‘Thrive in 25’ – Introducing Jiggle Butt!

So far, I’ve encountered a couple snags related to my new online offering, Jiggle Butt. But I’ve been getting so many great comments/compliments via my Facebook Messenger! Thus, while I didn’t do this to seek any kind of validation, I’ve certainly received a LOT! And it fuels me to keep going, even when I run into some challenges.

On the upload of the video for Jiggle Butt – Day 3, I got a notice (yes, immediately) that YouTube found two of the three songs were copyrighted to The Chevy Ford Band. Of course, that was one of my husband’s previous bands–but not just a regular live playing band with other members. The Chevy Ford Band was simply the name he used when he marketed his demoes online. He used music studio “session players” who were paid for playing on each demo. The copyright is all HIS. But YouTube doesn’t know that. And who knows if we’re even dealing with a person there. It’s probably all done by a BOT! Yes, I filed a dispute, but now, who knows when they’ll unblock my Day 3 dance video. Grrr. And yes, it’s true, I should be glad that YouTube is looking out for Richard’s interests. If anyone else used his songs to create videos, we’d want to know.

Here’s my Day 2 and Day 4 videos. I think I’m also going to post these, including Day 3’s video to Rumble! Ha! Might as well.

Someone shared something in the Dr. Bruce Lipton WhatsApp chat tonight that took me inward. I’ll share that in a minute. Here’s what came up for me:

What was the initial impetus?

Someone had shared this meme about “One who vibrates to the energy of pure love will counterbalance the negativity of 750,000 who do not.” Another individual (in the group) asked how this researcher came up with such a number? And thought that those of us who buy into this supposed research are buying into yet another illusory paradigm that’s not real (continuing to perpetuate the problem that doing our inner work is supposed to solve)!

Chaos & Kindness

My daughter and I had an abSOULute BLAST yesterday at the Recycled Percussion concert. We took a cab (after the Uber and Lyft didn’t work out–go figure, the city cab was less expensive and faster too!). We went 1.5 miles to the town center to the band’s own venue, The Cake, for a 2pm show. We sat in the front row and it was sooo worth it! (Yes, we wore ear plugs, and yes, we got free cookies when those got thrown out into the audience. Should they have thrown cake? Haha!)

I shot more video than still photos, so you’ll have to check those out in Facebook ‘reels,’ unless I can share them to Rumble, because YouTube won’t allow the music. I’ll share a couple of links to those, just in case you want to see. And here are some photos. I’ll include a very PAST photo of my daughter and I at the end too. It’s the abSOULute best, being able to hang out with her again!

November 2nd – Bear hug boogie

It’s November 2nd, 2024; We’ve got a new original boogie-woogie song for you on this fine Saturday. This is a toe-tappin’ country dance song to get your body moving! Haha! It’s sung by a great session singer (so he’s forgotten his name) back when Richard had his songs produced by Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN. It’s still a fun song and fantastic for dancing! Richard said when he played it Live at Whisky Creek in California, the audience demanded their three-piece band play it three times!

September 18th – Cowboy’s surprise

It’s September 18th, 2024; We have an original two-steppin’ country song. A fun, and very danceable, radio-ready song to get you moving! A great boot-scootin’ musical production from Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.

Here’s the two-hundred-sixty-second new music post for 2024, as I consistently open your senses to a new original song. This one’s about a cowboy, so get your boots on!

The dentist visit went well

I wore my FREEDOM Super Patch to help turn off any pain during the visit, and I believe it worked! Plus, during the whole time in the dental chair, I moved my conscious thoughts to my toes, fingers, and other parts of my body (by doing specific little practices that I teach). This helped me to focus my mind elsewhere in the body, a holistic approach, versus waiting to be poked or prodded the wrong way, or expect to feel pain in association with the work being done.

Because my daughter’s ortho appointment had been moved up to 12:30 pm instead of 1 pm (she’d asked for 1 pm and had it booked that way because of my preceding dental appointment), I suggested she leave me at the dentist and go ahead and go to her appointment. And she did. I was feeling that comfortable with the dentist and his assistant! Something I had not been very sure about the first time there, so again, I noticed my improved comfort level.

The dentist was very gentle, I didn’t even feel the needle when he numbed my jaw. And I know that’s a hard nerve to numb, after so many prior dental visits for work on back molars. Oh, and he even counted down as the numbing agent went in so I would know it was about over. I think he must work on children and nervous adults. He has quite the gentle manner and demeanor. We decided to fill a cavity at the gemlike (I’d told him I had felt there was something wrong with that tooth, which is why I had wanted it pulled). But he advised I try to keep it a bit longer since it will help secure the lower partial plate. I know they took all the x-rays (which I paid for), in order to have a way to convince me to keep my teeth–it bolsters their side of the argument, I guess one could say. And though this is going to cost me more money than just having the teeth removed and getting full dentures, I suppose I can live with it. At the moment, I am still about 50/50 on whether a partial is better than a denture. But okay.

Speaking of surprises

Since I got the check for $1,156. from the Florida dentist the other day, I am more inclined to spend it on my mouth now. Can you believe it took them so long to get that refund to me? It will be 3 years in December that they’ve owed me over a thousand dollars! It makes me wonder how many other dentists, doctors, hospitals, etc. hold money on patient accounts and never return it! May 25th – At a loss for words

Here’s the one-hundred-forty-sixth new music post for 2024, as I consistently trek forward in offering one of our original songs for your listening enjoyment each day this year.

And now, I’m finding myself at a loss for words! Unbeknownst to us, my son got married last night. I mean, he’d told me about meeting his new gal and being serious about her, but wow! It’s his birthday tomorrow, so I guess he gave himself the best birthday present!

My daughter, husband, and son-in-law’s mom had all left early this morning to attend our eldest granddaughter’s dance recital and as soon as we walked back in the door our son-in-law announced that my son had gotten married! He’d seen it on Facebook! Ha! What do you know? We’re happy he’s making a life for himself in North Carolina, but it was still a shock.

Meanwhile, our eldest granddaughter was such a dancing queen this morning–and she goes back for a 5:00 pm performance again today too! We were beaming with joy for her and her school friends. They all did such an aWEsOMe job! We were not allowed to video it, and though I got some photos, I’ll have to come back and make an update once I figure out the best ones to share.

It’s May 4th, 2024; Here’s an original rockin’ country song from a guy that wonders if he’s sportin’ it right. And he’s noticing her little skirt as they 2-step out on the dance floor. The groove is hot and yet, cool at the same time. And the lyrics are all bundled up in a swingin’ rock country fusion production mix (including piano) by Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN. 

Judge not, lest ye be judged

Here’s the one-hundred-twenty-fifth new music post for 2024, as I consistently put one of our original songs out there for your enjoyment or scrutiny. As I heard someone say recently, there are some things, even some Seinfeld shows, that one couldn’t get away with creating or showing in today’s cancel culture. I hope no one is offended by Richard’s image in this video. Coaches say to “be unapologetically you,” but most people continue to judge a book by its cover.
