – Nothing between us but the past

It’s March 11th, 2024; Here’s an original song in a traditional country genre for you. It’s about someone staying a prisoner of their past. Have you loved and then lost because someone can’t get the memory of their former love out of their mind?

Living in the past

Here’s the seventieth new music post for 2024, as I consistently pull a new song out of Richard’s music catalog closet every day. This song tells the tale of a woman who lives in the past (her past is all she can see), and a man who loves her but senses that there’s nothing left between them but the former guy.

It happens

It’s a common theme. People who live so much in their past, in their memories, that they totally miss what’s happening, Now. These types of people prefer the comfort of past memories, even if not all of those were pleasant than the perceived risk of living life in the present moment.

Is it courageous to live in the Now? I see each new day as an exciting adventure! But I don’t think many do.

Wouldn’t it be a wonderful world (as Louis Armstrong sang), if everyone could do as Dr. Joe Dispenza suggests and “Think greater than your environment… to truly change.” This means each of us must constantly and consistently challenge our internal thought processes (our thinking) and change our habits and behaviors.

We accept (into our consciousness) a lot of new and varied information from different angles. These vloggers pull us out of our environment. And we try new vloggers all the time, so our favorites lineup changes every so often. Vloggers who post new videos often (daily or weekly) offer us new perspectives, help us build new neural pathways, and make us laugh (so we don’t take ourselves so seriously).
