Spiral thought: I always find it amusing, nod to Dr. Longo of Old World Florida, how many of us enlightened ones (someone told me the other day they thought I was in 5D), still operate from a highly-charged ego, and are too quick to judge others as being all up in their ego! Calm down. Don’t be the pot calling the kettle black. Most of us are too hard on ourselves and need not take ourselves sooo seriously! Ha!

Here’s the one-hundred-nineteenth new music post for 2024, as I consistently plug our original songs. Songs that my dear husband wrote over 40 years. Some years he wrote many songs (when he lived alone in Bishop, CA) and some years not as much. But collectively, to write over 400 songs? Well, I agree that’s quite an achievement. And all because he’s such an observer of people and life!

A heart full of music

Richard Murrey has a heart full of music, that’s for sure. And this duet is a splendid example of that. He grew up playing guitar and so did his twin brothers. One of the best moments in our lives was getting Richard, Bill, and Tony together (several years ago) to sit around the house and play. I will treasure the memory of that! To me, it was as good as if we had gone to the Opry. A personal concert!

It happened when I first met Richard. We spent 4 hours exchanging stories at a restaurant bar. April 10th – It ain’t much but an I love you

It’s April 10th, 2024; Here’s an original country love song. It’s one of my favorite songs of ours. We rehearsed this a lot many years ago, so I carry the lyrics deep within my heart and mind. It ain’t much but an I love and I can’t go through life without kissing your sweet face. Ah!

Loving them every day

Here’s the one-hundred-first new music post for 2024, as I consistently offer one of our original songs for your enjoyment. This song is a melodic love song that grooves along with its slow-tempo beat.

Love runs deep

I’ve written a bit before a bit of love and relationship advice. And it’s funny. The more I try and simplify things invariably someone will ask for more details. My mind loves to distill complex ideas down though.

I’ve told you that ‘Love is eternal.’ Love is a phenomenon that science has yet to figure out. And the power of love bonds people together. Could it be that we carry love forward in our souls as we traverse the Universe, living life after life? It certainly feels to me that love binds and frees at the same time. Being in love is such a high. Conversely, when a loved one leaves this physical plane, we can feel so low when we miss them being in our physical reality–whether they move on or are taken by death.

Here’s a recent comment I wrote in response to someone’s post about love and romance:

April 9th – Forget you

It’s April 9th, 2024; Here’s an original traditional country song with a story about forgetting a love left behind. People say a lot of things when they’re in love or when they’re a couple. But often, when the relationship ends, all those things (that were said) go right out the window!

Forgetting them every day

Here’s the one-hundredth new music post for 2024, as I consistently spin one of our original songs, and this time it’s a slow-tempo, traditional country song. In the song, she was right–he forgets about her every day and night. They say time heals all wounds. That may be true. But it is probably because we have the ability to forget. We have the ability to change our consciousness.

April 6th – We agree

It’s April 6th, 2024; Here’s an original swingin’ country duet song for you, with lively piano to bring a smile. I guess we agree on important stuff. Ha! I love the conversation between the two singing this duet. Don’t you? Their voices blend spectacularly well. This pop tune lifts my spirit!

Here’s the ninety-seventh new music post for 2024, as I consistently share some observations on life and relationships via an original song from my songwriting husband. Here’s our advice:

My adoring King Richard (husband and artist extraordinaire), drew this couple in the video. He does all the artwork for his YouTube video thumbnails and slides. And he used to draw a lot of clip art back in the day too! Ha!

Agreeing feels good

Have you ever noticed that even small disagreements can be smoothed over simply by acknowledging your love for each other or the fact that you agree on most things? Just like birds of a feather flock together! It sure feels better to me when we agree than when we disagree. I love to be “in my element” with those who agree (with me) on important things. But I am always open to learning from those I disagree with. I use those opportunities to acknowledge my Shadow Side and employ techniques to clear it. Or I take the time to release any Karma I may be carrying over from anyone, any previous time, or place.

My meme: If we made a heart-based decision, and then later question the outcome, (could we have made a better choice–because it didn’t turn out “good.”)? 1) Were we truly aligned, heart & soul when we made the decision? 2) What is our judgment around the word “good”? Growth occurs in EVERY situation. Every cell in your body CELEBRATES any aligned choice you make! The mind thinks; the heart FEELS. –Sheila Murrey

I know many people are preparing to see the solar eclipse in a few days, some even traveling to great distances. But no matter what, know we can all soar in ’24 and gain altitude in our businesses and relationships. Fly like an eagle!
