It’s May 1st, 2024; Here’s an original country duet song about raising a family. This was one of several songs Richard wrote to honor his mom and dad. Here’s the one-hundred-nineteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently plug our original songs. Songs that my dear husband wrote over 40 years. Some years he wrote many songs (when he lived alone in Bishop, CA) and some years not as much. But collectively, to write over 400 songs? Well, I agree that’s quite an achievement. And all because he’s such an observer of people and life!

A heart full of music

Richard Murrey has a heart full of music, that’s for sure. And this duet is a splendid example of that. He grew up playing guitar and so did his twin brothers. One of the best moments in our lives was getting Richard, Bill, and Tony together (several years ago) to sit around the house and play. I will treasure the memory of that! To me, it was as good as if we had gone to the Opry. A personal concert!
